As-salaamu `alaykum, O Believers!
The believer is a clean person. Faith gives people cleanliness and beauty. Their dunya and Akhirah becomes prosperous. Sometimes there is permission to speak a few words after the Fajr prayer, so we make a suhbah. The first order for us is to say, “A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.” Shaytan runs away from assemblies where it is said, “A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem,” as he doesn't like it. He doesn't like it so he runs away. Therefore, we say, “A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.” May Allah protect us from the evil of Shaytan.
There is Shaytan from the jinns and there is Shaytan from men also. May Allah protect us from the evil of both of them. May we remember the Name of Allah in the first place. It is necessary for a servant in his every act, and whosoever remembers the Name of Allah first, Allah makes his every act easy for him.
Look how beautiful it is when the holy ones, the believers, say, “May we remember the Name of Allah first.” After we remember the Holy Name of Allah Almighty, our assembly will be beautiful and it will be clean. Shaytan doesn't approach an assembly where there is the remembrance/dhikr of Allah. Therefore, may we remember the Name of Allah first. Mawlid ash-Shareef teaches us to say, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem.” Before the hojas taught the children and what did they teach? They taught what needed to be known, the things that will give them benefit in their dunya life. They now teach what is not good for dunya or Akhirah. (...) They already refused the Akhirah and removed it from their books and schools. For this reason they are not finding goodness! For what do we live? For whom do we live? What should we do? How should we act? You should teach a person what is beneficial for him as well as his parents, for his society and for the nation of Islam.
Before there was an imaam’s room in every mosque and they taught the students in that room what needed to be learned and saying, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem” was the first to be taught! “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem. Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem. Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem. We remember the Name of our Lord.” How beautiful and what an honor! Today's people have no honor left. Why? Because they leave Allah and seek honor in other places. If Allah doesn't grant a man honor, what is the use of his study? Therefore, they don't know what they should study nor do they know what they should teach. They can't teach and the students can't learn. Now there are so many of them. Before everyone sent their children to the mosques located in every neighborhood to be taught. A person cannot learn everything, it is not possible. What is obligatory on us to learn? To teach whatever is necessary for us in this dunya life.
Man asks, “Who am I? Who created me? For what did He (swt) create me? What should I do?” Therefore, they would take a kid to his first day in school with a ceremony. The children would start their education by singing qasidas with the Holy Qur’an in front of them on bookstands. How beautiful is spirituality! And what was taught to the child in the first place was, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem.” With this teaching of His Holy Name, faith enters into this kid's heart, love (for spirituality) enters. He finds comfort and from the Heavens noor comes down on him. Therefore, our first word should be the Name of Allah, “May we remember the Name of Allah first.”
These people now throw Mawlid ash-Shareef aside like they know too much! Only these two lines of
Mawlid ash-Shareef are more than enough for the people. “May we remember the Name of Allah in
the first place.” May we remember the Holy Name of Allah Almighty! Say, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani
‘r-Raheem.” What a child was first taught was “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem.”
كل أمر ذي بال لا يبدأ فيه ببسم الله الرحمن الرحيم فهو أقطع أو(فهو ابتر)
Kullu amrin dhi baalin laa yabdaa bi Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem fa huwa aqta` aw fahuwa abtar.
To act on any matter that comes to your mind that does not begin with Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem is cut off.
If your every act begins with the Name of Allah, none of your acts will come out abtar (cut off), if the beginning of an act is with the Name of Allah Dhu ‘l-Jalaal and if you say, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem.” May we say the Name of Allah in the first place, it is obligatory in, “Whosoever remembers the Name of Allah, may his work never be abtar.”
It means if that person remembers the Name of Allah and starts that work by saying, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem.” Abtar is to be barren, fruitless. A person plants wheat, but its sheaths turn out to be empty, meaning it won't give grain because the secret comes on them from Allah Almighty when His Holy Name is mentioned and that wheat or other plant, all of them, are filled with the Holy Name of Allah and they become strong. If not, they will become straw. If it is with the Bismillah, it is wheat grain. Allah Almighty fills it: the wheat, the barley, the vetch and the oat. What is it that makes all of them mature? It is not the rain and it is not the sun, it is the Holy Name of Allah Dhu ‘l-Jalaal! When “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem” is said, everything finds its perfection and its maturity; an act without the Bismillah brings no result, it is abtar, barren, fruitless. A barren person can't have children and so whatever a person does, he will have no result. Therefore, it is being focused on the Bismillah now because what gives Man strength is the Bismillah; it is neither their cannons nor their rifles.
