A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem.
Nawaytu 'l-arba`een, nawaytu 'l-`itikaaf, nawaytu 'l-khalwah, nawaytu 'l-`uzlah,
nawaytu 'r-riyaadah, nawaytu 's-sulook, lillahi ta`ala fee haadha 'l-masjid.
A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytaani 'r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmaani 'r-Raheem.
Alhamdulillah al-ladhee qaala qul Huwa Allahu Ahad... Huwa as-Samad al-ladhee... safa nafsahu bil samadiyya. Allah (swt) is praising Himself by Himself, saying, “Alhamdulillahi Rabbi ‘l-`Alameen,” which means, “No one can praise or glorify Me except Myself!”
And when the Prophet (s) showed the prayers to the Sahaabah (r), he said, “First, what you need to recite that completes the prayer is Surat al-Fatihah.” Even if you don't read any surah or ayah after Surat al-Fatihah, the prayer is complete as long as you read it. To show the importance of Surat al-Fatihah, Allah (swt) made it to be recited at the beginning of the Holy Qur'an, Fatihat al-Kitaab, Alhamdulillahi Rabbi ‘l-`Alameen,“Praise be to Allah, the Creator of everything...”
So whenever we have to begin with any action, we must begin with al-Fatihah, as we begin with “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.” Some `ulama say “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem” is a part of al-Fatihah, so that when you say “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem,” immediately you recite al-Fatihah.
`Aalamma kaana afdal al-`amaal wa ashraf ittiba` as-sunnah.
The best and most honored of actions is to follow the sunnah of the Prophet.
قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Qul in kuntum tuhibboona Allaha fattabi`oonee yuhbibkumu Allahu wa yaghfir lakum dhunoobakum wa Allahu Ghafooru 'r-Raheem.
Say (O Muhammad), "If you (really) love Allah, then follow me! Allah will love you and forgive your sins, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Aali `Imraan, 3:31)
It is a shart, conditional, fatabi`oonee, yuhbibkumullah, “You follow me then Allah loves you and if you don’t follow me then you lose.” And we are always in a complete struggle between our inner self, one moment following it and the next moment not following it. It is a struggle between good and evil. So to follow, Allah guided us through the Prophet (s) and showed us a way. If you buy something today they give you instructions, “Do this first, then this, then this,” then you get the results you need. You cannot get a computer to work if you don’t put different software in it. So if for a computer you need lots of software, to follow the Prophet (s) how many software would you need? It is not going to be easy. The computer sometimes doesn't function, they say it has a virus; by comparison, how many viruses do we have that make us not function? There are a lot of viruses that stop us from functioning well. So to show us the instructions, the Prophet (s) said, “It is an instruction, it is an order, that if you don’t follow it you lose.” He (s) said:
تَرَكْتُ فِيكُمْ كِتَابَ اللهِ وَعِتْرَتِي
Taraktu feekum kitaabullah wa `itratee.
I left behind the Holy Qur’an and my Family. (Sahih Muslim)
أنا مدينة العلم و علي بابه
Ana madinatu ‘l-`ilmi wa `Aliyyun baabuha.
I am the City of Knowledge and Sayyidina `Ali (r) is its door. (al-Haakim, Tirmidhi)
And so that is a way. We have a saying, “The ways to Allah (swt) are on the number of breaths of human beings.” So it means the Prophet (s) didn't leave us without instructions. To give us much bigger instructions to understand and to follow the sunnah is not easy, it is a big struggle. He said, taraktu feekum, the same as the previous hadeeth, kitaabullahi wa `itratee, “I left behind two things; if you follow the book of Allah and my family. Don’t say yumanin, ‘I am doing this for you,’ or ‘We are praying and fasting...’ because you have to do that (it is obligatory on you). I am asking you to take care of my Family.”
What is happening to the Family of the Prophet (s)? There is no more respect for Ahlul-Bayt! Some now say, “You cannot differentiate between people as all are the same.” But in the Holy Qur'an the Prophet (s) is saying, “I am not asking any reward from you, but take care of my Family.” If you take care of the his Family you are showing love to the Prophet (s)!
Yuhshar al-maru ma` man ahab.
Each one will be raised with the one he loves.
So if you show love to a sayyid, a member of Prophet’s Family, you will love Prophet (s). Do you want to be with the Prophet (s)? You have to find the sayyids around the world and catch them, and ask them to pray for us. Now very few are doing that and we cannot base our foundation on few people. Until the whole ummah stands up for love of the Prophet (s) and His Family, you are going to see Allah does not support the ummah and there will be no way to stop this violence unless Sayyidina al-Mahdi (a) appears.
If the situation in Turkey escalates and they fight on the Plain of Umuq, where they are saying they want to make a safe haven for the army, if this happens, it magnifies the hadith of the Prophet (s) about the appearance of Sayyidina Mahdi (a), that there will be big war between Ahlu ‘l-Islam and ar-Rum, which is usually the Orthodox (meaning here Orthodox Christians in Russia). In Russia. there will be … of Bani Asfar, the yellow faces in Sahl `Umuq, where they want to make a safe haven. They don’t read the hadith of the Last Days to say, “We don’t want to touch that,” because it is veiled, covered to them, so they don’t see it and it is moving forward.
