Like copper rust, the heart rusts. Rust of the heart comes from heedlessness. Allah says to Prophet : Do not obey the one whose heart is heedless from our zikr, and he is a loser.
Heedlessness and following vain desires will extinguish the light of the heart.
For dunya we need a teacher, but for akhira they say no need.
