Ramadan month of Ummah.

Rajab is the month of Allah swt where the Prophet said, in the Night of Ascension, "I was not able to hear sareer al-aqlaam." Sareer al-aqlaam, is you now these when you write, when you are writing the sound of the Pen. Can anyone hear the sound of the Pen. Huh? No one. But in reality you can, the Pen it has a sound.

Every letter when the pen is writing has a certain sound that different from the next letter that it is writing. And every sound of a letter has a meaning and only, I am not speaking only about our pens as we are writing, these pens we are writing with they have a sound. If you bring a machine that can hear and make the volume amplify it bigger you can hear it. You can hear every letter has a different sound. It is not going to be the same sound. Because if you put that on a graph, on a machine that shows the wavelengths, every movement of the Pen has a different wavelength. So according to the wavelength that is written it forms that letter. So awliyaullah don’t look at letters. Awliyaullah when they want to know meaning of something they look at these wavelengths. These wavelengths carry meanings beyond our understanding. Like an EKG, or like earthquakes, all of them the same wavelengths, but this is earthquake and this is heartbeat. But this makes destruction, this makes malfunction of the heart or it is a good heart. So hen you bring a letter and write a letter and you go and present it to a scholar they read the letter as-salaam alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu ar-raja min hadaratikum… and my problem is this and this and sign it. He read it and says my son you do this and this.

But a wali doesn’t read what you are writing. The sound of what you write what is coming with energy and intention he is writing. Because you might write something praising someone else in order to get something out of him. A normal person might read that and say “O he is honoring me.”

A wali knows when he reads it he know if it was written with a conspiracy or with a good heart it was written. So every movement of writing a letter has a meaning different from the meaning that we understand.

That is why the Prophet said, when he went into ascension “I didn’t hear the sound of pens.”  When he says “I am not hearing anymore” it means “before I was hearing.” That was before he went for ascension. That night he went for ascension and that night he said I didn’t hear the sound of pens. That is why he said in hadith which you just mentioned, "tu`radoo alaya `amal ummattee ...– the deeds of my community are shown to me, if I see good I praise Allah and if I observe bad I ask forgiveness." How he observes the `amal of the Ummah? It is by the sounds. These sounds go to him. The movements of the pen are a sound that the Prophet understands. That means he understands the language of the angels. Because who writes our `amal, on right and left. Is it not angels. And my angels different from your angels. They don’t have same language. Even the one on the right doesn’t understand what the other writes. Not one angel speaks the language of the other angel, everyone a different language. And Allah gave the Prophet that power, he dressed him. Bil-mumineena raufun raheem with believers Ra’uf and Raheem. Allah dressed him with these names , complete compassion and overlooks everything. Wa sakahara lakum ma fee as-samawati wa ma fil ardi jamiya. He understand and recognize every language of every angel that is on right and left side of shoulders of human beings and ask Allah according to the moment that person committed a sin or the moment he committed a good deed and at that moment he is asking forgiveness or praising Allah, for everyone separate from one another.

How big is that? It is not something that fits in the mind.

If 50 years ago someone came to you ands aid they invented a machine that you can speak with and anything that is happening you can know it even past and present. You believe? No one will believe.

Look what happened today. With internet, yahoo and google. Even if you say hello google has it. You want to search about someone, put his name that engine gets everything about him, when he was created even.

Prophet doesn’t have google? Allah is saying wa ma arsalnaka illa rahmatan lil alameen. Wa ma - He is negating to affirm. He is negating something to affirm something more powerful. When you negate is more stronger than to explicitly say it. “We sent you mercy to human beings.” No, [it is] “We did not send you except as mercy to human beings.” Negating and affirming.  It means everything under this universe enters under the word mercy.

Ar-rahman khalaq al-insan. The beautiful name of Allah, ar-Rahman, created human beings. Allah dressed the Prophet from that name. He called him rahmat from the inheritance of that Beautiful Names and Attributes  on Prophet. Form the attribute of Rahman he created creation and provided them and made this whole universe from one name. What about other names? One name!

And he said, I made Prophet, messenger of Allah, my Prophet, I made him mercy for humanity. It means he is inheriting from that name and that name is manifesting itself on Prophet and the Prophet is becoming like a huge light, I cannot say other than that, a huge reality that in it fits everything. Every, every, every energy has a plug in it, it is a huge unknown the biggest power, the taaqat al-kubra, the biggest energy that is in the cosmos that Allah created creation this energy. Allah made Prophet to contain that light that every source of light that comes out of it appear in a what we are seeing today. If you are not plugged there you don’t appear here. Anything. Even an animal in the wilderness, even a worm under rocks, it has to have a plug there, in the mercy of Prophet. He said, ana al-Qassim, in the authentic real hadith, ana al-Qassim wa ana al-Mahi wa an al-Qassim wa ana Yasin.

