... the highest level of Shari`ah. It’s not simple. Prophet (s) was worshiping until his feet were swollen although....he is masoom (innocent, free of sin). So this scholar was sitting and this turban was going around, going around, and every shaykh wants to get the turban on their heads. Some of were them standing, some of them were sitting and the turban was going around and went all the way towards the door where these people are sitting by the shoes, and the turban goes on one of their heads.
He was the khalifah of the shaykh, but he was the most humble between them. ....
وَعَلَّمْنَاهُ مِن لَّدُنَّا عِلْمًا
Wa `alamna min ladunna `ilma...
We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. (18:65)
when you are humble, you don’t need a teacher then as Allah (swt) will teach you from heavenly knowledge, a teacher will direct you. So I didn’t want to say something, but Mawlana, my shaykh, may Allah (swt) give him long life, he said to say it. Just now when they were reciting (here), stand up so they see you, at the beginning when he was reciting with his group, that’s when Allah (swt) wants to give. Allah (swt) doesn’t ask when He wants to give, He gives in a moment! It attracts inaayatullah, signs of Allah come on that person.
At that moment, Prophet (s) was looking at this majlis! (takbeer) There was a vision from Prophet (s), because of qaseedas that person was reciting, and one word he said, which I’m not going to say, attracted the sight of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) on us!
That attraction is enough for us in dunya and akhirah. It is more valuable than all the wealth of this dunya, it is more valuable than the wealth of anything, that nazar i-Nabi (s)! One glance from Prophet (s) is enough to make everyone under his mercy in Paradise with him! Our coming here is by the invitation of two brothers, two good people, Shaykh Abdul Hameed and Shaykh Muhammad Jameel; stand up. By their invitation, I came here by Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s order and I didn’t realize why I am coming here. At that moment just now when he was reciting, I said to myself, "I came here to get that one look from Prophet (s)!" (takbeer)
As I said, I am nothing; I hope to make myself nothing. And with the barakah of our shuyookh whose spirits are here, from our shuyookh who are living and who have died. Don’t think that our shuyookh are far away, no! I’ll tell you a story. My shaykh, Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, may Allah (swt) give him long life! May Allah (swt) grant him to be always in the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! May Allah (swt) grant us to be always in the presence of Prophet (s)! We are holding their jubbas, robes of our shuyookh! Here today we have Qadiriyyah, Naqshbandiyyah, Shadiliyyah, and Bahaliyyah, and I don’t know if there are Jahariyyah or Samaaniyyah or Muridiyyah here today. All tariqahs, multamisan, all of them, are taking from Prophet (s)!
Two years ago, Mawlana Shaykh said to me, “Go to Kenya.” I said, “Inshaa-Allah I will go,” and I didn’t go. He was saying to go to Kenya, so what you can understand is, don’t be like the people of Sayyidina Musa (a) when he told them to slaughter a cow, and they asked what type of cow, what kind of eyes, what color, etc. It means don't ask anything, but Mawlana didn’t say in what year to go! So, don’t try to perfume (the issue), he left it open when to go and I said inshaa-Allah I will go. Two months later when I left Cyprus and came back in winter, upstairs Mawlana opened a drawer and he gave me an envelope. He said to me, “Find this man.” I opened the envelope and there was a picture of a shaykh whom it is impossible to find. I said, “Mawlana?” He said, “Read what is written there.” I read, “Shaykh Hussayn.” I said "okay," took the envelope, took the pictures, and gave it to someone who always goes to Ghana and said to him, “You phone the shaykh (to arrange it).”
He went and came after this month. He said, "No such man exists in the whole of Ghana! There’s no such man." I went to Cyprus and I said to my shaykh... Look when the shaykh wants something, when you have the barakah of the shaykh, everything happens. I said, “ Mawlana, he does not exist.” He said, “This one is interested in Naqshbandi Tariqah, go and find him!” So then I said, “I’m going to go Kenya.” He said, “Find this one; he is in Ghana.” Ghana is where and Kenya is where? So I took the pictures and went, and by mistake I didn’t bring the pictures with me to Ghana. We landed in the airport in Ghana and stayed in the transit lounge, bound for Ivory Coast, where we met with the national chief imaam and with a few imaams. So I asked them if they know anyone named Shaykh Hussayn, and no one knew of him. I went to Ivory Coast, then came back to Ghana and stayed there six days before coming here to Kenya. And there, I saw that shaykh sitting in the room! I looked at him and he looked at me.
I said, “Are you Shaykh Hussayn?”
He said, “Yes! Is your shaykh Mawlana Shaykh Nazim?”
I said, “Yes!”
He said, “Oh! Since I was 15 years old I was searching for him (he is now like 80 years of age). He came to me in my dream and he said, 'You have to take Naqshbandi Tariqah,' and I was never able to reach him.”
He doesn’t have computer to find "search online". He has an orphanage school.
