All Creation Is in Need of Sayyidina Muhammad (s)

A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem.
First of all, it is important to know that as we were reciting Qasidat al-Burdah al-Shareef, where one of the verses says, wa kullu min rasoolillaahi multamisun gharfan min al-bahri aw rashfan min ad-diyami, which we explained last time but mention it here. When Imam al-Busayri (r) understood the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad (s), it means he dived in the ocean of Prophet’s knowledge and understood that no one can reach that ocean, as no wali nor nabi can reach what Prophet (s) reached. If you add all the knowledge of awliya, anbiya and scholars in the present, past and until the Day of Judgment, including scientific knowledge, whether they are Muslim or not, it is not even a drop in the ocean of Prophet’s knowledge! We have to understand this difference.
There is no scholar on earth who can legitimately claim he knows something. Unfortunately, today they put every title in front of the names of scholars such as “Shaykh,” “`Allama Sahib” and “Mawlana so-and-so” to distinguish that he is knowledgeable, although whatever he studied is not a drop in the ocean of the knowledge of a wali. The knowledge of a wali is not a drop in the ocean of a nabi, and the knowledge of all anbiya, awliya and `ulama that exists in the universe is not a drop in the ocean of Prophet (s)! Then how can we say that we know something?
Allah (swt) said in the Holy Qur’an:
???????? ????? ??? ?????? ???????
wa fawqa kulli dhi `ilmin `aleem.
Above every knower is a (higher) knower. (Surah Yusuf, 12:76)
There are six-billion people on earth and over everyone there is someone higher in knowledge. Don’t think that if you are a professor you know something, because there is a professor who knows more than you. In normal life, not in religious life, there are professors who know more than others, and there are knowledges above others, so what do you think about religious knowledge? You cannot compare knowledge that is created with uncreated knowledge, which is the Holy Qur’an. Anyone who says Holy Qur’an it is created has committed kufr and is outside the fold of Islam, because it is Allah’s Divine Words, which are not created.
What did Allah (swt) reply when Sayyidina Musa (a) asked, “O my Lord! Show Yourself to me, that I may look upon You.”
He asked things that he should not have; it was improper, but he asked because he thought he was so near to the Divine Presence that he could ask. That is why in the Holy Qur’an you see he asks a lot of questions. Sayyidina Muhammad (s) did not ask a single question; he surrendered to Allah’s Will

Qaala rabbee arinee anzhur ilayk, qaala lan taraanee wa laakin unzhur ila ’l-jabali, fa in istaqarrra makaanuhu fa-sawfa taraanee, fa lamaa tajalla rabbuhu li 'l-jabali ja`alahoo dakkan wa khara Moosa saa`iqan, falammaa afaaqa qaala subhaanaka tubtu ilayk, wa anaa awwal al-mumineen.
He said, "O my Lord! Show Yourself to me, that I may look upon You." Allah said, "By no means can you see Me (directly), but look upon the mountain; if it abides in its place, then you shall see Me." When his Lord manifested His glory on the mount, He made it as dust, and Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses, he said, "Glory be to You! To You I return in repentance, and I am the first to believe." (Surat al-`Araaf, 7:143)
So Sayyidina Musa asked, “O Allah! Let me see You.” Allahu Akbar! How can a created being see an Uncreated Being, the One Who creates? What kind of Beautiful Names and Attributes is he going to see? Allah (swt) approached him nicely and did not say, “No, you cannot see Me. Go away from here! What kind of question are you asking?” Rather, He said, “You cannot see Me, but if you want to see Me look at the mountain. If the mountain stays in its place when I manifest My Beautiful Names and Attributes upon it (not My Self), you will see Me. If not, you cannot see Me.”
When Allah (swt) manifested His Beautiful Names and Attributes on the mountain, it shattered into powder. Can anyone carry Divine or uncreated words? What did Allah manifest on the mountain? Ismullah al-`Azham, Allah’s Greatest Name that no one knows, but it is in the Holy Qur’an. Many awliya and pious people have said it is in Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem, in these three Beautiful Names, “Allah,” “ar-Rahman,” and “ar-Raheem.”
