As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh. A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. Alhamdulillahi Rabbi 'l-`Alameen, wa ’s-salaatu wa ’s-salaamu `alaa ashrafi 'l-mursaleena Sayyidina wa Nabiyyina Muhammadin wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi ajma`een amaa b`ad fa ayyuha ‘l-haflu ‘l-kareem.
O brothers and sisters! On this auspicious occasion that we are here tonight in a neutral location, it’s not in a masjid in which you are restricted to speak only of certain areas, but we are in a public hall, which I didn’t ask for. And I didn’t know that Shaykh Safdar was going to open that subject. His heart is opened to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), that we know for sure, and from Mawlana Shaykh (q) to Prophet (s).
Sometimes when awliyaullah give you your amaanah, your trust, they block you, not to use it, and they ask you to give a promise not to speak about it. Like when Grandshaykh `AbdAllah (q) finished his seclusion after five years, he wanted to go out from his room that he was doing his seclusion in. For five years he didn’t see anyone; the food was given to him from under the door. When he came out, finished! He was so in love, so in love, the meaning of the real love, to see his shaykh. Grandshaykh `AbdAllah, may Allah bless his soul, was so anxious that the seclusion of five years will end by seeing his shaykh.
Then his shaykh sent him a message, “Don’t come first to me, go to someone,” who is very well known in their village that he is majdhoob, in a trance. “Go to that one for forty days and listen to lectures he gives you.”
That was a crazy one, so what kind of giving lectures?
Grandshaykh (q) said, “I respected him as he was my shaykh, because it was the order of my shaykh.”
So respect is very important as without respect you don’t know or you will lose the love of the shaykh to you when you disrespect anyone, not only his family. Usually the family of the shaykh don’t know much about the shaykh. There are awliyaullah whose families don’t know they are awliyaullah, and this is a well-known fact in history. We have no time to speak about that now, but Grandshaykh `AbdAllah (q) said, “Of a thousand awliya, only two of their wives know their husband is a wali!”
That means 998 ladies don't know their husband is a wali and the children don't know their father is a wali. Why? I will quote. That is because, Bal yajidoonahu yaakulu kamaa yaakuloon wa yashrabu kamaa yashraboon wa yaghdabu kamaa yaghdaboon wa yanaamu wa yanamoon, “They see them eating like people eat, drinking like people drink, they get upset like people get upset, they sleep like people sleep.” Allah (swt) veiled them:
أولياء الله تحت قبابي لا يعلمهم غيري
Awliyaa’ee tahta qibaabee, laa ya`lamuhum ghayree.
My saints are under my domes; no one knows them except me. (Hadith Qudsiyy)
Fighting on Internet
That means not all awliyaullah are known, many of them are hidden! This is an advice for Tariqat an-Naqshbandiyyati ’l-`Aliyya, the students of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), to know that there are other Tariqahs and other walis. There are 7007 Naqshbandi shaykhs, there are 124,000 shaykhs of other Tariqahs including Naqshbandi, there are forty khalifahs of them, big walis, there are 313 at the feet of the Messengers, at the feet of Prophets. So be careful what you speak and how you address people on the Internet!
First of all, from long time ago I told all the followers that I know, from those I brought to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), “Don’t go on the Internet because it’s not good, it makes fitna.” And even Shaykh Muhammad said a few weeks ago, “I don't like anyone to look on the Internet because it brings fitna.” (Watch the video, “Don’t Engage in Fitna on the Internet”) People begin to fight with each other. If you are able to not fight and you say something nice for people to understand, to take away the confusion, it’s okay, but when you want to support one against the other, that is not anymore a good example of Tariqah, that is the speech of the streets, when everyone supports a gangster or when gangsters fight with each other.
Many awliyaullah are hidden, not known, but alhamdulillah, the branch of Mawlana Shaykh (q) and Grandshaykh (q) is a known one, because it receives from two rivers: the river of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (r) and the river of Sayyidina `Ali ibn Abi Talib (r). First of all, the Naqshbandi were called “Siddiqiyya”, after the time of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (r), and after the time of Sayyidina `Ali (r) it was called “`Alawiyya”.
