Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. [Du`a.] Al-Fatihah.

Mahabbah laa tuqaddar. Love cannot be measured. Prophet (s) showed us in a Hadith al-`Ara`bee: a Bedouin came to Prophet (s) on the day of Jumu`ah, and the Prophet (a) was on the mimbar. Like us, we are Bedouins. Today people are not counted by numbers, they are counted by their love of Allah and His Prophet (s): when the angels come down, they only count the salawaat recited by a Muslim, or how much Qur’an or Hadith he read. It is not counted by one, two, three, four, five...these are Indian numbers, not the Arab Muslim numbers, like verses of the Holy Qur'an. Indians took that and used Arabic numbers; that message came all the way through Arab countries and stayed there like one, two, three, four. They took the Arabic way and are using it, and they say the Arabs don't know anything. No, Arabs know everything: Arabs have Awliya, and Ummat an-Nabi (s) have Awliya. The Awliya of Ummat an-Nabi (s) are stronger.

Awliya as-sa'ir al-jama`ah, as-sa’ir al muslimeen. Awliya are less because they speak in Arabic and on the Day of Judgement, if you want to speak about anything it is by Jannat al-Firdaws, whatever language they speak is the language of the Holy Qur'an and the Muslim community.

So I was thinking, some people are coming to me saying, "Who is the khalifah?" I didn't open my mouth, because it is not something that concerns us; it is between Awliya. We are not Awliya, we are normal people, but we are standing at the door of Awliya; we can take from there. Let us all take from the door of Awliya. We say: "Allahumma salli `alaa Muhammadin wa `alaa aali Muhammadin wa baarik wa sallim," or, "Allahumma salli `alaa Muhammadin wa `alaa aali Muhammadin wa sallim."

كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان ثقيلتان فى الميزان حبيبتان إلى الرحمن سبحان الله و بحمده سبحان الله العظيم

There are two words that are very easy to say, yet very heavy on the Scale, most beloved to The Merciful, “SubhaanAllah wa bihamdihi subhaanAllahi ’l-`Azheem.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Two words are heavy on the Scale and very light on the tongue. If you say these words daily, you are guaranteed Paradise with no questioning, and no one can know how much Allah will open for you!

Yaa Sayyidi, we are at your door! We are knocking, but you are not opening. Angels bring us some ideas that the lock is broken, so let's take that lock and break it on the head of Iblees, and then the door will be opened!

Sometimes there are strong Awliya, they do things strongly, and these Awliya are like strong angels, strong in their light, who bring everything for the sake of human beings. Let us not make them unhappy. If we make them happy, everything will be easy for us. If we make them angry, they will be busy asking istighfaar on your behalf. So, Muslims are lucky.

According to the Christian books, today is Christmas for them, but unfortunately there are Muslims who also celebrate Christmas. I will tell you a story that happened to me in New York. I was invited to a dinner because it was Ramadan. It was dinner hosted by pious, good people. They said, “The owner of the house is inviting you for dinner, and he is a rich person.” Things are not counted by who is rich and who is not. If you are rich, still angels will come and take you and your wealth. If you are rich, be careful of your actions because sometimes wealth makes you follow the way of anger, superiority, and arrogance, and you will not be happy with what you have. Allah took everything from Qaroon, so we have to be very careful.

So that Bedouin came to the Prophet (s) on Jumu’ah and the Prophet (s) was on the mimbar, and the Bedouin shouted, mata 's-sa`ah, yaa Rasoolullah, “When is the Day of Judgement, O Prophet?” Prophet (s) did not answer. Then he asked another time, the Prophet did not answer. Then he asked a third time, and Angel Jibreel (a) came and said, “Allah sends salaams to you and is asking you what you have prepared for Akhirah, because it is a heavy day.” So what kind value have you saved for that Day: how much love, istighfaar, salawaat, the things that keep us on track and make Awliyaullah love us?

Prophet (s) asked the Bedouin, “Jibreel (a) came and said Allah is asking you what you want. What have you prepared?”

He said, “I have prepared everything for that day. I am coming to you not because I am praying to save me, to give me shifa`a, but I am asking you out of love.”

Prophet (s) said, “People will be resurrected with whom they love.”

يحشر المرء مع من أحب

Each person will be resurrected with the one he loves. (Tabarani)

As we love our shuyookh, we are under shifa`a of Prophet (s), and we have to know that from their places they might be here, we don’t know. We know only that Prophet (s) loves us, Allah loves us, and Awliyaullah love us. Doing hadrah was prohibited and then it was allowed. Some people say don’t do hadrah, but it has been resumed. Actions are according to their intentions and their ending (conclusion), so our conclusion is that many love to do it, because it releases their energy outward, like many hadrah around the world.

So why does our hadrah have to be closed? We put this question in the hands of Awliyaullah. We don’t want to say do this or that, we say directly, “Yaa Sayyidee, yaa Rasoolullah!” We ask directly! Also it’s not adab, but there are two kinds of children, one with adab and one without. We are without adab! [Laughter.] Because when it comes to speak with Awliyaullah, you have to come clean, not dirty, so anything...cigarettes, even touching cigarettes is not allowed. So let us all make salawaat on Prophet (s) another time to prevent Shaytan arriving on us: Allahumma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallim. That’s enough to get that barakah from Grandshaykh `AbdAllah and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. I have a lot of stories about them, but everytime I come to say something about them some obstacles stand in my way, but inshaa-Allah we will win on them. Bi haqqi `Ismu `Azham: that is a Name that makes mu`ajizaat that Sayyidina Musa and Sayyidina Nuh (`alayhimu ‘s-salaam) were saved through. Many Awliya are asking Sayyidina Muhammad (s), what the secret is in it? I am afraid to mention it, but will say a little bit, especially this one, he wants to know, inshaa-Allah you and me will know one day, and inshaa-Allah everyone. Wa min Allahi at-Tawfeeq.

So the Bedouin entered Paradise and we are still here. He said to Prophet (s) , “It’s not with prayer and fasting coming to you, it’s love,” so love Sayyidina Muhammad (s). Allahumma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa barik `ala Sayyidina Muhammad. Wait for Mahdi’s coming, approaching.

Wa min Allahi ‘t-tawfeeq bi hurmati ‘l-habeeb bi hurmati ‘l-Fatihah.

[This person wants to take baya`.]

What is your name?

[Omar. I saw you in a dream and asked you to take baya`, and you said to find a safe place to take baya`, so I think that was a clear signal to take baya`.”]

[Baya`.]
