Assalaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh. Alhamdulillahi rabb il-`alameen.
O Muslim brothers and sisters, Allah (swt) has honored us to be here today with you in this beautiful mosque. May Allah (swt) make every corner in this nation into a mosque. Greatness depends on the greatness of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and Sayyidina Muhammad (s) greatness depends on his Lord. Indescribable greatness Sayyidina without Allah's (swt) support to His beloved Sayyidina Muhammad (s) we would have been lost. Whenever the ummah is lost, Prophet (s) is there.
The Ummah might lose its mind but that one whom Allah (swt) called for Laylat al-Mi`raj, where He mentioned, "The one praised by his Lord, that He took him from Makkah to Madinah to Masjid al-Aqsa," on mi`raj, that one (s) is always standing against Shaytan for the ummah.
Don't think Allah (swt) created us and left us. (...) A general does not leave his army; an admiral will not leave his navy. Sayyidina Muhammad (s) is the one Allah (swt) has given power in order to keep his Ummah safe. Even if we are lost, Sayyidina Muhammad (s) acts on our behalf.
Allah (swt) said, "كنتم خبر امه اخرجت للناس تامرون بالمعزوف وتنهون عن المنك - You were the best ummah that has been sent for humanity." He used past tense, "were", not the future tense. We were where? It means, "Yaa Muhammad! I gave you an ummah accompanying you, and they are with you on the Day of Promises." When Allah (swt) asked, "Am I not your Lord?" and we said, "yes," we were given at that time--we don’t know if there was (the measurement of) time then. We know (our measurement of) time, but for Allah (swt). "I gave you the ummah when there was not time. Wherever you count there is no value." (Allah said,) "Your time has no value; My time has value. I gave you to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) from that time, now only you are witness ( ... ) then you go back to Sayyidina Muhammad (s)."
If you have a child and if you lose your child, but you still put his picture in the house to remember him or her by, what do you think about the One who created Creation? Is He going to leave His servants who have accepted Him and believed in Him, and leave us to Shaytan? It is impossible. That is why He ordered us, but we are heedless! In akhirah inshaa-Allah we are not heedless; we will be with Prophet (s). Yaa ayyuhal ladheena aamanoo, "O Muslims, salloo `ala an-Nabee, (Praise the Prophet) remember him because he is remembering you! He is near you! If you say, "as-salaat wa 's-salaam," and he will answer you. Sahaaba used to give their life for Prophet (s) to answer them, wa 'alaykum assalaam. They want to get his salaam, because our salaam, do you think it is a pure salaam? No, it is mixed with dunya, but his salaam is not. Narrated in the hadeeth of Prophet (s), he said, "Whoever greets me, Allah (swt) sends back my salaam to greet him." So do we want his salaam? Then make salaam on him and you will be saved.
Sayyidina Muhammad (s) gave us a very normal advice: "salli bi 'l-layli wa 'n-naasu niyaam -pray when people are sleeping." It means don't show off, don't make yourself showing that you are praying, say you don't need that. Besides your five obligations, pray so that no one sees you, only between you and Allah (swt). Pray when people are sleeping, don't show yourself, to make sure that people say, "Oh, he is performing salaat at night or during the day." When everyone is sleeping, pray. Wa ati`mu 't-ta`am, "give food"; don't be stingy for giving food to people. If you don't find anyone, invite one person to eat with you, it is barakah. It's the order of Prophet (s) wa ati`mu 't-ta`am. Grab anyone from the street to come eat with you. It doesn't necessarily mean physical food, it can be spiritual food. Allah (swt) is saying, "Don't forget Me. If you feed one person, you are doing that favor for Me. I will compensate for you." The imam was just giving a speech, that was spiritual food.
