Suhbah at International Cultural Center (ICC)
InshaaAllah we start with dhikrullah then an advice for myself and you, inshaaAllah to clean all our sins. [Khatm al-Khwajagan.]
Anyone wants to speak? As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakaatuh. [Wa `alaykum salaam wa rahmatullah wa barakaatuh.] When they reply, “wa `alaykum salaam,” it’s enough for the whole Ummah. As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakaatuh. [Wa `alaykum salaam wa rahmatullah wa barakaatuh.] Even if only one person says it, it’s enough to download and attract all angels in Heaven, one salaam. So what do you think about 200 salaams (from all these attendees)? Allah’s Rahmah cannot be counted. We count everything; they think they are counting, they count the size of everything today with technology, but can they count how many hairs I have in my beard? Doctor? [Maybe?] Okay, come! Maybe for Awliya, yes, maybe for prophets, of course, maybe for Sayyidina Muhammad (s), for sure. But for just anyone it’s impossible.
Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. Alhamdulillahi Rabbi 'l-`Alameen, wa ’s-salaatu wa ’s-salaamu `alaa ashrafi 'l-mursaleena Sayyidina wa Nabiyyina Muhammadin wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi ajma`een.
I will mention the story about how Ummat an-Nabi (s) is so important and then we come to how to be peaceful in a situation where there is fighting everywhere. I am not a lecturer, I am not a speaker, I am not `alim. I am someone that likes to be at the door or threshold of `ulama. I don’t prepare [what I will speak], sometimes for Jumu`ah, yes, but other times, whatever comes to the heart I relate and it's important for me and important for you. If I say something, it doesn’t mean I don't need it, I need it as you need it.
Today the problem is that `ulama, with all their hard work, if they are not really surrendering in their actions to Allah (swt) and to the Prophet (s) and to Islam, they cannot improve themselves, although, on the other hand, Allah loves them and loves the whole Ummah of the Prophet (s) and that is why He said in Holy Qur'an:
كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ
You are the best of Nations sent to Mankind, calling for what is good and prohibiting what is wrong.
(Surat Aali-`Imraan, 3:110)
“You were/are the best Ummah that Allah has sent to humanity,” from Sayyidina Adam (a) and all prophets to the Prophet, Sayyidina Muhammad (s). Allah is saying that the Ummah of Prophet (s) is the best over all the others! That is honor for us, that is big honor! When you get respect or honor from Allah (swt), that is what counts. Even if you memorized the whole Holy Qur'an or memorized the whole Ahaadith, if you don’t get that honor from the top that means your `ilm is not perfect, it’s a soup, it is not sincere.
The Ummah lacks sincerity, and still with that Allah made them the best Ummah. Look at Allah's Love! He made us different from any other nations in order...it is our duty and our obligation to remain in sajda and never raise our heads! When Allah honors:
wa lillahi ’l-`izzatu wa li rasoolihi wa li ‘l-mu’mineen.
Great honor is for Allah and for the Prophet (s) and for the Believers (and Muslims). (Surat al-Munaafiqoon, 63:8)
Honor, `izza, is for Allah (swt), for His Prophet (s), and for Mu’mins, which is this [gathering]. So He said, “You are the best Ummah,” you are and you were, the ayah comes ‘kuntum’ in the past tense, “You were the best Ummah,” which means, “when you were not yet in the physical form, but in souls on the Day of Promises, when everyone said to Allah (swt), ‘You are our Creator’, from the time Muslims said ‘Laa ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadan Rasoolullah,’ I made you the best Ummah there, in that time, not when you were coming to dunya, but from that time where no one knows that time, when souls were in My Divine Presence. I made you the best Ummah!”
So what is our obligation to Allah (swt)? What is our obligation? It is to put our head in sajda and not to raise our heads! One young person came to me in Ramadan and he was crying and he said, “O Shaykh! Guess what happened.”
I said, “Tell me.”
He was crying and said, “My father died.”
He was young. I know them, so I said, “Where, when?”
He said, “We were going to pray Taraweeh (in Ramadan) and when we reached sajda before at-Tahiyyaat, my father stayed in sajda and never woke up, he died in sajda.”
He was in the position of sajda in Taraweeh when he died, is that not an honor? That is an honor that Allah gave that person! So let us ask ourselves, what did Allah give us? What is the best honor? The best honor is that He made us Muslimeen, muwahhideen from Ummat an-Nabi (s)! That is enough honor for us, that is why Ummat an-Nabi (s) is ummatan maghfoora, the nation Allah has forgiven of all sins, except from killing; that Allah will not forgive.
