Which of the Divine Names Do You Represent?

Shaykh Nour Kabbani (q)

October 11, 2025, Dallas, Texas

أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطٰانِ الرَّجِيمِ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ’r-rajeem.

Bismillahi ’r-Rahmani ’r-Raheem.

May Allah keep Shaytan and his agents away from our gathering. We don’t need devils, we don’t need shayateen, we don’t need evildoers among ourselves. We are asking Allah to make us from the good ones.

I can’t see anybody in the back because of all these cameras in front of me, but that’s okay. I only see three eyes here and two eyes over there, five eyes looking at me. As Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) said, you have to know that every eye is looking at you, and that every eye is basically the eye of Allah (swt). Allah is looking through the eyes of creation to creation. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), that is khashiyah, that was his fear and awe of Allah (swt), that even if I see people in front of me looking at me, it is Allah (swt) through them looking at me. That’s how he made everything else disappear.

That’s what they call mā siwā ’Llāh. Ever heard of mā siwā ’Llāh? ʿĀlim, mā siwā ’Llāh, other than Allah. Mā siwā ’Llāh, other than Allah. Awliyaullah, the true Awliyaullah, are the ones that have made everything disappear from their vision, and the only thing they see is Allah’s (swt) actions and asmā’ wa ṣifāt with them, nothing else. That is the highest level of īmān.

أَنْ تَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ كَأَنَّكَ تَرَاهُ

Wa taʿbud Allāha ka’annaka tarāh.

Worship Allah as if you are seeing Him. So, as if I am seeing Him. That’s how Awliyaullah look at others. They don’t see you acting badly toward them, rather they see Allah (swt) through them sending something toward you with His Holy Name.

It can be al-Muntaqim. What is al-Muntaqim? The Avenger, the One that takes revenge. Or it can be al-Mudhill. What is al-Mudhill? The One that puts you down, makes you zhalīl. Or Allah’s (swt) Ism, ad-Dārr. What is ad-Dārr? Ad-Dārr means the One that sends harm your way. Ever heard of that Holy Name?

We recite ninety-nine Names of Asmā’ullāh al-Ḥusnā every Fajr, for what? For us to remember the Names of Allah (swt), how He can manifest through these Names onto His creation. Allah’s (swt) Name is ad-Dārr an-Nāfiʿ, isn’t it? Allah’s (swt) Holy Name, ad-Dārr, the One that can send harm through, and the One that can send benefit through. Ad-Dārr an-Nāfiʿ. You have to know nothing can touch you, nothing can harm you except by the permission of Allah (swt), isn’t that true?

What did Rasoolullah (s) say?

If everyone gathers to benefit you with something, they will not benefit you except with what Allah has written for you, and if they gather to harm you with something, they will not harm you except with what Allah has decreed against you. (Riyad as-Salihin, Hadith 62; Tirmidhi, Hasan Sahih)

So when I hear our teacher say, “I see Allah (swt) looking at me through the eyes of others,” I understand that he has made others disappear. There is no single one here anymore. After one hundred years, where are we? Not here. After tonight? Not here. Who is the One that is Bāqī? Do we know? We have to.

If we recite Asmā’ullāh al-Ḥusnā, that’s why if we know the ninety-nine Names of Asmā’ullāh al-Ḥusnā and understand what they mean, we enter Jannah. Because we have understood the Ḥaqīqah.

The reality, you have understood the reality. They talk about reality. There’s only one reality, that it is only Allah, nobody else. He keeps whom He wants with Him, and He makes disappear whomever He wants from His Presence.

Allah (swt), as our teacher has said, if He says “Kun, be!” then you are. And if He says, “Don’t be,” can you stay? If He says kun, be, you will be, you will exist. If He says, “Disappear,” you will disappear.

Did you ask Allah (swt), “O my Lord, send me to this family, on this day, on this year, I’m applying for entering into this world. I want a rich family with a lot of nice Bentleys.” We saw a Bentley on the highway, the guy was racing. “I want somebody that has a Bentley, my father, so I can ride it anytime I want.” Did you apply for that?

