(Mawlana Shaykh Nazim asks a visiting Bahraini shaykh to speak.)
(Guest: You are Mankind, made from flesh and blood and there is one part that is for remembering Allah, which is the heart. Allah (swt) made the shaykh our guide and a piece of our Prophet (s). Then pray on the Prophet (s), the brilliant sun, the first who will raise up from the Earth on Judgment Day, when he will ask Jibreel (a), “What day is this?” Jibreel (a) will say, “By Allah, the Earth will not open for anyone but you! This is Judgment Day.” Then he will ask, “What happened to my ummah after me?” where the Prophet (s) said, “The `ulama of my ummah are like the prophets of Bani Israa’eel.”
So be happy about this gathering and this hadrah as this is one of those gatherings about which the Prophet (s) mentioned, “The angels will come looking for people who are gathering to remember Allah, and the Lord will ask them, ‘For what are they gathered?’ They will say, ‘We came to people who are remembering You by tasbeeh, tahmeed and takbeer.’ Allah will ask, ‘What are they asking?’ and they will say, ‘They are asking for Paradise.’ Then He will ask, ‘Did they see it?’ and they will say, ‘By Allah, no!’ He then will say, ‘If they were to see it, they would be seeking it more and more.’” (This is such a gathering with this shaykh.)
The Prophet (s) continued, “Allah (swt) will ask, ‘What are they asking protection from?’ and they will say, ‘From the Fire.’ He will ask, ‘Did they see it?’ and they will say, ‘By Allah, no!’ He will say, ‘If they saw it they would be much more afraid of it.’” Allah swears by Himself that they are forgiven and we are with this shaykh hoping for him to open the doors of his wisdom.) (Du`a)
Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: You did excellently; may Allah (swt) do His best for you.

You made us happy! We are hoping for bukhuoor (incense) from Bahrain. No, oceans, oceans ...
O Servants of Allah! I am a weak servant. Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah, wa ash-hadu anna Sayyidina Muhammadan rasooluh. (Mawlana Shaykh stands). Zidhu yaa Rabbee `izzan wa sharafan nooran wa surooran, sultanan wa ridhwaana. Ameen yaa Rabb. O Allah! Praise your prophet and increase him in light and happiness and honor! (Mawlana Shaykh sits)
Our shaykh will speak to you about some of what is necessary, and the most necessary thing for servants is to learn servanthood.
O People! Try to learn the way of servanthood from our grandshaykhs and don’t be servants of Shaytan, because if anyone is following Shaytan he is not going to be a servant! Servanthood gives honor, but instead of making Mankind servants, Shaytan makes them slaves and, more than this, when he sees you are slaves, he changes you to another form and makes you donkeys. Slaves walk on two legs, but Shaytan is not happy with this so he changes you into donkeys on four legs, then puts a saddle on you and rides you! Now everyone from east to west and north to south are running to be donkeys for Shaytan, and I am sorry to say this is also happening in the Islamic world. Their leaders, governors and presidents represent Shaytan, who orders them, “Make them walk on four legs so you can ride on them!”
I am sorry and also angry, because it is not an honor for the Islamic world to change from Shari`atullah and ask for democracy! People are becoming ifreets (evil jinns) in Egypt, Libya, Tunis, Arabia, Yemen and Sham, all coming down because Shaytan makes people run to be his donkeys. They ask, “How can we make a living (without following that way)?”
Allah (swt) said, Ayyuha ’n-naas, wabtaghaw `inda rabbikum ar-rizq, “O Mankind! Seek your provision from your Lord!”
O People! Seek your provision from Allah Almighty; `abooduh, worship Him, and ask for what is important. Allah yaqool, ayyuhal `arab atafham al-`arabi, O Arabs! Do you understand Arabic?
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
Wa maa khalaqtu‘l-jinna wal-insa illa lI- y`abudoon.
I have only created jinn and men so that they may worship Me. (Surat adh-Dhariyat, 51:56)
Worship Him and seek your provision from your Lord, Allah Almighty, even if you have an extreme need. They say, “We are one-hundred people asking to change our government so it will give us more barley,” like barley is given to donkeys! You work for a person and he pays you, so why aren’t you working for Allah (swt), Who says, “We didn’t create jinn and Mankind except to worship Me and to be My servants! I am paying you, so work for Me and don't run to others.”
Allah (swt) has given provision to all the creatures on Earth! He is ar-Razzaq, “The Provider,” and He is paying you! So why are you asking for democracy and throwing away Shari`atullah? O Arabs! We are non-Arabs and (you think) we don't understand anything. “O Arabs! What are you doing with My Book, what did you understand?” (They answer,) “We did this and that.” Where are the Arabs? Woe to them! It is an order to seek your provision from your Lord and worship Him, because that is your servanthood. They left that duty and now Allah is sending whips on them. They say nothing, but if they are not coming to the true way they will be given training that first comes on the Arabs!
