Address to the Muslim World: Leave Your False Gods!

Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

27 October 2010 Lefke, Cyprus

(Translated from Arabic.)

Madad, yaa Rijaalallah, madad. (Mawlana Shaykh prays two raka`at, makes du`a) Fatihah. (Mawlana Shaykh kisses Qur'an al-Kareem.)

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajim. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. Laa hawla wa la quwatta illa billahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem. (Mawlana Shaykh stands) Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar! La ilaaha illa-Llah. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahi 'l-hamd! Allahumma salli 'alaa Sayyidina Muhammadan wa alihi wa saahbihi ... alfu salaat, alfu salaam ... `ibaadallah ... `ibaadallah ... shukr, yaa Rabbee! (Mawlana Shaykh sits. Looks through Holy Qur'an.)

O You Who Believe! As-salaamu `alaykum, ayyuhal mu'minoon. As-salaamu 'alaykum, yaa `ibaadAllah. With the madad of Heaven, Allah willing, I shall say what we need today, tomorrow, and after tomorrow, until the appearance of Mahdi, upon him thousands of salaams.

We say, a`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem. The first address is to the Arabs, to the believers among the Arabs, then the Persians, then the Turkmens, then the rest. The first address is to the Egyptians, to their learned people; second, to the learned of Syro-Palestine; third, to those of Baghdad; fourth, to Hijaaz; fifth, to Afghanistan; sixth, to the `ulamas of the Indian subcontinent; seventh, to Afghans; eighth, to Central Asia; ninth, to the Turks; tenth, to the `ulamas of Libya, North Africa, Sudan, Abyssinia, and the surrounding Muslim countries.

O Addressees! Hear and consider this message! I am a weak servant, but entrusted with declaring some of the missions bestowed upon you, of which all of you are heedless and ignorant!

O `ulamas of the Muslim world! O shaykhs of east and west, north and south! What do you think of the Glorious Qur'an? Is the Magnificent Qur'an only addressed to the noble Companions (s), or is it for all times? What do you say? It was revealed in the time of Prophet (s). What do you say? Is it only addressing the noble Companions, or is it addressing until the Day of Resurrection? Your reply is, "Yes, for all times until the Day of Resurrection!" The Qur'an al-Kareem addresses them because it is a book revealed in the time of Prophet (s) and that great Book is the Book of the Believers. They must necessarily take from it all their need, and its store is endless, its secrets, its sciences and its realities. Fine? Do you agree?

Arab Muslims, listen! Surat az-Zumar. Read, O Shaykh Hisham, the noble verse in Surat az-Zumar for the Arab Muslims:

وَالَّذِينَ اجْتَنَبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ أَنْ يَعْبُدُوهَا وَأَنَابُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ

Wa 'l-ladheena ajtanaboo at-taaghoota an ya`budoohaa wa 'anaaboo 'ilaa Allaahi lahumu al-bushraa fabashshir `ibaadi.

Those who avoid At-Taaghût (false deities) by not worshipping them, and who turn to Allaah in repentance, for them are glad tidings; so announce the good news to My servants. (Az-Zumar, 39:17)

O Shaykhs of al-Azhar! Are we addressed by it, yes or no? Yes, for all times! What does Allah (swt) say? "Those that avoid false gods." Allah (swt) announces to all people that in every era there must be false gods. Who are the false gods? What do you say, is there a false god in Egypt or not? Do not fear to answer, fear only Allah (swt)! In Egypt are there false gods or not? If you do not reply, Allah's anger will come on you, so answer, are there false gods or other in Egypt? What is its description? Are you afraid? Why do you not say if there is a taaghoot (false deity) in Egypt? Likewise the `ulamas of Libya, do you have a false god or not? Speak the truth! Who or what do you obey? `Ulamas of Algeria, likewise; is there a false god there or not?

The false gods as mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an are those whose teachings are other than the teachings of Islam. The Messenger of Allah (swt) says, "Allah curses the unbelievers." Those who do not say truth, curses descend on them. People of Libya, Sham, Iraq, Persia, Hind, `ulamas of the Turks, do they have false gods or not? Let them speak truth! And the false gods force them to worship them (i.e., to obey them in all things). What does Allah (swt) say? "Avoid false gods!" You must avoid them and tell them, "No welcome to you!" To the people of Paradise they say, "Welcome," and the angels say to the people of Hell, "No welcome!" Why do the Muslims say, "Welcome!" to false gods, for what reason? O idiots of al-Azhar! Do you not read His Address for all times?