So you have no say in entering this world, and you still have no say in exiting this world. Who has a say in entering or exiting this world? No one. He said, “Be,” and you appeared. He says, “Don’t,” you disappear. So who is al-Bāqī? Allah (swt).

So the ḥaqīqah, the reality is, it is only Allah (swt) and His Asmā’ wa ’ṣ-Ṣifāt, His Holy Names and Attributes, in existence. You are a reflection of His Asmā’, of His Holy Names. You are a reflection of His Holy Attributes. Nothing else.

If it’s not you, somebody else will come. When you pass away, somebody else will come who will reflect some of His Names and will reflect some of His Attributes, not all. Only one can reflect all of His Names. Only one can reflect all of His Attributes, and that is Rasoolullah (s).

He is the perfect mirror of Allah’s (swt) Divine Reflection, Divine Manifestation, Divine Pouring. Rasool (s) is the mirror onto which Allah (swt) reflects what He wants, and that reflection goes onto the creation, onto the universe. So you are nothing. In reality, you are nothing.

You have no say in anything. So if Allah (swt) made somebody a reflection of His Name al-Ḍārr, the Harmful… How many are there in the world? Maybe this century is all al-Ḍārr, that Name is being reflected. But no, also some people are a reflection of the Holy Name an-Nāfiʿ, the Beneficial, they benefit others.

Some people are the reflection of His Holy Name al-Karīm, they are generous. Some people are the reflection of His Holy Name ar-Raḥīm, merciful. Some people are the reflection of His Holy Name al-ʿAzīz, they are in big positions, mighty ones. Some of them are the reflection of His Name al-Khāfiḍ, the One that puts down. So the high one, they send him another one. The high one becomes low, and the other one becomes high. Ar-Rāfiʿ, the One that elevates your degrees. Al-Khāfiḍ, the One that lowers your degrees.

So this world is nothing, this creation is nothing but a reflection of Allah (swt)’s Asmā’ wa ’ṣ-Ṣifāt, His Holy Names and Attributes. ʿĀlam az-Zāt, you can never enter into that. The identity of Allah (swt), the ʿĀlam al-Hu. We say Hu, He, The Unknown, The Unseen. Nothing can perceive Him. That Hu is Hu, it’s always Hu. That is ʿĀlam az-Zāt, the World of His Essence. You can never, ever understand what that means.

You can understand what happens in ʿĀlam al-Asmā’ wa ’ṣ-Ṣifāt, which is Creation. Allah (swt) is manifesting His Holy Name onto this Creation, and that’s how we are all existing. So, know Allah’s (swt) Holy Name.

They shoot for the Bukhārī and the Muslim, and we don’t even still know the Asmā’ al-Ḥusnā, how they manifest in this world. Know how Asmā’ al-Ḥusnā manifest in this world! Know Allah, Maʿrifatullāh! That will take you to Haqīqah, to the Reality.

May Allah (swt) forgive us.

مَنْ عَرَفَ نَفْسَهُ فَقَدْ عَرَفَ رَبَّهُ

Man ʿarafa nafsahu faqad ʿarafa rabbahu.

Whoever knows himself, knows his Lord.

You have to know, you are a reflection of which Names? That is your secret. They talk about the secret. He has the secret, she has the secret, I have the secret. What is the secret? The secret is to find out which Names you represent. You are the manifestation of which Holy Names of Allah (swt) onto this Creation, the light of these Names.

Only one can be the reflection of all Holy Names and Attributes. That is the Perfect One. It is Rasoolullah (s)! He can give. He can make the mirror. He can make another mirror. And Sayyidina Abu Bake as-Siddiq (r) was the perfect mirror of Rasoolullah (s). They reflect all the Names and Attributes. That is ʿAbdullāh, the Servant of Allah. The Name “Allah” is Jāmiʿ al-Asmā’ wa ’ṣ-Ṣifāt. That Name, under that Name, is all Names and all Attributes.