History of Service to Grandshaykh and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim
So there are too many explanations of this and we will not go further into this matter, but since Shaykh Safdar opened the subject and he is inspired, I would like to say, and not out of arrogance or pride, no, but only to explain what is necessary for everyone here to know. Alhamdulillah, we are coming from a very noble family that goes back to Sayyidina Muhammad (s), from Hasani and Husayni, very well known in the Middle East, from a rich family alhamdulillah. Our home...just before I came here, I was a guest at the biggest home I have seen in England, but alhamdulillah, my father's home that we lived in was 100 times bigger than that home; the entrance hallway was as big as this Victoria Hall! Allah (swt) gives to whom he likes, that is why our home was full of awliyaullah! Scholars from all over the world came, sat and spoke with each other, because my uncles were big scholars in the Middle East, from Egypt, at the highest level of scholarship. Any fatwa that could not be compiled in Egypt or Middle East countries they sent to my uncles (to write).. I am not saying this for any reason other than for us to know our limits.
I knew Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) from when I was nine years old and my brother Shaykh Adnan was seven. We were raised in the laps of awliyaullah and we know what they like and dislike because we grew up with them. When I was 13 years old, I took my first trip to Damascus to see Grandshaykh `AbdAllah ad-Daghestani (q) because of an event that guided us to him. My father was a fabric wholesaler and there was a huge masjid built by the Ottomans next to his shop. One day we went there to pray `Asr with my uncle, because he prayed every `Asr there. We were three brothers sitting there, praying.
Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) appeared, a shaykh we didn’t know, and he looked at my elder brother and said, “You are Salim?”
He said, “Yes.”
Mawlana looked at the other one and said, “You are Adnan?”
He said, “Yes.”
Then he looked at me and said, “And you are Hisham?”
I said, “Yes.”
We didn’t know him. He prayed with us and after the prayer we told our uncle, who took Mawlana to his office in the masjid.
Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) said, “I have been sent by Shaykh `AbdAllah of Damascus to take this family to him.”
That’s what I have often mentioned, but this is the story behind it. Later, I visited Grandshaykh (q) when I was 13 years of age and until 1973, when Grandshaykh (q) passed away, we never missed a weekend to see him, or any time that we were free to go see him, to drive a very difficult drive from Beirut to Damascus. We were raised with him, he even gave us permission to go directly to his private room. From Beirut we left at midnight and reached Damascus at 3:00 a.m., then we prayed Tahajjud with Grandshaykh and all the prayers, Salaat al-Fajr, Salaat al-Ishraaq, and returned home. We did that every week, every day when we had no school.
From that we developed love for Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q). You are sad because Mawlana Shaykh (q) passed away, but I am more sad than anyone because I gave my life to him and it is gone now, between his hands! I gave him my life! No one here gave him his life! I sacrificed my life and my brother sacrificed his life to serve him! We sacrificed for the love of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) and love of Mawlana Shaykh `AbdAllah (q), and some people here are speaking very bad things that they don’t know the truth of and even Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s sons don't know! But Allah and Prophet (s) know. His sons were not even there, no one (else was there)! For sixty years I was with him, now I am seventy years of age, and I knew him from age 9.
How We Rescued Shaykh Nazim from a Syrian Prison and Put Two Epic International Conferences that Raised Mawlana’s Name East and West
For how many years have his children been with him? Less than me, but Allah knows best. How many times was Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, may Allah bless his soul, accused of espionage against the government of Syria? Files against him were bigger than this room. Who saved him when they threw him between the two borders of Lebanon and Syria? One time we went to Damascus and Hajjah Anne said to me, “Shaykh Nazim has disappeared for one week!” and they didn’t know where he was. I had to go with my brother to ask about Mawlana and in Syria, if you inquire about a prisoner, you and your family will be put in prison and they question you! But despite the possibility of being thrown in prison, we went inside the building as we knew the officials and how to go in, as we are very well known in Syria and Lebanon. There we saw a man coming from the other side. He saw us with turbans and so on, but I knew him, but from where I forgot. I knew that person very well as he used to come to my uncle’s house all the time, because they are both authors and scholars.
He said, “What are you doing here in this building?”
I said, “I am looking for Shaykh Nazim.”
He said, “Who is Shaykh Nazim?”
I said, “He is my father-in-law. He is trapped here somewhere, they took him.”
