?????????? ?????? ???????????? ?????????? ????????? ???????? ???????

Ati`oollaha wa ati`oo 'r-Rasoola wa ooli 'l-amri minkum.

Obey Allah, obey the Prophet, and obey those in authority among you. (Surat an-Nisa, 4:59)

O Muslims! I am not that one who can speak. I come for the honor of the owner of the house, who honored us by inviting us here and reciting Mawlid an-Nabi (s). What do we benefit from reciting the Mawlid? The benefit is not simple: we reach Qaaba Qawsayni aw Adnaa upon reciting the Mawlid. Allah (swt) ordered all angels in all Paradises to make salawaat ihtifaalan, celebrating the coming of Prophet (s) to Qaaba Qawsayni aw Adnaa!

So as soon as we say, “Yaa Rabbee, today we are going to make a Mawlid for the love of Prophet (s),” rest assured Allah (swt) will dress you with magnificent dresses from the Seven Heavens, in which He dressed angels when they greeted Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! We have come here to this house today--may Allah bless this house and its owner and their family--and we see the house is adorned with very beautiful curtains, doors, and people. What is all this adornment for? To say, “My house is alive and I am inviting you to a nice environment.” What do you think then about Allah (swt), when He ordered angels to decorate the Heavens for receiving Sayyidina Muhammad (s)? Allah decorated the Heavens with heavenly adornments and that day was `Eid for all the inhabitants of Heaven, an `Eid that was never seen before and will never be seen again until the Day of Judgment, when that `Eid will come another time~

When Allah (swt) will send Prophet (s) with his ummah to Paradise, all the Paradises will be decorated with Allah’s Light:

??????? ????? ????????????? ??????????? ?????? ??????? ??????????? ?????? ?????????

Allaahu nooru 's-samaawaati wa 'l-ardi mathala noorihi ka-mishkaatin feehaa misbaah.

Allah is the Light of the Heavens and Earth. The parable of His Light is as if there were a niche and within it a lamp. (Surat an-Noor, 24:35)

Did that Noor appear yet? There have been very few traces, but the whole Noor is waiting for Prophet (s) and his ummah for the Day when no one will dare to stand before Allah (swt) except for Sayyidina Muhammad (s)!

`indaha yasjudu sajdatan wa yadru bi du`a’in lam yad`oo bihi qabl wa yulhimuhullaha yaftahu `ala qalbihi minal adi`ya ’L-latee ya`tarifuha fee hayaatih wa yabqaa saajidan hatta yaqoolullahu ta`ala lahu, ‘Yaa Muhammad, irfa`a raasak sal t`ut`a,’ yaqoolo ‘Yaa Rabbee ureedoo ummatee,’ `ala khudh ummatik.

No one can stand on that Day in front of Allah's Divine Presence except Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and when he will go into sajda, Allah (swt) will open to him du`a that He never opened before in dunya. What kind of du`a? Ask the scholars! O Muslims, what kind of du`a? Prophet (s) said, “Allah will open to my heart du`a that He never opened before.” Here, “before” means from the time Allah first created the Light of the Prophet (s), as Jabir (r) related when he asked, “What did Allah create first?” and Prophet said:

??? ?? ??? ???? ??? ???? ?? ????

Awwala maa khalaqa-Allahu noora Nabiyyika,  yaa Jaabir.

The first thing Allah created is the Light of your Prophet (s), O Jaabir.

He was created from the Name of Allah “an-Noor.” And do not think that the Prophet (s) was not in sajda when his Light was first created, no! His Light was in sajda then and will remain in sajda until the Day of Judgment making du`a! So from the moment the Light of the Prophet (s) was created and until the Day of Judgment, Prophet (s) is continuously making du`a. Prophet (s) said, “Allah will open to my heart du`a that He never opened before.”

Ask scholars, what is that du`a? No one knows except Prophet (s)! And he knows at that moment. It is the `azamatullah, that Allah has no partner, He is the Creator and Sayyidina Muhammad (s) is His sincere Servant. But He said, “Allah will open for me du`a that was never opened before.” We are reciting thousands of qasidas and du`as in Arabic. In what language is that du`a, how are the letters arranged and what words are formed from it? It is a language that is unknown! Such as in the Holy Qur'an there is a language that no one knows.

When Jibreel (a) came to the Prophet (s) revealing Surat al-Maryam, he said, “Kaf,” the Prophet (s) said, “`Alimtu.” Then he said, “Ha,” and the Prophet (s) said, “`Alimtu.” He said, “Ya,” Prophet (s) said, ‘`Alimtu,” he said, “`Ayn,” Prophet (s) answered, “`Alimtu.” He then said, “Sad,” and the Prophet again answered, “`Alimtu.” Prophet (s) knew what is coming with Kaf, as he said “`Alimtu.” What is that knowledge that he knew? So this means there is an ocean of knowledge that no one knows except for the Prophet (s). When Jibreel (a) said “Kaf,” can any scholar raise his head and say “I know?”