So there is ʿAbdullāh, as Awliyaullah have said. There is ʿAbd al-Aḥad. There is ʿAbd al-Wāḥid. There is ʿAbd aṣ-Ṣamad. They are ʿĀbid of Allah (swt), Servants of Allah (swt), representing certain Names.

So your secret, or the secret that they talk about, is for you to know which Name you represent. And that’s from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) that I heard. He said, you will find out your Name. And the one that has Ismullāh al-Aʿẓam, the one that represents Ismullāh al-Aʿẓam, these two Names will come together and will open… What do they open? What two keys open which safe? Who is a banker here? I bring my key, and the bank employee brings his key, and when we put both keys in there, we can turn the lock, and lo and behold, you open and you see your treasure! Isn’t that true?

So Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), the way he described it, is that once you find what Name you are carrying, or you are representing, or you have been blessed with the light of that Name, and the Murshid Kāmil, the Ghawth of the time, he has the master key. Does the master key open any lock?

So the one that represents all the Names, that is the master key. He has the master key. So if you find the one that has the master key, and you found what your key is, both of you will put it, and then you will open your secret.

They are talking about the secret. Find what Name you represent first! That is the secret. Once you know which Names you represent, and once you know who represents all the Names, then you have sought, you have looked for your Lord within you. Allah (swt) is not in a place. He is surrounding everything.

أَلَا إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُحِيطٌ

Alā innahu bi-kulli shay’in muḥīṭ.

Indeed, He is encompassing everything. (Surat Fuṣṣilat, 41:54)

That means everything is within His Qudrah. You are within His Palms, if you can say that. He has said that in Surat az-Zumar:

وَالْأَرْضُ قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ مَطْوِيَّةٌ بِيَمِينِهِ

Wa ’l-arḍu qabḍatuhu yawma ’l-qiyāmah, wa ’s-samāwātu maṭwiyyatun bi-yamīnih.

The earth will be in His grip on the Day of Judgment, and the Heavens will be folded up in His Right Hand. (Surat az-Zumar, 39:67)

Don’t understand the Right Hand of Him to mean the right hand of us. No, Awliyaullah have said that it is Qudrah, it is Power. So in His Fist is everything, in Allah’s (swt) Hand. Everything is in Allah’s (swt) Hand.

So once you know which Name you represent that He has bestowed on you, that’s why He said, “I have honored you.” He said in Surat al-Isrāʾ:

وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ

Wa laqad karramnā banī Ādam.

Indeed, We have honored the children of Adam. (Surat al-Isrāʾ, 17:70)

He has put inside of you a Light that you represent. Which Name do you represent? You have to find out which Name you represent. Are you a good one? Are you a bad one? Are you a generous one? Are you a merciful one? What are you? And then, when you find the murshid that has the master key, that means he has been bestowed with Ismullāh al-Aʿẓam, all the Names. And that Ismullāh al-Aʿẓam, as Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) has said, it is in Bismillāhi ’r-Raḥmāni ’r-Raḥīm. It is in those Holy four words: Bismillāhi ’r-Raḥmāni ’r-Raḥīm, by the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. Raḥmān is raḥmah for all. Raḥīm is raḥmah khāṣṣah, it’s for the mu’minīn.

وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًا

Wa kāna bi ’l-mu’minīna raḥīmā.

And He is ever Merciful to the Believers. (Surat al-Aḥzāb, 33:43)

So Raḥīm is that special raḥmah that comes after īmān. That catapults you to your level in the Divine Presence. Raḥmān is for everyone, mu’min or not mu’min. You get your eyes, you get your ears, you get your food, you get your car, you get your clothes, Allah (swt) has given that niʿmah to everybody. That is Raḥmān, general raḥmah, general mercy. Raḥīm is the specific one, that Allah (swt), with that Mercy, He catapults, He is the One that will pull you. It is called al-jadhbah al-ilāhiyyah, Divine Attraction.

How does that happen? How do you know that that Divine Attraction reached you and pulled you? When you have īmān, when you accept the Message that has come through the Messenger (s), that means that Divine Attraction and Divine ʿināyah, the Divine Care, has grabbed you and is pulling you towards it. And you love that. If you love īmān, know that Allah (swt) is pulling you to His Divine Presence.

