Zhuhr Suhbah
Alhamdulillahi Rabbi 'l-`Alameen, wa ’s-salaatu wa ’s-salaamu `alaa ashrafi 'l-mursaleena Sayyidina wa Nabiyyina Muhammadin wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi ajma`een.
A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani 'r-rajeem. Bismillaahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem.
Nawaytu 'l-arba`een, nawaytu 'l-`itikaaf, nawaytu 'l-khalwah, nawaytu 'l-`uzlah,
nawaytu 'r-riyaada, nawaytu 's-salook, lillahi ta'ala al-`Azheem fee hadha 'l-masjid.
أَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ الرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ
Atee`oollaha wa atee`oo 'r-Rasoola wa ooli 'l-amri minkum.
Obey Allah, obey the Prophet, and obey those in authority among you. (Surat an-Nisa, 4:59)
As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh. Today is the 17th of Ramadan and an important day in Islam, when Allah separated haqq from baatil. It is surprising that 313 or 330 Sahaabah (r) who took part in the Battle of Badr won against a thousand unbelievers. Allah gave them power and strength. If we look at ourselves today, we don’t see anything like that; we don’t have power nor strength to stand against our enemy. Our enemies are not only human beings, otherwise, it would be easy to convert everyone to Islam. However, our biggest enemy is Shaytan, who was able to gossip in the ear of Sayyidina Adam (a) to make him to eat from the Forbidden Tree, which was not allowed by Allah (swt).
He disobeyed Allah because of a common enemy of Believers and unbelievers alike. It tries to put Believers on the wrong path and to keep unbelievers on the wrong path. So Muslims and non-Muslims have a common enemy; therefore, instead of fighting each other, let us fight this enemy who will remain until Allah (swt) orders Sayyidina Israfeel (a) to blow the Trumpet and everything will die! Even up to that point, this common enemy will try to find someone’s ear to gossip in to make them sin. He is very active but we are not, because our egos are big. We want everything to be according to our opinion and consider everything else to be false.
Allah said (swt):
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن جَاءكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَأٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَن تُصِيبُوا قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَى مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ
O you who believe! If a corrupt person comes to you with something wrong, ascertain the truth unless you harm people unwittingly and afterwards become full of repentance for what you have done.
(Surat al-Hujuraat, 49:6)
If Shaytan comes to you with gossip, check if it is correct or false. Don't build your home on ruins as it will fall to pieces; make sure your home is built on a solid infrastructure or it will fall due to a tornado or earthquake, so build it on solid iron. Don't give your ear to the biggest enemy of Sayyidina Adam (a), Prophet (s) and human beings!
Who disrupts people’s safety? Shaytan. People are like children, they come to dunya with innocence, but when they grow up Shaytan makes them to do all kinds of bad things. For example, never before have we heard of such drugs that people are now using and from such a young age. They are being killed as well as their future, because they are listening to dunya and Shaytan, who is showing them dunya is Paradise. Don't let Shaytan enter between you and Allah (swt) like he entered between Adam (a) and human beings to take them to the wrong way, and they did not to listen to Allah's order.
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ اسْجُدُواْ لآدَمَ فَسَجَدُواْ إِلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ
And when We told the angels, "Prostrate yourselves before Adam!" they all prostrated themselves, except Iblees. (Surat al-Baqara, 2:34)
“We taught angels to make sajda for Adam,” and all did except Iblees and Allah (swt) threw him out. Iblees made Paradise not accept Adam and Hawa (a), then Allah sent them to Earth because of that small gossip that entered Adam’s heart from Iblees.
We see all these difficulties in dunya, but inshaa-Allah we will see rewards in Akhirah. We are weak servants, we cannot do everything right. There are 124,000 Awliyaullah. Yaa Sayyidi, yaa Rahmatan li ’l-`Alameen! Those who are known are very few, because some are running away while others are passed away and have not been not replaced, so they are decreasing in numbers. Nowadays, you can no longer find Awliyaullah, not like 50, 100 or 1,000 years ago. Then they put all kinds of power in your heart to rejuvenate you, as Allah (swt) gave Sayyidina Zakariyya (a) a child named Yahya, meaning “the one who is alive.”
يَا يَحْيَى خُذِ الْكِتَابَ بِقُوَّةٍ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحُكْمَ صَبِيًّا
And when the son was born and grew up, he was told, "O Yahya! Hold fast to the Divine writ with [all your] strength for We granted him wisdom while he was yet a little boy.” (Surat Maryam, 19:12)
Allah gave him the strength to take the Holy Book of that time to teach his people. What are we doing today? Fighting! Country with country or husband with wife. I see many husbands and wives asking for happiness after fighting for a long time. Some of them leave and break people’s hearts and don't care. We are in a situation in which we don't know what is coming in the future. We are leaning on Grandshaykh (q), and if not for him we would have been lost a long time ago.