It means he is diving the rizq of the Ummah on its members. Everyone has a plug there. Whatever you can pull, pull. One lamp can pull 100 watts; one can pull 1000 watts; one can pull 5 watts; if it pulls more it burns. It cannot take more. Some are spotlight with high voltage. The Prophet is saying pull whatever you want but you need the good wires. Do we have wires? That is the question. That is the story you mentioned, you came to the Shaykh and he said, “O my Shaykh!” He knew himself. He knew he didn’t deserve to be anything that man. Who knows himself knows his lord. He knew himself, not by talking. People today make seminars, conferences, workshops only by talking there is no action. Action is meetings, like these meetings try to purity the soul from its sickness as we were saying in the morning. The soul has to be given some kind of medicine also, there is the body and there is the soul. Everyone is looking after the body, is it nice. Look in the mirror. O no, I need botox. Hah? I need plastic surgery. After a while they are pulling their eyes up, pushing them up and up until they become chinese.

What you want you are 50,60 years and you want botox and plastic surgery. You cannot walk even.

He knew himself that he is nothing Allah presence. He is in complete absolute understanding of his own nothingness, the only one that exists is his lord. How to come to his lord? There is no way. There is only one way, thru the doctor. You go to the doctor, and he tells you, o all these medicines in the pharmacy. He is doctor. This poor man comes and says "O doctor, I need to go to pharmacy." The doctor looks at him. He is doctor by name. He says to him, “go to the pharmacy and there are many medicines, go to pharmacy and pick the one that has the nicest cover, emballage.” You need a doctor that is sitting inside that pill; sitting there. That pill has nothing if there is not an angel sitting there. There must be something from the Prophet to that pill in order to make you feel something.

He sees all these nice labels and boxes. And he looks and looks and finds one, saying, “O this is nice; organic.” Or a lady by the beach sitting there. Or one many by disco: “O this is energy.” He takes it. And he doesn’t know what he is taking. All side effects are on him.

Because that pharmacy has everything .you need the right combination for your sickness. So what do you need? You need a real doctor, a healer. Someone who is inside the pill.

All this you don’t need them. He might go down in the box in the cabinet and there is a lot of dirt on it and he cleans it off and he gives to you; you take it and go. You take it or you don’t? you want the one with the nice cover or you want the old one with dust. He says “O what is that doctor?” You want the dust?

Then you will be like the story of Sayyidina Abdul Qadir al-Jilani قدس سرّه , when one lady was coming to him at sunset time, and next to him all the mureeds, big ones like Yusuf and this one Abdul Haqq and in the evening the chef brings the food in front of Sayyidina Abdul Qadir al-Jilani قدس سرّه, you have these turkeys; the big one like they make here for thanksgiving, might be 20 or 30 or 50 lbs. and here on this side is Yusuf and all the way all of them eating, with their hands. Not with fork and knife and [makes poking sign] and they make everything to fall and they were taking like this [makes motion like pulling apart turkey]. showing manhood. Don’t think I am speaking only for men. In Holy Qur'an  manhood is for men and women, that they came to the level of maturity.

So they are eating and enjoying, not leaving the bones even, they are cracking the bones. That lady was looking and said “SubhanAllah I am very poor. If I bring my son to be student of Sayyidina Abdul Qadir al-Jilani  قدس سرّه at least he will eat half the turkey and bring half turkey home.”

So she went to Abdul Qadir al-Jilani قدس سرّه  and said to him, “I want you to take my son as a mureed.” So he looked at her and saw he is young. So he said, “Yes we accept. You go he is with us now.”

So after next day felt shy to go and look so she said, “O I will go in few days and get my half of the turkey.” So she went and she didn’t find her son. She is looking for her half of the turkey. She didn’t find him. She went to Abdul Qadir Jilani قدس سرّه  and said, “Where is my son?” He said, “He is downstairs.” He is not in a dungeon but “downstairs.” So she went down and found him and he was already slim like Sahib and now he was so thin. Giving him the dust, not even the covers. So she was crying and went to Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani قدس سرّه and said, “I gave you my son and you made him like that.” He said, “You gave me your son and asked him to make him like us. In order to be like us he has to be in dungeons eating food like that in order to become a man.”

Now we see a little bit of difficulties we complain. I am not speaking of dunya difficulties: work and so on. But I am speaking of difficulties from the guide, the Shaykh. He gives you a little bit of a hard time and you begin to say, “why, why, why?” and to complain. They are giving you the combination to treat you. They are not going to cheat you. He knows the pill to treat you and that is because he lived through that and he knows it suits you.

So that is combination du`a that is made from different Names of Allah and that is why you need a real doctor not like the fake ones that are sitting there. These are 3 real doctors. They are sitting here, those two and that one, where is he hiding?