In Syria, when they take you (to prison) they move you from one department to another and you don’t know where that person is anymore, they are lost.
So he said, “Wait here.” He went into some office and came out.
The security said to us, “You don't know who that is?”
Shaykh Adnan and I said, “No.”
“That is the Minister of Defense!”
Allah (swt) sent him to sign the paper or Mawlana would have stayed in prison! We took him and went. I don't want to say too much about these little-known issues, but we served Mawlana Shaykh (q) with full hearts because we loved him! And subhaanAllah, if Grandshaykh (q) did not love us, he would not have told me to marry Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s daughter and for my brother to marry her cousin! Grandshaykh (q) loved us more than anyone and we were the only two people with exclusive permission to enter his private room. We helped a lot; I don't like to say that, but we helped with whatever we could, and from the other side we get slapped right and left (by people who don’t know our history)!
People don’t know this, and I will challenge anyone to raise his finger and say that he did more for Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q)! Who showed him as the highest in the world except us? We made two groundbreaking international conferences, both with 10,000 attendees and not ten or twenty speakers, 157 esteemed speakers from around the world! We arranged for them to give speeches in the U.S. Congress, like the House of Commons here. Mawlana was the highest-level speaker in the whole conference! He spoke to the congressmen, we invited them, they came and attended his speeches, they sat in front rows and on the stage with him, and Mawlana was on the highest stage! Show me anyone that did anything like that for Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q)! They call themselves khaadim, servants. No! We are the khudaam!
Also, Mawlana was very busy and his children were growing, so we took Bahauddin and Muhammad into our home. We raised them in the nicest, best way, and gave a car to Bahauddin, a car to Muhammad; whatever we could help, we helped. And they left our homes when my wife arranged their marriages to beautiful girls, each one, Bahauddin and Muhammad left our home when they got married. So who loves them more: Keighley people, Nelson people, Bury people, London people? Who else?
I respect Shaykh Muhammad, I love him, he is very good person, but he needs experience. And this is what Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) told me, it was an order to me: “Make your utmost to give experience to Shaykh Muhammad.” What does that mean? That has meaning. “Give him from the secrets that I have given you, in order that he can understand how to manage with people,” because Grandshaykh (q) ordered Shaykh Nazim (q) to take me and my brother to Madinat al-Munawarra to sit in his room where he made seclusion with Grandshaykh (q) for one year in a school for the Bukhari people. There, for twenty one days he gave us speeches from secrets of Tasawwuf! Did anyone else get that? If yes, show me, tell me!
We Rescued Shaykh Muhammad from a Firing Squad
I sacrificed my life! Do you know how they sacrifice their lives? You put your life in your hands, expecting that someone will come and cut your neck with a knife, like ISIS is doing now! Let them all know that! Me and my brother sacrificed our lives to save Shaykh Muhammad from being killed! No one knows about that.
He went to Hajj and I said to him, “You are coming on this date and I will be waiting for you at the airport (during the war in Lebanon) to take you from Beirut to Tripoli, so wait for me, don’t move, because I will be going through the mountains, not along the ocean through the coastal area,” although that way you reach in one-and-a-half hours. I said, “I will drive ten hours through the mountains to Beirut to pick you up, so wait for me!”
His flight came early, he didn’t wait for me, and he took a taxi along the coastal area to come quickly home. As soon as he reached the Phalangists’ checkpoint, who were very, very, very strict, extremist Christians, like you have extremist Muslims today, you also have extremist Christians and they don't care, they will kill you immediately when you arrive! So they took him inside.
The driver called me when he arrived in Tripoli and said, “Your brother Muhammad has been stopped, kidnapped by the Phalangists! See what you want to do.”
What to do? Who can do anything? It was during a war! We called the mayor and the Prime Minister, who both said, “We cannot do anything. It is midnight now, leave it until tomorrow.” To leave it until tomorrow it would be finished! So me and my brother decided to drive toward that checkpoint. One or two kilometers away, the neutral Lebanese army was there and one general came down quickly and said, “Where are you going, Shaykh?”
I said, “I am going through, my brother-in-law has been kidnapped here!”
He said, “These people will kill you! I am Christian and you are Muslim, but I know and I’m telling you about them, they will kill you! Don’t go, leave it until tomorrow.”