Wa lākinna ’Llāha ḥabbaba ilaykumu ’l-īmāna wa zayyanahu fī qulūbikum wa karraha ilaykumu ’l-kufra wa ’l-fusūqa wa ’l-ʿiṣyān.

But Allah has made faith beloved to you and beautified it in your hearts, and He has made disbelief, defiance, and disobedience hateful to you. (Surat al-Ḥujurāt, 49:7)

He has made īmān lovable to you, and He has made disbelief and disobedience unlovable to you. So when Allah (swt) is attracting one of His Servants, in his heart or in her heart, she will feel love to Him and īmān in Him, and she will feel, or he will feel, that he cannot deny the Creator, he cannot deny the Messenger (s). That means that Allah (swt) has grabbed you. That is a big sign. So you start there, until you find out what you are.

You are not this body, and you are not the spirit. You are the coupling. You are the coupling of spirit and body. When they couple, the child comes. So you are a child of the spirit. You are a child of the mold, the body. And that is what they call al-Qalb. So basically, you are from both. You are an earthly being, and you are a heavenly being. You are half earthly, you are half heavenly.

And that is exactly what ʿĪsā (a) was. He was half earthly from his mother, and he was half heavenly from Sayyidinā Jibrīl (a) when he blew into her. He was half mulk, half malakūt, half earthly, half heavenly, as the Awliyaullah have said.

So the ʿĪsā of the time is the one that can blow into a dead mold, a dead shape, and give it life. That is the power that they have, that they can blow into the dead heart, meaning, the heart that is consumed by dunyā and can make it alive with dhikrullāh, with love of Allah, with īmān.

The ṣifah of anbiyā’ullāh, the ṣifah of Awliyaullah is such. So if you see somebody that is pulling people from being too much into desires and pleasures of dunyā, which is basically at the end, they are pulling him from one side, pulling him to the other side, a 180-degree return. You have to know that that man or that woman has some kind of power, maybe from the Quṭb of the time. Maybe Allah (swt) gave them by no means, but that’s the sign, how to revive the dead heart.

Do you know the story of Khidr (a)? Mūsā (a) said, “I am going to the meeting point.” Ever heard of the meeting point? What is the meeting point of Khidr (a) and Mūsā (a)? There’s a sign. What is the sign? The dead fish becomes what? Ah, there you go. So your murshid, because Mūsā (a) was told to take a murshid, to take a muʿallim, to take a teacher: “Where do I find him?” Walk until you find that the dead fish becomes a live fish, until you find that your dead heart becomes an alive heart. At that juncture, whoever you are with, that is the Khidr you are meeting.

So Mūsā (a) traveled. He said, “I’m going to continue until the end. I can walk for centuries until I find that one.” So when they arrived at the meeting point, that fish took its way in the water, in the sea.

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا مَجْمَعَ بَيْنِهِمَا نَسِيَا حُوتَهُمَا فَاتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُ فِي الْبَحْرِ سَرَبًا

Falammā balaghā majmaʿa baynihimā nasiyā ḥūtahumā fa-ttakhadha sabīlahu fī ’l-baḥri sarabā.

When they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, which took its course into the sea, slipping away. (Surat al-Kahf, 18:61)

That was the sign, that fish, it was salted, it was cooked, it was totally dead, nothing in there, and it became alive.

So Awliyaullah have said, one of the hints or signs that you have arrived at the perfect murshid is when you find that the dead hearts are becoming alive hearts, not the alive hearts becoming dead hearts. So if you see that you were so much excited for Allah (swt), and suddenly you see a teacher that is driving you to dunyā and to the fire of dunyā, know that you are on the other side. So if the dead hearts are turning into alive hearts, that is the meeting point. That means that one has something to learn from him.

