[Khatm al-Khawajagan.]
A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.
كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان ثقيلتان فى الميزان حبيبتان إلى الرحمن سبحان الله و بحمده سبحان الله العظيم
Two words are very easy to say, yet very heavy on the Scale, most beloved to The Merciful: SubhaanAllah wa bihamdihi subhaanAllahi ’l-`Azheem. (Bukhari and Muslim)
The whole of Islam is based on two words. Allah mentioned to the Prophet (s) and the Prophet (s) mentioned to us two words are very light on the tongue and very heavy on the Scale. Do you wish to enter Paradise? [Yes!] Then memorize this: Kalimataan khafeefataan `alaa ’l-lisaan thaqeelataan fi ’l-meezaan habeebataan li ’r-rahmaan: SubhaanAllah wa bihamdihi subhaanAllahi ’l-`Azheem, astaghfirullah. It will take you with ghad al-basara, in the blink of an eye, not only in the Afterlife, but in this dunya.
Allah is happy with those who are happy with Him. Are you happy with Him? [Yes!]
Islam is something you cannot touch; it is a word you need to understand, then you will have knowledge of everything. “Kalimataan khafeefataan `alaa ’l-lisaan.” Kalimataan means two words: “Allah, Muhammad”. It is so simple: anyone who understands the Reality of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) will reach everything. Two words are so light on the tongue and so heavy on the Scale.
How many times have we mentioned the words “Allah” and “Muhammad” just now? We might have recited it ten times. Sayyidina Muhammad (s) mentioned we will be passing on the Sirat with Ahlu 'l-Bayt on the Day of Judgement. Sayyidina Muhammad (s) is the Bayt, he is the Jannah, he is the Qasr, he is everything!
Now we are celebrating the birth of the Prophet (s). To observe it means what he wants us to know about him. Not everything is about qasidahs and anasheed: they are examples of what the Prophet (s) wants us to mention in order to enter our Paradise. You need a key and everyone has a key connected in his neck. You will come on Judgment Day stripped from everything, nothing will be left, not even clothes.
Sayyida `Ayesha (r) asked, “Yaa Rasoolullah, will it be possible they are naked?” and the Prophet (s) said, “What do you think? With the Fire in front of you, will you care if you are naked or not?” Everyone will be judged according to what he did, but lovers of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) will advance across that bridge in the blink of an eye. Quloo minhum, be like them, then they will be happy with us. If they are not happy with us we will face problems, and dunya problems are nothing compared to Akhirah problems! Of course there are problems in Akhirah: someone who did not do well in dunya will suffer when they pass through Jahannam.
So we are observing the birthday of Prophet (s), a day of recognition when everyone is thinking about his Reality. There Allah opens the door for everyone's reality: some with their good Reality will go to Paradise and some with their evil Reality will go to Jahannam.
May Allah (swt) give us the power to understand what to do in these days. That is why He sent Awliya, not prophets; prophets left dunya and are waiting for Akhirah, but Allah gave a chance for those still in dunya. That is ten to fifteen years ago there was not such difficulty in dunya, such nakedness. Wherever you move now, you see people's nakedness, and who is naked in dunya will be naked in Akhirah.
May Allah forgive everyone.
Observation is necessary as when you observe you learn, when you learn you make tafakkur. Those who make tafakkur will approach the Prophet (s) and Allah (swt). More tafakkur will make you a Wali and take you to heavenly knowledge, which is the key to Akhirah. That is why Prophet (s) said, “ Give me two words and I will give you Paradise. Kalimataan khafeefataan `alaa ’l-lisaan thaqeelataan fi ’l-meezaan: SubhaanAllah wa bihamdihi subhaanAllahi ’l-`Azheem. There are two words very light on the tongue and very heavy in the Scale.” He (s) is praising Allah (swt), which means Allah likes to be praised. One happiness of the people of dunya is when they praise Allah (swt). Surat al-Fatihah is nothing but praising Allah. [Mawlana recites Surat al-Fatihah.] All of it is praising, you cannot find one verse of Surat al-Fatihah that is not praising Allah (swt). Allah likes to be praised and Sayyidina Muhammad (s) knows how to praise Him, with which tasbeeh to praise Allah.
May Allah forgive us and bless us in dunya and Akhirah. As long as we are in dunya, du`a never ends. I am bit tired, so we will continue this tomorrow inshaa-Allah, and people also don't like long suhbahs. [We love your suhbah to be longer, we are lucky to have you and to have you giving us suhbah. Thank you. We are not worthy to be in your presence.] Thank you, may Allah bless you. Wa ’s-salaam `alaykum.
Mawlid is on Saturday and we will see what kind of birth Prophet (s) gave us, how we will listen, obey, and go to Paradise. It is easy and makes everyone happy, especially those who listen to Prophet (s) and Awliya.
Qadam ash-Shareef, the footprint of the Prophet (s).... I built a cemetery for Muslims in Michigan named “Rawdat al-Jannah”. We looked and found a place suitable for converting to a cemetery. Suddenly my eyes moved to a corner to be a place for Rawdah, a cemetery, and you know there the zoning laws are strict, but alhamdulillah, Mawlana made it easy. There I saw something strange, that the (future) graves the government asked us to dig were in the form of the Qadam ash-Shareef, and so I told our people, “Dig here,” and they dug. SubhaanAllah, Allah is Great: you plan and Allah plans. We planned for 1,000 graves and instead it went to 10,000, and the government was very supportive. So we don't know how Allah (swt)....look what happens when you say, ”Muhammad” (s). AG reviewed until 53:23
We always say “Muhammad” (s), it shows there is significant meaning there. Why is “Allah” before and then “Muhammad” (s)? It shows Allah is first and then second Sayyidina Muhammad (s) comes, not second in meaning, but the Prophet (s) always comes first, that is why the order came, “Use that word ‘da`alayk’ and I support it.” Allah wants to show no one can be like the Prophet (s), which is why He immediately put him first among human beings. It is not easy. If you are first in the class, they make a party for you, so what do you think of the first one in Paradise? It means no Paradise will be given to anyone without the Prophet (s) signing off (certifying) on it. This is from the meaning of “Muhammad”, ‘Meem’ ‘Ha’ ‘Meem’ ‘Dal’. Inshaa-Allah, we will speak more about that. May Allah bless everyone.
Wa min Allahi ‘t-tawfeeq bi hurmati ‘l-Habeeb bi hurmati ‘l-Fatihah.
