Visitors Ask About the Upcoming Hajj

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem.

It’s a famous method (to calculate a date). I don't know if this year the crescent will be visible, but so many times I have found Shaykh Abdul-Qadir Jilani's (r) method correct, which is to count five days back from the first day of the past Ramadan. So if last Ramadan started on Saturday, then Saturday will be the first day of both the Islamic Year and Eid ul-Adha. The three events occur on the same day of the week: the day of slaughtering, Eid ul-Adha, the first day of Ramadan and the first day of the Islamic calendar.

This year will be Hajj al-Akbar. Allahu Akbar! Mashaa-Allah. We don't know what the order from the Lord of Heavens will be. Inshaa-Allah Ramadan Mubarak to you for the appearance of Sayyidina Mahdi (a). For this we ask for a Hajj al-Akbar so that he may appear according to the honor he has been granted, on the day of `Arafat on a Friday.

There are signs for this, but now there are doubts for the start of Ramadan, so people are not rushing there for Hajj, otherwise they would. However, by divine wisdom, `Arafat will be on Saturday in Mecca. If it is Saturday, that would cancel Hajj al-Akbar. The One who arranges this in Heaven is Allah (swt) so that people may not rush (to the pilgrimage), as they are waiting for the appearance of Sayyidina Mahdi (a) on `Arafat day if it is on Friday; that is the condition for his appearance. The matter is in Allah’s (swt) hands. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem.

Fatihah.
