O our Lord, Who is Generous in His Divine Grants! O His Beloved, for whose honor our Lord created Creation! For his honor may You grant us strength, may You accept our servanthood! Yaa Rabbee! We are helpless servants. May You grant us health and strength and power and firmness, may You grant us from all the kinds of precious stones that descend upon Baytu ‘l-`Ateeq! Baytu ‘l-`Ateeq is not an empty house; Baytu ‘l-`Ateeq has the safety of faith, and May You dress us in the dress of faith! Yaa Rabbee! May You dress on us the love of Your Great Beloved (s)! Yaa Rabbee! May You dress us in the dress of honor, O Lord, which teaches us the adab that is required to glorify You.
Allah Hu Allah, Allah Hu Allah, Allah Hu Allah!

You are Subhaan, O our Lord! Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar!
In this suhbah of ours we may first say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.” Let us stand up and let this be our hope and strength! If you want hope and strength, say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.” All the kinds of precious stones are loaded into “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem,” so say it! Our dunya life is a life of testing and who wants to pass the test may say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.” Yes, one cannot pass the test without the Bismillah. His doings are imitated, no good for anything.
Therefore, in our suhbah we first said, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem,” we said the Greatest Name of our Almighty Lord. How beautiful! How beautiful! How beautiful! We should be thankful to Allah Almighty (swt) that He granted us to say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem;” He (swt) made us say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem,” which is loaded with treasures above treasures! Shukr Allah! Man zaadalillah, zaadahullah! The more a servant has glorification and high respect for his Lord, the more comes from the Almighty, al-Bari Allah, to us and Allah Almighty grants us according to how much we can do.
We said, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.” Let us revive, let us revive! “Are we not alive already?" No, when you don't say the Bismillah, your line is the line of animals. Do the animals recite the Bismillah?
“Of course not!”
“Have you heard an animal reciting the Bismillah?”
“No, Shaykh Effendi, we haven't.”
“Are you reciting the Bismillah?”
“I am not reciting it.”
“If you are not reciting, where is your lineage?”
Giddy up! You are in the animals’ category, because animals are not responsible; that honor is granted to Man. Allah Almighty granted His honor to Man and He (swt) blessed His Beloved from the treasures of honor. He (swt) granted the Caliphate to His Beloved, that our Prophet (s) dressed in the dress of glorifying, showing high respect to Allah Almighty's Holy Name. His every word is for glorifying Allah Almighty, his every single word! Our Master, the Master of Creation (s), has not any word which was not for glorifying Allah Almighty. Our Prophet (s) never said a word for dunya. Hashaa! Dunya belongs to animals, but whoever is dressed with the rank of Man, they have honor. There is no honor for dunya; the honor of dunya is only because the Prophet (s) of the prophets, the Sultan (s) of the prophets set foot here, and who cannot appreciate this honor is on the level of animals!
Our Prophet, the Master of Creation, never said a word for dunya. Hashaa! Our Prophet (s) did not come to glorify dunya, no! Our Prophet, our Sultan, the Beloved of Allah! (Mawlana Shaykh Nazim stands.) We may stand up even a hundred times for Hazrati Muhammad al-Mustafa (s)! He (s) came to make the people dress in the dress of honor, he didn't come to glorify dunya, to make service for dunya. Hashaa! His every word--the Prophet of the End of Times, our Master, the Sultan of the Prophets--his every single word is for Allah (swt)! You cannot see any word of his that glorifies dunya. Hashaa, hashaa thumma kallaa! How could he say anything for dunya, when for dunya he said:
الدني جيفة و طلابها كلابها
Ad-dunya jeefatun wa tulaabuhaa kilaabuhaa.
The world is a carcass and those who seek it out are dogs.
He said, “Dunya is a carcass,” wa tulaabuhaa kilaabuhaa, and he said, “Those who run after the carcass are dogs.” It is not the honor of Man to run after dunya: dunya runs after Man, Man does not run after dunya!
One day our Prophet (s) visited the Mountain of Uhud. After that visit, the Companions (r) were present there and the Sun was rising and our Prophet (s) said to his Companions (r), “The Sun is rising. I will stand here and you will run from there and come to me.”
The Companions were astonished, but they said, “Okay, yaa Rasoolullah!”
He (s) said, “Run!” and they ran. When they ran, of course the sun was rising from there and they were running towards the sun. Our Prophet (s) said, “Run towards me.” When he said, “Run to me,” they came. Our Prophet (s) said, “O my Companions! I will stand here and you come running towards me.” The Companions (r) were standing there and our Prophet (s) was standing here. The Companions (r) started to run towards our Prophet (s) and our Prophet (s) said, “Look, how are your shadows?”
They said, “Our shadows? We can't catch them.”
He said, “Catch your shadow.” They ran but no matter how much they ran, the shadow ran faster than them. It runs, it runs away from them. Then he (s) said, “Now run towards me.” The sun had risen from that side and was moving towards our Prophet (s). He (s) said, "Run!” and they ran.
