Dastoor ya Sayyidee, madad. Yaa Allah. La ilaaha illa-Llah, la ilaaha illa-Llaah, la ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasoolullah, ` alayhi salaatullah, `alayhi salaamullah. La ilaaha illa-Llah, la ilaaha illa-Llah, la ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Habeebullah, ` alayhi salaatullah, ` alayhi salaamullah
Whole praising and whole glorifying is only for You, O our Lord. You are our Creator. Forgive us and send us from heavenly winds on our bodies and on our spiritual being to be every time fresh! That is for You, yaa Rabbi 'l-` izzati wa 'l-`azhaamati wa ’l-jabaroot! And endless salute and salaams on Your most honored one, for whom You created whole Creation for his honor, Sayyidina Muhammad (s.) Grant to him, O our Lord! Forgive us O our Lord, and support us for his honor. (Mawlana Shaykh sits.)
As-salaamu `alaykum our visitors, our listeners! Welcome to you. You are not coming to me. You are asking to reach heavenly stations, so that every time you are getting up and getting lighter, and the heaviness of your physical being leaving yourselves. Therefore, praying and worshipping is taking away from people the heavy burdens that just put on their shoulders.
O our Salafi `ulama, what do you think Allah Almighty is saying? Asta’idh billah. Inna `aradna ‘l-amaanata `ala ‘s-samaawati wa ‘l-`ardi wa ‘l-jibaali. It is Arabic or Turkish? (It is) Arabic, lisaanu ‘l-qur’ani ‘l-kareem and you are more worthy for understanding Arabic. Allah Almighty saying:
إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا الْأَمَانَةَ عَلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالْجِبَالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَن يَحْمِلْنَهَا وَأَشْفَقْنَ مِنْهَا وَحَمَلَهَا الْإِنسَانُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ ظَلُومًا جَهُولًا
inna ` aradna ‘l-amaanata ` ala ‘s-samaawati wa ‘l-ardi wa ‘l-jibaali fa’abayna an yahmilnaha wa ashfaqna minha wa hamalaha ‘l-insaan innahu kaana zhalooman jahoola.
We did indeed offer the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to take it, being afraid thereof, but Man undertook it. Indeed he was unjust and foolish. (33:72)
Allah Almighty is saying to the heavens, “Have full spirituality and nothing of material heaviness,” and (He is saying) to the whole Earth, “This is My amaanaha, grant.” “Grant” is not a full description in other languages for what Allah Almighty is saying, amanah. “I am just granting from My holy heavens full with holiness.” Heavens, their material is to be lights reflecting on them from the Divine Presence.
Madad yaa Sultan al-awliya, madad! If you are not reaching to weak servants no one can speak on such fine subjects. If the Lord of Heavens was not giving an ability for carrying His Oath, it would be heavy and impossible. O our Grandshaykh, O our Master, make it easy for your servant and for whole Creation in this world for understanding something. You are responsible on that point and we are coming, muwaajahah, to your holy beings appearance, because you are such a powerful one.
It is impossible for common people to look at them with these eyes. Our physical eyes can’t be able to approach and look at them. Only whom their inner eyes are open may look. Looking is something, understanding is something else, and to be with that understanding is something else from being in that holy position that just dressed on them.
O Man, O Human Beings! Don’t think that you are a simple creation or simple being. What was Sayyidina Ali (q) saying? "تظن أنك جرمٌ صغير ، وفيكَ انطوى العالمُ الأكبر - Tadhunnu annaka jirmun sagheer wa feeka natwi al-`aalim al-akbar - Do you think you are a speck when the whole universe is contained in you?” Yes, Sayyidina Ali (q) was saying, you think you are a so small creation through one-and-a-half and two meters. That is wasat, the medium measure of our physical being. If we are coming down from one-and-a-half meters, going to be ugly; also, if passing over two meters, a giant, huge person, going to be ugly. So Allah Almighty created Man through such a perfect form: too small one or too long one would be ugly, making in such a way that there is perfection in it. SubhanAllah! There is one word to describe it, amlaaq. Giant; gigantic looking is not good. Therefore, Allah Almighty is saying: asta`idh billah: ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ - Laqad khalaqnal insaana fee ahsani taqweem - We have indeed created Man in the best of molds. (95:5)
You can’t imagine for a man or woman another form to look beautiful or handsome. What do you think if you are granted four legs? People now running after dunya so much and they are saying two legs are not enough! What do you think if you have four legs? You should be like a giraffe, so long. What about if your tallness going to be like giraffe? No good, three meters or four meters? You may collect everything without using stairs or ladders. What do you think about it? (You will answer,) “No, no, I don’t like it.”
