Alhamdulillahi Rabbi 'l-`Alameen, wa ’s-salaatu wa ’s-salaamu `alaa ashrafi 'l-mursaleena Sayyidina wa Nabiyyina Muhammadin wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi ajma`een. Alhamdulillah alladhee jama`ana fee hadha ‘l-makaan feehi mahabbat an-Nabi (s) al-`Adnan `alayhi afdal as-salaatu wa ’s-salaam!

O Muslim brothers and sisters! We are in a crisis, we are in a situation that we are trying to come out of it and we are asking and requesting humbly, O Allah! Yaa Rabb! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Anta 'l-Haqq, al-haqq al-mutlaq `indak, yaa Allah! Wa nahnu `ibadun `ajizoon, `ibaadun muflisoon, `ibaadun taaghoon, wa rabb min Bahr joodika wa karamik tajalla `alayna min anwaari Muhammad wa huwa bahrun laa yu`raf q`auhu, huwa ’l-Habeeb laa ghayrahu alladhee turja shafa`tahu! He is the Beloved One, as Imam al-Busayri (q) said: “There is no two of him, only one. He is the One that all Creations in Heavens and on Earth, in the universe are in need for him to present them to the Divine Presence!”

He is a Noor. Allah created him from His Endless Oceans of Noor, Noorun ilaahi, nooru ’l-jinaan, the Light of Paradises! Allah created Paradises and created Creation from the Light of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and He created him (s) from His Noor, and we are all from his noor and we are all in the Noor al-Ilaah! Yaa Rasoolullah! We call on you from here! You are the Habeeb, wa kullun min Rasoolullah multamisan, all are at the door seeking to take and asking from his love to be dressed with these oceans that Allah (swt) has created!

Do you think in Paradise there are no oceans? In Paradise oceans from different colors and everyone is swimming in these oceans, I mean mu’mins and Muslims bi barakatin-Nabi (s). Fa Yaa Sayyidee Yaa Rasoolullah anta qulta you said that Sayyida Ahli'l-Jannah, al-Hasan wa’l-Husayn, the mother of al-Hasan and al-Husayn, make us with them to be with them in every moment and in every second. Don't leave us Yaa Rabb. Tonight the tajalli You have opened on awliyaullah the day of Ashura, the 9th, 10th and 11th are precious in the Ummah.

Yaa Sayyidee! We are tyrants and we are coming to your door and there is no door but yours and anyone who turns away from your door is not a Believer! We are coming, seeking your forgiveness to present us clean to Allah (swt), we are seeking your Intercession! Yaa Rabb, don't leave us without intercession of the Prophet (s).

وَأْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوَابِهَا

Enter homes from their doors. (Surat al-Baqarah, 2:189)

Everyone is seeking you in their way, every Muslim coming to your door, every Muslim coming to you through a way, that they made from themselves. We hope the way is correct way not the wrong way. From signs of Last Days, Prophet said, that Allah will remove religion, and they asked, “How Yaa Rasoolullah will Qur’an be lifted?” and he said, “No but the `ulama will be taken away.” Where are `ulama today? Before `ulama were oceans of knowledge. Today it can light a candle but before could light a stadium! they will following signs of Last Days scholars, `ulama that have heads but are ignorant and they will give fatwa. Fadalloo wa adalloo, they are lost and make the people who follow them lost, they deviate and their followers will be deviated with them. This is where we are now today. What can save us? It is what you are practicing tonight: showing your love and respect to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and to his Family, Ahlu ‘l-Bayt! Prophet (s) said:

تَرَكْتُ فِيكُمْ كِتَابَ اللهِ وَعِتْرَتِي

I left behind the Holy Qur’an and my Family. (Sahih Muslim)

When the Sahaabah (r) asked, “What are you leaving us?” he answered, “I left the Holy Qur'an for you and my Family.” What does that mean? We know in the Holy Qur'an, Allah (swt) said:

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ

We revealed the Remembrance, and truly We are Protectors for it. (Surat al-Hijr, 15:9)

“We have revealed the Holy Qur'an and We are protecting it.” And his ‘Family’ means they are alive in their graves. [Microphone squeaks.] That is a sign: they are alive, ready to respond! But let us ask because who asks, they are ready to receive and who does not ask, let them one day ask. Ask them, call on them, it is not shirk! Allah (swt) said in Holy Qur'an to seek the means to Him: w 'abtaghaw ilayhi al-waseela. Allah said to reach Him through the means, and what are better means than the Family of the Prophet (s) and the Prophet (s) himself? Say, “Yaa Husayn!” and as much as you say it, Allah is happy. [Haqq Husayn, yaa Husayn!] Yaa Husayn al-madad!

