Hadith Pertaining to Tyrants

Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

14 May 2011 Lefke, Cyprus

The revelation through wahiyy by Allah (swt):

Narrated Safwan bin Ya`la bin Umaiya (r) from his father, who said, "A man came to the Prophet while he was at Ji'rana. The man was wearing a cloak which had traces of khaluq or sufra (perfume). The man asked (the Prophet), 'What do you order me to perform in my `umrah?' So, Allah sent revelation to the Prophet and they screened him with a piece of cloth. I wished to see the Prophet being revealed from the Divine Presence.. `Umar said to me, 'Come! Would you like to see the Prophet while Allah is sending revelation on him?' I replied in the affirmative. `Umar lifted one corner of the cloth and I looked at the Prophet (s), who was snoring. (The sub-narrator thought that he said: The snoring was like that of a camel). When that state was over, the Prophet asked, ‘Where is the questioner who asked about `umrah? Put off your cloak and wash away the traces of khaluq from your body and clean the sufra (yellow color) and perform in your `umrah what you perform in your Hajj (i.e. the tawaaf round the Ka`aba and the sa`ee between Safa and Marwa).’" (Sahih Bukhari)

This explains the proof of how the face of the Prophet (s) became red when revelations used to come on him, the third proof of revelation. This is a good (hadith). There is a quotation…

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: “Goodness comes only with goodness and the goodness doesn’t come with evil, and aid is given and taken only to its possessor.” Sayyidee, this is what you are always working at. Here Sayyidee (it says): “And this support is sweet, if he takes according to his right and puts according to his rights, then he has blessed support.” It means if a person takes money according to his right and gives back according to his right then he has a blessed support. “And the one that doesn’t take according to his right is like a person who eats and never gets satisfied.”

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: That which is not in his right.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: Whoever takes what is not in his right, eats and eats but is never satisfies and the one who takes and give what is in his right then he has a blessed support.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: His eyes are never satisfied, his stomach as well, if he take what is not in his right. This is important news, pointing to the tyrants.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: May Allah reward us Sayyidee. This is important Sayyidee, this hadith that you wrote.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: If asked, “does goodness come from evil?”

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: Yes, Sayyidee, can goodness come with evil.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: Its example is like a pig: does a pig give birth to a lamb? No, it doesn’t. From foulness comes foulness, goodness gives goodness, and evil gives evil. This means it is an important matter. SubhaanAllah. SubhaanAllah, Hisham Effendi.