So Mūsā (a) continued; he did not realize. Then he said, “I am hungry, I am tired.” When he went to Ṭūr, he went there and did not say anything. The Holy Qur’an does not mention anywhere that Mūsā (a) said, “I am tired,” or “I am hungry,” because he was going for Allah (swt). When he missed the meeting point, when he missed the Murshid Kāmil, and he was going on his own, he felt that tiredness and that hunger. That means dunyā, because dunyā is about rāḥah, comfort, and dunyā is about eating. These are the pleasures of the ego. Ego likes to sleep, doesn’t it? Ego likes to eat. Ego likes to be left alone, grazing, mating, jumping, running, playing.

So when he missed that meeting point of the Murshid al-Kāmil, he got that hunger and that tiredness, but when he was going to Ṭūr, there’s no mention in the Qur’an that he was saying, “I’m hungry, what do I eat? What do I drink?”

So these signs, you have to be aware of. So, find! Find who you are first. I don’t know. I don’t know who I am. You probably don’t know who you are. You think, “I am…” As Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) used to say, “You think, oh, it says on my ID, my name is Nour Muhammad Kabbani—that’s me.” And that’s what your father and mother called you. What did Allah (swt) call you?

You have Divine Names. You have to be an ʿabd. Rasoolullah (s) was ʿAbdullāh. In Surat al-Jinn:

وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ

Wa annahu lammā qāma ʿAbdullāhi yadʿūhu.

And when the servant of Allah stood up calling upon Him. (Surat al-Jinn, 72:19)

When the ʿabd of Allah, the Servant of Allah, stood up praying, Rasoolullah’s (s) Holy Name in the Holy Qur’an is ʿAbdullāh. So you have to find out which “Allah” is the Name that encompasses all Names and Attributes—Jāmiʿ al-Asmā’ wa ’ṣ-Ṣifāt.

So when you find out under which Name you are, you get the power, you get that key. You couple yourself with the murshid, the one that has turned your dead heart to a live heart. He has the master key. If he doesn’t have the master key, he will tell you, “O my son, I brought you up to a certain level. It is time for you to go to that shaykh.” Because they know who is your shaykh.

A true walī can look and know to whom you belong. Ever heard of that, all viewers? Ever heard of that? I’m talking now to the murīds of Shaykh Nazim (q). Ever heard Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) talk about that? What Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) has said, and he heard it from Grandshaykh (q), and Grandshaykh was telling it to my father, my uncle Shaykh Adnan (r), and the others that were present. He said that Allah (swt) has created human beings pure.

Did you have any sin when you were a spirit? No, the sins are here. You were pure. So He created them pure. And as our teachers have said, this is now spiritual knowledge. You’re not going to find this in books. Don’t say, “What’s your reference?” My reference is my Shaykh, and I believe my Shaykh tells the truth. If you think your Shaykh doesn’t tell the truth, why are you taking him as a Shaykh?

He said, Grandshaykh Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani (q), also taking it from his Shaykh, told Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q). Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) also told that, and Grandshaykh (q) told others. When Allah (swt) created human beings, He created them pure. All of them said, “You are our Lord.” There was no denier. Isn’t that true? Didn’t everyone say, Balā? Everyone. He gathered all Banī Ādam.

In Surat al-Aʿrāf, verse 172, Allah (swt) took Banī Ādam, all the children of Adam, one after another. He put them all in His Presence. He said:

أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا بَلَىٰ شَهِدْنَا

A-lastu bi rabbikum? Qālū balā shahidnā.

“Am I not your Lord?” They said, “Yes, we bear witness.” (Surat al-Aʿrāf, 7:172)

“Am I not your Lord?” All of them were mu’min. All of them said yes. All of them saw Allah (swt), heard Allah (swt), and spoke the truth. How did they see? I don’t know. But they saw, because they had to confirm that He is their Lord. They had to feel Who is addressing them. So they saw, they heard, and they said the truth, “Balā, yes! You are our Lord.” So we were pure.

So Allah (swt), as our shuyūkh have said, presented them to Rasoolullah (s): “These are for you.” All creation is for him. All creation was created for Rasoolullah (s), for his honor. “These are yours.” Rasoolullah (s) accepted, and his name is al-Amīn, the Trustworthy One—the one who keeps the trust, who doesn’t betray the trust.