Make people familiar with the Bismillah! Load your weapon and it will hit the target, otherwise the target is somewhere and where the cannon fires somewhere else and it doesn't hit the target. The person who takes aim at a target should say, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem.” Even when you go hunting, say the Bismillah; don't disturb the animals for no reason. To be hunters is halaal for people who do not have any other occupation, but hunting for fun is haraam, forbidden. One day they will hit you in the head or one day it will come on your children. Quit it! Don't go hunting when you have food to feed yourself. Hunting has turned into entertainment.
“But didn't we come to dunya to play?”
“No!”
The most honored Creation is Man, ashraf al-mahlooqaat, among the creation of Allah Almighty. These ones say ‘creature.’ The most honored one is Man. What is he honored with? Allah Almighty addressed him and made him prostrate before Him. Allahu Akbar! Make sajda for Allah Almighty and don't fear as your honor will go up.
In this time, Shaytan corrupted everything and doesn't leave them. (He says) “On the name of this man....”
“What happened to that man?"
“He turned into earth, he is finished.”
“What help can he do for you?”
“If he could help himself, he wouldn't die.”
“There is One Who keeps him alive.”
“Then?”
“Then there is One Who makes him die. Man cannot survive by himself. There is One Who keeps him alive and he doesn't want to leave dunya by himself, but there is the Powerful One Who takes his soul.”
He (swt) takes the soul as He granted it before. You should glorify Allah and you should know Him. You should say, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem.” Because they don't say, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,” all of them are empty like empty sheaths, there is nothing in it, only straw. Animals eat straw, but people need grains. There is no grain in today's people. Since they don't start with the Bismillah, none of their doings succeed. Abtar! They are left as fruitless, they are barren.
Say it and make people get used to Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Raheem. Every night or every day, my
son-in-law and my grandson, a fire breaks out. This came to me last night: every night a fire breaks out in a place and they said Galatasaray High School burned in the evening. Did you see it in the last news? It is the great building on the right side when you enter Beyoglu and it became ashes, they said. Always fires come on Turks. At that time we were given a sign and I want to speak of it. Who understands, understands. Who doesn't understand burns in the fire and does not realize it. It was maybe from the time of Sultan `Abdul-Hamid, a 350-year-old school and it is on your right when you turn for Beyoglu. Fire here, fire there...
I asked, “What is the wisdom in this?” for the fire that broke out last night.
They told me, “In the old times, these buildings were protected. There was no fire for all of these hundreds of years in the palaces, there was no fire in the historic residences, but now it is burning because the evil ones came.”
“What is the reason for it?”
Be careful about this point. Allahu Akbar! There was no place where it was not written ‘Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem’ out of respect, my grandson and son-in-law. Every building without the Bismillah will be burned! They took down the Bismillah and put the portrait, and because of that portrait, He will burn (places). Fire can't enter a house where Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem is written. It has a majesty, there is no fire that can burn Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem. They removed the Bismillah signs and placed the portrait. The portrait will be burned, the works they do will be burned and they themselves will be burned, also!
They gave me this secret last night. I said, “There are always fires everywhere.”
They told me, “O Shaykh!” I am not a shaykh, but the Holy Ones addressed me this way.
I said, “Inform these heedless Muslims that they removed the Bismillah signs from their homes and filled it with portraits. It was the Bismillah which protected these buildings.”
Was it ever heard before that a palace was burned? The Ciragan Palace was burned. They didn't put the Bismillah in it for the Europeans. It was burned! Topkapi didn't burn, Yildiz Palace was not burned, many other palaces were not burned. Why? Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem. Allahu Akbar wa lillahi 'l-hamd!
I was surprised last night and asked, “Why all these fires?”
They said, “O Shaykh....” I am not a shaykh, but I don't know if I am a shaykh to them. I am a helpless servant of Allah and they are making me speak. They said, “They took down the Bismillah, O son. They took down the Bismillah from its respected position. There are angels wherever is the Bismillah and they protect it. The Bismillah can never be burned! The Bismillah can never be burned. A person with the Bismillah cannot be burned and neither can bullets touch him.”
I said, "So that is.”
For so many times this inspiration did not come to my heart, but at night they told me that the Galatasaray Building, which was 100-150 years old, burned to ashes. I asked, why? They later told me, “This is the reason: they took down the Bismillah and put a portrait in its place, so now its turn has come and it was burned.”
