The heart of Waliyullah is nothing but a mirror. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) said that so many times. Whatever you put in front of the mirror, appears. If there is nothing in front of the mirror, the mirror is empty, there is nothing in it. So when you put yourself in the mirror, you see yourself. So when Shaykh `AbdAllah ad-Daghestani (q) put himself in front of that mirror, which is the heart of Shaykh Nazim (q), what is the impression in his heart? Shaykh `AbdAllah (q). What is present in the mirror?
Shaykh Nazim's heart is like a mirror. Your heart has to be like a mirror. There is nothing flowing in and out making something different, no! Basically Shaykh `AbdAllah ad-Daghestani (q) appears in the heart of Shaykh Nazim (q) where it is engraved.
If Shaykh Sharafuddin (q) comes in front of the mirror of Shaykh Nazim (q), who is seen in the heart of Shaykh Nazim (q)? Shaykh Sharafuddin (q)! If Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (r) comes in front of the mirror of that heart of Shaykh Nazim (q), who is seen in there? What image do you see? You see Siddiq (r).
If Rasulullah (s) shows himself in front of the mirror of that heart that has been polished--that's why you have to polish your heart, so your heart becomes a mirror. It will reflect anything that is put in front of it.
So when Allah (swt) opens to your heart from His Divine Presence, `ilm/knowledge is from Ism al-`Aleem, wisdom/hikmah from Ismullah al-Hakeem,; from any Ism, any Names He wants, that heart reflects. It doesn't need something extra or something new or something different, no it's no different, it's all coming from One, from the Haqiqa, from the Presence of Allah (swt).
All Awliyas' hearts are mirrors, Anbiyaullahs' hearts are mirrors. Reflecting what? Reflecting The One. Reflecting Allah's (swt) Holy Names and Attributes. Whatever is put in front of them, they reflect. That is Haqqani.