I said, “No, I have to go!”
He said, “I will go with you,” so he came with us.
Who loves Shaykh Muhammad more, you or me? I love him more, I put my blood in my hands to save him! We went and drove to that checkpoint and they came out saying, “Look, turbans! A good fish that they are going to eat now! Why are you coming here?”
I said, “I came to say ‘hello’ to you.”
They said, “MashaaAllah Shaykh, you have a sense of humor!”
I said, “Yes, you didn't see anything yet!”
“What is your name?”
“Muhammad Hisham Kabbani.”
“Oh, the Kabbani family? Come inside, we’ll speak.”
They respected us; they put chairs and we sat and gave the name and they said, “No. We don’t have anyone by that name, Muhammad Nazim Adil.”
I said, “He passed by here and the driver called and told us he is coming from this side and he disappeared.”
The door of the office was open so you could not see what was behind the door, but by mistake, one of those officers went out of the room, shut the door and I saw Shaykh Muhammad’s wallet for passports and papers with his name inscribed, “Muhammad Nazim Adil.” They had taken it from him and left it there. So this is how we saved him.
I said, “Look, what is that behind the door?”
They said, “Okay, but he is not here, we transferred him to Beirut.”
How to get him from Beirut? We were one-and-a-half hours away. So at that moment we again called the mayor from the checkpoint and they called the main office in Beirut, which said, “Tomorrow we’ll send him.”
When I was leaving, the three-star officer from the Christians said to me, “You are lucky! He was going to be executed tomorrow because his name is Muhammad Nazim Adil, a Muslim, and the first name is Muhammad,” (which they hated). Second, he was born in Syria. Third, he has a Cypriot passport. It doesn’t ring a bell in our mind, someone with Cypriot passport named Muhammad, born in Syria, it is impossible; if Cypriot, you are Greek, but he doesn’t know how to speak Greek! So they thought for sure he is a spy.
Allahu Akbar!
But alhamdulillah, we took him out the next day from that checkpoint.
Muhammad said, “Just when the mayor called, they were forcing me to eat pork!”
That is a place where they throw many Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, and people from many other countries and no one knows what will happen to them.
Prophet (s) Appointed Us Khalifah through Grandshaykh!
So, I am asking these people (who attack me), do they love him more? What did they do? What did they do? If Muhammad Adil was killed, will Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) be happy? We saved his son! And what did we get in response? With Allah’s Blessings, we were appointed Khilafah from Prophet (s) through Grandshaykh (q), not from anyone else! He said in his will, “If Shaykh Nazim Effendi is not there, Shaykh Adnan, Shaykh Hisham,” three in line, that’s it. What they give, they don’t take! To say that it’s abrogated and ijaazah has now been taken away and other rumors they spread, it’s not true and it’s shame on those who declare they love Shaykh Muhammad! But because you cannot control the people, someone will curse me and there will be a hundred people attacking him, so it becomes a big fitna.
These are three rivers: any river you like, follow, no one is saying to you, “No.” What Grandshaykh (q) gave to us and gave to Mawlana Shaykh (q), even Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), although he is Sultan al-Awliya, he cannot abrogate the order of the Prophet (s)! What has been given is given, it cannot be taken it away! He cannot!
Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) said it clearly to a reporter who asked him in an interview, “Who is after you?”
He said, “Shaykh Hisham and Shaykh Adnan.”
So we are not running after the chair as our lives will end, but we are correcting people's beliefs!
Allah Will Declare War on Anyone Who Injures His Wali
من عادا لي وليا فقد آذنته بالحرب
Man `adaa lee waliyyan faqad aadhantahu bi ’l-harb.
(Allah [swt] said) Whoever comes against My wali, I declare war on him.
(Hadith Qudsi; Bukhari, from Abu Hurayrah)
“Allah says anyone coming after My saints, I will declare war on them!” Anyone who puts his finger in this matter, he will burn it and Allah will declare war on that person wherever he is--a representative, a speaker, anyone who involves himself in making fitna between Shaykh Muhammad, Shaykh Adnan, Shaykh Hisham--between these three, he will be punished! Bahauddin is something else, leave him alone; I will deal with him. No one deal with him, I know how to deal with my brother-in-law. We are after Tariqah, so anyone who puts his hands in this matter is burning them!