The Prophet (s) mentioned more than a hundred ahadeeth of the virtues of Sham (Damascus) in the Last Days. Most of the Ahl al-Bayt are buried there and the best of the ummah are there. Don’t say, “We are here,” and feel discouraged; no, simply by reciting “Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem” you will be there in Sham! The Prophet (s) said:
Toobaa liman kaana lahu qabrun fi ’sh-shaam.
Good tidings for the one who has a grave in Sham.
Because anyone who enters Sham for twenty-four hours, even if he a lot of sins, with the rahmat coming on Sham, it takes away the sins, that is specific to Sham. The hadith of the Prophet (s) is any prayer made in Madinat al-Munawwarah is worth 10,000 prayers made elsewhere, and in Mecca any prayer is 100,000 prayers! That also means any breath or movement is a prayer in Madinah and Mecca and will be rewarded as prayers, not as they say “only the prayers.” But if we go with that, if you missed any prayers, go there and pray as if you prayed them all again and more, and still you must pray your missed prayer, but Allah is “Arham ar-Rahimeen.”
So good tidings to anyone who even has a grave in Sham, because the tajalli is going from Allah (swt) to the Prophet (s) and from him to Sham, because most of the Prophet’s (s) Family is there, and alhamdulillah you can visit them as their graves are not destroyed.
So what is expected from us? It is to follow sunnah of the Prophet (s), and part of the sunnah is to give respect to the Ahl al-Bayt, or else we will always be in a big, never-ending struggle.
Sayyidina `Umar (r) said:
Qaala rasoolullah inna min `ibadillah unaassin maa hum bi anbiyaa wa laa bi shuhadaa yaghbitahum al-anbiya wash-shuhadat yawm al-qiyamah.
There are among Allah's servants people who are not prophets and not martyrs,
Prophets and martyrs will be so happy to see them on the Day of Judgment, they are very happy to see their maqaam so high in the Divine Presence. And the Sahaabah (r) asked, “Yaa Rasoolullah! They are humans but above anbiya and awliyaullah, who love them as they are so close in the Divine Presence. Can you tell us who they are?” Prophet (s) said, “They are the people who love each other for the sake of Allah, with no relationship of family between them, they are only brothers and sisters who come for the love of the Prophet (s) and they don’t come for doing business together.” The Prophet (s) is giving an oath, “Their faces are light and they are light, and they don’t fear what people fear, and they don’t get sad when people get sad.”
And he read the ayah:
أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
alaa inna awliyaullahi laa khawfun `alayhim wa laa hum yahzanoon.
Behold! Verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve. (al-Yunus,10:62)
You must find these people! Allah (swt) and His Prophet (s) love them. We will stop here and continue later.
Wa min Allahi 't-tawfeeq, bi hurmati 'l-habeeb, bi hurmati 'l-Fatihah.
Mahdi (a) wants to come as soon as possible, he cannot take it more, he is asking, “Yaa Rabbee, when is it going to happen?” as he is seeing all these miseries around.

The Prophet (s) said, “For every illness there is a cure except death.” From our mashaykh’s teaching, they are saying that in onions and garlic there is cure for seventy different diseases, including cancer, for which awliyaullah recommend you extract the juice of white onion (not yellow onion) and drink an espresso-size cup of it twice a day, morning and evening, for forty consecutive days. Cancer is a poison that nothing stops except a stronger power which is found in the onion. If someone drinks poison by mistake or to commit suicide, it immediately enters between the flesh and begins to kill tissue. Cancer is similar: it goes between the skin and the tissue and begins to kill the tissue.
Every morning the Prophet (s) ate seven dates with a cup of milk, not the milk they sell here as it is like water, but real milk with all its nutrients intact. He (s) said, “This will kill poison in the body.” Such is the wisdom of the Prophet (s)! So in a modern experiment, scientists took a cup of milk and seven dates and put them in an artificial stomach that functions the same as the human stomach. They found that as soon as it is digested the milk and dates, a blue light went to the brain and the liver and from there it entered the skin and tissues. They found that blue light eliminates poison, makes the brain healthy and helps kill cancer cells!
These are the two things I recommend: two espresso cups of onion juice a day, morning and evening, and seven dates with milk every day. Try to do this non-stop for forty days. If she gets fed up of the onion, at least let her try the dates and milk. They will find the cancer will disappear, inshaa-Allah.
A mother of two came to us in New Jersey and said, crying, “I have a malignant brain tumor (cancerous) and they want to operate to remove it within two or three weeks.” So I read a du`a on her and also on water for her to drink, and told her to drink onion juice. The doctors told her she only had two-to-four months to live. She drank the onion juice and the water I read on and returned after two-to-three weeks and said, “I had an X-ray and they found the tumor is gone!” That is from the teaching of our mashaykh. So inshaa-Allah it gives health to your mother.
