There are two words that are very easy to say, yet very heavy on the Scale, most beloved to The Merciful, “SubhaanAllah wa bihamdihi subhaanAllahi ’l-`Azheem.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
When disaster comes, it means Allah is taking revenge and that includes everyone, we cannot say just this small group has to be saved. Those who are good will be rewarded, not like, “If you do one (thing) I give you one (reward),” but rather, “You do one (thing) and I give treasures that never end; if you do two will you get more treasures.” Allah (swt) doesn't give one by one, He is not a merchant, astaghfirullah. Allah (swt) wants to give His servants His rahmah and mercy to encompass everyone, even if they don’t deserve it. But when His revenge comes, the good ones in that area will be under that punishment but not thrown out; they will be highly rewarded and on the Day of Judgement they will be among the first to go to Paradise.
One time Sayyidina Musa (a) said, “Yaa Rabbee, You destroy villages and cities with a tornado. There is one unbeliever among this group and You destroyed everyone. Show me Your justice!” There were tornadoes in the time of Sayyidina Musa and Sayyidina Nuh and onwards, but not in the time of Sayyidina Adam (a). Now, in this (recent US) hurricane, good people were killed or lost their homes or they lost something, and they were innocent.
Allah (swt) spoke directly to Sayyidina Musa, Kaleemullah; Allah gave him that honor to speak with Him with no veil, but he could not see, only words came to him. When he said, Rabbee arini undhoor ilayk “O Allah!” when he felt so close to Allah and that Allah loves him, he went far, “Let me see you!” It is in the Holy Qur’an. What happened?
He said, "O my Lord! Show Yourself to me, that I may look upon You." Allah said, "By no means can you see Me (directly), but look upon the mountain; if it abides in its place, then you shall see Me." When his Lord manifested His glory on the mount, He made it as dust, and Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses, he said, "Glory be to You! To You I return in repentance, and I am the first to believe." (Surat al-`Araaf, 7:143)
Allah (swt) said lan taranee “No! You can't see Me, no way.” Like us, we are asking the same thing, but no, no you cannot. Allah saw that sadness in Sayyidina Musa's heart; He loves him and wants to give him some tu`maneena, peacefulness, to feel good and safe. He said, “Okay, okay don't worry, look at the mountain if the mountain stays in its place you will see Me.” At that moment Allah (swt) sent a Manifestation from His Beautiful Names and Attributes on the mountain, which was not able to carry it and it became powder, so he could not see. When that hurricane that came, do you think it was spinning by itself? That is crazy. Allah (swt) mentioned in many places about the wind and He gave Sayyidina Sulayman (a) power to move it the way he likes, is it not?
So that tail and that eye that they were showing everywhere, did it turn by itself? No. Who is turning it? If we think a little, we see that it cannot turn by itself.
When Sayyidina Musa asked to see Allah (swt), He said, “No way.”
“Why?”
Allah told him, “Because this is not your place, I didn't promise to give you that. To see Me is an honor for Rasoolullah, not any other prophet. You cannot step on something that belongs to him: respect what I gave him and be happy with what I gave you. Others will be happy with what I gave Sayyidina Muhammad (s), and on the Day of Judgement you and your Ummah will ask for his shafa`ah.”
That’s exclusively for him,; otherwise, Allah (swt) would have lifted that veil and Sayyidina Musa would have seen. People are mistaken if they think that honor was for Sayyidina Musa. No one can step where Prophet (s) stepped when he reached Qaaba Qawsayni aw Adna as that is an Ocean of Reality, an Ocean of Treasures no one knows. Awliya can smell its scent, but no one knows its Reality.
So what is that tail carrying? In old times, to destroy a building they broke it down with axes, but now they simply bulldoze it and in minutes it disappears. Allah (swt) is showing them, “When My Revenge comes, I will not leave anything alive or dead, I will destroy everything.” If you look at that tail and eye, Grandshaykh, may Allah (swt) bless his soul, said hurricanes and cyclones are under Allah’s Order, they are taifa min al-jinn, a group of jinn moving. They move on Earth and go beyond it up to the limit of the first sky, and from one place to another. When an order comes they can move for revenge or happiness, and (in this case) they moved for revenge. If you look how they were moving you will be amazed; as people are moving in tawaaf around the Ka`bah, that hurricane was moving in the same way, anti-clockwise around the eye! So what is in that eye we don't know, Allah (swt) knows.
