Ziyara to the Nine Prophets of India

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani

4 January 2015 Chandigarh, India (2)

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.

All of the prophets at that time were very tall [referring to the huge size of the graves]; Sayyidina Musa (a) was very tall and before him, all of them were very tall. They lived long lives. There were many Anbiya (prophets) in the world at the same time and in the area of Palestine. There were twelve Anbiya in Sayyidina Ya`qoob’s (a) time; they were all his children. In that time, Allah (swt) was granting the ummah lots of Anbiya and that is why He said in the Holy Qur’an that there are 124,000 Anbiya. Sayyidina Musa (a) saw them when he went into sajda.

He said, "O my Lord! Show Yourself to me that I may look upon You." Allah said, "By no means can you see Me (directly), but look upon the mountain: if it abides in its place, then you shall see Me." When his Lord manifested His glory on the mount, He made it as dust and Moses fainted. (Surat al-`Araaf, 7:143)

Musa fell into prostration. (Surat al-`Araaf, 7:143)

[According to the Tafsir of Sayyidina Ibn `Abbas (r) for this verse,] when Sayyidina Musa (as) awoke, he saw Sayyidina Muhammad (s) was imaam for all the Anbiya. He saw the Prophet (s) standing with all Anbiya behind him, praying with him. Some of them we know, and:

وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ

Some we did not tell you about (yaa Muhammad). (Surat Ghaafir, 40:78)

But in reality, the Prophet (s) knows `Uloom al-Awwaleen wa ’l-Akhireen. He knows there were Anbiya everywhere, because they were barakah for Earth. So now, as there is no more barakah and ignorance and killing is everywhere, Allah (swt) ended all Anbiya by the coming of the Prophet, Seal of Prophets (s).

(Recite Kalimat ash-Shahaadah)

Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasooluh.

Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasooluh.

Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasooluh.

When I was here last time, I was told there are 24 prophets but the known who are here are nine. Research is being done on trying to locate the 13 other prophets. SubhaanAllah, you can feel the spiritual roohaaniya when you come here!

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, haa’oolaa’i Anbiya Allah. Allah has sent them either as a prophet or a messenger, meaning a prophet and a messenger. So Sayyidina Muhammad (s) is a prophet and a messenger. There are 313 who are prophets and messengers. And 124,000 only as prophets, not messengers. Some of those who are buried here are messengers for India. Allah know best, we do not know. But we can say as they said, when Allah informed them that when the last messenger comes, all of them will be under him. Where the Prophet (s) said:

‏‏أنا سيد ولد آدم ولا فخر

I am the Master (leader) of the Children of Adam and I say this with no arrogance. (Musnad Ahmad)

Adam and who is under Adam is under my flag on Judgment Day.

So these Anbiya, mashaa-Allah, are under the flag of the Prophet (s). [Du`a] Fatihah. How many visitors come here? SubhaanAllah, Allah granted us to see them and visit them, This is a grant from Allah (swt), so what do we have to say?

Shukran lillah, shukran lillah, shukran lillah, astaghfirullah, subhaanAllah, wa ‘l-hamdulillah wa laa ilaaha illa-Llah w’Allahu Akbar, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem.

SubhaanAllah wa bi hamdihi subhaanAllahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem astaghfirullah.

SubhaanAllah wa bi hamdihi subhaanAllahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem astaghfirullah.

SubhaanAllah wa bi hamdihi subhaanAllahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem astaghfirullah.

The Prophet (s) said:

كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان ثقيلتان فى الميزان سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان الله العلي العظيم

There are two words that are very easy to say, yet very heavy on the Scale: SubhaanAllah wa bihamdihi subhaanAllahi ’l-`Azheem.

This will make our sayyi’aat (bad deeds) go and our hasanaat strong. May Allah (swt) forgive us and bless us. I will not keep you too long, as it is cold. [Mawlana places the chaddar on the holy graves.]
