(Mawlana Shaykh stands) Laa ilaaha illa-Llah, laa ilaaha illa-Llah, laa ilaaha illa-Llah Muhammadan Rasoolullah, `alayhi salaatullah, `alayhi salaamullah min al-azali ila 'l-abad. Zidhu yaa Rabb sharafan wa `izzan noorun wa salaamun, thumma s-salaatu wa 's-salaam, `ala jami`ee al-anbiya wa 'l-mursaleen, wa aali kullin ajma`een, a man tabi`ahum bi ihsaan ila yawmi 'd-deen. A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. Madad yaa RijaalAllah, madad yaa RijaalAllah, madad, madad! (Mawlana Shaykh sits)
O our Attenders! As-salaamu `alaykum. Whoever is attending to understand something, it is an honor for them, for me, and for everyone. Yes, whoever is attending, honor is given to them. Whoever is asking for honor must attend such meetings which give them an understanding and honor. Honor is only granted to people according to their understanding level. Students in the first class may be granted some honor, but those in the second class have been granted more; in third, fourth, and fifth class, as much as you are getting up you get more honor. Whoever is moving from his level and asking more, he will be granted more honor.
O our Salafi `ulamas! What is Allah Almighty saying? You are claiming you understand from Holy Qur'an. Now we are speaking on what is coming from heavenly waridaat, inspirations. It is not something we are mutaa'alatun kutub, reading from books. Here we are not sitting and speaking to people about what we learned by reading or studying. No, we are simple people, calling, "O simple people! Come and attend something new!" Always everything new is tasty. Kullu jadeedin ladheedhun, every new thing is delicious! Or we may say, yawmun jadeed rizqun jadeed, "New day, new provisions." Therefore, we are asking and they are sending new provisions. At the market, everyday they want new productions to present to customers, to attract them. If the products are from yesterday, customers are asking for new items. That is a specialty granted to Man, to like new things for enjoyment. Therefore, yaumun jadeed rizkun jadeed, "New day, new provisions," every day a new appearance is coming, so take from that.
Therefore, we are sitting here, taking whatever is coming, and asking from new provisions. New provisions are not from books, but from heavenly appearances that come daily. This machine (live camera connected to the Internet) is making all Mankind see, giving them new ones daily. How is it happening? Wa huwa `ala kulli shay'in qadeer, "He is able to do all things!" Daily may come new provisions, because Allah Almighty has makdara, capability, and may send new things daily! We are sitting here to ask for new provisions, because people like new things.
O Salafi `ulamas! You know how people are running after new fashions and about old fashions they say, "No, we like new fashion!" In such a way heavenly appearances come to people, but they are not opening for them that center to hear, to listen and understand, no.The understanding level of those who passed away was something else, and understanding of the new generation is very different, so they are asking for a new understanding. And because you are not able to give new things to people for their understanding and mentality, they are saying it is old. You are `ulamas; if you claim you are Salafi or "Khalafi," it doesn't matter. What matters is, are you bringing new things for people to be happy ? They should run after you, but instead they are saying, "I don't care about what has passed away, new things are not coming, everything is from past times." Why? If it is Islam, then give your attention to it! Islam addresses our mentalities. Young people say, "Our level of understanding is different. Our mentalities are not like the past. We are asking for something to us content. If Islam can bring us contentment, welcome! If not, then it is not welcome."
A scholar must be able to address new mentalities of Mankind now. Today's mentalities are different from yesterday's mentalities, just as tomorrow's mentality is going to be changed. Now everyone is asking for new heavenly waridaat, inspirations. If Islam can't give people what they are asking for, then it is never going to be the Last Message and Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! (Mawlana Shaykh stands and sits) "Last" means everything that has been brought, up to the end of this life, even if people's lives may continue up to Eternal. We are not in need of a renewal, no! Islam is enough even if this life continues up to Eternity! Islam is eternal, from pre-Eternal up to Eternal, giving eternity to all nations. If this Creation runs from pre-Eternal up to Eternal, Islam is enough to give contentment to all people! Daily Islam brings a new understanding. The mentality of people is on one level, but Islam covers their levels and understanding. Every time, Islam is giving Mankind something above their understanding. That is important!
O `ulamas! You must be able to give people what they are going to be happy with. You should be able to give them contentment every time, throughout Eternity: that is Islam! If you don't know, then don't speak, but ask someone who knows. Asta`eedhu billah. (Mawlana Shaykh stands)
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَى
Wa la sawfa yu`teeka rabbuka fa-tardaa.
