Dastoor, madad yaa Sultaan al-Awliyaa, Mawlana Shaykh `Abd Allah al-Fa’iz ad-Daghestani.

We study too much, but everything that is contained in these libraries on issues of religion, spirituality, medicine, and science, indicate one thing: there is nothing else, don't try to find something else! If you are after spirituality, you cannot find something else. All of us try to go here and there to listen to a speech, which is good, but all these speakers, academics, teachers, psychologists, scientists, and Sufi teachers indicate one point, and everything depends on that point that everyone is trying to reach: do we own our body? Why not? Because if you own it, then you are eternal: ever-living and ever-lasting. If you really own it, then make yourself immortal! But since there is death, it means you are leaving your body behind, you are not taking it with you.

Now, there are other interpretations and other religions describe the other life. But we are not describing the other life here, so let us focus. All these teachers have the good intention to explain to you something very important that was mentioned 1400 years ago.

Sayyidina `Ali (r) was the son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad (s) and his khalifah. After the Prophet left dunya, Sayyidina `Ali said, "All the books prophets came with, from our father Adam (a), Noah (a), Abraham (a), Moses (a), Jesus (a), all the way to Prophet Muhammad (s), all asked one thing from human beings. That is the message." And everyone at that moment said to him, "Let us learn about it." He said, "It is so simple, everything is under that wisdom." He said:

Raasu 'l-hikmata makhaafatullah.

The head of wisdom is to fear Allah. (related by ibn Abi Shayba, al-Hakim at-Tirmidhi, Abu Na`eem in his Hilyah, al-Bayhaqi in Shu`ab al-Iman and others; Sahih [authentic] ).

So the highest level of wisdom for wise men is to fear God, but not in the meaning as it is understood. It means to fear being away from His love and that you struggle more and more to approach His love so that everything is taking you to the love of your Lord. If you reach that level, then you become a wise man or woman. All the prophets, religious men, and philosophers, including Socrates and Plato, who came after, said, "Love the One Who is not dependent on you, but you are dependent on Him." You are dependent and all of us are dependent on each other. God is not dependent, He is independent.

They say there are twelve constellations. In the night sky you can see the shape of a triangle, square, or maybe an elephant. Some say you can see Venus. You see them from afar as points in the sky, and just like these points, our love of God is also far. But if you zoom in, you will see that love changes things, giving you more knowledge than you can imagine. I cannot give it to you because I have no permission, I don't have that key. But I tried hard to get it for myself and I am sharing that and giving you indications of how to reach it. Through meditation, you may go and find your own key.

For example, if you go on the computer and open Google on the universe and zoom in on our solar system and our galaxy, you will be amazed. You will see millions of stars that you were not able to see with your eyes. If you have eyes to zoom in to see the Divine Presence, Google will be like nothing, like trash. You will be astonished at what you see. Then you will be like Romeo and Juliet, where Romeo is (strumming a guitar) and Juliet is at the window or on the balcony. It is love. If you love and zoom in on your Lord, you will witness a completely different knowledge than you have now.

All philosophers, psychologists, professors, academics and so on, know just a drop, but that drop is only one from an ocean. That is not the same for saints, as they are able to zoom in. That is why one lady saint, Rabi`a al-`Adawiyya, said, "O my Lord! I am not worshipping You so You can put me in Heaven, and I am not worshipping You because I am afraid of Your Hellfire, but I am worshipping you because I love You!" At that moment she zoomed in. At that time philosophers, psychologists, and religious scholars were going to her to be blessed and to learn from her. Every lady here can be like her!

Now I will end with this. You saw the whirlers here tonight, and for whirlers today all over the world it is the same; they are imitating the act of whirling, it is not a real one. The ladies were whirling and they were better in their presentation then the men. Everyone looking at the men said, "Aah," but when they looked at the ladies, they said, "Ooh." (laughter) But still their whirling is not like Jalaluddin Rumi's whirling. Why was he whirling?

For example, if you look at the turbine of a plane, when it turns, it causes the plane to rise because it creates a force explained in quantum physics: it pulls the air back and pushes the plane forward. So when Jalaluddin Rumi (q) whirled, he created a force greater than the gravity of Earth that pulls us down. The driving force of his whirling was making him reach up to the ceiling of the mosque, thus raising him up. He was able to pull his body through his soul. All who were whirling with him, his followers, could rise up half a meter, or one or two meters, but he was able to reach the ceiling, going up and coming down. This was because he had no more body; he was depending on the soul, because the soul comprised of energy and the body is not. The body is mass, and the soul is electrons and neutrons whirling around the mass. That is why the atomic reaction in bombs is based on the theory of Jalaluddin Rumi's secret of ascension!

Everything depends on the love of your Lord; how much you love Him is how far you will reach. I know all of you are coming here out of love and nothing else. Increase that love for your Lord, because that is what He likes.

Once a neighbor came to Moses (a) and asked for a big pot. He said, "Help me, I am your guest and I need your help."

Moses (a) answered, "Why should I help you? You do not believe in me and my Lord; I don't want to give it to you."

That neighbor was 70 years old. He went back home crying.

God spoke to Moses (a), "O Moses! What have you done today?"

He said, "I was good. I kept that unbeliever back. I kicked that person out because he does not believe in You."

God said, "O Moses! What did you do? He is My Creation. I created him with My own Hands. I love him and all of My Creation. I own you and him! I created My Creation out of My love. O Moses! If you don't go back and give him the pot, I will take you out of prophecy!"

Sayyidina Musa (a) was so afraid and worried that he carried that big pot and ran to his neighbor's house saying, "This is the pot you wanted!"

The neighbor said, "O Moses! What is this? I came to you before and you did not give it to me. There must be a wisdom there. You are hiding a secret. Tell me! If you do not tell me, I will not take the pot."

Moses (a) said, "Take it!" He was afraid.

The neighbor now became stronger and said, "I won't take it if you don't tell me."

Moses (a) said, "O my brother! My Lord said, 'If you don't give him that pot I will take you out of prophecy. Judgment is for Me, not you.'"

The man then said, "If your God is like that, I will accept your religion."

Therefore, don't say to people this or that; it is not our business. Our business is to love each other, raise our families, and be happy. Don't fight with each other. That is the message of Islam. That is real, not what the terrorists are showing. They are after the chair; they want to sit on the chair, to be big people. Allah does not like that.

O brothers and sisters! Time is approaching and changes are going to happen on Earth for the benefit of human beings. If you are not busy late at night, don't go out. This is not for you, but for the people on the Internet; they are listening from around the world. This is a different time now. In the Middle East they are fighting and countries and presidents are coming down. We are Sufi people; we sit back and don't interfere in anything. We will be safe and our children will be safe. We are peaceful.

May Allah keep this country safe. Keep happy, and may God bless you all!