The Faith of Sayyidina Musa’s Neighbor
The story I want to mention is of Sayyidina Musa (a). He had a neighbor who believed in him and who believed in Allah (swt), and he knew that Sayyidina Musa (a) was preparing himself to go up Toor Seenaa, Mt. Sinai. So he ran to him and said, “Yaa Nabiyyullah, yaa Musa! I have a request. You are Kaleemullah, you speak to Allah directly. I want you to ask Him for faith for me, I want faith.”
What do we Muslims lack? We lack faith:
Amantu billahi wa malaa’ikatihi wa kutubihi wa rusulihi wa bi ’l-yawmi ‘l-aahkiri wa bi ‘l-qadiri khayrihi wa sharrihi min Allahi ta`ala.
I declare my belief in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Day of Judgment, and in Destiny, both its good and evil being from Allah the Exalted. (Imaan al-Mufassal)
“I believe in Allah and His Angels and His Books and His Prophets and in the Day of Judgement, and in Qadr, destiny, its good and its bad.” When you believe you have to make `itaa` a lot, you have to say sami`anaa wa ata`anaa, “We hear and we obey,” when you believe.
That neighbor told Sayyidina Musa (a), “I don't have a lot of faith,” even though he had a lot, but he used his heart, not his mind, if he used his mind he would have said, “Oh, I have a lot of faith,” but when you use your heart you know that you have nothing, we won’t say ‘nothing’, but you lack faith.
Sayyidina Musa (a) said to him, “Why? Don't you believe in me?”
He said, “Of course I believe in you or else I will not ask you to ask My Lord for imaan.”
Do we have faith? What did Sayyidina `Umar (r) do when the Sahaabah (r) gave him baya` as Ameer al-Mu’mineen? He came to the house crying and his wife said, “O `Umar, why are you crying? You are the Head of Believers, Ameer al-Mu’mineen.”
Sayyidina `Umar (r) was known as strong and firm, not afraid of anyone! The Prophet (s) said:
لَوْ كَانَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ لَكَانَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ
The Messenger of Allah (s) said, "If there was going to be a prophet after me, it would have been `Umar bin Al-Khattab." (Narrated `Uqbah bin `Amir; Tirmidhi)
Sayyidina `Ali Carries the Old Lady’s Basket
And he said Sayyidina `Ali (r) carried the whole dunya to his knees. Remember? In a story that grandshaykh tells, one day Sayyidina `Ali (r) was walking in Madinat al-Munawwarah and as he was walking, he observed adab and he was looking where he has to put his feet. Today, do we look at where we put our feet when we are walking? No, we look right and left. So he was looking at his feet, but he sensed someone walking in front of him and looking up he saw a very old lady, very, very old, carrying a wicker basket. And he looked at her and with high adab Sayyidina `Ali (r) came to her and he said, “Can I help you?”
She said, “Yes, but I don't think you can carry my basket.”
He said, “How can I not carry your basket!”
Of course he can carry it, at least that is the thought of the mind, but of course the heart is different. There is the conscious and the unconscious. Using your mind you don't get far, but using your heart they pour knowledge.
He said, “Oh no, I will help you.”
She put the basket on the ground, but Sayyidina `Ali (r) was not able to take up that small basket higher than his knees! Then it immediately came to him, “This old lady is dunya.”
And Prophet (s) said:
أنا مدينة العلم و علي بابه
Anaa madinatu 'l-`ilmi wa `Aliyyun baabuha.
I am the City of Knowledge and `Ali is its Door (or Gate). (al-Haakim, Tirmidhi)
What comes to his heart is true and from Prophet (s), and it came to his heart, “Yaa `Ali, this is dunya. That old lady represented that the dunya is ending soon. She was carrying the whole dunya and you, `Ali, were able to carry this whole dunya up to your knees!”
Look at his power! With its mountains, Allah (swt) made dunya to be in a basket. So that’s faith: if you believe in the story there is faith and if you don’t believe it means there is no faith. And al-imaan bi ‘l-ghayb, imaan is to believe in the Unseen. If Allah wants to make something seen to someone and not to others, you cannot deny the Unseen. If Allah wants and shows someone the Unseen, you cannot deny it as that one can see it and you cannot. That is why Awliyaullah take their knowledge from the heart of the Prophet (s), `Uloom al-Awwaleen wa ‘l-Akhireen, the Knowledge of Before and the Knowledge of After, then they can see what people cannot see! That is not from us, that is a Holy Hadith of the Prophet (s), a very strong Hadith, muttafaqun `alayh, agreed upon.
