The Confusion of Different Sects

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

26 May 2011 Lefke Cyprus

(Mawlana Shaykh meets guests.) Are you from America? That is not Islam, even wild animals they are doing such things. Allah Almighty and His Prophet (s) saying, Man laa yarham laa yurham. Say translation for them: “who does not give mercy will receive no mercy.”. This is not Islam. Islam is, Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem, coming with full Mercy aslim taslam, but we are living in a time that no Islamic authority. Everyone does according to their egoistic desires. And we are saying only Laa hawla wa laa quwatta illa billahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem ..

The first command of Allah Almighty for the nation of the Seal of Prophets it is to be under the flag of Islam, shown in that picture. Asta`eedhu billah.

وَاعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ اللّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ تَفَرَّقُواْ

w `ataasimoo bi hablillahi jamee`an wa laa taffaraqoo.

And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves. (3:103)

The Holy Qur'an says, "O Muslims! You must come and be holders for the holy flag of Islam.” Wa laa tafaraqoo, “Don't be different groups,” each one saying, ‘I am this one, I am that one.’ No, all of you must come under the holy flag of Islam. If you are coming all together, the Lord of Heavens helps you, and if not, He is not accepting tafriqa, for you to have so many philosophies or to form different groups. Asta`eedhu billah.

وَاعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ اللّهِ جَمِيعً

w `atasimoo bi habb lillahi jamee`an.

Hold fast to the Rope of Allah altogether. (Surat Aali-`Imraan, 3:103)

All of you must be under the holy flag of Islam, not under different groups with every group saying, "We are the first one and you must follow us!" and others saying, "Our ways are more true!" No! Shari`atullah, Allah Almighty's Holy Divinely Rules, are clear. Why you are thinking on it? It is so easy. Why you are bringing something from your egoistic understandings? No, Shari`atullah, holy rules of Allah, are so bright, so clear.

For twenty-three years the Seal of Prophets (s) taught and trained his Sahaabah (r) to be a model for Islamic life. After him, who made different ideas or mentalities? Why they are doing that? And he, peace be upon him, said, “My nation is also going to be seventy-three branches, sects, but all of them are not acceptable, only one.”

What is that? Prophet (s) is saying, “What I follow, so do my followers, my Companions.” Why are you changing it when Shari`atullah, the holy commands of Allah Almighty, are so clear? Why are you bringing egoistic ideas and making true ones wrong ones and wrong ones to be true ones? I am sorry to say such a thing, but we are living in it now.

That means ayamul fitan `ijaabu kullu dhi raayin bi raayatih..., a period that everyone says, "I think that is (right)", and another one says, "I think it means something else." No, it is clear, al-halaalu bayyin wa ’l-haraamu bayyin, “What is lawful is clear and what is forbidden is clear.” What Allah Almighty orders to be upheld and avoided are clear. It means a time is coming, in the Last Days, the Day of Resurrection and the Day of Judgment are approaching, and some will say, "I am on the right way," and others will say, "No, we are on right way."

I am sorry to say that now Arabs, to whom Allah Almighty sent Holy Qur'an in their language, and He also sent Seal of Prophets (s) from among them, and now they follow ways of the 21st century, which is no good. It is a big blame for Arabs to make different groups, each one thinking, "My group is true and we are on Haqq!" No, al-halaalu bayyin wa ’l-haraamu bayyin! Why you are saying, "My group." Shari`atullah is the holy rules of Allah, which you must follow! hal min muddakkir is easy to understand!

O Arabs! O Muslims! Why you are changing running after your desires, asking to make haraam, halaal and halaal, haraam? O Allah! Send us such a person who will be supported by heavenly powers, and that is Mahdi (a)!

Imam Suyuti in his Jami`us-Sagheer collected holy words and teachings of the Seal of Prophets (s) and ordered them alphabetically, beginning with “alif,” then “ba,” “ ta,” “thaa,” “jeem,” and so on. The first hadith from Imam Suyuti was:

أبشروا بالمهدي

`an an-nabi yaqool: abshiroo bi ’l-Mahdi. “Good tidings of the advent of al-Mahdi (as)!” (alhamdulillah).1

So many people see the Seal of Prophets (s) in their dream, but Imam Suyuti was from some very rare ones who met with the Seal of Prophets (s) when he was awake, not in a dream. Therefore, every hadith he cited was correct by risaalat abshiroo bi ’l-Mahdi.

O People! Come and follow orders of the Seal of Prophets! You will be happy and successful and acceptable through the Divinely Presence. If not, you are going to be thrown away; angels will throw you into fire. But al-Azhar `ulamas are not saying anything because they like to follow their own ideas.

May Allah forgive us.

Tawbah yaa Rabbee, tawbah yaa Rabbee, tawbah yaa Rabbee, shukr yaa Rabbee, shukr, alhamdulillah.

(Mawlana Shaykh displays a newspaper.)

In Islam, according to the Seal of the Prophets (s), laa darara wa laa diraara.

You can't harm anyone in revenge! If someone harms you, you must not harm him in retaliation.” (al-Haakim, sahih)

May Allah forgive us.

Fatihah.

(Baya`)

May Allah grant to you happiness and heavenly lights and paradises for you, forever. Ameen, yaa Rabbee. Allah Zidhu yaa Rabbee `izzan wa sharafan nooran wa surooran, sultaanan wa ridhwaana. Give more and more lights to Your most beloved one and most glorified one through Your Divinely Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits).

Fatihah.

Good tidings of al-Mahdi, a man from the Quraysh from my descendants, who will appear during a great dissension between the people and earthquakes and he will fill the earth with justice and fairness as much as it had been filled with harm and oppression. And the inhabitants of the sky and the inhabitants of the earth will be pleased with him and he will divide wealth profusely, even-handedly, and he will fill the hearts of the Community of Muhammad (s) with wealth, and his justice will suffice them, until he will order a caller to call out, “who is there with any need to be fulfilled?” and no one will respond except one man. He will be told to go to the treasurer and tell him the the Mahdi order you to give me some wealth. "Gather and take it," he will be told. He will begin to put it in his lap, but he will not be able to carry it and then he will discard what he gathered until he is able to carry it, and then he will go out but (when he realizes that nobody else has come and he was the only one) he will regret it and say, "I was the greediest from amongst the Community of Muhammad (s). All of them were called to take from this wealth and no one did but me.’' The narrator says, "He will return it but it will not be accepted and it will be said to him that we do not accept what we have given." And he will stay six or seven or eight or nine years. And there will be no good in life after his passing.
