Allah Wants Us to Be Beautiful!

Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

22 February 2012 Lefke, Cyprus

(Translated from Turkish)

Our Lord loves the beautiful ones. He Himself is Beautiful; Absolute Beauty belongs to Him and He loves the beautiful ones. We pray, “O our Lord, make us the beautiful ones, don't make us ugly ones, O our Lord!”

“O My servant! I don't make you ugly, you are the one who makes yourself ugly."

O People! Such an address is coming. Be beautiful ones and run to beauty as this is what our Lord wants. “I am beautiful and I love beautiful ones. I don't love the ugly ones," He says. Who are the ugly ones? They are the ones who do bad things, who run away from good things and, therefore, zulmat darkness comes on their faces. An ugly person is not acceptable and Allah (swt) does not love them; He loves are the beautiful ones.

What makes a person beautiful? It is not powder or makeup. The beautiful ones are the clean, pure servants who walk on the path Allah Almighty ordered. The ones whom Allah loves and to whom Allah gives beauty are dressed in a new beauty and wellness in every hour!

Each rebellious act towards Allah Almighty or following one’s ego makes a person ugly. Neither powder, makeup or anything can help it, and cannot make one look beautiful anymore. Beauty is from Allah Almighty.

O People! Be beautiful, don't be ugly ones. Tawbah yaa Rabbee, tawbah yaa Rabbee, tawbah astagfirullah. Salaamullah `alaykum O People of Islam, O People of Knowledge, O Servants of Allah! Yaa man Huwa yuhibu 'l-muhsineen, Allah loves those who do good. Yaa Rabbee! Make us from the ones who have ihsaan, moral excellence, as they are the beautiful people. There is no goodness in ugly people. What makes a person ugly is dirty acts or sins; to not have faith. He dresses light on those who believe; who don't believe remain in darkness. Tawbah yaa Rabbee, send us helpers.

Fatihah.

This is the first blessing and the first address of the holy month to all Mankind, in Rabi` al-Akhir of the Hijri year 1433. Be beautiful, don't be ugly; be just, don't be oppressors; be good, don't be bad ones! This is what Allah Almighty wants, and He says, "Be beautiful!" Be beautiful, there is no other command and this is what the Lord wants. "I am Beautiful and I love the beautiful ones," says Allah Almighty. This is all it says in the Bible, the Torah, the Psalms and the Holy Qur'an, mashaa-Allah. O our Lord! Send us helpers and grant us wisdom and understanding so we can think. Therefore, our Prophet (s) says:

تفكر ساعة خير من عبادة سبعين سنة

Tafakkarru sa`atin khayrun min `ibaadati saba`een sannah.

To remember Allah (swt) for one hour (contemplate or meditate) is better than seventy years of worship.

This is the thinking; how beautiful! Endless salaams to the Sultan of the Prophets (s). None of us can imagine the glory of the glorious Prophet (s) in the sight of Allah! Endless salaat and salaam to the Beloved (s).

O People! This is enough.

Fatihah.

The first tahmeed, praising, is the barakah of today. It will come down and Allah's Heavenly Wrath, qahr, will wipe out the ugly ones until only beautiful ones will remain on Earth. Don't kill, but bring back to life. Don't cheat one of his right, but give his right. Help and gain the reward for it. Run away from ugliness and be beautiful; this is the summary of all holy books.

The order has come to me to declare this to the people from my sick-bed today. The whole world may hear it, all people may hear it and say it is true. If someone finds what I am declaring from my sick-bed, what comes to my heart to be wrong, may he not survive up to tomorrow! Tawbah yaa Rabbee! Bring us together with the beautiful ones and take us away from the ugly ones. Who is the ugly one? Shaytan! Who is the beautiful one? The Sultan of the Prophets (s). It is enough.

Fatihah.