And We will give to you (O Prophet) and you will be pleased. (93:5)
(Mawlana Shaykh sits). Our belief is that Rasoolullah (s) is alive, not a dead one. No, the Seal of Prophets (s) is alive! If he dies, Islam is also dies. As long as Islam is standing up, it means that it's prophet is living! Is'al tu`taa, "ask, you will be given!" SubhaanAllahi 'l-`Aliyyu 'l-`Azheem. Whatever you are going to ask, you will be given. People may ask everything because they like to know everything, but it is forbidden for people to ask something which is not for them. Don't ask something which is not for you.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَسْأَلُواْ عَنْ أَشْيَاء إِن تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ
laa tas'al `an ashyaain in tubda lakum tasoowakum,
O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. (5:101)
You can't ask everything. Allah Almighty is saying: (Mawlana Shaykh stands)
lAa tas'al `an ashyaain in tubda lakum tasoowakum.
Don't ask after things that if revealed to you, it will harm you.
You can't ask ask everything; only what is necessary for you, you may ask. And what is necessary for us to ask, know and learn? Mankind may ask, learn, and know, but what is their goal behind their questioning? They can't ask everything, it is prohibited. If you are asking something about your goal, you can ask, but if it is not concerning your goal, it is prohibited to ask. la tasa'l `an ashyaain in tubda lakum tasoowakum, you must not ask. Because something which is not for your goal may make you sad, hopeless, or angry, or unhappy. Don't ask, don't ask!
For example, they are saying they are `ulamas. Once Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, was traveling and one person became his travel companion. They were walking and finally reached a place where there was a heap of bones, and they wondered are they animal's bones. The person who was in company with Jesus Christ (a) said, "Yaa Roohullah, O Holy Spirit! I will be happy to see the animal whose bones these are!"
Jesus Christ said to him, "Don't ask!"
The man replied, "You can do this, O Jesus Christ, because the Holy Spirit is with you."
Again Jesus Christ said, "Don't ask," but the man insisted.
"I am asking you to show me what kind of creature it was!"
Finally Jesus Christ said, qum bi idhnillah, "Stand up by the permission of Allah, stand up by the Name of Lord of Heavens! O bones, stand up and show yourself."
And suddenly, those bones were standing and coming together, and a very fearful creature appeared, like a giant, rushing towards that person and finishing him! And Jesus Christ said, "You asked something which is not for you, now take what you deserve."
And so many people are asking about what is not their goals. Why? La tasa'loo `an ashyaa, "Don't ask about things that are not suitable to know." It may be it will end like that man, so don't ask. That means a person may ask about their goal. And what is our main goal? It is servanthood to our Lord! About servanthood you may ask everything, but beyond that may harm you. Now people are running beyond their goals, asking to learn so many things which are not for their servanthood. Therefore, you are looking and seeing Mankind falling in Trouble Oceans: they never know the cause, but they should not ask about so many things that are not their goal, as that is not from servanthood. Now people are are falling like that person who was insisting, and then finally that animal stood up and ate him! Twenty-first century people are always asking; everywhere there are inquiry centers looking into this and that! For what? Have you been ordered to look at everything? You have been ordered only to learn about your real goal, and that is servanthood. Beyond that, if you are asking you will fall in a bottomless ocean, unable to save yourself.
Now the whole world is falling in such a whirlpool or coming near a black hole, asking, "What is in it? We must look," looking inside and it is taking them down and they are disappearing. Don't look except at your goal, and your goal is servanthood!
O Mankind! Don't ask too much! (...) That is why the nations that have passed were destroyed. That is the cause of Mankind's problems and troubles, and the destruction of their goals. People are running after points where they are being cursed. Anyone who is asking beyond their goals will be cursed!
O People! Come and listen, don't ask this and that, be straight ones. The Lord of Heavens says, "You are My servants," and we are accepting our servanthood to Him. You may ask about servanthood and you will be happy, here and Hereafter! If not, you will be taken away and heavy burdens will come on you, and this world is going to be destroyed through your shaytanic groups from east to west, from north to south!
May Allah forgive us, and send us something to make clear everything that Mankind must keep and act on, to be happy here and in the Hereafter. May Allah forgive us for the honor of this holy month.
Fatihah.
