(Guest from Spain asks: I have this place for twelve years in the Naqshbandi energy, Shaykh `Abdul Wahid is making dhikr since two months. Do you have any idea how we can push the economy in this house?)
Fatihah.
(Translated from Turkish:) In the time of the Prophet (s), the Sahaabah (r) sometimes only ate three, five, or seven dates daily. They often had no money, but still worked to spread Islam. Inshaa-Allah, Allah will give you blessing and you will still do your job for Islam.
(English) Alhamdulillah we are not living for our stomachs or our physical beings, but we are living and working for Allah. If we are loving only who our Lord loves and we seek Eternal Life, we will not be cheated through this temporary life. Don’t be cheated for this life! So many things cheat people in this world, but cheating is also from Shaytan.
We must try to be happy with our health, our worshipping, and our heavenly loves as today we are here, but tomorrow we may be under ground. No one will take anything from their gold, jewels, palaces or adornments; all will leave that and take only this body to their grave! Therefore, don’t be cheated. Then our gardens, homes and palaces will finish. There is a time to be happy in them then no more, as that will end.
I was visiting Spain near Madrid, where Shaykh `Abdul Wahid and others of our brothers showed me a monastery from the time of Andalus. They later changed it to a monastery. As I recall, there was a big library of handwritten manuscripts, and they took me through that building and a bit further. The monastery was particularly established to provide a for cemetery for Spanish kings. Underground we went, and there was a sign saying, “Be Silent,” as we passed graves of emperors and kings. I said, “Allahu Akbar,” then I entered.
It was a circular building and around it graves of marble of emperors and kings, all of them now sleeping in a marble grave. I asked our guide how they left their kingdoms or empires. Whereas yesterday they said, “We are kings, emperors!” today they are calling us, “Don’t speak! All of us were cheated by Shaytan! We forgot that at the end of our lives we are going to be in a marble grave!”
For what we are saying this to you, my Spanish sons and daughters? All of you are like my granddaughters and grandsons. Do not be cheated, and do not say, “This is for me, that is for me, I must claim this, I must buy this, I must take this.” No! Then you are like a dead person, finished. Put your hands here and renew your baya`.