I don’t think anyone has seen what I have concerning the issues Awliya have to deal with in order to clean and clarify their followers. Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem. Look at how everyone carries an iPhone, which is a piece of junk, but everyone depends on it. If everyone depended on their heart, Allah would give them a heavenly phone. All the information from all over the world is inside this box, you can get everything you want from this, although it is nothing. Everyone uses it for their work, even though it is only as big as your hand. What about the heart of a human being?
ما وسعني أرضي ولا سمائي ولكن وسعني قلب عبدي المؤمن
Maa wasi`anee ardee wa laa samaa'ee wa laakin wasi`anee qalbi `abdee al-mu'min.
Neither My Heavens nor My Earth contain Me, but the heart of My believing servant contains Me.
(Hadith Qudsi, Al-Ihya of Imam al-Ghazali)
It means this contains Allah’s Light. He said,“My Heavens and Earth were not able to contain Me.” No one can contain Allah (swt), “but that Light can be contained by a mu’min servant of Mine.” What does ‘contain’ mean? This iPhone contains whatever you want of dunya and Akhirah, as it has Qur’an and Hadith. Allah is saying, “Neither My Heavens nor My Earth can contain Me,” which means they cannot contain all knowledges. Prophet (s) has been given `Uloom al-Awwaleen wa ’l-Akhireen, and he is looking at every servant of Allah (swt) so that they may be able to fulfill the requirements to contain that Light and love of Allah (swt) and Prophet (s). Allah is Huw al-`Alim, as all knowledge comes from Him. So our heart can contain the knowledge of Before and After. This iPhone cannot contain all of it, it is limited to Adam (a), but can anyone know what was before? Yes, Sayyidina Muhammad (s) knows!
وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الأَسْمَاء كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلاَئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنبِئُونِي بِأَسْمَاء هَـؤُلاء إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ قَالُواْ سُبْحَانَكَ لاَ عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلاَّ مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ
And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels and said, “Tell Me the names of these if you are right.” They said, “Glory to You! Of knowledge we have none, save what You taught us. In truth it is You Who are perfect in knowledge and wisdom.” (Surat al-Baqarah, 2:31-32)
Allah taught Sayyidina Adam (a) all the Names by the Intercession of Prophet (s) as Allah said in Holy Qur’an:
الرَّحْمَنُ عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ
Ar-Rahman, Allah (swt) taught the Holy Qur'an, then created Creation. (Surat ar-Rahman, 55:1-3)
He first taught Holy Qur’an to Prophet (s) then created Creation, so the heart of a human being can contain that Light as is in Holy Qur’an, “Allah is the Light of Heavens and Earth.” You will understand every particle, every hand span and every planet in this universe and contain it within your heart.
Fifty years ago, Grandshaykh (q) said, “There is a big taa’ifa of jinn who are not mu’min, but are devils. There are mu’min jinn who believe in Allah (swt) and Prophet (s), but that group of jinn are devils who want to harm human beings. They are called hask ‘uz-zanadeer, their Syriac name, which is used by jinn. One time Sayyida Fatima (a) went crying to her father. She was very dear to Prophet (s) and she served him with the utmost devotion, even more than his wives.
He (s) asked, “Why are you crying?”
She (a) said, “I have a problem with my husband that disturbs me. Sometimes he goes away for two or three days in a week. I don't know where he goes, but I don’t see him in his bed or anywhere in the house. I am worried, what will happen to us?”
If that marital union breaks Heavens will break, because her dowry was all of Ummat an-Nabi (s), for whom she will intercede on the Day of Judgement.
“What happened, what is going on?” Prophet (s) asked.
She said, “Sometimes Sayyidina `Ali (r) disappears and doesn't come back. Out of love, I don't ask him and neither does he mention anything to me.” Look at how pure she was. She didn't want to say this to anyone but her father.
Prophet (s) said, “I know about it. Don't think he is going anywhere wrong. I am sending him to the nearest space in the atmosphere to fight devils and keep them in their place.” Allah created good and bad aliens, which are perhaps jinn, but we don't know for sure. Prophet (s) said, “I am sending him to fight them, to keep them there where Allah has chained them. They can break through the wall at any moment and come.” That is how Gog and Magog will come. They will break that dam and it will be opened for them. So Prophet (s) said, “If not for your husband, you would have seen all these devils come on Earth and destroy everything. Humanity is protected because of him.” That is why he was called Asadullah al-Ghalib, the Victorious Lion: his hands have the power to carry dunya.
One time in Madinatu 'l-Munawwara, Sayyidina `Ali (r) was walking and saw an old woman 100 years old or more carrying a basket in front of him and she became tired and placed the basket on the ground.
“Do you need help?” he asked.
She said, “Yes, I need someone to carry my basket.”
With all his strength, Sayyidina `Ali (r) picked up the basket but was only able to lift it up to his knees as it was extremely heavy. Allah wanted to show Prophet’s (s) son-in-law that the whole universe was in that basket and that is why it was so heavy; still, only Sayyidina `Ali (r) and that lady could carry it. Prophet (s) sent him to that wall to contain the jinn there and not let them to jump over it: Allah restricted their movement. Grandshaykh (q) mentioned this fifty years ago and said Sayyidina `Ali (r) has given that power to no one except Sayyidina Mahdi (a) for when he appears.