Don't be stingy, wa afshoo as-salaam, means "say assalaam `alaykum." On the streets (when you see) people passing by, say salaam, that is the order of the Prophet (s) to greet your Muslim brothers or sisters. Why did he say that at the end? Because Sahaaba used to get salaam from Prophet (s) full of blessings and happiness. Because if there is enmity between people it will pull out hatred. "Tadkullil-jannah bis-salaam - you will enter Paradise without problems." Do you think that Allah (swt) made the Prophet the Seal of Messengers (s) and gave him power to observe our `amal in daily life and to see what we are doing? Do you think that he will leave someone on the Day of Judgment without entering Paradise? It's a good tiding for Muslims.
Don't think that a very warm father will leave his children in the cold, snow outside. He will take them with him wherever he goes. We are asking Allah (swt) to make us real children to Sayyidina Muhammad (s). The best children are those who remember their fathers. That's why yaa ayyuha 'lladheena aamanoo... why? Does Prophet (s) need salawaat from us? Allah (swt) said, "Allah and His angels send salaawat on him." When Allah (swt) says, "I am sending praises on My beloved..." How many angels (are praising him)? Allah (swt) didn't say, "It's not going to be one or two or ten or a hundred...." He said, "Allah (swt) and His angels"! How many? Millions, billions, trillions? No way to count them! Don't think that Allah (swt) has only a trillion angels.
That is limitation because every cell in your body is acting under an angel, according to scientific issues, our body has at least three trillion cells. It means every body is moving and working with three trillion angels. What about the whole humanity, from the time of Adam (a) to the end? How many trillions and trillions of angels? That is for humanity; what about the countless universes and stars? So Allah (swt) included all of those in the aayah and more than that! And next time we will calculate it.
Du`a....
Taqabal Allah.

Thanks to Allah. We seek His help and forgiveness from our sins and we seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our selves and disadvantages of our wrong actions. God is not misleading.
Oh Muslims! A prophet came to you with the enlightenment and righteous path. If you want your Lord's love, follow Muhammad and go along his path. Henceforth you'll be rewarded with Paradise along with the honest ones and prophets. This dunya only lasts for a few hours. Some signs that the Day of Resurrection is approaching were relayed to the Prophet (s) by Angel Gabriel (a) who answered his question about when would be the end of time. His reply was, "When you see people proudly competing in building higher and higher buildings."
Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings upon His Apostle, Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family, and companions of the Prophet (s), out of respect and honor to His Excellency's high status, the Chosen One. Allah (swt) has informed us and declared when he said that, "God and His angels send their peace and blessings on the Prophet, so those who believe do the same." (33:56)
Allah (swt) blesses those who make salawaat upon your Prophet Muhammad (s) who has forbidden his nation from HellFire. He is the pride of the Arabs and non-Arabs, the Caretaker (responsible for) the Worlds, the most respected Master, Abu al-Qasim ibn `AbdAllah, Muhammad (s).
O those who yearn for the beauty of Muhammad and need his intercession, make salawat upon Prophet Muhammad (s)!
Du`a:
Ya Allah, bless our master Muhammad, as well as our master Abraham in both worlds. You are Hamid al-Majeed.
O Lord, forgive the believing Muslim men and women from among the living and dead. Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in faith, and do not allow any hatred in our hearts against those who believe.
O Lord, you are the Most Merciful! O Allah! Make Islam and Muslims triumphant, and glorify the word of this religion, and shame infidelity and the unbelievers. You are most capable of answering our prayers.
O our Lord! Grant us good in this world and in the Hereafter. Save us from the torment of Hell and allow us to enter Heaven along with the righteous ones.
O Dear and Powerful Lord! You are the Most Generous and Veiler of Faults!
O Lord of the Worlds, send your peace and blessings upon our Prophet, Muhammad (s), and upon his family and companions.
Exalted is the Lord, God Almighty, beyond what they describe, and peace on the messengers, and praise be to Him.
Peace and blessings of Allah be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions! He is preaching to you so as you may recall
Remembrance of Allah is the greatest and Allah knows what you are doing, so establish the prayer.
O Allah! Do not leave anyone of us in this association without forgiveness, nor let anyone leave without resolving their debts and personal calamities, nor without answering everyone's personal prayer, be it concerning this world or the Hereafter! O Responder to Prayers, O You Most Capable of answering our prayers!