So the knowledge of scholars is merely a drop in the ocean of the knowledge of Prophet (s). We can't say they have no `ilm because they studied, but on the other hand, the knowledge of awliyaullah is different. Allah (swt) poured knowledge into their hearts so they don’t need to study. Studying gives you `Ilm al-Awraq, “Knowledge of Papers.” As Ibn `Ajeeba (q), one of the biggest scholars, said, “There is Knowledge of Paper and Knowledge of Taste.” So when Jibreel (a) said “Kaf,” Prophet (s) already knew everything behind that Kaf.

What is Kaf? Allah said in Holy Qur'an:

???????? ????? ????????? ??????? ?????? ???????? ???? ??????? ?????????? ????? ????? ????????? ??????????

Faaoow ila ‘l-kahfi yanshur lakum rabbukum min rahmaatihi wa yuhayyi lakum min amrikum mirfaqa.

Betake yourselves to the cave. Your Lord will shower His mercies on you and dispose of your affair towards comfort and ease." (Surat al-Kahf, 18:16)

Do you want to be saved? Run to the cave! “Kaf” is the first letter of “al-Kahf” and it is a declaration saying, “Go to the treasures.”

??? ???? ?????? ?????? ?? ???? ????? ?????

Kuntu kanzan makhfiyyan fa ahbabtuhu an u`rafa fa khalaqtu ‘l-khalq.

I was a Hidden Treasure (and) I wanted to be known, so I created Creation.  (Hadith Qudsi)

So run to that cave to be safe, as that cave is Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! When you run to Sayyidina Muhammad (s), yanshur lakum rabbukum min rahmatihi, “From Himself, Allah will manifest His Rahmah.” And this is not even a drop of the meaning of one Kaf, but Allah gave some of this knowledge to notable scholars of the ummah and Prophet (s) inspired their hearts and they were able to explain some of the secrets in the abbreviations of these letters. As someone was telling me today about “E.W.R.” I did not know that it stands for “Engineering Wood Products.” It is an abbreviation of a huge manufacturing factory. An abbreviation in normal English letters, not even Arabic, holds many meanings behind it as millions in money and wood coming in and going out.

So what about when Allah (swt) said “Kaf” and Prophet (s) said “`Alimtu.” What is behind it and how big is it? Allah did not want anyone to know but Sayyidina Muhammad (s), which is why He gave the abbreviations. Prophet (s) was saying,“O Jibreel, I knew! That is between me and Allah. Although you are my intermediary, I have a direct connection!”

?? ???? ?? ???? ? ??  ???? ?? ?????

Lee sa`atun ma` Allah wa sa`atun ma` al-khalq.

I have one hour in the Divine Presence and one hour with the Creation.

How many times is Kaf repeated throughout the Holy Qur'an? When you bring all these abbreviations that come in Holy Qur'an, you will be dressed with the tajallis that come with them and you will appear with them on the Day of Judgement. Allah’s Mercy gives everything and unlike us, He is Generous. Alhamdulillah we are in a generous house, but even if this house was a thousand times bigger and would feed millions of people, that still cannot be compared to Allah's Generosity.

Allah (swt) is saying to Prophet (s), “Yaa Muhammad, what do you want?”

Yaa Rabbee, I want my ummah!”

“Take one-third of the ummah with no account to Paradise!”

So every letter in the Holy Qur'an has meanings. Even if you repeat the same letter of the alphabet many times in different words, each occurrence of the letter has a different meaning. The alif that is read once, does not have the same meaning the second time. And each time you repeat it, a new tajalli comes on it. For example, “Allah” has two lams; the first lam has one tajalli and the second has another. And if you repeat “Allah,” again a new tajalli comes. That is why adh-dhakireen Allah katheera wa adh-dhaakiraaat, Allah wants His servants to mention His Name repeatedly, as each time a different tajalli is coming.

????????????? ???????????? ???????????? ??? ????? ???????????

F ’adhkuroonee adhkurkum, w ’ashkuroo lee wa laa takfuroon.

Remember Me, I will remember you. Give thanks to Me and do not be ungrateful towards Me.

(Surat al-Baqarah, 2:152)

When you say “Laa ilaaha illa-Llahonce and then repeat it a second time, the tajalli of the second time will be different than the first. Allah (swt) is al-Ghani, “The Rich,” and we are the poor. Al-Ghani does not give the same gift twice, every time it is a different gift. So when you recite “Kaf,” whatever Allah has given to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) in that recitation, he doesn't want for himself but he dresses the ummah with it.

In what language is he going to make du`a? “Kaf, Ha, Ya ,`Ayn, Sad” is an abbreviated word that indicates a meaning behind it. When permission is given to open that secret on the Day of Judgment, it is going to become a word that has thousands and millions of meanings! These letters have a meaning, some say “we don't know,” but who knows? Sayyidina Muhammad (s). To whom was the Holy Qur’an revealed? Sayyidina Muhammad (s). Was it revealed with or without the meanings? Do you think Allah (swt) would give him a book and say, “Read this book” with no meanings or with all the meanings?

