Suhbah After Khatm
A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem.
Nawaytu 'l-arba`een, nawaytu 'l-`itikaaf, nawaytu 'l-khalwah, nawaytu 'l-`uzlah,
nawaytu 'r-riyaadah, nawaytu 's-sulook, lillahi ta`ala fee haadha 'l-masjid.
أَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ الرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ
Ati`oollaha wa ati`oo 'r-Rasoola wa ooli 'l-amri minkum.
Obey Allah, obey the Prophet, and obey those in authority among you. (4:59)
I didn’t have the strength to speak, but two words might be necessary inshaa-Allah, and these two words are important in tariqah. It is an obligation in the Holy Qur'an and in the Shari`ah, and you know that tariqah has to comply with Shari`ah; you cannot say, “I am in tariqah,” and you leave Shari`ah, and you cannot say, “I am in Shari`ah,” and you leave tariqah, which is the State of Ihsaan, perfection.
We are not going into details, we will leave this to Friday or Saturday, but we will say this: that when someone has been asked something, if he likes it he says, “O mashaa-Allah, I am so excited, and so important!” if it was in his benefit and favor. And if it was not in his benefit or favor, he or she, man or woman, will say, “O it is a test from the shaykh!” So they throw it back on the shaykh as they didn't like the order of the shaykh and they say, “It is a test.”
Allah (swt) said in the Holy Qur'an, as awliyaullah are inheritors of the Prophet (s) they are protected; they are not m`asoomoon, infallible, but they are protected.
أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Alaa inna awliyaaullaahi laa khawfun `alayhim wa laa hum yahzanoon.
Behold! Verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve. (Surat al-Yunus, 10:62)
Allah (swt) says there is no fear on the awliyaullah and they are not to be sad. We are not going into this now, but they follow the order of the Prophet (s). And Allah (swt) said in the Holy Qur'an:
وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانتَهُوا
Ma ataakumu ’r-rasoolu fakhudhoohu wa maa nahaakum `anhu fantahoo.
Leave what Prophet (s) forbade and take what he ordered. (Surat al-Hashr, 59:7)
“Whatever the Prophet (s) gave you take it, and what the Prophet (s) forbids you leave it.” And the best ones who understand the Prophet (s) are the Sahaabah (r) and then the awliyaullah, his inheritors. When you inherit something from your parents, you know exactly to the point how much you are inheriting and there is no doubt about it. Similarly, awliyaullah inherit, and they know the limits and cannot transgress them. So that is why it is our duty to take a guide and follow what he says.
Don’t say, “I don’t need a guide as I read the Holy Qur'an and hadith and follow them by myself.” No, that is not acceptable. The Prophet (s) took a guide from Mecca to Madinah even though he went to ‘Israa and Mi`raaj. So either you take a guide and follow what he says because what he says is in limits of Shari`ah, or say, “I won’t take it.” Don’t be like Iblees when he whispered in the ear of Sayyidina Adam (a), who ate from the tree that Allah (swt) prohibited and he went into sajdah for forty years asking for forgiveness, asaying, “Yaa Allah! What is good is from You and what is bad is from me.” However, Iblees said, Anta alladhee aghwatanee, “You made me to do it!” He didn’t say, “I did it.” So that is why I am saying don’t be like Iblees regarding whatever you like you say, “It is okay,” and whatever you don’t like you say, “It is a test. You did it my shaykh in order to test me!” and forget about it.
So open your eyes and open your ears! We are not going to go into this subject now, but if the shaykh said something, we accept it!
The shaykh said, “This lady goes out,” in Cyprus. He asked Shaykh Bahauddin, Mawlana's son, and you (mureed who was there) are witness, “Does she have any right here, upstairs (in Mawlana Shaykh’s private suite)?”
Bahauddin said, “No.”
And Mawlana asked, “Does she have any right downstairs?"
Bahauddin said, “No.”
Hajjah Ruqayya and Hajjah Naziha were sitting there (witnessing).