Allah (swt) said:

Avoid following them, do not say welcome to them, do not obey them in anything!

Those that aid and abet them, do not say, "Welcome!" to them! Say to them as was said to as-Samiri, as Allah Most High ordered Sayyidina Musa (a) when as-Samiri told the Israelites, "This is your god," and told them to worship it.

O `ulamas of Azhar, Hijaaz, Yemen, the Arabian peninsula, Jordan, Iraq, Shaam, Afghanistan, Persia, India, Central Asia! Listen to a divine command, listen and think! It is of the utmost importance. Allah Most High told Sayyidina Musa (a) to say about as-Samiri:

Moses said, "Then go away!" And verily, your (punishment) in this life will be that you will say, "Touch me not (you will live alone exiled away from Mankind)!" And verily (for a future torment), you have a promise that will not fail. And look at your ilaah (god) to which you have been devoted. We will certainly burn it and scatter its particles in the sea! (Ta-Ha, 20:97)

Therefore, leave them and say to them, "Touch me not!"

O `ulamas! Where are you? This noble verse establishes that in every time there must be a false god and in our time the world is full of false gods! People must not listen to them, nor touch them, nor sit with them, nor speak with them, but leave them! You, the `ulamas, are being addressed by the Holy Qur'an so that the false gods hear as well. Beware of telling them you are the winners; only Allah (swt) has the upper hand. Only Allah! So leave them and reap the great good tidings for the Believers. Leave them and come to Allah (swt), be Allah's servants. Be Allah's servants and do not be servants to false gods. Where are the `ulamas of Azhar? Do not the exegetes understand this?

I am not a savant, but these are lordly inspirations (waridaat rabbaniyya); it is a word of warning. Allah (swt) warns them, "A hard strike shall descend upon you, except those that avoid false gods and do not worship them; they are not men!" Let the `ulamas say, "Men are in charge of women!" RijaalAllah, men of Allah! Help us with the favor of Allah! Who are these rijaalun? Those that ride upon their egoes and who tremble before Allah (swt) only. Are those men? Allah knows. If rijaalAllah, men of Allah, were to cast their gaze upon a false god, it would fall dead at once! Beware, beware! In Hijaaz, Libya, Sudan, Central Asia, Hind, China, and in non-Arab places. This noble verse is more brutal than your nuclear weapons. Be with rijaalAllah and leave the others, do not welcome them, respond to them, or obey them; that is finished! They shall remain only as as-Samiri, "Touch me not!"

O Muslims of East and West! Do as our Lord says and leave them, avoid them, be as far from them as a human being goes when seeing someone with a highly contagious disease. O Believers! You must see those false gods as a contagious shaytanic plague from which whoever is contaminated loses, here and Hereafter!

O `ulamas! What does it mean? Those false gods force you to obey them and they are on a path other than Islam. Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan; none of them are on the path of Islam!

O Believers! Leave that path of false gods: do not respond to them, do not obey their orders, but repent to Allah and return to Him. Say, "Allah is All-Living, All-Powerful! Do not fear!" Believers, do not fear! From this today up to the day of al-Mahdi (a), avoid them! Leave them and come to what Allah Most High has commanded, and obey Him! This noble verse is like a nuclear bomb in the Muslim world; it is from the Qur'an, not from me. If there is one of their `ulamas who understands, let him rise on the pulpit and dare to say about this verse that its meaning is other than what we have said! He would fall dead before he comes down. Do not say to them, "Glad tidings to you," but (only) to those who leave false gods and do not obey them. Millions of people are following them. What depravity is that, what apathy! They are following other than the command of Allah, so why do they raise their idols?

