Dastoor yaa Sayyidee, madad. Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, la ilaaha illa-Llah, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, wa lillahi 'l-hamd! Anta Rabbana, anta Rabbana, yaa Mawlana w 'aghfir lana.
O Sayyidina Muhammad (s), most beloved one in Divinely Presence! O our Lord’s deputy through Creation! alfu salaat, alfu salaam, Countless salaam, salutes and all praising and glorifying on you, O our most beloved Prophet, Rasoolullah (s)! Dastoor, dastoor, dastoor. (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)
We are saying first of all, as-salaamu `alaykum! O listeners who are listening, asking to know something, it is impossible to know everything. If you go to Damascus, for example, you will know something about Damascus, Shaam ash-Shareef. You may go to Baghdad; there you can find another climate, another territory, different kinds of creatures, different lands, different views, and the Creator created them. Therefore, you must try, O our listeners, to what is going to be granted to us from heavenly levels to make you to understand something.
Therefore, we are addressing you and saying As-salaamu `alaykum. You are lucky ones, because you are coming to listen! Don’t look at who is speaking; it is not important, but you must try to think that it is a weak servant that is sitting and addressing, and Who is that One who is making a weak, weak servant sit and address this assembly? Who is that One, Who is putting a weak servant in front of a lot of people?
You must try to know and be satisfied, because, if there is no satisfaction, it means nothing. If you are satisfied, it means you are taking something from this meeting. And satisfaction, where is it coming from? Are we buying it from a supermarket? Do you think you can find satisfaction at a flea market, or are you thinking that satisfaction may be sold or may be bought? You are never going to understand by yourself what that is. According to holy commands, all prophets have been sent to people for understanding. Where are those chosen people? From where are they bringing these things that give you satisfaction?
As-salaamu `alaykum! O you are not yet sleeping, but when this meeting is going to be a little bit longer, people will say, “Aahhh, aahhh.” (Mawlana yawns.) What happened?! Don’t open your mouth! Shaytan enters it, you know, when you are yawning. Dentures? Not like real teeth. I am fearing to open my mouth too much; they will be falling down in my hands like this. (laughter) Don’t sleep! Make your eyes open! Keep looking, keenly. There are some auctions, and people are sitting and looking. “Yes, that number is coming to my card.” For an auction, people open their eyes to look.
What about prophets bringing by holy command of the Lord of Heavens, are they never giving any caution? To look at what? What’s coming, what’s happening. But for an auction, they are so keenly looking. Give that caution for something that gives you honor for here and Hereafter. After, if you are going to gain through an auction, what are you gaining? Nothing! But if you are giving your real being, then that is your spiritual being, carrying you to endless treasures forever!
O People! Use your mentality and mind, give a little bit of caution for something from heavenly books! This is why we are sitting here. And authorities for this world, that looking and commanding and directing people, are sending something that people must take something. But we are living in a heedless time, heedlessly being, all people are just cowardly people, and never taking any care for reality. They are running after nonsense aspects.

“O my darling, what about you, look at that new car? O my darling.”
“Yes sir, I am looking at it and it is so elegant. It is so suitable for you and me to buy a new fashion car for the honor of 2010.”
“O my darling, but perhaps it is going to be so expensive.”
“O my darling, you are keeping away my good wish, my wish always. This is a new year and we must renew ourselves with a new car.”
If this is what old people are saying, what about youngsters? All of them, don’t touch this (magnifying glass). Sometimes they are taking this and looking so keenly.
“Why are you taking this? I can’t see your beauty.”
“O my darling, I am always so beautiful. The new year is coming and we are getting younger.”
That is the mentality of the people of the 21st century, first to change their cars, then their furniture, then their homes, then their clothes. Nonsense! Nonsense technology is making people to be of no mind! No mind! Technology is making people to be at the level of shaytans and diabolos! Nonsense through the top-position people, through religions in Islamic world.
We may come once again to Salafi `ulama, and once again I am angry! I am only a taalib (student) asking to learn, to know more and more and more. And they are saying, “We are `ulamas.” A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem. I am asking protection and running to our Lord Almighty and asking not to fall into shaytanic traps that are everywhere now, from east to west, to make people to become caught in those traps. But I am surprised about what I am getting angry. This is so clear that people are running after dunya or running after imitated pleasures for this life. They are forgetting real life, never-ending life. They are forgetting Eternity. Eternity! But they are giving cares for nonsense, yes.