Allah (swt) gave the knowledge to Prophet (s), who gave Awliyaullah what they need and not more. Around the eye of the storm is not circular, it looks square. We make tawaaf in Mecca around Baytullah, a square, and the eye of that storm is a sign that humans and even jinn must perform tawaaf with or without revenge. The recent hurricanes were revenge and a warning of more that to come, destruction beyond our imagination! Like when Abraha came to Mecca to destroy the Ka`bah, astaghfirullah `azheem wa atoobu ilayh, Allah (swt) sent warrior birds on them from 100 km away at the Red Sea, about which Imam Suyuti said, according to the surah:
Have you seen how your Lord dealt with the possessors of the elephant? Did He not utterly confound their artful planning? Thus, He let loose upon them great swarms of flying creatures that struck them with stone-hard blows of preordained chastisement and caused them to become like a field of grain eaten down to stubble. (Surat al-Feel, 105:1-5)
“He sent on them birds carrying pebbles from Hellfire, small rocks in their claws and beaks that spun with red hot light which they threw on Abraha’s army. They destroyed the people, but not the building. They sent the pebbles on the unbelievers according to their names, and they didn't miss one name.” Every bird knew the name of its target, more intelligent than today's guided missiles, which are garbage compared to what those birds had 1400 years ago!
We have said many times that Grandshaykh (q) said Allah (swt) opened a hole for taifa al-jinn, the most powerful jinn who are not Believers. Prior to that they were imprisoned between Earth and the first sky, but they penetrated that hole and came on Earth, which is what we are now seeing. They teach people how to kill each other. So Awliya are waiting for something to happen that is going to affect everyone. Devils are in that tail, moving in groups, with millions in one group. Sometimes in the desert you see a wind tunnel spinning, taking everything with it, because these makhlooqaat, Creations of Allah (swt), jinn, are moving from one place to another. They destroy when the order comes, they move from one place to another, and the commander devil that runs group of jinn to their targets sits in that eye, that square. They move with it by Allah’s order to show everyone, “I will take revenge the way I like, not they way you like; your missile is nothing.”
When the Earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion and the Earth throws up her burdens (from within) and man cries (distressed), "What is the matter with her?" on that Day will she declare her tidings, for your Lord will have given her revelation. (Surat az-Zalzalah, 99:1-4)
When Allah (swt) orders the Earth to shake, an earthquake occurs, which is Allah’s (swt) warning that there will come a time when the whole Earth will shake with will be big earthquakes occurring simultaneously everywhere. Those who know the meaning of Holy Qur’an understand what I am saying and this is their focus now. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) gave us permission to speak on this topic, because people must be ready for those days, which is simply to keep your five prayers: keep them, don't loose them! That is your safety and your ticket to Paradise!
Another way of safety is what Prophet (s) said, “Allah (swt) likes His servant to praise Him.” You cannot praise anyone according to Shari`ah and Haqiqah. There are two branches: one way is Shari`ah and if you follow it you go straight to Paradise; then you also have Shari`ah plus Tazkiyyat an-Nafs, you will have double power. If life, whoever raised himself to guide people to their destinies and helped Muslims everywhere is rewarded by Allah (swt). Those following Shari`ah will reach safety, and others who follow Shari`ah and Tazkiyyah, their power will be doubled. What did Prophet (s) say? Recite one verse of praising Allah (swt), “SubhaanAllah wa bihamdihi subhaanAllahi ’l-`Azheem, astaghfirullah,” then your day is clean, and whatever sins you committed in twenty-four hours are cleaned!
This is how we must look into the matter. This tornado came as a warning to bring people back, to warn them that Allah (swt) can make an earthquake at any moment. Some earthquakes have a powerful magnitude of 8.0, 7.8, so what will happen? It is done! Lesser earthquakes come and go, but the most powerful one will destroy everything.
Idhaa zulzilat al-ardu zilzaalahaa, “When the Earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,” who is the ardh, Earth? It is your body, you human beings, when Allah (swt) will shake you against your arrogance and pride! Allah (swt) will shake us and He wants to bring us back as soon as possible, before that spiritual earthquake in your system breaks you into pieces. So we have to turn back to Allah (swt) and ask for His Forgiveness.
Inside the eye it is calm. If you are outside along the many parts of the tail, it is dangerous, which means anything external, from dunya, will lead you to destruction. For those in the eye, Allah (swt) gives them permission to command it and make it safe for everyone to enter, and first will be Ummat an-Nabi (s).
This Earth is going to shake with us on it. If it is 1.0 magnitude you don't feel it, but above 8.0 or 9.0, will be complete destruction. May Allah (swt) forgive us and save us from what is coming. Allah (swt) opened His Paradises. We must perform our prayers, as Allah (swt) gave us something that saves us. Even one salawaat on Prophet (s) just once in your life is able to change your sins to hasanaat, with no sins left! Look at the power of Prophet (s), to whom Allah (swt) gave shafa`ah! One salawaat, and if any servant didn’t make even one salawaat in his whole life, Prophet (s) will make salawaat on his behalf, as mentioned:
لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذ ظَّلَمُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ جَآؤُوكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُواْ اللّهَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُواْ اللّهَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيمًا
If they had only, when they were unjust (oppressor) to themselves, come to you and asked Allah's forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. (Surat an-Nisaa, 4:64)
“When they come to you, yaa Muhammad, to ask forgiveness and you make istighfaar for them, Allah will forgive them.” So all our sayyi`aat, sins will be erased and Allah will fill us with hasanaat without us running and tiring to get it. We are weak servants, we cannot do anything, and we want His rahmah!
Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