Like Saddam Hussein: he was a false god. Allah (swt) unleashed powers on the people of Iraq because they aided him. They would bring statues of Saddam for people to see, and to force righteous servants of Allah to kill and suppress others only for their false gods in Iraq! In Hijaaz, I feel shy to say anything; they know their situation, whether their king is from the righteous or the non-righteous. Whether he is from the false gods or the righteous kings calling people to Islam, they are witnesses. It is impermissible that there be a false god in Hijaaz, but the world has made people worship them, the lower world (dunya). La hawla wa laa quwwata illa billah! La hawla wa laa quwwata illa billah! La hawla wa laa quwwata illa billah! There is no power nor change except by Allah Most High. Astaghfirullah! I ask forgiveness of Allah!

O Muslims! Go east and west; if you have any false god, tell them, "Do not touch me! There is no welcome to you, no obedience." Only follow those who call to repentance. Walk with them and Allah shall lift up affliction; otherwise, it is impossible. The power of those false gods is from the shaytanic world. Leave them, do not interact with them. Tell them, "Do not touch me, because you suffer from a contagious disease." Like someone with AIDS; leave them, do not touch them, come to your nations and Allah (swt) shall protect you.

O Servants! O `ulamas! Allah (swt) said:

كُلُّ نَفْس ٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ

kullu nafsin dhaa'iqatu al-mawt.

Everyone will taste death. (Al-Anbiya 21:35)

qul 'inna al-mawta al-ladhī tafirroona minhu fa'innahu mulaaqīkum thumma turaddoona 'ilaa `aalimi al-ghaybi wa ash-shahaadati fayunabbi'ukum bimaa kuntum ta`maloon.

Say (to them), "Verily, the death from which you flee will surely meet you, then you will be sent back to (Allah), the All-Knower of the Unseen and the Seen,

and He will tell you what you used to do." (Al-Jumu'ah 62:8)

O `ulamas! There is no escape. Who have in their countries false gods, tyrants, leave them and tell them, "Do no touch. No obedience to you." Our Prophet (s) said, "There is no obedience due to creatures (who are) in disobedience to the Creator." What do you think of this hadeeth? Shaykhs of Egypt, Libya, Hijaaz, Turkey, why do they not speak? There shall descend on them tornadoes and burning fires (shuhub) from the Lord of Heavens. Fear Allah!

O Servants! O false gods, make way for the righteous; you are not of the righteous, but you are false gods. If you do not leave the seats of power, burning fires shall descend on you and kill you, but not by the hands of people! Or a sickness shall kill you between night and the next morning.

O People of Yemen, whom the Prophet (s) loved! Among you is there a false god or not, who is marching you on other than righteousness? Fear not, say! Repent to Allah (swt)! O believers who live under the rule of false gods; leave them and Allah (swt) shall protect you! Give glad tidings to the servants then; they have the good news. For whom? For those that leave false gods and return to Allah Most High.

I have declared and spoken out, yaa Sayyidi 'l-Awwaleen wa 'l-Akhireen!

I have declared and spoken out, yaa Sayyidi 'l-Awwaleen wa 'l-Akhireen!

I have declared and spoken out, yaa Sayyidi 'l-Awwaleen wa 'l-Akhireen, O Master of the Firsts and the Lasts!

Their very graves will expel them and not let them stay under the Earth. This is the warning for false gods as well! May Allah forgive us.

O Believers! Beware also; in Arab and non-Arab countries, are there false gods or not? In Hind, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Yemen, are there false gods or not? And Allah Most High says, "Be of those who avoid the worship of false gods, and of those that command people to worship them." Fie on them! Curses of Allah on every false god!

O People! If you feel weak, say daily, RabbunAllah, HasbunAllah. Let the people of Egypt, Libya and Syria say this for forty days and there shall not remain a single false god. As for the maghrib (west), they have descendants of the Prophet (s), so say it and Allah (swt) shall remove them and remove fear from them; you shall beat them in one move!

O People of Paradise! You have good tidings; there is no fear. Give glad tidings to the believers! This is my address to the `ulamas, from the Messenger (s) to human beings and jinn, the most high who has travelled to the Praiseworthy Station. Who then is left to give glad tidings? Who shall give glad tidings to the `ulamas, to the righteous?

O `ibaadAllah as-saaliheen, Righteous Ones! You too, rise with the solid law of Islam! Allah's address is to you also: give glad tidings to people (an-naas) and to special servants (`ibaad). This is for their magnification. No fear, O Muslim world, for the false gods and the people of unbelief. This is a simple summary, a simple warning to the ummah from the first to the last. I have conveyed (ballaghtou) from the heart and this is news from the Unseen World, not from my own. I do not think that anyone has explained it this way ever before. Tawbah yaa Rabbee! Tawbah yaa Rabbee! Tawbah yaa Rabbee! And this is in preparation for al-Mahdi (s), so people shall welcome him; in the presence of false gods they will not welcome him, so leave them!