Allah will give you hearing that no one else can hear it! We are not going into that discussion...you can hear and see and act; that is how Awliyaullah know what is going to happen and they can advise you.
The Prophet (s) said:
ستكون فتن كقطع الليل المظلم
Sa-takunoo fitanan ka-qita`ti 'l-layli 'l-muzhlim.
There will be confusion like a chunk of dark nights.
“There will be fitna in the Last Days like chunks of dark nights,” like when you look at the sky and there are no stars, no light. Prophet (s) said, “There will be fitna in the Last Days like this dark night.” When he says ‘dark nights’ that means zhulmah, injustice, that is now coming on everyone; in Arabic we call it “dark nights” in which you have to be very careful because shayaateen run at night. That is why the Prophet (s) used that word to explain it, “There will be fitna like chunks of dark nights”, which means so much fitna, and that is what we are seeing now.
So, to where we arrived? The Prophet (s) said, “If you accept the orders of Allah and obey, He will open for you what people cannot see and give you hearing what people cannot hear.” Do we have that? No, so it means we need what? Faith! There are sincere, pious servants who have that because Allah gave it to them. So what we need? We need faith, but faith in whom?
Today, faith is in this one and that one, where the signs of a hypocrite are three:
آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلاثٌ : إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ , وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ , وَإِذَا اؤْتُمِنَ خَانَ
Aayatu ’l-munaafiqu thalaatha: idhaa haddatha kadhab, wa idhaa wa`ada akhlaf, wa idhaa ‘tumina khaan.
The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks he lies, and when he makes a promise he breaks it, and when he is charged with a trust, he deceives. (Bukhari)
1. If he speaks he lies. Do you think that people are not lying on each other today? Prophet (s) is describing, “With all this (sinning), O my Ummah, Allah sent you as the best of Ummahs! Allah loved you, made you with me, chose you to be with me.” SubhaanAllah! `Alamaat al-munaafiq thalaath: we don't want to say I am or you are, but there is hypocrisy in our lives today and if people talk they lie.
2. If you trust them they betray you.
3. If they promise you they pull their promise back, idhaa wa`ada akhlaf, they don't keep their promise.
Is this what you see today? So where is faith? So that neighbor wanted faith and he went to Sayyidina Musa (a) and said, “I want faith. Alhamdulillah I don't want anything else, I am eating, drinking, I am praying, doing my obligations, but I want faith.” So Sayyidina Musa (a) went to Mount Sinai and finished asking Allah for what he needed to ask, and then at the end said, “Yaa Rabb! My neighbor is requesting faith,” and Allah revealed directly to his heart, as he does not need Jibreel (a) as an intermediary since he is Kaleemullah, Allah (swt) said to him, “Go tell him that I am sending him one atom, dharrah of faith,” which in Arabic is the smallest you can imagine.
Sayyidina Musa (a) said, “Dharrah, only that small one?”
Allah said, “That is enough.”
So he went back and went to his neighbor, knocked on the door and there was no answer, so he pushed the door and went in. There he saw the man in his mihrab praying, as if he had lifted his arms to takbeer, to say “Allahu Akbar”, and he was frozen. Musa pushed the man, his neighbor, saying, “Wake up, I have good tidings for you,” and he pushed him again, saying, “O my neighbor, wake up!” and then he heard a Voice saying, “O Musa, even if you grind him to pieces, every piece is going to say, ‘Allah, Allah,’ that I am sending him faith and that is only one atom, a dharrah. What do you want more than that? More than that this whole universe will disappear!”