Prophet (s) said, “Whoever recites, “Qul huwa Allahu Ahad” three times, it is as if he read the entire Qur’an.” Scholars say Ismullah al-`Azham is in “Qul huwa Allahu Ahad.” In any case, we are not explaining that, but we will say that when Allah manifested His Beautiful Names and Attributes on the mountain, it shattered:

Law anzalnaa haadha ’l-Quraana `alaa jabalin la-raa’itahu khaashi`an mutasadi`an min khashyatillah.
Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, you would have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. (Surat al-Hashr, 59:21)
Allah (swt) is showing that everything is in sajda; even the highest mountain of the Himalayas would fall down in sajda! But Allah (swt) said:
?????? ???????????? ??? ???????? ?????????
Innaa anzalnaahu fee laylatil-qadr.
We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power. (Surat al-Qadr, 97:1)
“We have revealed this Message to Muhammad!” Sayyidina Muhammad (s) was able to receive it; he did not shatter nor did he crack and his heart was able to take the Holy Qur’an completely, as he was strong, which is why Allah (swt) said in Holy Qur’an:
??????????? ??????? ?????????? ?????? ????????????
Ar-Rahmaan. `Allama 'l-qur'an. Khalaqa 'l-insaan.
(God) Most Gracious! It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. He has created Man.
(Surat ar-Rahman, 55:1-3)
Allah (swt), in the Attribute of Rahmah, taught the Holy Qur’an. But to whom, as there was no creation. Allah mentioned “khalaqa ‘l-insaan” after “`allama al-Qur’an.” Who was created before that creation? Sayyidina Muhammad (s)!
???? ??? ?????? ????? ?? ???? ?? ??? ???? ???? ??? ???: ?? ???? ????? ???? ??? ????? ?????? ?? ??? ??? ???? ???? ??? ???????. ???: ?? ????? ?? ???? ????? ??? ??? ??????? ??? ???? ?? ?????...
`An Jaabir ibn `AbdAllah qaala: qultu yaa Rasoolullah, bi-abee anta wa ummee, akhbirnee `an awwala shayin khalaqahu ’Llaaha qabla’l-ashyaa? Qaala: yaa Jaabir, inn Allaha ta`ala khalaqa qabla al-ashyaa noora nabiyyika min noorih...
When Jaabir (r) asked, “Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you, oh Prophet of Allah! What is the first thing that Allah (swt) created?” the Prophet (s) said, “The first thing that Allah (swt) created is the Light of your Prophet from His Light, O Jaabir.” (Musannaf `Abdu ’r-Razzaq)
So this means Allah (swt) revealed and taught the Holy Qur’an without any intermediary, directly to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) when he was “Noor min Noorullah.” That is why Prophet (s) said:
??????? ???? ????????
Al-`ulama warathatu 'l-anbiyaa.
The (genuine) scholars are inheritors of the prophets.
But he did not say, “`Ulama are my inheritors,” as awliyaullah are the inheritors of Prophet (s). So the power of the knowledge Allah (swt) is revealing to Prophet (s) is unknown to everyone except Sayyidina Muhammad (s), which means the knowledge everyone else has acquired is no more than a drop!
Sayyidina al-Busayri (r) understood this when he said, Wa kullu min rasoolillaahi multamisun, “Everyone is seeking Prophet (s) to take from him.” The meaning of “multamis” is “to request” or “beg;” it is sifatu ’r-rajaa. It does not meant “to ask,” but rather “to petition” and also “please,” as in, “Can I please have that?” So it means everyone is in need of Prophet (s) and Allah (swt) showed us, “O Believers! Ummat an-Nabi (s), all those from previous nations,” and, “O Adam! You need Muhammad (s)!”
What happened when Sayyidina Adam (a) ate from the tree? He went into sajda, saying, “Yaa Rabbee, The One Who is the Rabb of Muhammad (s), forgive me!”
Allah (swt) asked, “How do you know about Muhammad (s)?”
Sayyidina Adam (a) said, “I saw his name written everywhere in Paradise!”

Alam nashrah laka sadrak wa wada`na `anka wizrak. Alladhee anqada zhahrak.
