O mu’mins! O believers! May Allah (swt) keep us on the way of Rasoolullah (s) and the way of his companions. The Seal of Prophets, may Allah (swt)’s prayers and blessings be upon him and his holy family and companions, said, the people before you that had books revealed to them--that means the Injeel, the Bible and the Torah. They separated into 72 groups, the People of the Book. He said, my Ummah, my followers, the ones who claim to follow Muhammad (s), the ones who claim to follow the final message, which sums up all the messages. All the messages are in the final message that has not been changed, so people can have something true until the end of time, until Judgement Day.

The Prophet (s) said, “My nation will separate into 73 groups.” There are 73 different ways that Ummat Muhammad (s), the Muslims, follow. The Muslims that live now in the world are following 73 different ways, saying, “This is the way to follow the Prophet.” He said, all of them are in Naar, Fire except one way. Not all of the Muslims that you see around are on the right way. The People of the Book that you see around, not all of them are on the right way. They have separated into 70 plus different ways and each one of them is saying, “We are on the right way.”

They asked, “Yaa Rasoolullah. Who is on the right way?” Out of the nation of Rasoolullah (s), out of the Muslims, 72 groups are on the wrong way. The wrong way to where? The wrong way to Paradise and the right way to Jahannam. He (s) replied, maa anaa `alayhi wa as-haabee. The ones who are on what I am on. The ones who are on what my companions are on.

How do you know who are on the way Rasoolullah (s) was on? Who has the `ilm nowadays? They lived 1400 plus years ago. Who knows? We are reading about it, but they actually lived it. Rasoolullah (s) said, “Whoever is on the way I and my Companions are on is on the right way. They are the right group. There is one group out of 73.”

When you see somebody who says he is a Muslim, don’t automatically think that he is on the right way. He might be on the wrong way. How do you know? Where do you start? Rasoolullah (s) was on the way that Allah (swt) showed him. What is the way? How can you summarize the way to Allah (swt) that was revealed to Rasoolullah (s)? You start somewhere, but where, O Christian, O Jew, O Muslim?

The ones who claim monotheism, to believe in One Lord of Heavens, where do you start? How do you know you are on the way of your Messenger, the Seal of Prophets (s)? Start somewhere.

Have you ever heard of Maliki Yawmu ‘d-Deen, O Muslim? What is Maliki Yawmu ‘d-Deen? Mashaa-Allah, so many Muslims read Fatiha and come across Maliki Yawmu ‘d-Deen. The Ultimate Ruler on the Day of Justice. The Ultimate Decider on the Day of Recompensation. The One Who has no match or no equal. Nobody rules with Him on the Resurrection Day. Have you ever heard of the Day of Resurrection, O Christians? Of course they have. Have you ever heard of the Apostles’ Creed? If you don’t know, read it. All the Christians believe in that. Among other things that believe in is that there is a resurrection of the body, resurrection of the dead and life everlasting. They believe in the Day of Resurrection.

How about the Jews? The Jews believe in the resurrection of the dead. How about the Muslims? They believe in the resurrection of the dead. What happens on the Day of Resurrection? Are you a president there? No, you’re not a president. Are you a king there? No, you’re not a king. Are you a ruler there? No, you’re not. Are you a judge on that Day? No.

Who’s the Judge on that Day? Who’s the Ultimate Judge on the Day of Resurrection, O the followers of monotheistic religions? Mashaa-Allah, everybody believes in the One God. Okay, you believe in the One God. What is Maliki Yawmu ‘d-Deen? The people who think they are rulers are rulers over some but not all humans. They are rulers over the ones who are alive but not on the dead. The people who think they are rulers have a beginning to their rule and an end to their rule. That is your rule. The One Who has no end to His Rule is your Lord, Allah (swt).

What happens on Yawmu ‘d-Deen? Do you bring it to your mind, O believer of whatever monotheistic faith you are following? Christian, Jew and Muslim, do you bring it to your minds what will be on the Day of Resurrection? What will happen on the Day of Resurrection? Allah (swt) will reward you. They say there is jazaa. What is jazaa? Recompensation. If you do work or a job, there is a return for it. We have to give you something.

What did you do? You have to think, “What am I doing?” The way of Rasoolullah (s) is bringing Maliki Yaumu ‘d-Deen in the head and in the heart. What happens on Maliki Yaumu ‘d-Deen? If you disobey your Ruler, what happens to you? Destruction and death. What happens if you disobey the King of kings, the Ruler of all rulers, the Ultimate Ruler? Also, destruction.

If you want to have a good way out of your misery on the Day of Judgment, you have to obey the King of kings. O king! O president! O prime minister! You have to obey the One Who has created you, the Lord of Heavens. People have to obey their king. As the people have to obey their king, the king has to obey the King of kings. When you obey the King of kings and follow what He has sent you, this world will be in perfect order because Allah (swt) is the Perfect One. His perfect ruling is by His Justice. Allah (swt), the Creator, has said, asta`eedh billah:

وَنَضَعُ ٱلْمَوَٰزِينَ ٱلْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَـٰسِبِينَ

Wa nada`u ‘l-mawazeena ‘l-qista li Yawmu ‘l-Qiyamah falaa tuzhlamoo nafsun shayan wa in kaana mithqaala habbatin min khardalin atayna bihaa wa kafaa binaa haseeba.