PART 2 (2nd video)
Sujoodi Adam, he ordered them to make sajdah to Adam (a). It’s Allah’s order, “Be!” and it has to be, “Make sajdah and don’t question!” He ordered to make sajdah, not for Adam (a) but for noora ‘n-Nabi (s)! As soon as they went in sajdah, they saw Sayyidina Muhammad in Adam (a). Allahumma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! Angels were always seeing Adam, but when Allah (swt) ordered them to make sajdah, Allah (swt) wanted to introduce them to make them know they are under Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and that Allah (swt) created them for Sayyidina Muhammad (s). That’s why when they made that sajdah, they didn’t know they are going to see that light of Muhammadur Rasoolullah, and that light appeared, and their sajdah was complete. It is the sajdah of respect for Prophet (s), not sajdah of worshipness. Sajdah of worshipness is only for Allah (swt).
O Muslims! We must open our minds a little bit and read between the lines, then we see great things, great knowledge there. Allah (swt) said in Hadith Qudsi, “Neither My heavens or My earths could contain me, but the heart of the believer contains me.” Who is that believer? Us, or Sayyidina Muhammad (s)? He is the believer, Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! (Mawlana stands.) He is the believer, we are not yet coming to that level, we are running on the way. Allahumma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad hatta yarda `ala Sayyidina Muhammad! (Mawlana sits.)
And Prophet (s) said in another hadith, Qalba 'l-mu’min, baytu ’r-rabb, “The heart of the believer is the house of Allah (swt).” What is ‘the House of Allah’? Where is the House of Allah? Come, Ka`abatu ‘l-Musharrafah, qalbin mu’min, baytullah hiya al-Ka`aba, Qalb an-Nabi (s) huwa 'l-Ka`aba. The heart of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) is the real Ka`aba for Muslims! That’s why when he was the ameer of that time, Imam Malik (r) made du`a facing Sayyidina Muhammad (s), Muwwajah ash-Shareefah. He said, “Make du`a facing the muwwajah of Prophet (s) because to Allah (swt), he is the Ka`aba.” The greatness of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) cannot be described, but what we are doing here, we are doing salawaat by the order of Allah (swt).
O Believers! Let’s send salawaat on Prophet (s)! Allah (swt) didn’t say how much, He ordered, salloo `alayh, continuously, non-stop till the Day of Judgment. That is what is pleases Allah (swt)!
innallaha wa mala`ikatuhu yasalluna `alan nabi.
Inna Allaha wa malaaikatahu yusalloona `ala an-nabiyyi yaa ayyuha alladheena aamanoo salloo `alayhi wa sallimoo tasleema.
Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. (33:56)
Allah and his angels sending salawaat on his Prophet continuously, non-stop! All mu’min, Muslims, you have to follow the way Allah (swt) has shown us to make salawaat day and night, don’t worry!
Allahuma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad. How did awliyaullah reach wilaayah? By sending salawaat on Prophet (s)! It means when they we are reciting, not as we recite, for we are nothing, we are dirt, we are soil, we are stones, pebbles. Imam Muhammad al-Busayri (r) was a big wali but he said that he is a pebble, no comparison to Prophet (s). Today, if children have money or if people are rich and do something for people, they think they are the king of dunya. “I’m helping, I’m doing this!” WHO ARE YOU? You are nothing! If Allah (swt) takes everything, what will happen to you? Allah (swt) took everything from Qaroon, and what happened to him? Don’t be in arguments with your money, but instead be humble with your money, which means give it away to the needy, to the poor people, donate one time, make meetings like this meeting.
A student came asking one question; they allowed people to ask question even though it is bad manners to ask your shaykh a question. The shaykh knows, so don’t ask him a question, but if he asks you a question, you must answer. But don’t ask. Sayyidina Muhammad (s) never asked one question in the whole time. Even for bara`ah (innocence) for Sayyida Ayesha (r) he didn’t ask, but Allah (swt) revealed in Holy Qur'an that she is pure, and who the munaafiqoon (hypocrites) were that were making fitnah on that issue. Prophet (s) waited one month but Sayyidina Jibreel (a) didn’t come, and Prophet (s) was anxious to get a message regarding the innocence of Sayyida Ayesha (r), and Allah (swt) left it one month.
Look how much Allah (swt) gave tests to Prophet (s)! He is the Seal of Messengers (s) and Allah (swt) created him first before creating anyone, and gave him difficulties! Are you not expecting difficulties in your life? So be humble, and how to be humble if you are a rich person? You want more, then thank Allah (swt) more! Do not thank Allah (swt) by keeping your accounts increasing, thank Him by giving more, and don’t think your account will be less; it will increase more and more, and opening more and more business!
Prophet (s) said, “A rich man who thanks Allah (swt) is always is better than a poor worshiper.” Why? Because the rich man can give and thank Allah, he can help so many others, but the poor one cannot help except himself.
O Muslims! Be rich and in our richness, not our dunya, don’t be happy in dunya over this and this, be happy if you have something for your akhirah. Imam Busayri knew he is a pebble; he said, “I am a pebble and yaa Muhammad, you are a heavenly jewel!” A heavenly yaqoot (ruby), not earthly yaqoot; the earthly yaqoot is an imitation of the heavenly yaqoot. Wait till you see the heavenly yaqoot!