You need real doctors. That man realized he is not worth anything. He knew he needs a guide and that guide is available. You have to be thankful to Allah millions of times that without having to run after it Allah presented you a guide like Mawlana Shaykh Nazim قدس سرّه  and he is ready to take you. People are running to India, to Himalayas and they are going in mountains and finding plastic guides. You know plastic guide. They run sit in their presence you get something, yes, but for dunya not for akhira.

You need real ones, rijalun sadaqoo ma `ahada-Allah `alayh - men who kept their covenant with Allah; they never change. What we are doing here, we are wasting our time, jogging on the streets naked, running to the beaches naked, going to discos naked. Not thinking about akhira - the Hereafter. Only thinking about now. There are now Shaykhs. Do you know now Shaykhs? Now, “now” Shaykhs. It means the Shaykhs that are of now, they want to live the moment. They want all kinds of pleasurely moments. We are weak servants what can we do. We hope that Allah forgive us. We are

Ya sayyidee ya Rasulullah, ya rahmatan lil alameen.

[looks at a bee flying in the room] Look these bees they are angels. There are angels that are roaming the streets looking for people who are remembering their Lord. Allah sent them in different shapes to check on those remembering their Lord.

So what he said. He said “O my Shaykh accept me as a dog.” He looked at him, he said, “I have too many, they are all barking.”

“I want one more barking here? No, no, no keep away. Although they are loyal. But no, no, no. Everything is me, you; I, you; I and you. They are “I and you.” Always barking to each other. They say they love me. They don’t love me. If they love me then let them love each other. Then they are loyal. But they are on the way, so I am keeping them. I am worried they are barking to much and if I leave them the neighbor will take them to the orphanage, what is it called?; to the animal shelter.

So he was looking. He said, "OK my Shaykh knows me." He was coming to his Shaykh and asking really and truly to be accept him as a dog a the door. He was not saying in loyalty, but was thinking as dog, who barks too much. The Shaykh said, “I have too many who bark too much.” It means the ma’zoons of the Shaykh, the one given permission by Shaykh to lead dhikr. When hunter goes, he cannot go to hunt without a dog. The dog brings the prey. The Shaykh must have – symbolically we are speaking, we don’t mean animals but symbolically - he must have in the mureed the characteristics of the dog, to hunt the lost ones.

That is why rehabilitation is important. Who can find those people who are lost on the street. Not the Shaykh is going to go on street. Mureeds go and pick them off the street and the Shaykh will rehabilitate them.

No I have too many what do I need one more.

He said, what i have to do. He didn’t think put me lion at your door, or camel. He knew it fa`lan. By action not by qawlan by words.

So what I put you. He said, “O my Shaykh I didn’t see here a donkey that you can ride on. I will be a donkey that you can ride on me.”

He looked at him and said, “you see all of them, every day I change one of them they are all donkeys.”

If the Shaykh doesn’t ride on your you are lost, because he is riding on your ego. Your ego doesn’t let anyone to ride on you. Your ego wants to ride on your soul. The big problem is that our ego wants to ride on our soul. And all of us are being controlled by our ego. Don’t say “I am not.” Then you are the first. ]I am first]

I am first you are second.  It is not simple.

You are before the first even.

We are all like that. If the Shaykh doesn’t hold your ego, oh you are lost. It is up to you. You came here finished. You have been chained. When you gave baya it is finished. All of them I am riding on them. He didn’t tell him why he is riding on them. He is riding on them because he is riding on their egos. He knew that he has no more ego that mureed. He became free. He came to the complete understanding that he is nothing.

“My Shaykh did not accept me as a dog and didn’t accept me as a donkey. What is left, a  chicken; a rooster; a rabbit; a worm…? O my Shaykh I found it!”

He said, “what?” He said, “I think that I can be… a pig at your door.” He said, “you are so clever. I don’t have a pig. I am willing I am looking for one but no one wants to be a pig at my door. It is a good job for you. I am giving you authority on that.”

GrandShaykh, may Allah bless his soul, explained that in the understanding of spirituality, as Shaykh Abdul Haqq said at the beginning, that dog is loyalty and donkey carries [burdens?], and the pig eats all the dirtiness of the others. The pig eats the dirt of others and if he doesn’t find anything to eat he eats his own waste. So it means he is eating all his sins and the sins of his friends and he gives himself as sacrifice for everyone in order of everyone to be pure and free.

He said, “ I don’t have that.”

It means that you have to turn yourself into someone that carries all your brothers’ and sisters’ mistakes and put them all on your shoulders and say “Ya Rabbee, I am taking responsibility for them and asking forgiveness for them in front of Shaykh; in front of the Prophet and in front of Allah.”

May Allah bless this meeting and may Allah keep us on the right track together with our Shaykh Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al–Haqqani and give us long life to see Mahdi.