What about if you are going to be heavy-carrier? Now people making musaabaqah, competitions. Who can carry much more heavy burden? I am saying if you are asking a competition, make that competition with a donkey; it is always carrying what you are carrying two-times more. You must not put this golden medal for you, you must put it on the neck of donkey. The donkey is going to be very happy saying, “Eeaw,eeaw, eeaw.You are happy? I am happy because I am champion.”
Is anyone much more powerful than donkey? Who is carrying heavy burden to make a proof that you are more powerful than donkey? No, never! A donkey always more powerful than you. You may only carry and your legs are trembling; you can’t move even one step. But a donkey, if putting two times more than you, is carrying on its back and it may go. If you are taking one medal, your medal must be from tin, tin better for you. Golden medal for donkey, and donkey saying, “No I am not happy with one medal because I am carrying. Therefore, I am asking two golden medals: one from my right hand...” (Mawlana coughs.) That is oldness, something that coming if anyone reaching over 70 or 80 years, something showing that you are getting older.
O people, no one can think of a form, surah, more perfect. What about for ladies? Can be for them two wings behind them, how it may be? They should like two wings? When getting in bed her husband should say, “Take away these wings, making me unhappy. Keep it elsewhere.” Angels have wings, but what do you think their out-looking or their creation is more important than our creation? No. Nothing in existence can reach the perfection that Allah Almighty granted to Mankind. Where is your thanks, O Mankind? You are not happy that Allah Almighty created you a man and not a donkey? And always you are complaining? Complaining for what? Because Allah Almighty not creating you to be a donkey? Why you are complaining? You must say, “Thanks my Lord, that You chose me to be from the Children of Adam, and Adam just created in such a perfection that not any other Creation may reach his perfection.” You are not ashamed, O Mankind, and making every time complaining? For what? That you are not created as a donkey, dog, or fox?!
“What about, O Shaykh, if we can be like a bear”? Bear better, because bear may walk on four legs and sometimes may stand and walk on two legs also. You like it? I shall pray for you that up to morning, Allah changing you into a bear; but difference because, some bears are yellow, some gray, some white, some black and some of them just mixed. Which color you should be happy with? “I never like to be like bear.” Why not making thanks to your Lord that, “O my Lord! You created me as a man, from the Children of Adam.”
Therefore, we are saying that is heavenly knowledge through prophets to their real followers. Such a knowledge granted to make people to wake up; taqdeer, to appreciate what Allah granted to them. Allah is saying, “I am asking to load My Divine oath on worlds, on heavens,” and they say, “O our Lord, forgive us, fa’abayna an yahmilnaha, If You are leaving it for our will, we are asking forgiveness. Wa hamalahal insaan.”
Inna ` aradna ‘l-amaanata ` ala ‘s-samaawati wa ‘l-ardi wa ‘l-jibaali fa’abayna an yahmilnaha wa ashfaqna minha wa hamalaha ‘l-insaan innahu kaana zhalooman jahoola.

O Salafi `ulama! What was it that Allah Almighty was asking to put, that amaanah, trust? Do you know meaning of amaanah? What was that amaanah? You can tell me? Don’t speak always on shirk and kufr, shirk and kufr! Teach people from real knowledge, then they should know what is haraam and what is halaal. And whole prophets came to teach people what is forbidden and what is permitted. Try to learn that, then tell me, “We are Salafi `ulama.” Tell me what was that amaanah that all heavens and earth were trembling and also gigantic mountains like Himalayan Mountains, they are also coming like this, (Mawlana bends over) going to be a sahal, flat, (saying,) “O our Lord, we can’t carry.” What was that? You know or you don’t know??! If you are not knowing, Allah is saying, fas’al bihi khabeera, “Ask those who know.”