Then Allah (swt) showed them what will happen when they come onto earth, what mistakes they are going to fall into, what sins they are going to do, all that. He showed them what they will do on earth, and how dirty they will become. But if you have a jewel and you throw it in the manure,.mā shā’ Allāh, you have a lot of cattle here in Texas, you throw a big diamond in the manure, you say, “Oh, forget it, it’s dirty.” Do you do that?

What do you do? You get your boots, you get your gloves, sometimes you don’t, because you don’t want to lose it, you just go in there, you grab it out, and you clean it. So Rasoolullah (s) was given the tools, the Sharīʿah; he was given the tools to clean up Banī Ādam. He asked for helpers. He accepted, and he said, “Yā Rabbī, if this is my service, I will do it. I will return them to You as You gave them to me, pure.” But he asked for helpers. “Let’s clean up the pure ones from the slums of this world, from the dirtiness of the ego, from the whispering of Shayṭān. Yā Rabbī, I need Your help.” He created anbiyā’ and awliyā’. He created the helpers, the Prophets and the Messengers at their time, and the Awliya after all the Prophets are gone. Allah (swt) has kept these perfect ones as Saints, as Awliyaullah.

Mawlana (q) has said: on that day, Rasoolullah (s) assigned how many people go to which one. On that day, you were divided. Sayyidī ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī (q) will take care of this much.

Sayyidī Shāh an-Naqshband (q) will take care of this much. Sayyidī Aḥmad ar-Rifāʿī (q) will take care of this much.

That’s why people follow them, they are responsible for them. And anbiyā’ before, some of them would have five people with them. Sayyidinā Lūṭ (a) had nobody with him except his two daughters, not even his wife. So some of them will have nobody, some of them will have a few, some of them will have many. But everybody was assigned: this group of people is your responsibility. You will clean them up and present them to Rasoolullah (s) pure.

That is the work of Saints, to purify them. The work of Saints is not to impurify them. The work of Saints is to perfect them, not to imperfect them, to clean them, not to dirty them. So check around. Who’s doing that? So on that day, everybody was assigned.

So we go back to the original: if it’s a Murshid Kāmil, if he has the master key, he will open for you your treasures. If he doesn’t have the master key, he will tell you, “O my son, I taught you until a certain level, but your teacher is somewhere else.”

The teacher of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), he took him for seven years, five years or seven years, but at the end he said, “O my son, I brought you up to a certain level of īmān and iḥsān, but your true Shaykh is in Shām. Go find him.” He didn’t tell him his name.

So a true Walīullāh knows which one belongs to him, knows which one does not belong to him. It’s not wholesale: “Oh, everybody is mine!” Look at the pitfalls of people nowadays. But who listens? Nobody listens. They’ve been deafened and blinded by their ego. They don’t listen to Ḥaqq, they don’t hear Ḥaqq, they don’t see Ḥaqq. They do as they like.

These are the teachings of Awliyaullah. They know to whom you belong. And that’s exactly what happened with our teachers. That Shaykh told them, “O my son, you’re not mine.” Because that was also a perfect Shaykh, but he knew that it wasn’t for him. The one that had the master key for Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) was in Shām. He said, “Go, find him.”

So it’s the same thing. You have to find the true murshid that will be able to open your key. If you find a teacher, it’s fine, but that teacher should know, are you his or not? But if he is blind, that he needs another one to tell him, “Come, let me open your treasure,” then nowadays shuyūkh think they are the ones, but actually they need one to open for them their treasure. They are imperfect.

So find the one that turns the hearts from dead to life, and that’s your starting point. You either continue with him, or you fail. It’s not about finding; it’s about continuing. Isn’t it?

So the murshid, you either continue with him if you believe in him, that he is doing the right thing or the true thing, or you cannot continue with them because you did not get up that high yet. You still need training from a lower one,.if we can say “lower one.”