Were Allah (swt) to send perfect faith from Heavens, which means you are in the Divine Presence as they take you there and you see what cannot be seen, we could not carry it due to too much fitna. Look, for Sayyidina Musa (a), Allah gave a dharrah of faith, but look at what Allah gave to Ummat an-Nabi (s):
Sayyidina `Umar (r) relates: I was sitting with the Prophet (s) and the Prophet (s) said, anbiyoonee bi afdali ahli ‘l-imaani imaanan? “Can you tell me who has the best imaan?” The Sahaabah thought and they said, “It is the angels.” The Prophet (s) said, “How are angels not going to have the best imaan when they are in Paradise and they see Allah and what He gives them? No, it is someone else.” And they said, “The anbiya.” Prophet (s) said, “What prevents them to have imaan when they see prophecy and Jibreel (a) is coming to them?” And they said, “Ash-shuhadaa, the martyrs who fought for Allah's sake and were with their prophets.” And the Prophet (s) said, “Of course they have that, hum ka-dhaalika wa yahiqqu lahum, they were given shahaada by Allah.” In another narration they then said, “Your Sahaabah, yaa Nabiyullah.” The Prophet (s) said, “How are my Companions not going to have faith when I am speaking with them and they speak with me?” Then the Prophet (s) said, “Aqwaamun fee aslaabi ’r-rijaal, men who are unborn, they are in the backs of their fathers in sperm form. I am seeing them.” The Prophet (s) saw them, because he said, aqwaamun fee aslaabi ’r-rijaal, “they are still in the sperm position, waiting to appear. They never saw me, but they see papers, yajidoona al-waraqa al-mu`alaq fa y`amaloona bimaa feehi, “They will find papers,” (in that time paper was made of animal hides, leather or leaves), “they will see it hanging and verses of Qur’an have been written in it, and they accept and they do what has been ordered for them to do on these hanging pages.” Fa ya`maloonaa bimaa feehi, “They do according to what is written there.” (al-Haakim, al-Bazaaz, as-Suyuti)
“They come after me and they believe in me, but they did not ever see me, but they see the Holy Qur’an and they will do according to what is written in Holy Qur’an. Those are the best of people on Earth.”
To whom did the Holy Qur'an come? Allah gave it to Prophet (s) for his Ummah. This is you, this is the Ummah! Look how much is Allah's love that the Prophet (s) said, “They are the best that Allah created,” which is Ummat an-Nabi (s)! With all that we are doing of killings and lying and spying and all kinds of bad manners, still Allah’s love is with us! So the question is, how to eliminate that? It is very simple. In Washington they are writing and writing and writing position papers and research, all around the world, checking, doing their duty, but the Prophet (s) brought it in two words:
Before the Hour comes, there will be a tribulation like patches of dark night. A man will get up a believer and go to sleep a kafir, or will go to sleep a believer and get up an unbeliever, kafir. The one who sits will be better than one who stands and one who walks will be better than one who runs. Break your bows, cut their strings and strike your swords against stones. If someone comes to kill any of you, then be like the better of the two sons of Adam. (Narrated Abu Musa al-Ash`aree, Abu Dawud.)
Sa-takoonu fitanun ka-qita` al-laylati ’l-muzhlim. What do you do? Sit at home: al-qaa`idu feehaa khayrun min al-qaa’im (al-waaqif), the one sitting in that time is better than the one moving. It doesn’t mean to sit at home all the time, but don’t participate in these problems. Al-qaa`idu feehaa khayrun min al-qaa’im (al-waaqif), “The one sitting is better than the one standing and trying to participate.” That is what Prophet (s) is saying, and al-waaqifu feehaa khayrun min al-maashee, “The one standing is better than the one who is walking.” This is what we see today, is it not? This is what we are seeing around us and everyone wants to participate, to go and see what is happening, correct? But the less you are involved the better, because you relax and then you don’t need doctors, psychiatrists. So what do we need to do? The Prophet (s) said to the Sahaabah and to us in this Hadith:
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إذا مررتم برياض الجنة فارتع. قالو وما رياض الجنة؟ قال "حلق الذكر"
Qaala Rasoolullah (s) idhaa marartum bi-riyaada ’l-jannatu farta`oo. Qaaloo wa maa riyaadyou ’l-jannah? Qaala hilaq adh-dhikr.
Ibn `Umar reported that the Prophet (s) said: "When you pass by the Gardens of Paradise, avail yourselves of them." The Companions asked: "What are the Gardens of Paradise, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: "The circles of dhikr.” (Tirmidhi)
“If you pass by the Heavenly Gardens, sit.” And the Sahaabah (r) said, “Yaa Rasoolullah! We are in dunya, we are not in Heavens yet. Are there Gardens of Heaven in dunya?” Yes, of course there are! Do we see any garden? We know of one, that is the rawdatan min riyaadh al-jannah that Prophet (s) mentioned in his Hadith, the Rawdat an-Nabi (s), the Garden of Prophet (s) where we go as pilgrims for Hajj, that place is part of Heaven. But Prophet (s) said, “Idhaa marartum bi-riyaada ’l-jannatu farta`oo”, which means there are others like it, not at that level as what is in Madinatu ‘l-Munawwarah, but which might have the fragrance of that one. “If you pass by riyaad al-jannah,” he used plural tense as there are many around the world and you have to find them, “then sit in them.” And the Sahaabah (r) asked, “And what are these Gardens of Heaven? We are on Earth, yaa Rasoolullah?” And the Prophet (s) said, “They are the Circles of Dhikr, hilaq adh-dhikr,” that you are in today, this is a Circle of Dhikr.