They should be careful that whatever they build--the palaces they build, the residences they build, the high buildings that they are happy with--they will be burned with them, because they don't put the Bismillah. Warn them, threaten them: if they don't listen and whoever doesn't put the Bismillah will be burned with their buildings! Say, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem!” It gives strength to you. Neither of these are coming from Europe, what are they? With pride they are saying, “The missiles have arrived!” What is a missile? You have in your hand the Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem missile, which is better than all the missiles in the world! It came down to us from the Heavens. Why don't you say, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem”? Why don't you hang it in your offices? What have you become? You put a portrait and took down the Bismillah. You will be burned. In one quake, Istanbul will be gone. Ankara is already gone. Allah. Allahu Akbar!
There are so many things in the power of Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem. Recite it daily at least forty times, “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem. Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem. Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem.” Teach this and you will not need missiles, cannons or planes. If you don't get used to this, it will make you ashes. The huge wooden palace is burned, Galatasaray. The sultan built it and decorated it with Bismillah signs. They took them down and put portraits in their places. “Wait. Wait,” they say, “Wait for what will come on you.” That huge building burned down last night, Galatasaray. The houses and cars which have no Bismillah in them will be burned also. The offices that have no Bismillah will be burned. The fire is coming and it will burn. What will distinguish between them is the Bismillah. “Ghaidh” is the severity coming from the Heavens and what stops it is “Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem.”
O People! Don't take these as empty words or one day the fire will burn you, too. We seek refuge in Allah. Yaa Rabbee, tawbah. Yaa Rabbee, tawbah. Yaa Rabbee, tawbah. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. May You send us servants who will teach us this. Send us power, O our Lord! This poor one is an old person.. There came instructions to me from the holy ones; with their barakah, I am speaking for them to the world, but the first order is for the Muslims: make a Bismillah sign and put it in your car. If you don't have one in your home, put one in your home. Put everywhere the Bismillah. Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem!
I have no strength for anything. I may stand up. O Lord! Grant me good health, also. These words, the words of Your awliyas, may they reach from east to west. I don't need any radio or Inter-pod or whatever it is called, I don't need any of these, I can shake the world! When I say, “Allah,” I can shake the world, too, Man on zero leve! Allahu Akbar wa lillahi 'l-hamd.
O People! O Turks especially, pull yourselves together. If not, they say, “The forest took fire, it is burning.” A forest is not burned. No fire comes to the forests. Because of your tasteless doings the forests are burning and the animals in them are burning. From all of them, curses come on you! You can't find goodness. Don't expect from the Germans, what is that? Partona? That it will come and protect you? If Allah does not protect you, what are the missiles or museums for, what do you expect from them? Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Say this and march, “Yaa Ghaliban Ghayra Maghloob. Yaa Ghaliban Ghayra Maghloob.” March like this and there can be no missiles or museum that can stand in your way.
O Lord! Forgive us. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. Tawbah, astaghfirullah.
O Arabs! You are Muslims. Some of you trust the Russians, some trust the US, some trust Europe. (...) O Allah! Forgive us. May we return to You, O Allah! Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. For the honor of this holy night, which is the Mawlid of Your beloved, send us a sultan. O Lord! Send us Mahdi (a). O Lord! May the majesty of Islam appear, O Lord!
O Muslims! Have the Bismillah written and hang it. Don't fear. If not, you will be burned also. Fire does not only burn a building, but it burns many people in it also. Yaa Rabbee, tawbah. Yaa Rabbee, tawbah. Yaa Rabbee, tawbah. For the honor of Your Beloved, I am crying. They ask, “Why are you crying?” Here it is: we are left in the hands of no-mind ones and we became no-minded, too. O Lord! Forgive us. Send us a master, send us a sultan. Yaa Allah! May Allah close the graves of those who closed our mosques and may Allah give long life to those who open them! They captured the huge Aya Sofia, Hagia Sophia with their swords and turned it into a mosque and we turned it into a church and made it a museum. It is a big shame on the Muslims! May Allah send us a master and send us a sultan. Yaa Rabbee, You know! Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee. Tawbah, astaghfirullah.
Fatihah.
Tell them they should have it handwritten by the calligraphers in Istanbul. I don't want a print out writing. The calligraphers should write and people should take from them, paying their salary. They should not fear.