We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least, and if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account. (Surat al-Anbiya, 21:47)

We will put the accurate scales, not cheating, on the Day of Judgement. No soul will be wronged. No one will suffer injustice. Everybody’s actions will be weighed. If you have done good, you will be happy.

Wa yanqalibu ila ahlihi masroora.

And he will turn to his people, rejoicing! (Surat al-Inshiqaq, 84:9)

He will return to his family, happy. But if you have done bad, you will go the other way.

Think, O human being that follows the faith, the belief in the Lord of Heavens Who has created you. Think of the Day of Resurrection. It’s in your beliefs. You claim you’re following your books. Why don’t you follow the staple of all beliefs? God created you and God will ask you. If they just take, “Maliki Yaumu ‘d-Deen” or understand what the Day of Resurrection will be, they will all weigh their actions before they do them.

Rasoolullah (s) has said, on the Day of Judgement the ruler will be thrown on the bridge of Jahannam. The bridge of Jahannam will shake with the ruler on top. It is going to shake so violently that no joints will remain in place. If he was obedient to Allah (swt) in his amal, his actions and deeds, he will continue on the bridge. But if he was disobedient in his actions to the Lord of Heavens, that bridge will break from under him and he will fall into Jahannam 50 years’ distance. He will free fall for 50 years until you find your station down there, your coffin, until you find your fellow friends waiting for you. They are all in coffins, O waali, ruler!

Who do you talk to? Everybody is following their desires, Muslims, non-Muslims. Nobody is thinking about the Day of Resurrection. It might be tomorrow. How do you know? Allah (swt) said:

Akaadu ukhfeeha. “I am hardly covering it, concealing it so people don’t know so they do every action as their best action.”

"Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. (Surah Ta-Ha, 20:15)

When you don’t know when the Day of Judgement is or when your death hour is, you will always be on your best behavior.

O insaan! Come back. O human being! O Christian, O Jew, O Muslim! You believe in the Day of Resurrection. It’s in your beliefs. Come back to your Lord. Ask Him to guide you to do the right thing. Allah (swt) is Al-Adil, The Just. Rasoolullah (s) said, give everybody their rights. Come back. Where are you going? They’re going into the abyss, the pit of fire, and they’re taking everybody with them except the ones that the Lord of Heavens takes back and protects.

Inshaa-Allah, we are among the protected ones. We have no power, we have no say but we remind people of the Heavenly messages that came through Rasoolullah (s) and through Sayyidina Isa (a) and through Sayyidina Musa (a) and through Sayyidina Ibrahim (a). They came with the same message: you were created by your Lord, the Lord of Heavens and earth, and you will stand in front of Him so it is better to suit up, it is better to stand in front of Him in a good way.

Who is the deceived one? Ana ’d-dayyaana yuhasibuhu falaa yu sahhihu hujjatahu. The dayyaan, the one that will give you your rewards or your recompensation, He will account for what you have done. He does not correct His excuse. What excuse do we have, yaa Rabbee? We all make mistakes. He likes you to come back to Him. Say, “O my Lord! I have done wrong. I want to correct things.” Why don’t you ask that, O human being? Why don’t you come back from the way of destruction to the way of justice and peace and doing good to humanity? Allah (swt) said:

Deaf, dumb, and blind, they will not return (to the path) (Surat al-Baqarah, 2:18)

They are deaf. They don’t hear Kalaamu ‘l-Haqq. They are blind. They are mute. They don’t speak. They will never come back. They will never return. Don’t be a deaf one, O human being. Listen to the heavenly messages.

It is said that all the heavenly messages, all the `uloom, all the knowledge is in the four books. All the knowledge of the four books is in the last book, the Holy Qur’an. All of the knowledge of the Qur’anu ‘l-Kareem is in Surah Al-Fatiha. Allah (swt) is saying: Anaa khalaqtuka fa anaa ilaahun, “I created you. I am Allah (swt). I am a God.”

They call on gods. What did they create? What did the statues they worship create? What did they create? Look. Allah (swt) says, I created you. I am God. I brought you up. I took care of your upbringing from when you were an embryo all the way to when you became a big man or a big woman.

Fa anaa Rabbun. I am Lord, Sustainer, Provider. I am Rabb. You disobeyed. I concealed. Fa ana Rahmanun. I am a Compassionate One. You repented and I forgave you because I am Raheem, Ana Raheem, the Most Merciful One. Thumma laa budda min al jaza’ee fa dhalika Maliki Yawmu ‘d-Deen. Then there should be recompensation. That is, Alhamdulillah. Yaa Rabbee. Thank You. You created me. You are Allah (swt). Rabbi ‘l-`Alameen. You brought me up since I was a little embryo all the way to this time. You are certainly the One Who took care of me, Sustainer, Provider. You are Rabb, Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem. I have disobeyed and You have concealed. You are Most Compassionate. I asked forgiveness and You forgave. You are Raheem. But then, Maliki Yawmu ‘d-Deen. Certainly I will stand in front of You and You will deliver Your verdict and Your Order cannot be chewed up. Your Order will take its way.

Understand Fatiha. If you understand Fatiha, you have understood everything. Everybody reads but no one knows what they’re reading. They don’t know how many raka`ats they prayed. They don’t know what they have said. They are all summun, bukmun,` umyun.

Don’t be like that, O insaan. Don’t be deaf, mute and blind. Wake up. O Jew, O Christian, O Muslim! Wake up.