The Issue of Taking a New Baya`
Many shuyookh came to Shaykh Nazim (q) and took baya` from him. It is tabarrukan, for barakah, and they have their shaykhs. I saw Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) in Damascus when I was young and he took me to the Shadhili Tariqah dhikr and he also put his hand and took baya` with them tabarrukan, for baraka, which is allowed! Those who took baya` with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), why they have to renew it, for what?
Inna alladheena yuba`yoonaka innamaa yuba`yoon Allah.
Verily, those who swear allegiance to you (Muhammad) swear allegiance only to Allah.
(Surat al-Fath, 48:10)
“Those who are giving their hand for baya`, their baya` is to Allah (swt), not to Muhammad (s).” Allah is saying to Prophet (s), “It is not for you, it is for Me.” So now those people are saying, “Baya`, baya`, baya`,” as if baya` is now reduced to a mere word, a cliché. Now you need a stamp and they stamp you, “You took baya`!” Tomorrow if the stamp goes, then you have to stamp another time! What is this? This is out of our hands. They have to think well and understand.
Naming this Tariqah ‘Naqshandiyya Nazimiyyati ’l-`Aliyyah’
So about the name of this Tariqah, we called it ‘Naqshbandiyya Nazimiyya,’ because:
عِنْدَ ذِكْرِ الصَّالِحِينَ تَنْزِلُ الرَّحْمَةُ
`Inda dhikr as-saliheen tanzilu ’r-rahmah.
When the names of the pious are mentioned Allah’s Mercy descends.
(Narrated by Sufyan ibn `Uyayana in Imam Ahmad’s Zuhd)
When you mention the name of the wali, rahmah comes down, and that is very well known. Some Awliyaullah make a problem in the community in order for people to speak bad about them, and because people mention their names on their tongues they have the ability now to present them clean to Prophet (s) and then they carry the responsibility on their behalf. Grandshaykh (q) said this in the story of Abu Yazid al-Bistami (q). He used to create fitna and when the fitna came out and people spoke bad about him, then of anyone speaking bad about him he said, “Yaa Rabbee, that person spoke bad about me! Give him my hasanaat (good deeds) and I will take his sayyi`aat (sins).”
These are awliya; don’t interfere in their matters! Interfere in your own daily life and don’t make a distinction: you have a child and you have a father or elder brother. Do you listen to the elder brother or the younger? If you are three brothers, you listen to the eldest brother or to the youngest? You listen to the eldest brother, as he has experience. Why did Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) say to me, “Give Muhammad experience?” Because Mawlana knows Shaykh Muhammad needs more involvement, because they were not involved in anything before the last four or five years, nothing. So we ask Allah (swt) to bring us all back (in unity) and take the confusion away and bring back what is needed.
I called the Tariqah ‘Naqshbandiyya Nazimiyya’ under Mawlana Shaykh’s name! Why I have to call it under another persons’ name? Like ‘Naqshbandiyya’ is called after Sayyidina Shah Naqshband (q), ‘Siddiqiyya’ is after Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (r), ‘Tayfouriyya’ after Sayyidina Aba Yazid al-Bistami (q), ‘Ghujdwaniyya’ after Sayyidina `Abdul-Khaliq al-Ghujdawani (q), ‘Mujaddidiyya’ after Sayyidina Ahmad al-Faruqi as-Sirhindi (q), ‘Khalidiyya’ after Sayyidina Khalid al-Baghdadi (q). Now, why are we not allowed to call it ‘Nazimiyya’? We have a problem in the West that anything related to the name ‘Haqqaniyya’ they say is the Haqqani of Pakistan, a blacklisted group. I asked Mawlana Shaykh Nazim this past March and he said it is okay (to change our name) because they make a big issue about the name ‘Haqqani’ and that’s what is going on.