May Allah (swt) forgive us. In shā’ Allāh, Allah (swt) will join us with the true ones, will make us on the line of the true ones, and will make us in the company of the true ones.

If you have found somebody that turned your heart from death to life, that is the one—stay with him until now. If he says, “My son” or “My daughter, now it’s time for you to go somewhere else,” then you go somewhere else. If he doesn’t say that, then you have to stay where you are.

May Allah (swt) forgive us.

I don’t know, I planned to say something, but I keep deviating somewhere else. It is according to the hearts of people. It is not what you prepare, it is what they want to hear. In shā’ Allāh, this was what people wanted to hear. Or I can tell you what I prepared, but if you’re not sleeping, I see some people already dozing off. In shā’ Allāh, no, we just finish here. Whatever they have sent, in shā’ Allāh, it is acceptable to people.

But know that Allah (swt) wants you back pure, and Rasoolullah (s) is al-Amīn. He will be able to bring that trust back as he has received it. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) even said that on the Day of Judgment, Shayṭān will come thinking everybody is behind him, because everybody follows Shayṭān. And again, people will object online—but I don’t care. He said that Shayṭān will look back, there is nobody behind him. Nobody is following him..On the Day of Judgment, he has no line, zero. All of them are behind Rasoolullah (s). He was able to purify them.

And that’s what happens at the last breath. When you are exiting this world, you are in a coma. Ever saw somebody exit? They are staring somewhere if their eyes are open, or they are closed and they are breathing heavily. You cannot talk to them; they’re not responding. But they are seeing something, they are going through something. These moments, you don’t know what’s happening. But what our shuyūkh have told us is that these moments are when they are purified, because the nafs, the ego, has no power over them anymore. They cannot jump and do whatever they were doing anymore. They’re done. Shayṭān has no power over them to move them here and there. They are in the hands of Awliyaullah, being purified as they receive them from Rasoolullah (s).

They are purifying, ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, they are purifying them, and they will say, “Yā Sayyidī, your ummah is pure. It’s time for you to receive them.” Rasoolullah (s) will come and receive them, and he will give to them from the Light that Allah (swt) has entrusted to him to give them. And then Rasoolullah (s) will say, “Yā Rabbī, Your ʿabd or amah, Your female servant or male servant, they are ready.” And Allah (swt) will manifest onto them what He has given them from karam, from honor.

So then everyone that is moving out of this world will be honored by that. But you cannot say, “Bring evidence.” I mean, this is īmān. Nobody is asking that person what’s happening. But this is our īmān, that we believe what our teachers are saying. Otherwise, our teachers are liars. And you don’t take a liar as a teacher, do you? We never do that.

So that’s what happens. And that’s our belief, that everybody is going to be delivered pure to Rasoolullah (s) by the Pīrān. And all of them will be delivered pure, as they were entrusted by Allah (swt) to Rasoolullah (s). Rasoolullah (s) will give that trust back as he received it, pure, Pāk. That is what Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) said: Jannah does not accept unclean ones. Jannah is the land of the pure.

Mā shā’ Allāh, they call Pakistan the land of the pure, it looks like the land of pāk ones, the land of pure ones. So Jannah does not accept filth, it does not accept dirt. It is a pure land.

So we will all go back, by the permission of Allah (swt) to work, by the permission of Rasoolullah (s) to perform and be able to give back the trust, pure.

These are all secrets that we heard from our Naqshbandi Shaykhs, and we believe in that. We believe in the raḥmah of Allah (swt). We believe in the amānah of Rasoolullah (s). And we believe in the power of Awliyaullah, in their himmah and their madad.

May Allah (swt) forgive us. Alḥamdulillāh, we belong to good ones. Don’t worry. We all belong to Rasoolullah (s) to start with, but he has given us to different Awliya..So stick with the one that revives your heart and makes you love Ākhirah. That is the one to start with.

May Allah (swt) forgive us.

Wa min Allāhi ’t-tawfīq. Bi ḥurmati ’l-Ḥabīb (s). Bi ḥurmati ’l-Fātiḥah.
