A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.
(Someone takes baya`.) May Allah accept from all of you. In the previous times, they did not give baya` so easily and our shuyookh, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani (q), Grandshaykh `AbdAllah al-Fa'iz ad-Daghestani (q) and the entire Naqshbandi Golden Chain, were not authorized to give baya`. I remember that Grandshaykh (q) gave baya` to only two people and no one else, because baya` has conditions. You have to really study Shari`ah, meaning you must finish your courses of tafseer, hadith, Qur'an and fiqh. When you build your infrastructure is when they give you baya`.
So baya` is not so cheap, but when Grandshakh (q) passed away and the tariqah came in the hand of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), he traveled a lot and saw the great darkness that is spread across the world. He wanted everyone to be dressed with Allah's Rahmah. So he was giving baya` to anyone who came and ask for it, whether physically, by telephone, by website or by any of the representatives who are scattered all over the globe, as Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) has thousands of representatives. They are authorized to give baya` to spread that Rahmah. So this is a Rahmah that we are blessed with and that is why the baya` is now given without checking, only in the name of baya` that brings Rahmatullah. May Allah bless us, forgive us and accept from us. Bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
[Khatm.]
Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. Kalimataan khafeefataan `ala al-lisaan thaqeelataan fi ’l-meezaan, subhaan-Allah wa bihamdihi subhaanAllahi 'l-`Azheem. Istaghfirullah.
Prophet (s) said:
كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان ثقيلتان فى الميزان حبيبتان إلى الرحمن سبحان الله و بحمده سبحان الله العظيم
There are two words that are very easy to say, yet very heavy on the Scale, most beloved to The Merciful: “Glory be to Allah and His praise, Glory be to Allah the Tremendous.”
And you may also add "istaghfirullah" at the end. Allah gave these two words to humanity to say and enter Heaven. "Say these two words, O mu'min, believers who believe in Me, and enter Paradise!" Kalimataan khafeefataan `ala al-lisaan thaqeelataan fi ’l-meezaan: SubhaanAllah wa bihamdihi subhaanAllahi ’l-`Azheem; istaghfirullah. There are two words that are very easy to say, yet very heavy on the Scale: SubhaanAllah wa bihamdihi subhaanAllahi ’l-`Azheem; istaghfirullah.”
Allah (swt) guided us through prophets from the beginning of Earth up to Prophet (s), to guide humanity as it needs guidance. Everything in this universe needs guidance as it doesn't work without guidance. And His Guidance is through these prophets and awliyaullah; wherever they go and whatever they do, they are between the Hands of Allah (swt), between His Fingers.
Allah (swt) said in the hadith of Prophet (s):
ما وسعني أرضي ولا سمائي ولكن وسعني قلب عبدي المؤمن
Neither My Heavens nor My Earth contain Me, but the heart of My believing servant contains Me.
(Hadith Qudsi, Al-Ihya of Imam al-Ghazali)
It is also related that Allah (swt) said:
قلب الموءمن بيت الرب
The heart of the Believer is the House of the Lord.
So we go to Mecca, to the Ka`bah to pray and we pray there from every direction, not just one. There are four directions and sometimes you even have corners. Allah's House is there, but more importantly, Allah's Beautiful Names and Attributes descend from Heavens and dress the Ka`bah every moment. The Ka`bah gets dressed with all these beautiful dresses. When someone in dunya has a nice dress, people begin to compliment them on it. The Ka`bah is being dressed with Allah's Beautiful Names and Attributes, as it is the House of Allah, and since it is the House of Allah according to the hadith of Prophet (s), the heart of the believer is the House of Allah (swt). It means that if we were decent and good people, we love each other and extend our hands to one another, then our hearts will be the House of Allah (swt), where His Beautiful Light will be dressed on it with Noorun `ala noor, "Light upon Light."
This dunya and everything in it is light. You might ask, "What is light?" Light is energy. If you have one piece of metal weighing one ton or a container full of merchandise, can you carry it? You cannot, you will need a crane or lift to raise it up, and it will. What makes the crane to be able to raise it? It is the engine. What is the engine? It is light, energy. So that energy enables the crane to carry a container. If you use the energy that is within your heart, you can carry this universe, not only a container! The energy that is coming through our heart is millions and millions of times greater than any source that produces energy, such as from water or atomic plants. So if you control the heart of the believer well and zoom in on it with concentration, you can reach the hearts of people like a beam anywhere across the world!
These awliya that we just visited here in this masjid of Sayyidina Shamsuddin Habibullah Jan-i-Janan (q) and `AbdAllah ad-Dahlawi (q), their life is energy. They were energy and could move with that energy. They can carry the difficulties and problems from the ummah and from their followers. They can keep them happy and safe, because they are using heavenly energy, not dunya energy. Dunya energy can be used to make light to run the air conditioner, a video camera or a television, but the source is one: energy. It can be channeled into different instruments. Our body has different instruments: hands, fingers, arms, legs and heart. If you send the right energy, voltage and amps to the heart, it will become heavenly and never die. Mootoo qabla an tamoot, “Die before you die.” He will drop dunya from his eyes and that light and energy from the heart will appear and make you everliving inshaa-Allah in dunya and Akhirah, in happiness and with blessings of Allah (swt), and also with shafa`at an-Nabi (s), because everything comes from Prophet (s): Allah dresses him and he dresses the ummah.
May Allah forgive us and bless us. Bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
[Mawlana approaches a stone slab.] This is the stone upon which they prayed and then rest their head on a brick over it to sleep. All of them did this, one after the other. After one died, the next khalifah came and used it. (Mawlana makes sajda.) Their graves are colorful, as they are from Heaven.