Allah (swt) said, “Ask for the means,” find a means to Him. Who is better? To find someone on the street [to help you]? No, ask someone whom Prophet (s) mentioned: “I left my Family for you! If you ask through them, it comes to me. They are alive in my grave, like I am alive in my grave!”

O Muslims! O Ahl as-Sunnah wa 'l-Jama`ah around the world! Allah gave us Sayyidina Muhammad (s). He is the beauty. He is the rainbow that keep Paradises together, a heavenly rainbow, under which everyone comes and everyone will share from it a different Tajalli color, a Manifestation from Allah's Allah's Beautiful Names and Attributes, especially from the Name “an-Noor,” because Huwa an-Noor! Allah (swt), from His Noor that no one can express or understand, not a wali, not a nabi except Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! Allah (swt) said:

اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكَاةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ

Allah is the Light of the Heavens and Earth. The parable of His Light is as if there were a niche and within it a lamp. (Surat an-Noor, 24:35)

That will be an atom from the Ocean of the Light, Noor. “Noor” cannot be described [by men], it can be described through the Prophetic Light of Muhammad (s): Allaahu nooru 's-samaawaati wa 'l-ardi mathala noorihi ka mishkaat, ‘mishkaat’ is the Prophet (s)! He is within everyone, within you, he is not away from you. Allah said in Holy Qur'an:

وإعلموا أن فيكم رسول الله

And know Allah's Messenger is in you. (Surat al-Hujuraat, 49:7)

You have to know that the noor of Prophet (s) in you, because you were created from an-Noor al-Muhammadi, as mentioned in many Ahadith, that what Allah created first is Light of the Prophet (s), Noor an-Nabi. fa huwa noorun min bihaar noor Allah `azza wa jall, so you have to know that he (s) is within you, which means that misbaah, lantern, as Prophet (s) is the Lantern of all Creation and that means his Light is within us! But we have to run for it, to seek the means to reach it. Today people do so many interpretations and exercises in how to move their lataa'if [heavenly points in the human body]; we don't want to call as the Hindus call it [chakras]. Allah (swt) put the lataa'if in your chest, and their key is with your murshid! Allah does not need the key, He gave the key to your murshid, like in the story of Sayyidina Ahmad al-Badawi (q).

He was asking, “Yaa Rabbee! Let me enter your Divine Presence,” calling and calling for many, many years, “Yaa Rabb, open it for me!” Are we calling, are we asking? Sometimes in Akhirah, or when we ask it does not come with a clean breath, so angels will not come to take up your request: you have to be careful about what you spoke that day, because if you spoke any gheeba (backbiting) or nameema (slander) your breath and those lataa'if will have a dirty smell.

Sayyidina Ahmad al-Badawi asking and asking and someone appeared in front of him and said, “Do you want the key? Should I give it to you?” and Ahmad al-Badawi said, “No.” Even a wali has arrogance. He said, “I won't take the key from a person like me, I take the key from Him. I don't want it from you, I want it from The Keymaker.” That one said, “Okay,” and disappeared; that wali was gone and Ahmad al-Badawi continued asking and asking, and then inspiration came to his heart: “Yaa Ahmad al-Badawi! Do you want your key? It is with the man whom you kicked out! Seek the means to Him. I kept it with that person, he is your means. That wali came offering the key, but you refused.”

So he couldn’t open his lataa'if, his different spiritual points or levels in the chest, so what to do? He began to look for that person everywhere and as much as he looked he cannot find him, although that one was with him, observing him. Ahmad al-Badawi went crazy looking for him and after six months that man appeared to him again.

Ahmad al-Badawi said, “I want my key!

The man said, “I have the key, but now it is not free, I need the price for it. What will you give me?”

Ahmad al-Badawi said, “I will give you all my wealth.”

