I will have Hisham Effendi make a copy of that book for me. Everyone must know that Imam Suyuti’s hadiths are very powerful. Regarding Imam Suyuti’s level, they say that he used to meet with Prophet (s) yakazhatan, in a waking state. (Amanna wa sadaqna!) I love Imam Suyuti very much!
Shaykh Yahya Sabbah Hazretleri, may Allah sanctify his secret, used to go to Muhyiddin Ibn `Arabi Mosque for jumu`ah prayers. When you enter the mosque, his maqaam is on the left side, above the stairs. That is where Shaykh Yahya used to sit and make takreer. Although he was ummiyy, unlettered, he used to make suhbahs from Ibn `Arabi’s suhbahs, and he always kept six or seven people around him.Whenever Grandshaykh (q) would pass by, Shaykh Yahya would immediately stand up to greet him. And he was quite a heavy man, so it would take four men to lift him up just so he could hug and kiss Grandshaykh (q). After greeting and making du`as for each other he would then go back up. In fact, whenever Shaykh Yahya saw Grandshaykh (q), even while sitting inside a small car, he would always stand up for him. That’s how much respect he held for Grandshaykh (q)! (...)
Anyways, yaa Hajjati Naziha! Inshaa-Allah, I will also have Naziha dressed in a white, embellished abaya, covered from head to toe. Inshaa-Allah you will descend on Sham. With Allah’s permission, you will become hajjati! (Mawlana Shaykh Hisham: Allahu Akbar! Tamaam Sayyidee!) (...)
One time, Shaykh Abdul Wahhab looked at me and said, “Yaa shaykh! Who is your shaykh?”
I said, “If my shaykh has accepted, my shaykh is Shaykh `Abd Allah Daghestani.”
He stood up and said, “Alzimhu! Yaa waladee, alzimhu! Fa innahu al-fareedal-waheed, allatee yajtami` ma`a Rasoolillah (saw), yakazhatan laa manaaman!” “Hold fast to him, my son, hold fast to him! For he is the single, only one who meets with the Prophet of Allah (s) in a waking state, not in his sleep.” (Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!)
Look at the power of Grandshaykh (q)! If not for his power, I could not open my mouth here. Such blessed ones. Allah Allah! He said, “He is the only one in Sham who can yakzhatan laa manaaman, alzimhu!” May Allah sanctify his secret. Our shaykh is a lion! Allah Allah, Subhaan Allah.
Imam Suyuti is also yakazhatan, where he would physically meet with Prophet (s). So what right or authority do you have (O Wahhabis) to call his hadiths weak? (Hajjah Naziha: They are Wahhabis, Shaykh Al-Albani.) Those dogs! His father (Al-Albani) was Albanian. He used to get mad at his son and scold him for leaving Ahlu ’s-Sunnah wa ‘l-Jama`ah. A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajim. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem.
