Haqiqat (Divine Reality) is Only Opened to Those

with Perfect Manners towards the Shaykh

إن الحلال بين، وإن الحـرام بين

Sayyidina Muhammad (s) said, “What is halaal is very well known, what is haraam is very well known.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

We hope that Allah (swt) will give us, like He (swt) has given to the Sahaba (r). And the Master of Creation (s) has given so much from this importance to people. Love of Prophet (s) is the door and the key. That key will not open except by the blessings of the Prophet (s). It does not matter how much you run, it does not matter how much you get tired, it does not matter how much you have achieved, it will not open, unless with the blessings of Prophet (s). If these things open to a person it is not because they are important, no. The mercy has been given to them only because they have adab, good conduct. Through their adab it will open.

أدبني ربي فأحسن تأديبي

Adabanee Rabbee fa ahasana taadeebee.

Sayyidina Muhammad (s) said, “My Lord has taught me excellent manners and perfected my manners.” (al-`Askari in al-Amthaal, al-Asbahaani in Tareekh Isbahaan)

BE CAREFUL

any of you want to be in Tariqa, and further, in Haqiqa, Reality, you have to know that every word you utter has a meaning and only Allah (swt) can open that for you.

So the best is, as many times I heard Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) saying, "At-tariqatu maa raa'hu ash-shaykh, Tariqa is what the shaykh sees.” The shaykh might not see well, but he can receive many things through his heart. And no one can take it from him what Allah (swt) grants him. So be careful, if you want Haqiqatu ’sh-Shayy, the Reality of Things, you have to be careful, because it can be achieved by very small actions, and also, it can be lost by very small actions. That Reality of Things can be received through the power of the shaykh, he can open it for you. He does not need too much from you, he does not need to eat, nor does he need your money; already he receives accusations of carrying too much money. Your shaykh is not in need of you, nor your money. So, alhamdulillah, our shaykh does not need anything.

We have to be smart and understand well, and be ready to receive and reach the Realities, which do not come because you have a book. Forget books. But do not forget that you are between the hands of the shaykh. He does not need anything. If he opens it for you, he will open it. And if you want to give him your money, you give. If you don't want to give to him, don't give. The shaykh disperses to the mureed through very small giving, it is small from him, but it comes huge for us, as big as an elephant!

Subhan'Allah, how much we studied from our shaykh so many things, but we do not respond to it quickly. That is enough for now.