He (s) said, “Look behind you.”
“Yaa Rasoolullah! Our shadows that were running away from us before are now running after us!”
“O my Companions! When you run towards me this dunya comes running after you, but when you leave me and go away from the Sun you run away with your shadows, your shadow also runs away before you and you can't get a hold of your shadow. Your shadow is this dunya: if you run after dunya, you can't get hold of it. We are here and who comes towards us finds us, he finds us, he finds the honor with us. Whatever greatness Allah Almighty granted for Mankind, you find it in us! If you run towards us, your shadow will also run after us and that shadow of yours will follow you, so there is no need to run after it. Run to me so that this dunya runs after you, but if you leave me and try to get hold of your shadow, the shadow will run before you and run away and you won't be able to get hold of it!”
For this there has never been anyone who was able to get a hold of dunya because when you run after it, it runs away like your shadow; however, if you don't run after it and move towards our Prophet (s), our Prophet, who is the representative of Allah Almighty, came to this world to teach how Man should appreciate his humanity and how the honor of Man should be. Our Prophet (s) invited you to himself, he didn't invite you to dunya! If you run after dunya, dunya will run away from you, and look, it is running away!
He is saying, “If you come towards me, your shadow will come running after you. Follow me and your dunya as well as your Akhirah will be prosperous.”
For this, Man's appreciation, his honor and value, lie in walking behind the Great Prophet (s), who came from Malakoot and keeping his way. If you keep his way, your rank will be high and you will be honorable; if not, ad-dunya jeefatun, you run after the carcass! Who runs to us runs to His Lord, who leaves us and runs after dunya.... What does “jeefah” mean? Are there jackals, wild dogs that run after carcasses and if they run after it that is what they will get.
What we will get is “`IndaLlah," which is in the Presence of Allah Almighty! What we want is this, we don't want the carcass. This is the appreciation of dunya; dunya's value is all about this. So follow us so that you will be appreciated; if not, run as much as you can, but you will get tired, exhausted and finally in the end you will fall and your life will be taken and a rotten carcass will be left there! But look at the bodies of those who say, “Allah,” who go towards His Prophet (s). A beautiful, clean smell comes from them, because they used all their taqdeer, appreciation for Allah Almighty, on the Way of Allah Almighty's acceptance, on the way of our Prophet (s) and such a beautiful smell comes out when the soul leaves the body in the last moment, a beautiful smell comes out. If not, people close their noses from his bad smell, and there are so many who die and people are disturbed by their smell. Even after they are put in their grave, a bad smell comes out of their graves and people run away from it!
O People! Appreciate your humanity, because Allah Almighty granted you such an honor that you must appreciate it. Allah Dhul-Jalaal granted you that rank so that you appreciate it, not so that you run after carcasses like jackals. Shame on those people who cannot appreciate the honor of their existence! The Prophet (s) came to teach people the honor and value of humanity.
Allah Almighty says, Asta`eedhu billah:
وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ
Wa laqad karamnaa Bani Adam.
We have honored the Children of Adam. (Surat al-'Israa, 17:70)
“We granted the Children of Adam such a grant that is enough for them to reach our Divine Presence.” If you want to enter that Presence, say “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem,” and all doors
open for you. If you don't say it, the opened doors close in your face and like jackals, like wolves, you
search for carcasses, search for a hunt in the mountains!
O People! Appreciate your humanity so that Allah Almighty is pleased with you and that the Great Prophet (s) says for you, "Yaa Rabbee! This one is from my nation, may his rank be high.” He (s) is the Sultan. Allah Almighty dressed the dress of sultanate on our Prophet and He (swt) is also dressing the ones who appreciate our Prophet. What is the key to his door? Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem is the key. Open! Recite, "Alhamdullahi Rabbee 'l-`Alameen,” recite Surat al-Fatihah and see how your day will go, experience it, don't stay at the animal level!
Well, there are some animals like sheep and goats that eat clean things, sheep and their like, and there are some other animals-- jackals, dogs, hyenas--that don't eat what sheep eat but search for carcasses. These animals look for carcasses, but sheep and goats look for their clean provision from the Earth, so they are clean and their meat can be eaten. Pigs cannot be eaten, dogs cannot be eaten and the animals like them cannot be eaten, it is haraam. Also, who insists to eat it becomes a pig as a result of it; he also becomes a dog, a hyena or a bear. Get out from among them by saying, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem!”