First, fitna came on the Islamic world when the Turks left Shari`atullah, then the Arabs, and then one after another they left it. Did Allah (swt) send Shari`atullah for animals in the mountains to follow, or for Man?
I am asking people, you are weak servants, so how are you getting such courage? They say they are making a constitution and voting, but that is haraam. That is what the Arabs are doing, but where are the Wahabi people, the Ikhwaan or the Salafi people, to say this is haraam? Ptuuh, we spit on you! They are shayaateen and ifreets and they understand my language. Their main goal is to say, “Don't touch the Prophet's maqaam, his grave!" Why don’t you say it is haraam to put your hands on the Ka`aba, the House of the Lord (which is permitted at Haram ash-Shareef Baytullah)?
(Mawlana Shaykh stands) Allahuma salli `alaa Sayyidina Muhammad! (Mawlana Shaykh sits) The essential dome is Sayyidina Muhammad (s), so why aren’t you turning your hearts to him? Because you don’t know where qiblah is! The Salafis say, “Don’t build quboor, tombs.” Inshaa-Allah curses will fall on their heads! That is their way, but why aren’t they saying that democracy, voting and elections are haraam? Isn’t Allah (swt) sending Qur’an al-`Azheem ash-Shaan to recite on dead people, to go to tombs and read there? They will be punished more than other people, the Salafi donkeys! You are kissing the Black Stone and it is not haraam; you kiss Hajar al-Aswaad (the Black Stone), saying it is the sunnah of Prophet (s) and all prophets to kiss it. Is the Black Stone as honored as Mankind? How can this be?
Allah (swt) said:
وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ
wa laqad karamna Bani Adam.
We have honored the Children of Adam. (al-'Israa, 17:70)
Kabbir, kubbir, give respect! Arabs are destroying Shari`atullah and Allah will give them the worst of punishments! They understand my English and my Arabic is also broken, but this shaykh from Bahrain has crossed oceans to come here. This suhbah is to remove the punishment from the ummah, although I am the weakest of servants, and this is for our masters from the Arabs! I am shy to speak in front of our master, the shaykh, and this suhbah is for his honor. I was tired and I didn’t want to speak, but this honorable shaykh's himmah, his zeal and high effort, made me address all the Muslims. If anyone comes and says, "You are wrong," they will be like Qaroon, who was swallowed by the Earth!
May Allah forgive us. O shaykh, I am tired; it is enough. You have given me enough himmah, Shaykh Effendi, for me to speak and there is no rejecting what I said. Astaghfirullah, tubtu wa rajaatu illah. O Allah! Send a king to us so that we may struggle in the Way of Allah, as You said in Holy Qur'an:
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الْمَلَإ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مُوسَى إِذْ قَالُوا لِنَبِيّ ٍ لَهُمْ ابْعَثْ لَنَا مَلِكا ً نُقَاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
Alam tara ila 'l-mala'i min banee israa'eela min ba`di Musa idh qaaloo li-nabiyyin lahumu ’b`ath lanaa malikan nuqaatil fee sabeelillah.
Have you not thought about the group of the Children of Israel after (the time of) Moses, when they said to a prophet of theirs, "Appoint for us a king and we will fight in Allah's Way." (al-Baqarah, 2:246)
A group among Bani Isra’eel asked their prophet to ask Allah to send a king to fight in the way of Allah, not a president and not a dictator! But now we don't want kings, as with democracy people think, “One day perhaps I will be president.” You are going to be president and your wife is going to be the First Lady, but you are not going to be the First Man, because the First Lady will never accept you if she is not riding on you like a donkey! Iba`th lanaa malikan. The Qur’an is for Arabs, Turks and all the Muslims, and we are saying, “Send us a king!”
O People! You must look for a sultan because democracy, voting and elections are all falsehood and any man who follows that way will never rest.Yaa Allah `alamna al-adaab, O Allah! Teach us good manners. Prophet (s) said:
ادبني ربي فأحسن تأديبي
Adaabanee rabbee fa ahsana taadeebee.
Allah taught and trained me in good manners and perfected my good character.
You don’t know who comes to our gatherings, and it is enough for us that you (our guest) brought your barakah and your words. Everyone is asking to be president, but that is not good; you are making a trick because there is no basis. It is not a real thing. Everyone is asking be the ruler and keep leadership within the family line, where the son will inherit from the father. If you know this, why did you take the sultans away?
May Allah forgive us! Yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah. Yaa Rabb! Ashfa` lana.
