[Everything we do must] coincide with Shari`ah. Too many men and women are making mistakes in these issues.
Alhamdulillah a shaykh came to visit us and we accepted his visit and we kiss his hands.
Now he has asked for baya` (initiation), so according to the Shari`ah [we are giving it]:
Verily, those who swear allegiance to you (O Muhammad) swear allegiance only to Allah. The Hand of Allah is above their hands. So whoever breaks his oath breaks it only to his own soul’s harm, while whoever keeps his oath with Allah, on him will He bestow immense reward. (Surat al-Fath, 48:10)
Baya` goes to the Prophet, ﷺ and from him to all saints. We are in a circle. SubhanAllah, many people today are asking for baya` and we also seek to renew our baya` with our shuyookh, mashaAllah. [...] Al-Fatiha.
Baya` is for you. By the order of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, we are renewing his baya` and alhamdulillah good tidings for all of us. Insha'Allah we will be among those who are steadfast on this baya`. It is in their hands. One baya` equals the whole dunya, and alhamdulillah for The One Who has brought him to this place. He is carrying a big burden. He is someone who carries us, carries himself, and is carrying all his mureeds. I said he carries us because (I see) there is a secret in his forehead.
Alhamdulillah, everything is by Allah's Order: He orders the Prophet (s), who orders [the shaykh for] his mureeds.
If we were not loved by Awliya, we would not have been here. Alhamdulillah you came here with your own inspiration, we did not pull you with a rope [by force]. [...]
[Inaudible…] They have a bug in their heart, but it can be cleaned. Awliyaullah send them here or there, to this place or that place, in order for that virus to be cleaned from their hearts.
So they have love for the shaykh, but they cannot carry the shaykh (knowledge). They think, "Why is the shaykh eating more than us? Why is the shaykh eating baklava?" So that is important because it gives us something to keep our heart [disconnected].
Listen to Hajjah; if we don't listen we won't eat baklava. She is Mawlana Shaykh Nazim's daughter. [Takbir!]
There are some men or women who sit with the shaykh and they don't look at the goodness of what he has made, they instead search for what is not good. Then they begin to search for the grain of rice in the flour, and how are they going to find it? So be careful as you don't want to lose (the goodness of) what you gained. The shaykh is waiting for you and knows you are coming, and prepares everything before you arrive, and he cleans you completely of your sins. So go home happy and remind people of his good character!
No one can carry a shaykh. This is a very big issue. Alhamdulillah, Who has given to us the secrets of the Tariqah. Therefore, follow those steps and be sure you are not coming against the shaykh's will. Most of the people's problem is (wrongfully) thinking, "The shaykh has money and did this or that." It doesn't matter if the shaykh has money or not! You don't know how he is spending or from where he brings that food.
[Hajjah Naziha] Allah said:
وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ
And in Heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised. (Surat adh-Dhariyaat, 51:22)
Two or three or four days ago, Hajjah said Dr Nour called and said, "There is a beautiful shaykh who wears a yellow turban and he is coming to visit you. What shall I do?" I said, "I leave it to you because of all that you have done for Grandshaykh `AbdAllah al-Fa’iz ad-Daghestani and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, and for the way of Tariqah. So do for him what you have done for them."
That [special] power has been given to Hajjah Naziha: to prepare food, distribute money and provide for those in need; the power to face, things that are difficult and support the people who come to visit this zawiya.
We were in the house speaking about something very important, and I told Hajjah I am not feeling good about myself. But [she reminded me that] Grandshaykh said, "You will be able to see Mahdi (a)."
In Syria, Grandshaykh gave me 35 gold coins during the civil in Lebanon, and told me, "Give these coins to Mahdi (a). Hisham, you are my private son. You wrote all my suhbahs and documents and you prepared everything. Give these coins to Mahdi. If you are not able to do that because of the war, try as much as you can to help the poor people and you might do well."
Let us go back to the story. So I took that amaanah (trust) that is still with me today, and I tried as much as I am able to help. Alhamdulillah, the opening was through Hajjah Naziha, because she changed the direction of your topic. Through those gold coins the money keeps coming to us. So anyone who connects himself to the Prophet (s) through mashayikh will be guarded.
I was arranging [a trip] tomorrow, because it is ready, and my son-in-law asked to stay one or two more days. Now we have the permission to go, and tomorrow we will get the answer whether or not we are going.
So [in the middle of all this ] this shaykh came through the window, not through the door! I was surprised. Until now I don't believe that trip will take place, but I am waiting. Because everything is intertwined [there are so many complications], but I am still insisting to go.
Awliyaullah, they love their followers, especially those who are gifted and have been accepted as khalifa of the shaykh.
Alhamdulillah be yourself! It means, if you see the reality then you will gain a lot. There are shaykhs that always speak, and question, and say this and that. Don't be a person that argues with the shaykh; no, you can argue with the shaykh and he will keep quiet, but if those who are in Tariqah argue, he might give them a spiritual punch! [...]
If they open the secret of this meeting, you cannot go home.