O our Lord! Grant us from Your halaal provision so we will eat from it and make service for You, yaa Rabbee! You appreciated us, You informed us about our honor by Your Beloved (s). Yaa Rabbee! Don't make us to be away from Your door. Who goes away from Allah's Door? Who doesn't say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem” moves away from Allah's Door and goes to Shaytan's door. He falls to Shaytan's service, and who falls to Shaytan's service is not Man, he becomes the dog of Shaytan and he doesn’t do any good to himself or others. There are these millions of people who are all being servants to Shaytan and he doesn't let them say the Word of Allah. We have a great nation and they don't even let the people say the Bismillah. They have no value, they have no honor left, because they don't respect the Bismillah. That is why no one respects them, because they have no value left.
Our sultans drew their swords with the Bismillah from the east to the west. These ones now can't draw. Why? Because they don't have the Bismillah, they replaced the Bismillah with a portrait. If you put a portrait, then go to the portrait to save you! May Allah forgive us.
Here we spoke about the Bismillah, like a speck from an ocean; they made us speak it. Whether it is 1,000 years, 10,000 years or 100,000 thousand years, the people who appreciate the virtues of the Bismillah win and the world is filled with the noor of the Bismillah. Now there is no one who recites the Bismillah and they have no value left, they became zero. They entered the category of jackals and bears. Arabs call hyena, “wawi.” They have become hyenas and run after carcasses. Dunya is a carcass, don't run after it!
Allah Almighty appreciated you, He (swt) granted you clean provision and His service. We may say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem!” O our Lord! Forgive us. May You send us Your clean servants who will show us ways like this. O Lord! May You send us Your awliya who dress in the Dress of Magnificence, may You send us from Your servants who love and respect You, who are majestic ones, may who look at Your Face fear and their hearts tremble! We may say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem!”
Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
May Allah accept these few words of today that were inspired to us and they made us say them. They are warning the people, all Mankind, “Wake up or the whip is coming!” Where is the whip coming from? The other day they told me that a rock (meteor) exploded and fell on Russians' heads. Russia is the wildest one and they were the first to execute this infliction that they call Communism. For this, to warn them, He (swt) made a rock to explode there. They say it is a small rock, but Allah knows how small it is. It exploded and glass broke in thousands of peoples’ faces, strong buildings shook and rotten ones collapsed, people were injured and they were astonished in fear. This is only one rock, but if it was a little larger it could take all Russia! If it was larger, it could even kick and throw away the world! Accept Allah, fear Allah! Don't say, “Nothing happens to me.” A rock may fall on your head and when a rock falls on your head, no cure for it can be found. Its only cure is Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem! The ones without the Bismillah will disappear. Those who will survive are the ones who say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.”
Now the time has changed and their cannons or weapons don't do any good. If a clean servant of Allah (swt) says, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem,” it can stop all their weapons! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar wa lillahi ‘l-hamd. Say this and march! This is our work now. You forgot it? Then suffer what will come to your head! He will suffer what comes to him at that time. Tawbah, yaa Rabbee! Tawbah, yaa Rabbee!
Repent and return to Your Lord! Make sajda and say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem;” otherwise, there will be no cure for you and you will have endless troubles. You will live in vain, in difficulties, and just like that meat grinder, the wheel of life will crush you, puncture you and make you upside down and throw you away, saying, “Let the dogs eat him!” Yaa Rabbee, tawbah! Yaa Rabbee, tawbah.
Repent, O Mankind, Turks and Arabs and Iranians! Don't try to kill the people, repent to Allah! Allah did not create you to kill people; if He (swt) created you for this, then instead of “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem,” a Name like “Bismillahi ‘l-Qahhar” would come, ordering, “Destroy the people!” But He (swt) said, “Rahmani 'r-Raheem,” be merciful! Allah Almighty wants mercy: irhamu man fi 'l-ardi yarhamukum man fi ‘s-samaai, “Show mercy to My servants, to the ones I created on Earth and Allah Almighty (Who rules over the Heavens and the whole Creation) may show mercy to you.”
Every day fires, every day hurricanes, every day snow, every day hail, every day floods, but Mankind still doesn't understand the lesson. Come to your senses! One day you may see that He (swt) makes the continents collide into each other and then people sink into the ocean like a ship with a hole! Amaan, yaa Rabbee! Tawbah, yaa Rabbee! Tawbah astaghfirullah! We may say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.” Tawbah, yaa Rabbee! Tawbah, yaa Rabbee! Tawbah astaghfirullah! "I didn't create you to kill each other." Do the Arabs not know Arabic? Did Allah (swt) say, “Kill each other.” No! Shaytan told you, “Kill each other.” Allah (swt) said:
وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَنفُسَكُمْ
Wa laa taqtuloo anfusakum
Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves. (Surat an-Nisa, 4:29)
Allah Almighty says, “Don't kill the living Creation; Man should not kill Man! Show mercy so that you will be shown mercy.” Amaan, yaa Rabbee! May You send us Your servants who will teach us this. Tubnaa wa raja`na ilayk. And we may say, “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem” and we may enter those Mercy Oceans! Our dunya will be prosperous and we'll be safe from the torment in Akhirah. May Paradises be granted to us.
