(Mawlana Shaykh stands.) Madad, yaa RijaalAllah. Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar la ilaaha illa-Llah, la ilaaha illa-Llah, la ilaaha illa-Llah! Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar wa lillahi ‘l-hamd! Nahnu `abeeduka, Rabbuna. All praising and all honor on the most honored one, Sayyidina Muhammad (s). O our Lord, give him more and more from Your Glory Oceans. You are only One. You are our Creator. Grant to Your representative, Sayyidina Muhammad (s), all glory and honor that You are granting to Your creatures. Dastoor yaa Sayyidee, yaa Sultan ‘l-Awliya, madad, madad. (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)
O People! No car or plane or any other moving instrument is working without petrol. Therefore, now we must ask from our master, Qutb ul-Mutasarrif, the Pole who is looking after all happenings in this world, through creatures or through themselves. Everything is glorifying Allah Almighty and no one can be in existence without it; that glorifying is making people to stand up and be alive. They are knowing or not knowing it; if they are knowing, they shall be rewarded, if not, they should be mahroom, deprived.
We are giving our salute to our master, Sultaan al-Awliya, asking to be supported. They are making me to be here. He is responsible for what I am speaking to people, to all nations, perhaps to all Creation and all creatures on this planet. This association is bringing heavenly power and through that one it is spreading to everything, even reaching atoms. They may take something that they may need through such a humble meeting.
Atoms are alive ones also. “Dead” means, not in existence, but everything with life must be alive to be in existence. To be alive, a dead one needs a heavenly connection to reach it from the master. Therefore, an atom is a living one and everything in existence must be a living one or mafkoot, and anyone that is not in existence is finished, zero.
If existence is granted to anything in this world, it must be in connection with the master of this world. That heavenly power reaches the atom and the atom appears, taking it’s origin. They are saying now 90, more or less, kinds of atoms; dhaalika mablaghuhum min al-`ilm, they can’t say with certainty that there are 90 kinds of atoms, that is just our knowledge. Our authority is going to be known through our knowledge, but you can’t put a distance or a beginning or ending for them, you can’t put them in limits. They are trying to make it more and more but they can’t do. For example, they are using heavy power to make a new atom, but then that power is leaving it and that atom is disappearing and no more in existence. But if the master of this world is not running up to higher or heavenly stations, and I am endlessly ashamed to reach to Allah for an atom, haasha, it can’t be. They can’t make Allah Almighty busy for bringing an atom into existence. Allah Almighty is free from everything in existence!
كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ
Kulla yawmin huwa fee sh’an,
Every day in (new) splendor does He (shine). (55:29)
The appearances of Allah Almighty are daily and no one knows what is real meaning of “day” or “daily.” We can’t occupy Allah Almighty for bringing atoms into existence.
O Salafi `ulama! Marhaban (welcome)! What are you saying about the existence of Allah Almighty? What are you knowing about your Lord’s description of Himself? No one can speak or bring a description on His existence, only He may speak about Himself, saying:
كنت كنزا مخفياً فأحببت أن أعرف فخلقت الخلق
Kuntu kanzan makhfiyyan fa ahbabtuhu an u`rafa fa khalaqtuhu ‘l-khalq
I was a hidden treasure, I wanted to be known, so I created Creation.
What do you think about that Hadith qudsee? What is your opinion when He is saying kuntu (I was)? Lam yazal wa laa yazaal, He is and will be as He always has been. No one is knowing what is Eternity or pre-Eternal, and no one knows, al-azal or al-abad, pre-Eternal and Eternal, laa awwal wa laa aakhir, no beginning and no ending (for Allah). What you are going to say? Say something to make people know something about their Lord’s Being!
We are saying now, as-salaamu `alaykum, O those that are happy to listen and know more and more about their Lord’s existence! “Existence” is so weak (a description) to be said for Allah Almighty. “Existence,” what is that? We may say His “Existence” according to our understanding only, but beyond that meaning, no more meanings. Millions, billions and quadrillion times more can be said for His Existence, and no one may carry this, only Allah Almighty. He is saying kuntu for Himself, “I was; I am that One; I was a Secret Treasure.” Translating from Arabic to another language, these words become so weak, but kuntu kanzan makhfiyya is most close for giving some meaning for Allah Almighty. Three words that no other language may say, even through a big ocean. When we are saying kuntu, it is just one spot. He is saying for Himself, “I AM.” No one else can say, “I am here.” Only He is to say, “I am here. I am your Lord. If you are asking from My being, I may only say, ‘I was an Unknown Treasure.’”
But it is not the treasure you are understanding. All of the seven heavens and seven earths are treasures. If they may all be treasures, it is not only one part in which you can find a treasure. If your imagining is reaching about existence, all of them are going to be treasures; you can understand this at your level of understanding. But when (Allah says,) “I am giving you a description about My Being—I was kuntu kanzan makhfiyya,” that word “kanzan” is from pre-Eternal to Eternal. No one can give a meaning or put a limit on it. Not only meanings, but the meanings they are carrying from real beings are nothing.