But Iblees returned to Paradise as a snake after he was cursed for not doing sajdah; he came to trick Sayyidina Adam (a). So after that one was kicked out (she is) slowly, slowly coming back.
Now yesterday, Mawlana Shaykh called his eldest son and I was not there, I was here in America, and he called Hajji Muhammad by name and said, “O my son! Do you accept Shari`ah or not accept Shari`ah?”
Hajji Muhammad said, “No my father, I accept Shari`ah.”
Then Mawlana said, “Why then is this person always around in the upstairs area where the ladies are? What he is doing there? Is this with Shari`ah or against Shari`ah?”
Hajji Muhammad said, “No, this is against Shari`ah.”
Mawlana said, “Then I don’t want him upstairs, let him go downstairs.”
I heard today that he (that person) is saying, “It is a test from the shaykh.” Okay, it is a test, but you have no right to go upstairs according to Shari`ah and according to Mawlana’s order! And you know whom I am speaking to. The one, go ask Shaykh Muhammad about what Mawlana said to him yesterday, Wednesday evening their time, and then you will know if Mawlana wants him up.
Mawlana said, “I am carrying their burdens for many years and it is enough for me; they are a burden on my shoulders and his presence there is a burden on my shoulders! I don’t want any man upstairs who is not his close family” to Mawlana: his daughters, their husbands, and his sons and their wives, and his grandchildren. He carried all these difficulties all these years and it’s enough!
Grandshaykh `AbdAllah al-Fa'iz ad-Daghestani (q) had a servant, a helper, named `Abdu ’s-Salaam. He was always in service of Grandshaykh and he was never inside the house, but always in the courtyard. When Grandshaykh wanted something he would clap and call him and say, “Do this, do that.” He was not sitting all day on couches. And you know who I am addressing! Don’t let me say more, because I have a lot to say and if you don’t behave well there is more coming in these two or three days and you will see them!
We are peaceful people; we only have our tongues.
من رأى منكم منكرا فليغيره بيده ، فإن لم يستطع فبلسانه ، فإن لم يستطع فبقلبه ، وذلك أضعف الإيمان
Man raa'a minkum munkarana fal-yughayirahu bi yaddih, fa in lam yastati` fa bi-lisaanihi, fa in lam yastati` fa bi-qalbihi wa dhalika ad`af al-imaan.
As the Prophet (s) said, “Whoever among you saw something wrong should change it by means of his hand, and if he is unable then by means of his tongue, and if he is still unable then by his heart, and that is the weakest level of faith.”
So you change what is wrong first by hand. We don’t use our hand, we are peaceful people and we talk. You carry from us only talking, advising what is correct. Don’t say, “It is a test.” No, you must say, “I was wrong, I was mistaken, I transgressed my limits, I went so far into red lights, into the haraam zone!” You did your best but it is enough, finished! Mawlana gave an order for you to go, so go peacefully, which is better than if people speak bad about you!
You (falsely) accused people and caused them to be beaten up--who is going to carry that liability on the Day of Judgment? You are going to carry it on your neck! Just wait, and slowly you are going to see more on videos and clips that are coming, inshaa-Allah.
Wa min Allah at-tawfeeq bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
In-Allaha yumhil wa laa yuhmil, "Allah (swt) delays but He will never forget (punishment)." Allah (swt) delays but does not leave it, and:
وَمَكَرُواْ وَمَكَرَ اللّهُ وَاللّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ
wa makaroo wa makarullahu w' Allahu khayru 'l-maakireena.
They (unbelievers) planned evil and Allah also planned, and He is the Best of Planners.
(Aali `Imraan, 3:54)
The time of tricking and cheating is finished! Allah exposed you yesterday by Mawlana Shaykh's talk, that we hope will be everywhere so that people know the truth and that it is not a personal issue, but it is an issue of honor! You have no right to be between women and no right to hug women, so don’t let me talk more on that! Be careful, because if you don’t I am going to expose both of you!
Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
As-salaam `alaykum.