That man said, “No, we don't need your wealth.”

“So what do you want from me?”

“You have to give me all the `ilm, knowledge you acquired over all these years as they have no strong foundation. Give that to me and I will give your key.”

Ahmad al-Badawi did not have a choice, so that man said, “Look into my eyes,” and with his eyes he pulled all the knowledge from him, which was very tough experience for him because when they take all knowledge, then you are like a child.

If you want the key to your lataa'if, you don't eat food, you struggle with your ego, because lataa’if are not cheap! Haqiqat al-Jazbah, Haqiqat al-Fayd, Haqiqat at-Tawajjuh, Haqiqat at-Tawassul, Haqiqat al-Irshad, Haqiqat at-Tayy[1], those Six Powers are in the chest and if you press one then all of them open like dominoes. That is what Ahmad al-Badawi wanted! “If you want them, you have to give up all your knowledge!”

Ibn Ajeeba said al-`ilmu `ilmaan: `Ilm al-Awraaq wa `Ilm al-Adhwaaq. Knowledge is of two types: Knowledge of Paper (books) and Knowledge of Taste.

I used to read books and Grandshaykh `AbdAllah (q) said to me: “Hisham, what are you reading? Don't read except notes of my talks.” I have thick notebooks, each one with 250 pages including knowledge you cannot even imagine that he was pouring into the hearts of the audience in front of him! This is what you need, not to read books. `Ilm al-Awraaq is like you are describing this cup: "O, it is nice, beautiful, has water," but you are not drinking it, not tasting it. They are describing it to you, making you angrier! “The water is tasty....” No, I want to taste it. You struggle. You go to seclusion. I went with my wife and children to visit Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) in 2006, and I was not ready for anything except to sit there, and it was two days until Rajab.

Mawlana said, “On the 1st of Rajab you have to be in Damascus, Sham, for khalwah.” I did not prepare anything! They put you in a struggle. What to do with the children and the wife? But alhamdulillah their father and grandfather is Mawlana Shaykh. However, you still have to prepare and the border was closed, there were too many problems, so they make you struggle.

That man said to Ahmad al-Badawi, “You want the key? I want all the false knowledge you have learned from books; you have to learn from taste, you have to taste the knowledge!” When you read Holy Qur'an, you have to taste the beauty of Holy Qur'an and when you read Hadith, you have to taste the beauty of the Hadith, as that Hadith is alive: it can stand in front of you and speak to the wali. Holy Qur'an is alive and it can stand in front of you and tell you its reasons for Revelation! It is alive! When you say “Alif. Laam. Meem.” Alif responds to you and Meem responds to you! Every letter responds to the Prophet (s) with all its secrets, and the Prophet (s) opens to awliyaullah from these knowledges! So this is the taste of Holy Qur'an and taste of Hadith.

Grandshaykh (q) told me, “Leave all these books and read only from your notes that you took from me.” Grandshaykh is someone, and we are coming from a family of al-Azhar `ulama, teachers of Shari`ah, and I saw hundreds and hundreds of `ulama that came to my home because my uncles are very famous scholars in the Middle East, and yet I never saw anyone like Mawlana Shaykh and Grandshaykh! They give you the taste that we are all deprived of, the taste of Noor al-Ilaahi. We are not trying to open the Six Powers that I just mentioned. You need to open them and you cannot open them by reading books, you have to have a full shaykh that open them for you. You cannot open them, he has to open them, he has the key for you.

People are asking about that, all are asking. Yes, when you connect with a source of energy, when you connect wires with the main line you have light, but when he does not let you connect with him you don't see anything and when you don't connect, you don't see. So everything around us today is something imaginary, something that we created in our minds. Today’s “spirituality”, the psychology and philosophers that people now claim to know and follow, will not take you anywhere. This is hadd ad-dunya.

O you, assembly of jinns and men! If you can pass beyond the zones of the Heavens and the Earth, pass! Not without authority (a sultaan) shall you be able to pass. (Surat ar-Rahman, 55:33)

“O gathering of jinn and Mankind! If you want to penetrate through the atmosphere, you need a sultan.” Where is that sultan? That sultan is coming, the real sultan, not an imaginary sultan. When Imam Mahdi (a), the real one says, “Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!” all this technology will stop. So for now, people are enjoying. Allah is happy and the Prophet (s) is happy because we mentioned their Names when we recite qaseedahs, and what else can we do? Now you don't find those awliyaullah who are left are hidden. You think they are like you and you might meet someone like you because they appear as a normal person, they are not allowed to appear with fully (showing their powers). We are in the Last Days, check Bukhari and Muslim `alamaat as-s`at if you want to confirm it.

