Sultan Selim Will Deliver the Trusts to Imam Mahdi (a)

Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

9 April 2011 Lefke, Cyprus

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: At that time I was staying at his home when his grandfather entered; the house was like this, from here to there, and the same above. Those devils brought him down! Sultan Selim was sitting on the couch like this with his tarboosh. When I looked, I thought he was Sultan Abdul Hamid! That’s how much he looks like him.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: Jadduhu, his grandfather.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: Sultan Abdul Hamid is his grandfather. You know Nadine Sultan (Sultan Selim’s paternal aunt) who comes here? Her eyes, nose, and overall features are exactly the same as the Ottomans. Allah made it like that so the Turks don’t impose themselves on them. His name is Selim.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: His picture is here, Sayyidee.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: His facial features show strength. He has power; if you try holding his hand, you won’t be able to. It’s very obvious from their facial features that they are Ottomans. His height was medium, not too long and not too short, like Seljuk. Haven’t you seen him? How does he look?

Guest: Mashaa-Allah, he’s full of zeal!

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: They all have the same nose; all the Ottoman Sultans have arched noses, which is a sign they are from Ahlu ‘l-Bayt. (...) As foretold in the hadith, “He will take from Selim.” And there is no other dynasty in the world other than the Ottomans which uses the name Selim.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: And you have mentioned this 40 years back, Sayyidee, that Sultan Selim will rule. I remember you used to say the same thing in Beirut.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: “Selim will come and take from Selim.” He is Sultan Selim!

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: (...) was in an oasis in Lebanon, as it was heard.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: No, they were his grandsons.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: They visited you; we were with them.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: We came, visited them and left.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: You said Selim will come as a ruler. Allahu Akbar, Selim! SubhaanAllah.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: Mashaa-Allah, his memory is good.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: I was with you.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: He is ready. The sultan who once was exiled will return back to Istanbul, as foretold in the Hadeeth ash-Shareef, in Jami`as-Sagheer’s `Azeeziya Sharh. Where did they put that book? The explanation in Azeeziya’s Sharh was for something else, but in this it is mentioned that the sultan will weaken, then afterwards he will leave for the sea to Istanbul and return as the same sultan, and that the Sacred Trusts will be received (...)

The khalifah of Abu Fatih in Egypt was the Abbasid khalifah. He sent him the Keys of the distinguished Ka`bah and the Sacred Trusts. After receiving these, he came directly to Istanbul. For twenty-four years, day and night, he arranged the recitation of the Holy Qur’an at that maqaam. For twenty-four hours, twenty-four qaris were reciting there ‘til those shaytans came and prevented them.

It is mentioned in here that Sultan Selim will receive those Sacred Trusts (in Topkapi Palace). He will arrive in the Last Days and deliver the trusts which were given to him by his grandfather to Saahib al-Waqt, Imaam Mahdi (a). No one can overpower him! Sultan Selim will deliver the trusts to Saahib az-Zaman. (…) And after some months, on the seventh (year), Dajjal will come out. This is a hadith (...)

The tyrants of the Turks insisted, “What is in here?!” The trusts are preserved in there. “What is behind that door?” they asked.

The staff there said, “There are some trusts to be protected.”

“I will pee on them!” they said.

“It’s impossible for anyone to enter!”

“We have a responsibility!” and they took one step; in the second step, their faces were attacked and they ran away. Among the children of Adam there is a group of jinn protecting these trusts. Like puppies they started wailing. They dragged that one out of there. His mouth went up to his ear, paralyzed. Those around him said, “What will we do now?” The doctor said, “This is not in our field; call someone who understands from these things.” They searched and found one dervish. After explaining the situation to him, he said, “Let me go and take a look.” He arrived and saw the man lying there on the floor. Immediately he took off his shoe and smacked him in the face! With one blow his face had straightened! (Laughter.)

(Mawlana Shaykh Nazim reiterates the incident in more detail:)

The man collapsed on the ground. His mouth was distorted. He kept insisting to have their chief see the Sacred Trusts. But although they warned him several times to not enter, he still kept saying, “Oooh! I will go in.” Finally, they opened it for him: first step, second step, and there came a smack! One of the jinns downstairs slapped him. Guryaa! And up the stairs they pulled him out, shouting. They looked and saw that his mouth had moved all the way to his ear. “Call a doctor!” they shouted. What doctor? There is nothing a doctor can do for this; the guardians downstairs beat him and he became paralyzed! “Oooo! Oooo!” He was bellowing like an ox. Then finally they brought in a dervish. He took off his shoe and smacked him in the face. The man’s mouth went back to its normal position.

This is a very important matter! That is why, Sultan Selim will come and take delivery of the Sacred Trusts. Then when Imam Mahdi (a) comes, he will hand them over to him. Sultan Selim will gird his sword at the Eyub Sultan Mosque (a ritual performed each time a new Ottoman Sultan ascends to the throne). Now they are preparing his royal garments. I told them, “There is permission! There is permission!” Yaa Rabbee hakkin! Yaa Rabbee hakkin! Make us reach to see Islam’s glory and zeal!

Fatihah.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: Mawlana, inshaa-Allah when the Ottomans come will they wear tarboosh or turbans?

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: Turbans and tarboosh as well. Most of them will wear tarboosh.