Ask the psychiatrist (here), what medicine they are giving their patients? The medicine is to sit in dhikrullah and they don't need more. They did studies in Malaysia about vibrations of the brain, all its fiery vibrations; they call it ‘gossip inspiration’ when things come through the mind that make you busy, and they put people in circles of dhikrullah and let them listen and after a while they said it began to drop those fiery vibrations that go from hundreds per second from the unconscious to conscious, hearing voices, etc., not memorizing well, then it goes down to 7-14 vibrations per minute by sitting and listening to dhikr or reading the Hadith of Prophet (s). That also is the age to memorize well, from 7-14 years and that is why children can memorize easily. Give him some tablets, no memory, but there is something in dhikrullah that makes your mind fresh and you can memorize when the vibrations drop.
Allah Will Mention You in His Divine Presence
Why did the Prophet (s) tell Sahaabah (r), "When you pass by Gardens of Paradise, not one but many, sit and make dhikr with them.” What is in them? There are many ayaat on dhikrullah in Holy Qur’an, but what do you get to make that place a garden? What did the Prophet (s) say in another Hadith? Allah says in a very strong Holy Hadith:
أَنَا جَلِيْسُ مَنْ ذَكَرَنِي
Anaa jaleesu man dhakaranee.
I sit with him who remembers Me. (Hadith Qudsi. Ahmad, Bayhaqi)
Wa anaa ma`ahu idhaa dhakaranee, fa in dhakaranee fee nafsihi dhakartahu fee nafsee wa man dhakaranee fee malaa’in dhakartahu fee malaa’in khayran minhu.
I am with him when he mentions Me. If he mentions Me to himself, I mention him to Myself, and if he mentions Me in an assembly, I mention him in an assembly better than it. (Hadith Qudsi)
“I am sitting with the one who remembers Me.” Who is the best to sit with? Not physically sitting, but spiritually, to feel the nearness of what Allah (swt) is dressing you with when you sit for dhikr; it means He is dressing you with different anwaar al-haqq, Manifestations of different Noor; we cannot say it means sitting physically as that is kufr. But Allah says, “I am sitting with the one who remembers Me and I remember him in a better association than his.” That is not comparable: one is heavenly and the other is worldly. Allah will mention your name in His Presence! If your name is mentioned by angels, if Allah makes angels mention your name, what does that mean? It means you are honored: it means He will give you according to your capacity vision and hearing that no one has, as not everyone receives the same. Now that tajalli, the Manifestation of Allah's Noor is coming down! Don't think everyone sees the same, as this one might have a different manifestation coming, and that one is different, and that one is different. Allah is not poor! He has treasures that no one knows and He gives from these treasures.
That is why He made angels give salawaat on the Prophet (s) and make us do salawaat and learn from them. And each salawaat on the Prophet (s) is different, and so every dhikrullah you make is with a different noor than the next person and every person gets his own private manifestation not resembling the other! On Judgment Day you will appear with that dress, those noors will appear. If you sit in dhikrullah every day you will have unlimited numbers of dresses; every time you sit that noor is different and appears on Judgment Day! That is why Awliyaullah give you an awraad to recite daily, so when you recite one day you get different knowledge, different lights and different meanings, different presence. All that is due to these kinds of circles. When you increase these in your community, like today people only sit in circles of `ilm, which is good, but they don't sit in circles of dhikrullah, some do and some do not. Ahlu ‘s-Sunnah wa 'l-Jama'ah sit in the majalis of salawat `ala an-Nabi (s) and that is dhikrullah.
Inna-Llaaha wa malaa'ikatahu yusalloona `ala 'n-nabiyy, yaa ayyuha ’Lladheena aamanoo salloo `alayhi wa sallimoo tasleema.
