[Mawlana Shaykh Hisham spoke in Arabic, translated by Dr. Ali Hussain.]
Grandshaykh `AbdAllah al-Fa’iz ad-Daghestani, may Allah sanctify his secret, said, “Whoever believes in Awliyaullah and admits and confirms their existence without a doubt will be moved to the land of Sham.” Prophet (s) also mentioned the rank of Awliyaullah called the Substitutes, Abdaal, and all the Awliya are under their rank, and there is no count to the Awliya under their rank. Count them as much as you like, it is endless, you cannot count the Awliyaullah. Allah gave them the kind of power to manage the Ummah, and we are waiting.
Grandshaykh (q) said no one should be buried before they are purified, and they can be purified either through flowers, roses, or green herbs, but the real purification of the Muslim Ummah is through the power of the Awliyaullah, in order that they are protected from the enemies of Islam.
Grandshaykh (q) said, “The land of Sham cannot withstand poison.” This is why when a person is being buried they should be protected and cleansed with dhikr and salawaat, so that they obtain the rank of being moved to Sham and being purified.
Grandshaykh (q) said there are specific angels who are tasked with moving the body of the deceased, buried person of Ahlu ’s-Sunnah wa ’l-Jama`ah to the land of Sham. That is why it is important to do dhikr and salawaat, in order for that person to be prepared and ready. The land of Sham is the land of Awliya and Abdaal specifically, as the Prophet (s) made the land of Sham as a trust, as mentioned in the Forty Hadith of the blessings and special ranks of the land of Sham.
When the person is buried, everyone responsible for him or her becomes afraid of being questioned by Allah (swt), “What did you do? How did you take care of my servant?” and that servant will ask Allah (swt) for forgiveness.
A person is not buried, does not go into his grave, unless he is forgiven, and unless all of his or her ancestors are also forgiven, because they are tied: we are all tied together with heavenly chains. I am making du`a, asking Allah (swt) not to disappoint us, and that He will keep us with Prophet (s).
One of the traits that will happen when Prophet (s) appears is that all of us, his Ummah, will be with him. We have to worship Allah (swt) with absolute worship, `ibaadah mutlaqa, and this specific type of worship is facilitated by Awliyaullah. We are asking Allah (swt) again that we are not disappointed and that we enter with Prophet (s), that we are with him always, and that Allah (swt) gives us more from His Generosity and Bounty.
Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
I will be here on Saturday evening and will complete the suhbah then, inshaa-Allah.
Awliyaullah wish and desire to be buried next to Prophet (s) so that the rest of their life is spent in worship of Allah (swt), so that they spend the rest of their time in… [Audio cut.]
“Who put all these affairs together, the design of the Rawdah Cemetery (in Fenton)?” All the attachment that people have, Allah (swt) put this together because of the attachment the Ummah has to Prophet (s) and the attachment he has to his Ummah; otherwise, we have no hand in it whatsoever.
The first shrine in America will be for the Tariqat an-Naqshbandiyya al-`Aliyya, and on top of the shrine it will say, “Tariqat an- Naqshbandiyya al-`Aliyya” so that people know we have no attachment to anything in dunya, that it is above dunya, above physical matter. Tariqat an-Naqshbandiyya came to lift people closer to Allah (swt) and Prophet (s).
