(Du`a translated from Arabic)

As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullahi ta`ala wa barakatuh. In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Universes, and peace and blessings be upon the Most Honored of Messengers, our Master and our Prophet, Muhammad, and upon all his Family and Companions.

O Allah! Send peace, blessings, grace and honor upon Your Beloved, Muhammad, by whose Light dawned all lights and from whose love all realities came into existence and all days were born!

O my Master! O Messenger of Allah! O Mercy to the Worlds! Guide us with your glances! You are the First from the Light of Allah and the Last from the Light of Allah! You are the Beloved, Mustafa, who favored us .over many creations with a lofty favor, because of you, O Messenger of Allah! And by your coming, O Beloved of Allah, so are the most honored responsible ones, and you are the greatest one that came, in respect to Allah! So do not leave us to our egos and take us by the hand to the Presence of the Truth, the Glorified and Sublime!

O Messenger of Allah! O Beloved of Allah! Praise on the Prophet (s) and seeking his nazhra, glance at us. .. You are the Beloved Chosen One and the one whom Allah favored over much of whom He created for your sake, yaa Beloved of Allah! You are the Most Honored One! Don't leave us to ourselves for one moment, and take us by the hand to the Presence of Allah (swt)! Yaa Habeebullah, Yaa Rasoolullah (s)!

O Brothers and Sisters! Allah (swt) has favored us, first of all to be from Ummat an-Nabi (s) and to be Lovers of the Prophet (s). I prayed to my Lord, and the Lord knows; He knows my situation and He knows my question. So what is my question, and what is my situation? So my question is to You, O Lord, to make us be with the Beloved Mustafa in this world and the Hereafter, and to know my prayer. I’m calling to you, O Lord! You said:

وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ

Wa qaala rabbukumu ’d`oonee astajib lakum

But Your Lord said, “Call on Me, I will answer you.” (Surat al-Ghaafir, 40:60)

So answer us, O Allah, to see Your Beloved Muhammad, upon him the best peace and blessings!

You, O Allah! With Bismillah opened all Doors! With Bismillah opened all Treasures! With Bismillah opened the Light and the Light of Your Beloved Mustafa, upon him the best peace and blessings! You are the One Who answers prayers, so our prayer is limited and our situation is not hidden from You. So we ask You for forgiveness and we ask You, O our Lord, for an excuse, because of our limitations in all our prayers and in all our deeds and every moment our lives!

O our Lord! For You all of us are servants, O Allah! And it is the greatest right for the servant to say to You, “O Allah! There is none who can prevent what You gave and there is none who can give what You prevent!” So give to us without our asking and do not prevent us because of sins, as You are al-Qadir al-Muqtadir! You are ar-Raham ar-Raahimeen, The Most Merciful of those who show mercy!

O Knower of what is in our hearts! Bring out our hearts from darkness to the Light and manifest upon us with the tajalli of Your Beloved One, al-Mustafa! And with his greater manifestations make our hearts a throne to You, O Allah, and a Throne to Your Beloved Muhammad, upon him the best peace and blessings.

O Allah! You formed us and created us in the best picture and the best example, and with a most regal form and with a greatest beauty. You, O Allah, are The Capable, The Powerful, and You, O Allah, are The Almighty, The Compassionate, The Merciful! So have mercy on us with Your Compassion and have mercy on us with Your Mercy that is our way to our Lord, Most High, of which (that mercy) is Muhammad, upon him the best peace and blessings!

O Allah! We are begging You from this place! We are begging You from this mosque! We are begging You from this station! We are begging You, O Allah, from where You put us, that You not leave us and that You correct us by means of the Beloved Mustafa, upon him the best peace and blessings!

O Allah! O Lord! O Allah! O Lord! O Lord of Everything and the Lord of Muhammad and the Lord of all the Prophets and Messengers! So You are the Lord and we are the servants, and we are disobedient servants and You are a Forgiving Lord. So forgive us, O Allah! So forgive us, O Compassionate One! So forgive us, O Almighty One! So forgive us and have mercy on us by the coming of the Beloved al-Mustafa, upon him the best peace and blessings!

O Most Holy One, O Patient One, O Forgiver, O Merciful Lord, O Compassionate One! Bless us with mercy as you blessed Nuh (as) with mercy when you saved him from drowning in the flood... and from the disturbances of humans and jinn, and from the disturbances of everything that does not please You, O Allah, we beg You from this place and we ask, O Allah, by the coming of the Beloved, al-Mustafa, upon him the best peace and blessings, to rescue us from the Nimrod of this era as You rescued Ibraheem, upon him be peace! And You said:

قُلْنَا يَا نَارُ كُونِي بَرْدًا وَسَلَامًا عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ

Qulnaa yaa naaru koonee bardan wa salaaman `alaa Ibraaheem.