Have We not expanded for you your breast? And We removed from you your burden that weighed so heavily on your back. (Surat ash-Sharh, 94:1-3)
Allah (swt) is saying to Prophet (s), “Why are you sad? Did we not expand your chest, your heart, your power and everything for you? Ask and I will give you!” That is why Imam al-Busayri (r) said, “Everyone is taking from Prophet (s).” Even angels are taking from Prophet; Allah made them make salawaat on Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! So if angels are making salawaat, what about Muslims? For example, let’s say for that we make somewhere between one-thousand to one-million salawaat on Prophet (s) daily. Allah (swt) said to angels:
????? ??????? ??????????????? ?????????? ????? ?????????? ??? ???????? ????????? ??????? ??????? ???????? ??????????? ??????????
Inna-Llaaha wa malaa'ikatahu yusalloona `ala 'n-nabiyy, yaa ayyuha ’Lladheena aamanoo salloo `alayhi wa sallimoo tasleema.
Verily, Allah and His angels send praise on the Prophet. O Believers! Pray upon him and greet him.
(Surat al-'Ahzaab, 33:56)
Every moment angels are making salawaat non-stop on the Prophet (s), and their “moment” is not like ours. Salawaat made by one angel is unlike the other and, therefore, it is impossible to imagine! How many people are here today, one or two-hundred? Each one of them may recite a different salawaat. The second salawaat recited by one angel in one moment is different than the first, the third is different than the second, and so on; different moment, different salawaat. And the salawaat of one angel has to be different than the other as there is no repetition. They are making all of these salawaat for Sayyidina Muhammad (s)!
Therefore, Allah (swt) is saying to us, “O Believers! Make salawaat on Prophet (s)!” You are not better than the angels and the angels are not better than a mu’min or a Muslim, but Allah honored us more than He honored angels:
???????? ?????????? ????? ?????
Wa laqad karamnaa Bani Adam.
We have honored the Children of Adam. (Surat al-'Israa, 17:70)
So Allah (swt) honored us by saying, “Make salawaat! Why are you stingy? Angels are making salawaat at every moment and you are not, but don’t worry because even one salawaat is heavier than all your `amal on the Scale!”
There are many ahadith on this topic. For just one salawaat, Allah (swt) will give you ten. You cannot make salawaat on Allah; instead, you make istaghfaar. Allah is saying, “If you make istighfaar, I will not return it by istighfaar, I will forgive you! But if you make one salawaat I will give you ten, and My salawaat is not like yours!”
So for one salawaat, Allah gives you ten; for one-hundred He gives one-thousand; for one-thousand salawaat He gives ten-thousand up to 700,000 as He mentioned in the Holy Qur’an. When you make one salawaat He gives you ten; so when that one salawaat is placed on the Scale, in reality it will be those ten salawaat He gave to you! How then will the Scale not be heavier than all your sins?
So for just one salawaat in your lifetime, Allahumma salli `alaa Muhammadin wa `ala aali Muhammadin wa sallim (the most simplest), Allah will give you ten salawaat that will be heavier on the Scale than all of your `amal, as He (swt) said:
??????????? ???????? ????? ??????
Rahmatee wasi`at kulli shay.
My Mercy encompasses everything. (Surat al-A`raaf, 7:156)
May Allah (swt) teach us the best adab with Prophet (s), with awliyaullah, and that we always ask Allah for the sake of Prophet (s), as adab is to enter a house through the door and our door is Sayyidina Muhammad (s)! We do not care about what a very small group of people are saying; they are only a small minority getting paid to spread the wrong kind of teaching! So we only care for the love of Allah (swt) and Prophet (s)!
The Bedouin came to Prophet (s) and asked, “When is the Day of Judgment, yaa Rasoolullah?”
Prophet (s) said, “It is a long journey, what have you prepared for it?”
He replied, “I am coming to you with no `amal, no prayers or fasting, but I only come with my love, because I love you, muhabbatak yaa Rasoolullah!”
Then Prophet (s) answered:
???? ????? ?? ?? ???
Yuhshar al-maruw ma` man ahab.
Each person will be resurrected with the one he loves.
Inshaa-Allah yaa Rabbee, we are asking and requesting you to put Your Love, the love of Prophet (s) and awliyaullah in our hearts! May Allah (swt) forgive us and bless us, and make this a blessed evening, and bless the marriage between Sanaa and Bilal, and bless Muhammad Jamil and his wife. Congratulations to our son, Shaukat and his wife. May Allah bless everyone.
Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