(Mawlana Shaykh stands.) Allahu akbar! Allahu akbar! Laa ilaaha illa-Llah. Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar wa lillahi ‘l-hamd. O Rabbi ‘l-`alameen! Allahu akbar. (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)
We are speaking on an atom. We are asking the Salafi `ulama what is their opinion on that word? In Arabic, kanz and in another language, “treasure.” If they are claiming they are `ulama, they may say something about it. If it is a treasure that contains an atom bigger than this seen world, don’t be surprised. It is not a surprise if we say this atom’s kanz also has a kanz, that it contains a treasure. Each atom is a treasure and it contains unlimited power. I am asking scientists how they can say this. What is your opinion if you are able to catch an atom, do you think you can burn it? Can anyone burn an atom? Impossible. Why are you men getting so proud? You must put down your forehead for your Lord. (Mawlana bows.) Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar!
(They are) making a weak servant to speak on such not only unknown, but impossible for understanding. There are some subjects that are impossible to know or to understand. What is an atom? Anyone can say, “An atom is more powerful than all Creation.” Don’t say impossible; it is possible! We are saying that a heavenly power is put in an atom and that power can’t be taken away. As a simple symbol of that atom’s power, the Lord of Heavens just gave to some people in this world, ability to make an atomic bomb. Don’t think that one atomic bomb has millions of atoms; it’s power is from a single, simple atom. No one knows the pieces through an atom. They are using only one atom and are trying to know what is in it. What is in an atom? They are trying to reach there, but can’t. No opportunity is ever given for Man to run in an atom, or to touch it or to look at it. Can’t look, can’t reach, can’t touch! If it is opening it will burn our world a hundred times over.
And He is the Creator, He is Allah Almighty, saying, kuntu kanzan makhfiyya, “I was a Hidden Treasure.”
These words are only an understanding for people. It is so difficult or impossible; there are possible and impossible things in existence. Possible things are what you are looking at and seeing, but the impossible things are never going to be known or be seen or be touched or be used. If He wants, He can hook our world on an atom, and can take it up like lightening! Why it can’t be? It can be.
O Salafi `ulama! Such things are a grant from the holy ones to make us understand our Lord’s existence. If anyone is knowing, they can’t ask, “How is our Lord?” Leave that and tell me, how is an atom? Do you know? Why are you asking “How is Allah?” Kayfa Rabbuna. Do you know this? You must know. Someone was coming to Imam Sayyidina `Ali (q) asking, “How is our Creator?” `Ali, full with knowledge, was answering, “O my Lord’s servant, alladhee kayyaf al-kayf, laa yus'alu kayf, who is meaning and asking, ‘How is our Lord?’ the answer to how is He is impossible; leave that one.”
O People! As long as we are trying to know more and more about our Lord’s Being, it will be impossible and difficult. But we must know that He has an existence and it never looks like the existence of creatures. His Existence is 100% different from Man’s being or a creature’s being. He is the Creator and He is never going to be like a creature. As long as you are knowing this, you are going to be granted more and more heavenly lights. Heavenly lights are giving to you much more authority, ability and capacity for looking-beings. Therefore, when you are looking at something, don’t say, “That one is like this.” No, it is 100% different. And atoms also are so different, not from adding, “1, 2, 3.” like this. It is impossible to know something about atoms.
And where are you asking to reach, saying, “How is our Lord?” Leave that, because Knowing Oceans for the Lord of Heavens are like lightenings and always give lightenings. Every lightening carries unknown knowledge, unknown and different appearances, coming from atom. And what is the lowest description on an atom? What is that? All of them are looking and trying to understand the secret of an atom. They are using mathematics problems to find a solution. Making clear the existence of an atom is such a big ocean.
O People! Our listeners, as-salaamu `alaykum! Sometimes they are making me speak in such a way as preparation for the Last Day, and for what is necessary for you for living this life. It is imitated life, running into Known Oceans for understanding an atom. An atom has Known Oceans as well as Unknown Oceans, even they are not knowing about themselves. You are a man and you are not knowing about yourself! You are the most important and most honored creature among heavenly beings and it is so difficult to know yourself by yourself! If you are looking in a mirror and saying, “I am this one,” bring your proof. What is the proof? What I am saying is only a preparation to make Man’s capacity or ability ready for understanding. It is a montage. (Mawlana displays his watch.) This is a watch and you take every part out of the watch and then you are being asked to put everything exactly as before, but you are not going to be able to arrange every part of the watch to its true place. What about Man? Every man is carrying something different from the others. As we said before, every atom is different and can’t be the same. Every man is different. Each atom has its personality.
O People! Don’t waste your time and try to come forward, to listen and understand something in this short life, so that you will be honored with your real identity on the Day of Resurrection. May Allah forgive us and bless us!