O fire! Be cool and peaceful on Ibrahim. (Surat al-Anbiyaa, 21:69)

So make us cool and peaceful in this era, on the Nation of the Beloved One, al-Mustafa, O Muhammad, upon him the best peace and blessings!

Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! By the coming of Muhammad, upon him the best peace and blessings, return us as You returned our Master, Ya`qub (as) to our Master Yusuf, (as). So return us, O Lord, O Allah, to make us inside the heart of Your Beloved, al-Mustafa, so he guides us to Your Straight Path and to show us the way in our hearts and in our actions!

Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! O King of Kings! O Lord of Might and Greatness and Omnipotence! We ask You, O Allah! O Almighty One! O Generous One! O Compassionate One, O Merciful One, to make us and to dress us and to manifest upon us as You manifested upon Your Beloved Mustafa, upon him the best peace and blessings. Manifest on us from Your Lights, from the Lights of al-Mustafa which You manifested From pre-Eternity with immeasurable lights and with descriptions that are impossible to ever count! These are descriptions that are special only for the Prophet (s), so we ask, O Allah, that You guide us with Your Mercy that You used to give mercy to Your Prophets and Your Saints, when You said, and Your Speech is Truth:

أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Alaa inna awliyaaullahi laa khawfun `alayhim wa laa hum yahzanoon.

Behold! Verily on the Friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve! (Surah Yunus, 10:62)

Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! You hear us without doubt, and You answer us, without doubt!

“Call on Me, I will answer.” (40:60) So we call on You, O Allah, from this mosque, to answer us

and to restore our level of faith to what it was when we were created, by the coming of Your Beloved al-Mustafa, the best of the best peace and blessings be upon him! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! As You returned Yusuf to his father, so return us to Muhammad, the best of the best peace and blessings be upon him!

Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Dress us with Your Beauty! Dress us with the Light of Your Beauty that You manifested upon our Master Yusuf, (as) with this Beauty and this Grandeur of Lights, as he is a portion of the Light of the Prophet, the best ofthe best of peace and blessings be upon him! So dress us from the Light of Your Prophet, Muhammad, as we are from his Nation.

Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Verily the tongue is incapable of words and verily the pen has no possibility to write, and verily everything that You created is unable to stand before You, O Our Lord!

Except by the coming of the Beloved al-Mustafa!

Except by the calling of the Beloved al-Mustafa!

Except by the invitation of the Beloved al-Mustafa!

So, O Messenger of Allah! We beg you from here to take us by the hand to the Presence of the Truth, al-Haqq, and upon you be the best peace and blessings.

Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Rescue us, O our Lord, from what we fear, and You are the One that never fears! So rescue us, O my Lord, from the accursed Shaytan and keep him far from us, O Allah, as we are fearful of You, and we fear Your punishment! So forgive us by the coming of Your Beloved One, al-Mustafa, and rescue us as You rescued Musa (as) from Pharoah! And today there are so many Pharoahs that they are countless, while the Pharoah of Musa was only one, but the Pharoahs of our time are so many. So we, O Allah, are begging for Your Pardon and we beg for safety by the coming of Your Beloved, al-Mustafa, upon him the best of peace and blessings!

You said, O Allah, and Your Speech is Truth, so You are the Clear Truth! And You are the Honest, Truthful, And You, O Allah, By the coming of the Beloved, al-Mustafa, Honor us with what You said in Your Noble

Book:

وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ

Wa rahmatee wasi`at kulla shay.

And My Mercy encompasses everything. (Surat al-`Araaf, 7:156)

And all of us are from this ‘everything.’ So the Mercy manifests on everything and we are something from these things. So manifest upon us, O Lord, with the manifestation of Mercy from which You created Muhammad, the Mercy of all the Worlds!

Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! You said, O Allah, with Your Might and with Your Ancient Words in the Noble Quran, the Qur’an from Your Words which is uncreated:

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ

Wa maa arsalnaaka illa rahmatan li ’l-`alameen.

And We have not sent you (O Muhammad) but as a Mercy to all that exists. (Surat al-Anbiya, 21:107)

This means, “I would not send You, O Muhammad, just for you alone, but I sent You as a Mercy for My Servants, and as a Mercy to My Universes, and as a Mercy to My Angels, and as a Mercy to everything I created, for all that is other than Me.”

Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! Yaa Allah! O Gracious One! O Merciful One! O Unique One, O Eternal One!

We ask You, O our Lord to rescue us as You rescued our Master `Isa, (as), from the wrongdoing folk! You raised him to Your Divine Presence, O Allah, so raise us, O Lord, to Your Heavens, by the coming of Your Beloved One, al-Mustafa, upon him the best of peace and blessings, and make our dwelling in Paradise to be with the Beloved al-Mustafa and:

معَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاء وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَـئِكَ رَفِيقًا

Ma` ‘Lladheena ana`mta `alayhim min an-nabiyyeen wa’s-siddiqeena wa ’sh-shuhadaa’i wa ’s-saaliheena wa hasuna oolaa’ika rafeeqa

With those from whom You have graced from the Prophets, from the Trustworthy, from the Martyrs and Righteous Ones. O, what a beautiful fellowship! (Surat an-Nisaa, 4:69)

O Lord! We came to You, O Allah, so do not turn us away from Your Door as failures! We came to You with Your Saints! We came to You with Your Beloved Ones! We came to You with every Great One that You have! We came to You with every Friend to You! We came to You with every Beloved One to You!

If not for desire there would be no tear on the cheek

and you would find nothing of existence or even this world!

“If not for desire,” meaning “if not for the love of the Messenger of Allah, the best of peace and blessings be upon him!” The desire of love, the fragrance of love! The pure fragrance that comes out from the Divine to the heart of the Messenger of Allah, the best of peace and blessings be upon him. There would not be a single human in creation if not for the Love of the Messenger of Allah, upon him peace and blessings, to his Lord!

So He created him as a Light from His Lights, and He created him from His Light, and He created everything from the Light of His Beloved, al-Mustafa, upon him the best peace and blessings. If it were not for your love, O Messenger of Allah, there would never be any tear from any eye! “If not for desire, you not find a tear on any cheek!” If not for your love, O Messenger of Allah, there would never come down one tear on every round cheek! So the cheek is raised up and the tear is on the cheek for your love, O Muhammad, the best of peace and blessings be upon him!

You, O Messenger of Allah, O Beloved of Allah! Gaze upon us, O my Master, to make our eyes well up with tears, tear after tear, until it becomes a river in Paradise, O Messenger of Allah! You are the One that Allah made, O Muhammad! O my Master! O Messenger of Allah! We address you from this place. You are the One that Allah made the angels send praises upon and their eyes overflow with tears until they are rivers flowing until the Day of Judgment! So these rivers that we drink from in this world are the tears of angels that send praise and blessings on the Prophet, upon him the best of peace and blessings!

Moment by moment in this life, you, O Messenger of Allah, O Beloved One of Allah, are the one without whom Allah would never have ordered the angels to make prostration to Adam. So they prostrate to your Light, O Muhammad, a prostration of respect, as Allah wills. And this prostration

they make by the Command of Allah, The Glorified, The Sublime, when you were Light in the chest and forehead of Adam, peace be upon him, shows that these Lights and praises and commands, O Messenger of Allah, would never appear if not for Allah’s Love to you! Nor would the angels have been commanded for prostration (sujood).

Wa idh qulnaa li’l-malaa’ikati ’sjudoo li aadama fa-sajadoo illaa ibleesa kaana mina ’l-jinni fa-fasaqa `an amri rabbih

And behold! Allah said to the angels, “Bow down to Adam!” and they bowed down, except Iblees. He was from the jinn and he broke the command of his Lord. (Surat al-Kahf, 18:50)

O my Master! O Messenger of Allah! O Beloved of Allah! From that Love that is between you and your Lord, The Glorified, the Sublime, it is impossible for anyone to know that Secret except you! So from that Secret, O Messenger of Allah, dress us with the secret of love, and the secret of passion for you and for your nation, and for the saints of Allah, and for the Prophets of Allah, O Beloved One of Allah, O Messenger of Allah, without looking at our actions and our deeds! No, but look at us with the gaze of love and mercy and forgiveness, O Messenger of Allah, and present us to the Presence of The Truth, The Glorified, The Sublime, clean, pure and purified, O Messenger of Allah!

O Messenger of Allah! O Mercy to the Worlds! You said:

ولا يزال عبدي يتقرب إلي بالنوافل حتى أحبه، فإذا أحببته كنت سمعه الذي يسمع به وبصره

الذي يبصر به، ويده التي يبطش بها ورجله التي يمشي بها،

Wa laa yazaala `abdee yataqarabu ilayya bi’ n-nawaafil hatta uhibbah. Fa idhaa ahbaabtahu kuntu sama`uhulladhee yasma`u bihi wa basarahulladhee yubsiru bihi, wa yadahulladhee yabtishu bihaa wa rijlahullatee yamshee bihaa.