Fifty years ago, they began to make a hole in that wall, trying to come to Earth. In Physics, we learned there is one hole they can come through, the black hole. If someone goes through space they must go through that black hole as it is the only opening to enter Earth from the atmosphere. However, scientists have discovered there are now hundreds and thousands of black holes open from the atmosphere to Earth that were not there fifty years ago, so numerous devil jinn are coming to separate husband and wife, and to spread sihr, black magic, and everywhere you see people affected by it! Now many people only come to seek help for it and we human beings are falling into the trap of Shaytan because of that evil. Those who are with Prophet (s), supporting Ahlu ‘l-Islam and mu’min, taking care of unbelievers to become Believers, are safe.
We are asking Allah to save us from a big disaster! There were two big angels that came to teach this on Earth among Muslims and non-Muslims and for husbands and wives to separate for no reason. So we have to be careful in what we decide to do as Grandshaykh (q) said the only thing this group of devils wants to do is destroy Earth! Sayyidina `Ali (r) prevented them from penetrating, but now slowly, slowly they are entering and covering the whole Earth. This is the fitna Prophet (s) mentioned:
عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ فِتَنًا كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهَا مُؤْمِنًا وَيُمْسِي كَافِرًا ، وَيُمْسِي مُؤْمِنًا وَيُصْبِحُ كَافِرًا ، الْقَاعِدُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْقَائِمِ ، وَالْمَاشِي فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِي ، فَكَسِّرُوا قِسِيَّكُمْ وَقَطِّعُوا أَوْتَارَكُمْ وَاضْرِبُوا سُيُوفَكُمْ بِالْحِجَارَةِ ، فَإِنْ دُخِلَ يَعْنِي عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَكُنْ كَخَيْرِ ابْنَيْ آدَمَ " .
Before the Hour comes, there will be a tribulation like patches of dark night. A man will get up a Believer and go to sleep an unbeliever, or will go to sleep a Believer and wake up an unbeliever. The one who sits at that time will be better than one who stands and the one standing will be better than the one walking and the one walking will be better than one running. Break your bows, cut their strings and strike your swords against stones. If someone comes to kill any of you, then be like the better of the two sons of Adam. (Narrated Abu Musa al-Ash`aree, Abu Dawud, ibn Majah.)
These ‘patches of dark night’ are the devils covering the skies and turning everything dark by spreading confusion solely to disturb human beings and make them to fight each other. May Allah (swt) give happiness to our hearts. I envy this iPhone as it knows more than anyone here. You cannot do better than this cell phone. If you accept that above every knower there is a higher knower, Allah will rejuvenate your heart at every moment! Just as you are asked to update your phone every few weeks, your heart also needs to be updated for you to feel happiness in your life. Inshaa-Allah, Allah will bring happiness to everyone and keep families together with their children, and protect husbands and wives. The divorce rate is too high now, every day hundreds and thousands of people are separating. Ibn `Umar (r) reported the Prophet (s) said, "With Allah, the most detestable of all things permitted is divorce." Don’t divorce, make sure to resolve your problems. Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
You don’t know what these devils can do; through many tricks they can completely change your home from peaceful and blessed to a disaster! They can separate children from parents, which is what we are seeing today; after the age of sixteen, children want to be independant and no longer live with you. They separate husbands and wives, marriages end because of these devils, so they must be killed to solve this problem. You must kill them from your heart and mind: throw them away, then the picture will become clear to you. As long as you are thinking about gossips of these devils, they will make you restless. If you meditate by connecting your heart with your shaykh’s, you will feel that power enter and flood your entire being. This makes the shaykh very happy and he will present it to Prophet (s), who will take you under his Intercession and present you clean in the Divine Presence!
May Allah (swt) guide us in order that we may stop following our egos, but in the Way of Allah so that we may reach Him. Don’t disturb your life for nothing. You don’t know how you are protected, it might be by someone you know or someone you don’t. Don’t lose the opportunities Allah gave all of us, you must keep them and meditate on them. Those who do dhikr begin to gain a certain power that enables them to make taffakur; they contemplate creation of Heavens and Earth. So sit by yourself, focus well and meditate, and inshaa-Allah you will find happiness and your treasure will open. If you want more, you can ask and the answer will come.
For those who heard this suhbah and even those who did not, it is already in your hearts as if you were present, witnessing it. This suhbah is not directed to anyone in particular, it is a general advice. May Allah forgive all of us.
Sayyidina `Ali (r) was able to carry the basket up to his knees, meaning, he was able to carry Ummat an-Nabi (s) up to his knees; from there and above is for Sayyidina Muhammad (s) to carry. Those who are making daily salawaat on Prophet (s) will have no fear from these devils, they will not be able to approach them. Continue with your salawaat and you will be successful inshaa-Allah.
Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