So afterwards, Sayyidina Ahmad al-Badawi (q) did not even know how to read Surat al-Fatihah, as that one pulled out everything he had gained from reading books and then he disappeared, that wali hid himself! Ahmad al-Badawi roamed the streets wondering where is that wali. He couldn’t even read Surat al-Fatihah, where formerly he was Shaykh al-Islam, so he went crazy. Young boys like to go after elderly men and they threw stones at him and he was suffering inside himself that he lost his way, Tariqah, and wanted that wali to come back. He said, “You took my knowledge, so now I am zero.”

How the Mureed Can Open His Lataa`if (Energy Points)

When he acknowledged that, the wali appeared to him and said, “I will pass the knowledge that is in my heart to you.” He looked into his eyes and poured that heavenly knowledge there, which is why after meeting that wali, Ahmad al-Badawi always covered his eyes because if people looked in them they would faint from that light! This is how you have to open the lataa'if, you must get that key from your wali.

We have felt the pain of Ashura and the suffering of Sayyidina al-Husayn and 72 of Ahl al-Bayt that were massacred by an army of 10,000 and what happened to the ladies and children--they were killed and some were not touched, but most were killed. Not only that, they took head of the Prophet (s), they decapitated him, they cut the head of the grandson of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and the son of at-Tahirah al-Zahra. I cannot understand that! In time I asked my uncle about this incident, which is very heavy on `ulama and awliyaullah, and he said (very sternly), “Don't talk about this!” The Prophet (s) used to carry them on his back during sajda. How they killed them? How are they Muslim? May Allah give us the key.

Sayyidina Bayazid al-Bistami (q) was asking for the key and Allah (swt) sent inspiration to him: “Make yourself a dumpster for My servants, then I will give you the key.” It means be a dump to carry people’s burdens, from anyone: he carries our dirtiness and cleans us and we will be clean and he will carry from us to, “Make yourself a dumpster for My servants.” Are we dumpsters? No. So how they will give us the key?

If all these people who are speaking about lataa'if don't have a Murshid Kaamil, Perfect Guide, they will not get it in dunya, but they might it get in their grave if Allah wants, because [if your murshid gives you that], wherever you go you are a spotlight and cannot hide yourself, and when people look at him they are attracted to you. That is from the first power, Haqiqat al-Jazbah, the Power of Attraction. You can attract people from around the world. Now Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) is visited by people whom we never knew, strangers are going there because they were attracted to him through a dream or vision, or someone told them about Mawlana and they visit him.

So we ask, “Yaa Rabbee! From Your generosity, give us the key to our lataa'if.” When you ask with sincerity you get it. Don't tire yourself with books as they don't take you anywhere, what takes you is the love of the wali, because he is in love with the Prophet (s).

May Allah keep us with the Prophet (s) in dunya and Akhirah, especially Lovers of awliyaullah, all of you and those who are listening to these events. These days [Mawlana speaks to kids in front rows], when you grow up inshaa-Allah Sayyidina Mahdi (a) will come, but you will remember my words that I told you tonight: we wasted our life in nonsense and we lost these precious moments of sitting together, to remind ourselves that awliyaullah gave us the power to be with them, to be on the same track in the same train in which they pull us to Heaven!

If someone has a lot of sins, by making salawaat on the Prophet (s) and istighfaar, Allah will forgive him and he will jump on the train!

May Allah (swt) bring Sayyidina al-Mahdi (a) and grant that all of us will see him before we die! Do you know when you die who will be waiting at your deathbed, who is there waiting for you, who will be witnessing what is going on when the soul is going out? Yes, all of you know! It will open your eyes there and [your soul] will jump to Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! [Naray takbeer, naray risalah, naray Haydari!] You will be moved to be with him (s)!

May Allah forgive us and may Allah bless us.

Wa min Allahi ‘t-tawfeeq bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
