لَا يُسْأَلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْأَلُونَ
L`a yusalu `ammaa yaf`alu wa hum yusa’loon.
He cannot be questioned for His acts, but they will be questioned (for theirs). (al-Anbiya, 21:23)
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَا
inna Allaaha yaf`alu maa yashaa.
Allah carries out all that He wills. (al-Hajj, 22:18)
إِنَّ اللّهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ
inna Allaaha yahkumu maa yureed.
He commands what He wills. (al-Ma’ida, 5:1)
Our Lord says, “It shall be like this!” Can we then say to our Lord, “It shall not be so!” Can that happen? What tark adab, bad manners! Men like us ask this and that from Allah Almighty. Is He a store, that He gives you this and that? He is Allah, Jalla `azhaamatuhu wa laa ilaaha ghayruhu!
He orders an atom, “Give what the whole universe asks!”
Allah (swt) is making us go around inside an atom. The world is like an atom, 70,000 times smaller and 70,000 times lower than an atom. Allah Almighty can even create something 70,000 times smaller than that, and the whole world can run or walk around in it, as He is Allah Almighty!
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
inna rabbaka fa`aalun limaa yureed.
Your Lord is the (sure) Accomplisher of what He plans. (Hud, 11:107)
I am ashamed, O my Lord! O Lord, O Allah! May You assign one of Your servants who may guide us to and teach us Your Way as we don’t know; we have not learned anything. Each one coming made us confused and we have fallen into this confused way. If You will, even one of Your ants can guide us to You, O our Lord! Allah, Allah Subhaana Hu! Laa ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadun Rasoolullah!
O Mankind! Mankind is so ignorant!
إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا الْأَمَانَةَ عَلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالْجِبَالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَن يَحْمِلْنَهَا وَأَشْفَقْنَ مِنْهَا وَحَمَلَهَا الْإِنسَانُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ ظَلُومًا جَهُولًا
Inna aradnaa ’l-amaanata `ala ’s-samawaati wa ’l-ardi wa ’l-jibali fa-abayna an yahmilnahaa wa ashfaqna minhaa wa hamalaha ’l-insaanu innahu kaana zhalooman jahoola.
We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains, but they refused to undertake it, being afraid, but Man undertook it. Verily, he has proved a tyrant and a fool. (al-Ahzab, 33:72)
“Zhaalam” is “oppressor,” while “jahoola” means “extreme ignorance,” the ignorance of all Mankind! Both are attributes of the ego, nafs. What can we do? Tawbah yaa Rabbee, tawbah, astaghfirullah, astaghfirullah. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.