 ????? ???????? ??????????? ?????? ??????

Wa maa ya`alamu ta’aweelahu illa-Allah.

But no one knows its hidden meaning except Allah. (Surat Aali-`Imraan, 3:7)

Allah (swt) gave the Holy Qur’an to Prophet (s) with the ta’aweel, meanings, as He didn’t hide anything from Prophet (s)! Look at how his name is with Allah’s Name!

?????? ???????? ???? ???????? ??????????? ????? ???????? ??????? ??????? ???????? ??????????? ???? ????????

Alam nashrah laka sadraq, wa wada`na `anka wizrak, alladhee anqada zhahrak, wa rafa`ana laka dhikrak.

Did We not expanded for you your chest (O Muhammad), and We removed from you your burden which had weighed upon your back, and raised high for you your repute. (Surat ash-Sharh, 94:1-4)

Allah is saying, “I have put your name with My Name!” If you look at “Laa ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasoolullah you will see that “Allah” in “Laa ilaaha illa-Llah” is immediately followed by “Muhammad,” and you must say “Muhammadun Rasoolullah.” This means Sayyidina Muhammad (s) is the mirror that reflects all the knowledges coming from the Essence of the Reality of Allah (swt) to this universe! Allahumma salli `alayk yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah!

When you say “Yaa Allah,” that means there is no one to make sajda to except Allah, to show respect to Allah (swt). When He ordered the angels to make sajda, that was sajdatu ihtiram, sajda of respect to Adam (a), which was to the Light of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) shining in the forehead of Sayyidina Adam (a) he was carrying. And not only that, Allah ordered all the angels to make salawaat on the Prophet (s) as, “O My servants! Your salawaat is blended with dunya, but to give proper respect to Sayyidina Muhammad (s), I am ordering My angels (who are obedient and ma`soomeen, infallible) to make salawaat on the Prophet (s) as that is what he deserves!” Yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah, yaa Shafee`al-Muznibeen!

So in continuation of the hadith, then Sayyidina Muhammad (s) will make another sajda in Allah's (swt) Presence and He will open to his heart du`a that He never opened before, and Allah will say, “Raise your head and ask what you like.” Prophet (s) will ask, “My ummah!” Allah will say, “Take another one-third of the ummah without account to Paradise!” Then he will go into sajda a third time and make du`a that never came to his heart before and then Allah will say, “Raise your head and ask what you like!” And Prophet (s) will ask, “My ummah!” Allah will say, “Take another one-third of the ummah, except for one person who is the worst one.”

There will be just one person left. We are trained in Islam not to praise ourselves, as Sayyidina Abu Yazid al-Bistami (q) said, “I respect the elders as they have more worship than me and I respect the young as they are more pure and have less sins.” So always blame yourself. Then Allah (swt) will say to the worst one among the ummah, “Who do you think gave  Rahmah to My Beloved? It is Me! I am ar-Rahmaan, ar-Raheem, the Most Merciful of the Merciful! So I am not leaving you as I am the One Who can forgive anyone. You go into Paradise also, as you are from Ummat an-Nabi (s)!”

O Muslims! We are extremely fortunate! This blessing is not because of us, it is Allah’s Grant. He has favored us. May Allah keep us with these Favors and with the Love of Prophet (s) in our hearts that we may continuously praise Him day and night. Allah (swt) said:

????? ???????? ???? ?????????

Anaa jaleesu man dhakaranee.

I sit with him who remembers me. (Ahmad, Bayhaqi)

I don’t like to say “remembered Me,” but in commentaries they translate it that way, while in reality it is “mentions Me.” So mention Allah (swt).

????? ??? ?????? ????????????? ?????????? ???????????? ????????? ???????????? ??????? ?????????? ?????????? ????????? ??????????? ?????? ???????? ?????????? ???????? ??????????? ???????????????? ??? ?????? ????????????? ?????????? ???????? ??? ???????? ???? ???????? ??????????? ??????? ??????? ????????

Inna fee khalqi ’s-samawaati wa ’l-ard wa’khtiflaafi ’l-layli wa ’n-nahaar la-ayaatin li-ooli ’l-albaab. Alladheena yadhkuroonallaha qiyaaman wa qu`oodan wa `ala junoobihim wa yatafakkaroona fee khalqi ’s-samawaati wa ’l-ard rabbanaa maa khalaqta hadhaa baatilan subhaanaka faqinaa `adhaab an-naar.

Behold! In the creation of Heaven and Earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding, those who remember Allah (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting and lying down on their sides, and contemplating the creation of the Heavens and the Earth, (saying), "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose! Glory to You! Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire.” (Surat Aali `Imraan, 3:191-192)

So this means that in every moment of your life, make your heart say “Allah” and “Laa ilaaha illa-Llah,” but do not forget “Muhammadun Rasoolullah.”

We are very honored by a habeeb here today, and in fact, all here are ahbaab an-Nabi (s). May Allah (swt) forgive us and bless us. Wa `alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh.

Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