Once again (we are saying) look through east and west for someone to tell you or to teach you, but don’t think that they are granting such precious jewels to anyone. What do you think? You are very rich people; Saudi people have too many jewels: rubies, emeralds, diamonds, pearls, sapphires and so many others. What do you think? Would you like to put that necklace on the neck of a donkey? Say to me, yes? Say to me and I am giving an answer to you. You think you are knowing everything but you are knowing nothing! Because they are trying to put that precious necklace on such people who are mustawa, at the level of donkeys!!
What do you think if you are putting a necklace from precious stones on the neck of a donkey? Is it getting a value beside Man? No. Therefore, do you think that such precious knowledge is granted for everyone? No. That is a grant from the Lord of Heavens. You are not graduating even one student, if you are not looking that he reached a perfection on his branch. And do you think that the Holy Qur’an that is full with jewel’s whose value ten times or a hundred times the value of this universe, that the Lord of Heavens is giving to you? What you are saying?
Wa hamalahal insaan. Inna aradna ‘l-amaanata ala ’s-samaawaati wa ’l-ardi wa ’l-jibaali fa’abayna an yahmilnaha. O our Lord, if You are giving that trust in your necks, some thief, some robber or crook may take from us. This must be granted to someone that he can be able to keep those jewels. You are not on that level. Therefore, Allah Almighty, not giving to you. Don’t say, “We are Salafi `ulama.” Where is `ulama? Allah saying: إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاء - innamaa yakhshaL'laaha min `ibaadihi ‘l -`ulamaa’. Those truly fear Allah who have knowedge. (35:28)
You are looking yourself on that level that Allah Almighty asking? Do you think that you have such a khushoo’? Do you think that when you say, Allahu akbar, your whole organs trembling? You are not on that level; therefore, not granted yet. Don’t say, “We are Salafi `ulama.” No!
You may ask, “How we can reach that level, that Allah Almighty praising them?” And saying: innamaa yakhshaL'laaha min `ibaadihi ‘l -`ulamaa’ ; tam` eed, you understand? Some of them, innamaa yakhshaL'laaha min `ibaadihi ‘l -`’. Not everyone granted that trembling from khashyatillah, heavenly fear mixed up with ta`dheem wa takreem - glorifying and praising. Don’t think that when you are wearing abaaya (cloak) and putting around your clothes golden or silver ornaments that you are something!
It is a short story I like to say to those people whom looking always to their clothes or their crowns and getting proud. At the time of Sultan Timur, who was coming from Middle Asia to edges of European borders, he met there Mullah Nasruddin. Everyone knows him, Arabs saying JIHA; Jiha, someone else. Mullah Nasruddin, mullah really means mawla. It as a Mullah, `Ateequ ‘r-Rahman, whom Allah Almighty making, no questioning. Allah Almighty giving to everyone something else from specialty. Specialty of Mullah Nasruddin was to make people laugh and think. One day Mullah Nasruddin was in a Turkish bath with Sultan Timur Khan.
Timur Khan was sitting there, saying, “O Mullah Nasruddin, do you think if I was a slave-servant, what do you think for my price if taking me to the market of maidens?”
Mullah Nasruddin was saying, “O jalaalatu 'l-malik, O your majesty, you should be there ten dirhams.” Dirham was silver coins.
“What you are saying, O Mullah Nasruddin? Ten dirhams for me? Only this? This covering that, sarong, it is only ten dirhams. What about for me?”
Mullah Nasruddin was saying, “You? No value for you. No one gives for you any dirham. I was saying only for that sarong, not for you. Who is going to buy you and your one foot, going like this (Timur Khan was lame). Who taking you? No one giving for you!”
And the sultan was laughing, happy. But Mullah Nasruddin was giving a lesson to Man. Everyone now they are thinking when they are dressing such ornaments, they are going to be so valuable. No. If looking, no one paying even one riyal.
O People! Listen and try to learn something that helps you here and Hereafter, making your ego down and heavenly ornaments coming on you. O People! Don’t lose praise at their times. First is Allah Almighty’s command; after it, you may look for your provisions. Don’t live only for your provision but try to live as a servant of the Lord of Heavens! May Allah forgive us.