Bahauddin Adil is not Authorized by Mawlana Shaykh Nazim
I don’t like the ways of Bahauddin conducting this Tariqah! Bahauddin has no reason, he has no appointment from Mawlana Shaykh (q) for Tariqah! He is not a wazeer, nothing, and anyone who follows him, with my love to him and my respect, he might deviate them from the Right Way. We have to be very careful, because it is very important as he is not yet up to the Way that Shaykh Muhammad is in. He has to be careful of what he is doing and not appoint ‘inspectors’! What is this, inspectors in Tariqah? Allah knows if that person who has been appointed is Masonic or not. And who gave you (Bahauddin) the authority to appoint anyone? Your brother is sitting, not giving lectures; you are giving the lecture and your brother is sitting! What kind of humiliation is that? So I advise my brother-in-law to be careful.
I called Shaykh Muhammad four or five days ago and said, “You have to do something, you have to stop your brother from speaking like this left and right as it is not nice. People don’t know. People say, ‘It is the son of Mawlana Shaykh (q).’” Tayyib, but what about the son of Sayyidina Nuh (a), what happened to him?
وَنَادَى نُوحٌ ابْنَهُ وَكَانَ فِي مَعْزِلٍ يَا بُنَيَّ ارْكَب مَّعَنَا وَلاَ تَكُن مَّعَ الْكَافِرِينَ
And Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest), "O my son! Embark with us and be not with the unbelievers!" (Surah Hud, 11:42)
Sayyidina Nuh (a) said to his son, “Come and join us on the boat!”
He said, “No, I will run to a mountain that will save me from the flood!”
Sayyidina Nuh (a) said, “There is no way today, the flood will take you!” and suddenly the flood took him.
Allah (swt) said to him (a):
قَالَ يَا نُوحُ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ إِنَّهُ عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَالِحٍ
Qaala yaa noohu innahu laysa min ahlika innahu `aamalun ghayru saalihin.
He said, "O Noah! He is not of your family for his conduct is unrighteous.”
“He is not from your children. It is `amal that is not good.” Shaykh Baha! Please, I love you and respect you, but don’t involve yourself in Tariqah as you have no permission from your father. Your father gave permission to your brother, not to you. So please, people are looking at you as the son of Mawlana and they are not knowing what to say. May Allah protect you and protect us, and may you come back to your normal life.
May Allah forgive us. You (Shaykh Safdar) changed the subject for me and we went into this one now, but it is necessary for people to understand that there is nothing (of ill will) within the family. All of them speak with each other, they call each other (and stay in regular contact). So what rumors are running around the world, it is as if someone wants to take the chair from the other one. Who sits, sit, there are many chairs! We can buy one chair from a furniture store and we sit on it, ee don’t need too many chairs. So if anyone has a question, he can ask.
Wa min Allahi ‘t-tawfeeq bi hurmati ‘l-Fatihah.
Different Types of Charity
I was here to talk about “the different kinds of charity,” so I will mention this hadith from Prophet (s). A group of people came to Prophet (s) and they were mostly naked, and his face became red and he said, “Is there anything that anyone has to give these people because they are naked and the reward comes from me!” And people began to take their clothes, their money, everything, and threw it in front of Prophet (s). In five minutes he gathered two big baskets of clothes and money, and when he saw in front of him the clothes and money, his face became shining like gold, and Prophet (s) said, “Anyone who makes a Sunnah and people follow that Sunnah, Allah (swt) will give that person his or her reward in dunya and Akhirah! That Sunnah is to give charity.”
And today, we have a problem in Pakistan, a big flood coming from India and people have no food, no clothes. So I think if everyone can give £20 it will be great. I don’t think it is too much, but if it is too much give £10, if too much, give £5, if too much, give £100! [Laughter.] As they pass the collection buckets around, I will mention another hadith of Prophet (s):
ينقطع عمل ابن ادم الا من ثلاث: صدقه جاريه; علم ينتفع به; ولد صالح يدعوا له
Yanqati` `amal ibn Adam illa min thalath: sadaqatun jaariya wa `ilmun yantafi`u bih wa waladun saalihun yada`u lah.
The deeds of the Children of Sayyidina Adam are cut except three: a flowing donation in Allah’s Way and some knowledge that you leave behind (that benefits people) and a child who prays for you.
May Allah (swt) give you as much as you give and bless you. There is Hajjah Faridah here, coming from Pakistan, she is waiting for your deep pockets to give some money. Come!
Wa min Allahi ‘t-tawfeeq bi hurmati ‘l-Fatihah.
