ان بين يدي الساعة لأياما ينزل فيها الجهل ويرفع فيها العلم ويكثر فيها الهرج والمرج

Abu Moosa al-`Ashari (r) related from the Prophet (s):

Verily in front of me is the Hour, days in which knowledge will be lifted up, and in them ignorance will descend, and there will be great harj and maraj. And they asked what is harj. He said, “killing, killing.”

There will be no more scholars to take their place so people will take extremely ignorant leaders. They will be asked questions and will give fatwas (legal rulings) without knowledge. They are misguided and they misguide others. (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)

`AbdAllah bin Masood (r) explaining this hadith said, "Take hold of knowledge while it is available, as it will be taken up." (Hadith)

"... the Hour will not appear until the people are having sexual relations in the street like donkeys." I asked, "Is that really going to be?" He said, "Yes, it will be. The Hour will not come until a man takes a woman in the street (sexual relations), and the best of them that day is the one who sees that and says, “If only I was he and behind that wall (with that woman)." (Hadith)

عينان لاتمسهما النار عين بكت من خشيت الله وعين بات تحرس فى سبيل الله

`An abi rayhan aatayta an-Nabi (s) sami`tu rasoolullah yaqool: maa tara an-naar `aynun bakat min khashiyyatillah.

Prophet (s) said, "The eye which has dropped a tear from fear of Allah will never enter the Fire, nor an eye that has spent the night as a sentry in the way of Allah." (Hadith)

O Believers! I quoted some ahadith of the Signs of the Last Days. What is important, the Prophet (s) said one of the Signs of the Last Days is that knowledge will be lifted up. They (Sahabah) asked, "Will the Qur'an be lifted up?" No, but it means that the knowledgeable, practicing scholars will die and no one knowledgeable will replace them, and they will be replaced by ignorant scholars who will make (wrongful) fatwas and mislead people.

And the Prophet (s) said, if you want to enter Paradise you must do three or four small things. First, afshoo as-salaam, "Spread salaam." Say salaam to each other. Take anger from your heart, even against your enemy. Muslim brother, take enmity from your heart and be better than him or her. That is the order from Allah to every Muslim, say salaam to him or her. Alhamdulillah, in this zawiya everyone says salaam to each other, with the baraka of our shaykh.

Second: give food, offer food as much as you can, as Allah (swt) likes people to be sociable and hospitable, and to speak to each other about akhira and to speak about `ilm, knowledge.

Third: wake and pray when everyone else is sleeping; don't say "I am sleepy." Wake up and pray. Don’t say “I want to sleep! I am sleepy.” Wake up and pray. Allah is looking at those who pray before Fajr, who pray Fajr and who sit and worship after Fajr. So Prophet (s) said, spread salam, give food, pray at night and you will enter Paradise in peace with no account.