What is making me angry is the chief of religions, the holy ones. We may begin with our Christian brothers, the Pope or Episcopal, not cardinals. What is his job? With same level of Pope? Eastern church, Western church, what is Pope in Rome? You kiss his hand? Church of Eastern Christians (Patriarch). Yes? I am asking one after the other, and also other brothers, Jewish people. They are saying that they are never accepting either Christianity or Islam. I am saying, what are you doing about the situation now? People are just sitting in it, or just falling in it? I am asking the Patriarch, the Pope in Rome, and the Chief Rabbi, what do you think? What is your job? Is it to only say, “We are representing the Lord of Heavens on Earth?” If you are claiming that, then why is it not your job to ask, “O people, what are you doing? Do you believe in an Eternity? If you believe in Eternity, what are you doing?”
All you people are saying Paradise is only for Catholics or Orthodox or only for (people of your faith). You are saying and claiming this. And Rabbis, they are never accepting Jesus Christ (a) or Muhammad (s). (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.) You are saying, “We are following Moses (a).” And I am saying so many times, you are disobedient to the Lord of Moses! It is written through Old Testament that once Sayyidina Musa, peace be upon him, had been ordered to go to Toor Seenaa, the Lord of heavens asking, “come to a special and most sacrificed, sacred buqaa, place. I am addressing you and ordering your nation to keep My orders,” the Lord of Heavens is saying.
I am addressing now, the rabbis and Israeli people. What happened up until Moses, peace be upon him, came back? What did they do, the tribes of Israel? They made a calf, and suddenly one unknown shaytan among the tribes of Israel was representing Shaytan, as now whole people, whole jamaahir, whole nations on Earth are ittakhadhoo, chosen for themselves. Saamiri? That Saamiri was the representative of Shaytan. Tribes were following him and he made them worship a cow. That Saamiri put its traps everywhere, and thousands of Israeli people have been caught through shaytanic traps, yes?
Look, at that time and Moses, peace be upon him, was among them. They are following Shaytan and they are putting their foot on a trap to be caught. Holy books are making everything clear. That is what happened at the time of Sayyidina Musa (a). Shaytan put among the Children of Israel a representative and whole tribes were accepting that shaytan, Saamiri. He was representing Shaytan and he was making a golden cow and worshipping.
Do you think that Shaytan is sitting, not moving? He is so active! Perhaps the most active one amongst people on Earth is Shaytan. Shah Naqshband (q), Allah is blessing him, was saying, “If I was sleeping and able to see Shaytan and catch him, (I would) tie his hands and feet and mouth, making him to not move, but I am never catching him.” A little bit like this, always active. Therefore, most active one on Earth is Shaytan.
Now we look, it is the time of tyrants. As it is mentioned in whole holy books that before the Day of Resurrection there will be such a thing that Shaytan is putting his authority on people. With which thing? Shaytan is taking (...) of whole nations. With what, Shaykh Hisham? With teknologia? Teknologia is teaching people, and he was controlling whole nations through technology. Technology is the worst thing and it is the worst trap for Mankind now. There are very, very, very few people you can find that have not been caught by technology!
Now Shaytan is putting his last and worst means to make people run after him. Yes? Therefore, what I am saying, astaghfirullah, I am saying what is coming to my heart to address people. I am very angry with technology because it is making people follow Shaytan and technology is going to make every nation on Earth, in its position or condition, in such a way. I am asking rabbis and the pope and patriarch, and I was striking, shouting to the highest authority in Islam, Azhari 'sh-Shareef, I am saying to them, . I am asking them, why are you not calling your nations to wake up and not to fall into the traps of Shaytan? I am saying to shaykh of Azhari 'sh-Shareef. Pope, why are you not warning Catholics? Patriarch, why are you not warning Orthodox people? Rabbis, why are you not warning of Shaytan’s traps, not to fall on it?
I am ashamed to say Salafi `ulama are never warning about technology. They are only speaking to say, “Don’t wear turbans, don’t make dhikr.” They only know how to make announcements to the east and the west. But they never know to say, “O people, technology is more dangerous.” They only know to say, “Tariqah is bid`a. This is shirk, bid`a.”
What is the position? You never said to your malook, to your presidents, to your chiefs, never saying to them that technology is Shaytan’s representative, and making people to leave shari`atullah. Why are they not saying? They are saying, “Shaykh Nazim is saying such a thing and it is not true!” Don’t say that, (because) up to morning you must die, because giving a sign of death, a warning.
May Allah forgive us. This is what is happening now. People, all of them falling for a shaytanic trap. You can’t find even chiefs of religions to say against technology. I am the only one saying that technology is ending all religions on Earth, (making them) not to follow Muhammad (s). (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits.)
O our Lord, send us one to make our steps on the Right Way, to take our steps from the wrong way to the true way. O people, don’t sleep! And we are saying bismillahi ‘r-Rahmaani ‘r-Raheem. O our Lord, forgive us and send us one from Your servants who may take Your servants from the wrong to the Right Path.
