Entering the Ka`aba

Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani

Last night I got a call from our son Muhammad, one of the mureeds in Meccatu 'l-Mukarramah, and he said that just now they are washing the Ka`ba for baraka, and he was there. So he promised that he will send the video to anyone who wants to see it. Insha Allah, beyond that, we want to see it in person and they will permit it to us when we see it [through the video].

We thank Allah (swt) that gave He us permission to see the washing of the Ka`bat al-musharrafa. Alhamdulillah it was cleaned as the people there were looking at it and washing it. Allah-willing, Allah gives us to participate in that and if we cannot do it physically we will do it by spiritual powers which are provided to us to speak about it and to receive the baraka of the Prophet (swt).

May Allah show us the Ka`ba from outside and from inside, more and more.

All praise is to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and praise, blessings and peace upon the most honored of messengers, and upon his family and companions altogether.

Glad tidings to us and to you for this tremendous honor where they told us about and then brought to us the Holy Ka`ba while it was being washed.

[Shaykh Nour in the Jumu`ah khutba] mentioned the hadith of the many doors [of Paradise] and this is one of these many doors that the Sahaba used to keep in their places; a part of the Ka`bat ash-sharifa. Awliyaullah wanted us to see it and so Brother Muhammad called and he informed us of this and showed it to us. They decided now and insha Allah it was presented with great power. Insha Allah we go to Mecca for Hajj and `Umrah and we can look for a place to demonstrate our love of the Prophet (s). There were some people present at the washing, and those people were able to go inside.

From far away you may mention the name of Ka`ba if you say 'Bismillah wa lillahi 'l-hamd.'

Alhamdulillah it is not easy to go inside the Ka`ba, but once inside it is even more difficult [to enter into its Reality], but because of our friend, who is one of our best mureeds, who is very near to the king, he arranged that honor for us to see it from inside and all of you were present

There.

To see is the best approach to get close to Allah (swt) and to the Door of Prophet (s). We ask Allah (swt) to keep sending His Mercy on us through Ka`batullah.

They say, "We are going for Hajj or `Umrah or for Ziyarah." But what is the secret meaning of that? The meaning is that when you raise your hand and say Bismillahi, Allahu akbar you are able to reach the Reality of the Ka`ba in front of the Prophet (s), just as the Sahaba used to run to Prophet (s) to look at him. So we ask Ya Allah, "Please do not deprive us of Your Mercy and Your Generosity make the Ka`ba the light of our eyes."

The doors that Shaykh Nour mentioned, many of them open as soon as you say "Subhanallah wa bi-hamdihi, subhanallahi 'l-`azheem istaghfirullah - All Glory is due to Allah through His Praise - All Glory is due to Allah, The Most Great and we ask His forgiveness."

If you want to see the Ka`aba you can see it. We ask Allah (swt) to make us enter through one of these doors by which we can the see the inside of the Ka`ba. Those who send Salawat on the Prophet (s) are always in Presence of the Ka`ba. The Ka`aba is able to speak and Awliyaullah can hear it. Insha-Allah we will one day be able to hear the Ka`aba speaking and the Prophet (s) is the door for the people to see the Reality of the Ka`ba.

They wrote hundreds and thousands of books about what we mean by the secrets of Ka`batullah. The reality is they wrote thousands of books full of nice explanations, and after we finished the Dhikr yesterday I showed some people some of these books. May Allah (swt) keep us on the love of the Ka`ba and insha-Allah, if I am not available Shaykh Nour is available he can show the people these books.

We shall soon insha-Allah make some books available to be seen about the reality of Ka`ba and some books in the Reality of Ka`ba, and these two are different.

And we say, 'As-salam `alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakutuh.'