O People! Therefore say, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah. When you go to Hajj, you are tasked to remember Allah (swt) a lot, and that is what Allah tasks men with. Do not cry out like animals in the streets because you are more noble than that, but rather say, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah . Allah Most High will want to cast strength on your hearts, and among people you shall rise. That is your weapon!

O Believers! O `ulamas! Say always, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah . Any difficulty upon which this recitation descends will be cleared, and any person in difficulty who says it, their difficulty will be resolved.

(Shaykh Hisham Effendi: Allah's will be done, so beautiful.)

Remember ayaatul-kareemah, the noble verse of Qur'an:

Those who avoid at-taaghoot (false deities) by not worshipping them, and who turn to Allah in repentance, for them are glad tidings; so announce the good news to My servants. (39:17)

So beautiful! Therefore, say, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, and avoid false gods. Your Lord has promised you good tidings in this world and the Next.

O our Lord! O our Lord! O our Lord! We believe, we repent! To all Believers, east and west, glad tidings: the promise of Allah (swt) is true! To those who follow this verse and return to Allah, there is protection, safety, power and majesty.

O Noble Ones! My Arabic is limited, but let them understand. The Muslim world must understand this noble verse from Surat az-Zumar, verse 17, how very beautiful. The Lord of Might shows us in it the way of safety and protection, honor and dignity; in one single verse it is enough. Avoid false gods! You have glad tidings, and repent to Allah (swt).

O Muslims, and the whole Muslim world! If you are happy, Allah (swt) is happy with you; if not, He is unhappy. Welcome, welcome O Messenger of my Lord! Allah, Allah! I am weak, unable, but there must be a good guide to the servants so they do not fall in the snare of the enemy. Let every false god who hears this speech fear these words and leave their post! Let them quickly disappear among people; this is the result of their killing and dragging King Faysal of Iraq, who is from the Prophet's family, behind a car in Iraq!

O my Lord! By Your power, give us the strength, courage and enthusiasm that belongs to the noble Companions (r)! Just one drop of their sea is enough for us! O our Lord! You are the Glorified One, You are the Sultan! O Glorified One, You are the Sultan! O Glorified One, You are the Sultan! O `ulamas who are in the mosques with the people, say "O Glorified One, O Sultan!"

O People! Say RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah, then from now to Muharram that one shall be toppled and inshaa-Allah, all of the tyrants shall be removed! Let them beware, warning has been served! I wish not to linger in this world, but they make me linger to warn the servants, like the ant. She said:

One of the ants said, "O ants! Enter your homes unless Sulayman and his armies unknowingly trample you. (an-Naml, 27:18)

O People! This is a sufficient example. I want to tell you, `ulamas, shaykhs, presidents, kings! This servant is addressing you, and my similitude is as the ant that was running. One who possesses the spiritual station, who is forgiven in the Divine Presence, saw her and asked, "Why are you rushing?" She did not reply because she was preoccupied. After a while she returned and said, "O servant of my Lord! I did not reply because I was holding water in my mouth; I was rushing to extinguish the fire of Nimrod. That fire was like the mountains!" (The narrator who described it said its fire was visible in Iraq from the land of Syria.) "Just so my name can be recorded that I took a stand against Nimrod even though I know I cannot reach!"

O Believers! Do your best, so that your names will be recorded in the record of those who want to extinguish the darkness of unbelief! This is my entire claim: I am like the ant throwing water on the fire of Shaytan that has spread among the Muslims. I want to extinguish it, and when my two feet are in the grave I will still want to do that!

(Shaykh Hisham Effendi: After a long life, Sayyidee!)

O my Lord! You are relenting! Accept my repentence, O my Lord! Yaa Rabb! These are your servants; you may do with them do as you like! No one knows other than You; and you informed your Habeeb (s). In order for me to be at their service, I want to be like that ant that wanted to extinguish Nimrod's fire! I am nothing among people; yet her name is now mentioned in their books as, "The ant that ran to put out Nimrod's fire."

