Advice to Turkish Mureeds for the End Times

Sultan al-Awliya

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani

13 March 2011 Lefke, Cyprus

(Translated from Turkish)

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: What is your name?

Guest: Orhan.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: Orhan Gazi! Whoever asks me for a name, if it’s a boy, I tell them, “Usman Gazi,” and if others ask, I tell them, “Orhan Gazi.” I’m going to fill the whole country with Orhan Gazis and Usman Gazis! Let it be known that the people of this nation belong to the Ottomans! They have respect for the Ottomans and are the children of the Ottomans.

They planted a tree. You know about Edebali Hazretleri’s dream. Do you know? (He saw) a tree coming out of his shirt, covering the east and the west, only one tree! They were a handful people from the Karakecili tribe; they came there and went down to Sogut Town. Do they teach you about these things?

Guest: These teachings are no longer in okul, schools, but yes, we have studied them.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: Don’t say okul!

Guest: Mektep.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: They’ve also ruined our lisaan, language.

Guest: You are right.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: (They say,) “The new dil, tongue.” Don’t say tongue! Whose tongue? Cow’s, donkey’s, bird’s tongue? What is this?!

Anyways, the tree they planted grew, grew, and grew so much that it covered all three continents, and these were people from a single tribe. They planted a seed that became this great, mighty tree. The other day someone brought me a tree. I looked at it and said, “It looks like a pine tree, but has fallen extremely short in height!” This one was saying, “Shaykh Effendi, this tree is 25-years-old; these type of trees won’t grow much.”

The Ottomans are that great big pine tree. These people, however, are like this tree that stopped growing. Even if 90 years passed it won’t grow, and when they plant it, it shrinks even more. Keep these advices! Our ancestors were like a pine tree, but theirs had reached all three continents. So now show them this (dwarf tree) and say, “Look! This is how big your government and the rules and regulations you have established are: it won’t grow more than this.”

What can we do now? Come and show it to the camera. This is the tree that’s supposedly 25-years-old! (Mawlana Shaykh points to a dwarf tree planted in a pot). This is a pine tree as well, but it won’t grow; it is a representation of these people. The Ottomans were a strong and stable pine tree; it held the whole world. But these people, it can only grow this much. Okay, maybe they look alike, yes, but this poor one says, “I can not grow. What can I do?”

And I say, “Then I shall plant you in the garden so you could grow there.”

“Shaykh Effendi,” says the tree, “The garden won’t do; it all depends on which soil we are planted in. It won’t work by planting me on a rock. I want my place! I can be like the Ottomans too, but the soil of these people do not resemble that of the Ottomans. That’s why I’m confined to remain like this.” For 90 years they couldn’t even grow one centimeter. This (dwarf tree) is a representation of them. Did you understand?

Wake up! We are leaving, so you will be the ones to wake up and learn. In any case, we could speak up to next week, as there are endless issues. They brought people into such a state that they’ve become alcoholics, they’ve become addicted to cigarettes. “O Shaykh Effendi! What is alcohol and what are cigarettes? Now the youth is being poisoned from that other white poison (drugs), finished.” This is the outcome of their works. The Turkish Republic gave people freedom to do as they like. We no longer have religious discipline; everyone does as they like, because no one can tell the other to stop! There now! Let them be happy with what they’ve done! Let them be happy.

I am speaking from what is coming to my heart. They may like it or not. I am not receiving a monthly salary for this, so I am speaking! They brought this tree, and it speaks to me. (Mawlana Shaykh converses with the tree.) The tree is saying, “Shaykh Effendi, I am 25-years-old.”

“In a few years, you will reach my age.”

“I would have, only if they hadn’t planted me in this small pot, but if I was planted in a large open area. They forced me in here with all these laws; therefore, I can not grow more than this. That’s why I have remained very small. My kind have become these great trees! But how shall I grow when they are pinning me down will all these laws? So this is why I have remained like this.”

May Allah forgive us. Welcome! May your end be in goodness. May Allah make our faces bright. Let us come back to ourselves; they have cut us off from our real identities. We are not the type of people they can accept. We are the Ottomans, finished! One day the Ottomans will kick them out. One day the Ottomans will be known, they will be resurrected. One day the Ottomans will correct the injustice that was done to themselves, and punish them. Yaa Rabbee, forgive us! Make us reach to pleasant days. Make us reach to those days once more, where Islam’s light is shining! Yaa Rabbee, for the sake of your beloved one, yaa Rabb, these young ones are entrusted to You!

Fatihah.

Guest: A few days ago, there was a tsunami, an earthquake in Japan. What is...

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim: It is not necessary to ask what it was. These people are using their technologies to fight with Allah, but in five seconds He turned a nation with the strongest technology upside down! These are people who deny the Heavens. He left them for some time, then shook them for three seconds and the whole sea was boiling! If it had boiled for five seconds, the tsunami would have entered Japan from one side and come out the other, not leaving a single man alive. They call this, “heavenly mighty power.”

They say, “We have nuclear bombs,” or “atomic bombs,” or whatever it may be. They’ve gone too far! And look how He destroyed them within five seconds. The amount of damage and loss can not be counted. They don’t tell you how many people have died. Maybe millions have perished! You should also know that where we put our foot is not a solid ground. In an instant He can turn this place upside down. These people will come to know Allah and if not, Allah Almighty will destroy them. Fear Allah! Amaan yaa Rabbee! Tawbah yaa Rabbee! Tawbah astaghfirullah!

There is also a fear for Istanbul. No one should remain in Istanbul! I am responsible to say this: Istanbul will be destroyed. However, there are many new places in Istanbul and all of them will crumble. There’s no count for the amount of people who will end up under ruins. Everyone coming from Anatolia must empty Istanbul! If not, everything will befall them. That ocean exploded. Now when Marmara explodes, it will completely sweep it away. If Karadeniz explodes, it will sweep away half of Anatolia! We seek refuge in Allah. I am fearing; Cyprus is also in danger. It may sink! Afterwards there is no way of escaping because we are living in days where the signs of the Last Days have emerged.

People think that prophecy, or what Prophet (s) has predicted, is all just a game, an entertainment, but their turn will come! They will drown in mud, as the sea will be like mud. It will melt from its heat. Millions will drown, they will finish. We seek refuge in Allah! Be careful! Let’s get back on track, because we have gone too far! May Allah forgive us.

Take care for salaah, your prayers. Also recite daily, “RabbunAllah, HasbunAllah” at least 100 times. This is a very powerful dhikr.

Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Llah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa habeebuhu wa rasooluh. Put your hands here (Mawlana extends his cane to his guests and gives them bay`a.) This is from the sunnah of our Prophet (s), our Master, who took bay`a from the Sahabah (r) and we are his imitators. All what the Prophet (s) has done is perfect. We just want to be like him.

Allah Hu Allah Hu Allah Hu Haqq!

Allah Hu Allah Hu Allah Hu Haqq!

Allah Hu Allah Hu Allah Hu Haqq!

HasbunAllahu wa ni`mal wakeel, ni`mal mawlaa wa ni`man naseer, ghufraanaka Rabbana wa ilaykal maseer. Allahumma thabbithum `ala ‘l-haqq! Allahumma thabbithum `ala ‘l-haqq! Allahumma thabbitnaa `ala ‘l-haqq!

Bi jaahi man anzalta `alayhi surat al-Fatihah!

This is the Prophet’s sunnah. We entrust everyone who comes and goes; may Allah look after you. Keep your prayers, even if it may be two rak`ats. Do not go out at night; when it’s night time, enter your homes, your rooms. Don’t waste your time with maa laa ya`neeh! Use your time wisely: read, learn, and teach!