Verily, Allah and His angels send praise on the Prophet. O Believers! Pray upon him and greet him with a worthy salutation. (Surat al-'Ahzaab, 33:56)
Defeat ISIS with Dhikrullah!
So if they want this problem to finish, the Muslim Ummah must sit in their places and do dhikrullah. It’s not about non-Muslims! If they want to finish that problem of ISIS in Iraq, one wali can turn them upside down! One jinn by order of a wali can turn them upside down! They don't need weapons and they don't need a coalition or anything, but Muslims are very far away from these powers, from that belief and that faith. They must increase their faith to understand and believe, as Sayyidina Sulayman (a) asked one `ifreet min al-jinn, of the highest order of devils, not mu’min, the strong one to bring the throne of Sheba.
Qaala `ifreetun min al-jinni anaa ateeka bihi qabla an taqoomu min maqaamik wa wa innee `alayhi la-qawiyyun ameen.
A bold one of the invisible beings (subject to Solomon) said, “I shall bring it to you before you rise from your council-seat. Verily, I am strong and trusty for such work.” (Surat an-Naml, 27:39)
That is one of strongest of devils and he said, “I will bring it before your gathering is over.”
Sulayman (a) said, “No, I need it quickly.”
Then his minister, `Asif ibn Barqiyya, said, “I will get it in the blink of an eye.”
Qaala alladhee `indahu `ilmun mina ‘l-kitaabi anaa ateeka beehi qabla an yartada ‘ilayka tarfuk.
Answered he who was illumined by Revelation, “I will bring it to you within the twinkling of an eye!”
(Surat an-Naml, 27:40)
He said one servant who has some knowledge from the Book said, “I will bring it to you before your eyes blink,” and that was one who knew only some of the book of Sulayman (Psalms, not Holy Qur’an, the book of Prophet [s]). One blink and the Throne was there! Where are these people today? That is from the nation of Sayyidina Sulayman and Dawud (a), what do you think about the nation of Muhammad (s)? That jinn was able to do, that wali was able to do faster, where are they today? They are there, but look for them, they are hidden, they are not showing themselves. One of them can turn everything upside down, but let Muslims go back to their sincerity and to their imaan.
Weapons Will Not Finish ISIS
Faith is what we lack, and faith can give you power and change everything to better. How they (ISIS) came? Suddenly where 30,000 or 40,000 soldiers appeared in one night, how did they appear? Too many conspiracies they say, or they say, “We don't know.” Who was behind it? To stop them is to do only one thing: hilaq adh-dhikr. Go to masaajid or in your homes, remember Allah daily and Allah (swt) will take them in one second! They are in the Syria and the Iraqi desert, and Allah can send one sandstorm and finish them! We finish them by Holy Qur'an and Hadith: that is what Muslims have to believe in, not to finish them by using weapons, which are dangerous for everyone. We are Ahlu ‘s-Sunnah wa ‘l-Jama`ah and we believe in the power of Awliyaullah that Allah granted to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and he gave to his Awliya:
أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Alaa inna awliyaaullaahi laa khawfun `alayhim wa laa hum yahzanoon.
Behold! Verily on the Friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve. (Surah Yunus, 10:62)
Where are the Awliya Now and Why Don’t They Stand Up?
Laa khawfun `alayhim, don’t worry about them as Allah gave them everything they want, but let them ask! I am asking Awliyaullah, where are they now, why are they not standing up? There is hikmah also, wisdom. Before Allah used to send `adhaab, punishment, by earthquake, by flood, but the Prophet (s) asked Allah (swt), “Don't let my Ummah die from an earthquake,” and Allah said, “Yes”, and “not to die from flood,” and Allah said, “Yes”, and he asked, “Let them not die from fighting each other,” and Allah said, “No, that one I don't grant, wa yudheeqa ba`dakum baasa ba`din, We will make both sides to taste the worst it can be.”
Wa yudheeqa ba`dakum baasa ba`din.
Or to confound you with mutual discord and let you taste the fear of one another. (Surat al-An`am, 6:65)
Allah is sending His punishment. May Allah take back His punishment from the Ahlu ‘l-Islam, because they are the ones punished today, is there anyone else? They are punished because of what they are doing. Awliya are waiting to help, but no one...maybe now people are changing their minds to believing in Awliyaullah. Before they were hidden, so look for Awliya and you will find some.
Wa min Allahi ‘t-tawfeeq bi hurmati ‘l-Fatihah.