O `ulamas! Where are you? Why do you not run to put out the fires of kufr and you allow unbelief, hypocrisy and dissension rule? Why do you not open wide your doors and give people the power that makes them throw out false gods? Remember Allah and pay attention, pay attention, pay attention! If you do not heed what Allah (swt) has warned you of, there shall be dire consequences that you will abhor!

O People! Repent to your Lord! From Allah is all success. This is an ocean and I am weak; only with blessing I spoke, hence this address! (Sultan laughs) From Allah is all success!

Yaa Allah! Convey on our part, I have conveyed that you are the Sultan! Let Your servants hear, RabbunAllah HasbunAllah! Let Madad al-Haqq descend on us; Shaykh Hisham is of them. Glory to Allah! Are you all pleased? This khitaab is powerful!

(Shaykh Hisham Effendi: Mashaa-Allah, we have not heard before that the taaghoot are the governors, but only devils and false gods.)

It refers to one and many, humans and jinn all at the same time, the definite article pointing to inclusion (istighraq) and generality (`umum). May Allah cause them to perish and put them under our feet, and so whoever rebels against the orders of Allah, change all the rulings and put back the rulings brought by Sayyidi 'l-Awwaleen wa 'l-Akhireen, Master of the Firsts and the Lasts (s)!

O `ulamas! This is a last warning for you to repent! Tawbah, yaa Allah. Tawbah, yaa Allah. Tawbah, yaa Allah!

Perhaps I spoke one whole hour.

(Shaykh Hisham Effendi: More Sayyidee, 1.5 hours!)

Alhamdulillah! You have energy; talk, talk, talk! This is a bombardment that will destroy the whole world. I will destroy anyone who comes against this! It is an order for me and I will not leave anyone one of them! This is a command from Allah that all `ulamas and kings must follow! If not, I myself shall enforce the law among those women! From Allah is all success! Astaghfirullah.

As-salaamu `alaykum! Those who repent, Allah will bless the righteous in their persons, families, possessions, and states, and I shall be their close ally here and Hereafter. Fatihah. We defend truth!

(Shaykh Hisham Effendi: You defend truth, Sayyidee!)

I wish nothing but to convey what I have received. Others also need bombardment, but there is no time left.

(Shaykh Hisham Effendi: Mawlana, there are 1.5 hours until Maghrib!)

No, it can't be. This is not our command. If it were, we would speak (more), but rather it is a command for us to make tableegh. Have you ever seen such an alaamat before? They are opening for us. How many times I said, "Don't open this (live broadcast) right now, as I will say this (address) to everyone in particular. I will inform people."

(Shaykh Hisham Effendi: How many times did we read this verse without thinking of this meaning, Sayyidee? "Namla" is the feminine form for "ant." What is its masculine form?)

(We used the) feminine because the men are walking behind the women! Tawbah yaa Rabbee, tawbah, astaghfirullah! There is also another ayaatul-kareemah, but I can't say that right now, I don't have the endurance.

(Shaykh Hisham Effendi: Mawlana, you reflected jalaal wal jamaal, majesty and beauty, all at once!)

I didn't have any strength, but to make this tablighaat, announcement, they sent you here, Shaykh Hisham!

(Mawlana sings a Turkish ilaahi.)

Şol cennetin gülzârına,

girsun bugün Allah diyen,

girsun bugün Allah diyen.

Enter the rose garden of this Paradise,

the one who says "Allah," enter today!

the one who says "Allah," enter today!

Kanmak içun enhârîna,

girsun bugün Allah diyen.

To fully quench thirst from Your rivers,

the one who says "Allah," drink today!

Allah diyen!

The one who says "Allah!"

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, KareemAllah!

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, SubhanAllah!

Allah Allah, Allah Allah, Allah Allah, SultaanAllah!

Fatihah.

(87 minutes)

(Mawlana Shaykh prays two raka`at Salaat ash-Shukr.)

Allah forgive you! Allah forgive you! Allah forgive you! (Sultan kisses Shaykh Hisham Effendi on his head.)

Ptuuh, spit on false gods! O Hisham Effendi, this is very crucial: to be defeated by your nafs will not do, you have to run away from it!