My servant does not cease to approach Me through voluntary worship until I will love him. When I love him, I will become the ears with which he hears, the eyes with which he sees, the hand with which he acts, and the legs with which he walks (and other versions include, “and the tongue with which he speaks.”). (Hadith Qudsi, Bukhari)

And before that you (s) said:

ن عدى لي ولياً فقد آذنته بالحرب

Man `adaa lee waliyyan faqad aadhantahu bi ’l-harb.

(Allah [swt] said) Whoever comes against my wali, I declare war on him. (Hadith Qudsi)

O our Lord! O Allah! O our Lord! O Allah! O our Lord! O Allah! As Your Prophet, al-Mustafa, said in the Holy Hadith (hadith qudsi) about what You said, O Allah, make us to be from these rijaalAllah, “Men of God!” Make us to be from those who hear what cannot be heard and see what cannot be seen, and speak what is not spoken, and who change with their hands what cannot be touched, and who walk in Your Heavens and in Your Paradises and Your Gardens, and in every place that You made clement for them, O Allah!

And do not leave us to our egos, not even for a tiny bit, the blink of an eye, as Your Beloved Prophet (s) said:

اللهم لاتكلني الى نفسي طرفة عين ولا أقل من ذلك

Allahumma laa takilnee ila nafsee tarfat `aynin wa laa aqala min dhalika.

O Allah! Don't leave me to my ego for the blink of an eye or less.

O my Master! O Messenger of Allah! O Mercy to the Worlds! You say the truth, as you are the Honest, the Trustworthy, and you said in a hadith, and before the hadith we recite the verse:

وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَى مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَى وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَى إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُوحَى

Wa’n-najmi idhaa hawaa maa dalla saahibukum wa maa ghawaa wa maa yantiqu `ani’l-hawaa in huwa illa wahyun yoohaa.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful! By the star when it goes down! Your companion is neither astray nor being misled. Nor does he say of his own desire. It is no less than inspiration sent down to him. (Surat an-Najm, 53:1-4)

O my Master, O Messenger of Allah! You don’t speak of your own desire; rather everything that you speak of, nay, even each time you open your noble mouth, is a Divine inspiration! And you said:

يأتي على الناس زمان القابض على دينه كالقابض على الجمر

Yaatee `ala an-naasi zamaan al-qaabidu `ala deenihi ka’l-qaabidu `alaal-j ’amr.

The one holding his religion firmly in his hand is like someone holding a burning coal. (Tirmidhi)

O my Master, O Messenger of Allah! You said, “The one holding his/her religion, is like the one holding hot coal!” And there is no one, male or female, that would want to hold fire, because fire burns and out of fear of being burned they don’t hold coals. No! Every person wants to run away when there is a fire. However, as the Prophet (s), the best of peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The one holding his/her religion is like the one holding a burning coal.” It means you, O youth of the ummah! It means you, men and women of the Nation of the Beloved, al-Mustafa (s)! If you remain on the Straight Path in this era and time, in which we see freedom from everything, without restraints, until corruption appeared on land and on seas (everywhere). So if you prayed, fasted, gave charity and went to Hajj, then it is as if you were holding fire in your hands, because the fire gives severe pain, and to be the servants of Allah, The Glorified, The Sublime in this time period is difficult. And you carry these difficulties in the way of love to the Prophet, al-Mustafa (s), and in the way of love of Allah (swt) to His Religion, Islam!

So it is incumbent upon us, until we acclimate ourselves to the religion, then we must make praise upon the Prophet, the best of peace and blessings be upon him, as he said, “Who sends one prayer upon me, Allah sends ten of His Prayers upon that person.” O our Lord! O Allah! Indeed we say, “O Allah! Send your prayers upon our Master, Muhammad (s), and upon the Family of our Master, Muhammad!” For this one prayer, Allah (swt) sends upon us ten times, and the prayer of Allah is better than our prayer: it is beyond description, but we can describe our prayer. The description of the salaat of Allah, The Glorified, The Sublime, no one can understand except Allah! And it will be written in our pages on the Day of Judgment.

So we beg that Allah accepts us, and that He pardons us, and that He allows us to enter into the Oceans of His Paradises, and that He makes us to be with the Beloved al-Mustafa, the best of peace and blessings be upon him! I say these words and I seek forgiveness from Allah, The Almighty, for me and for you, and for all who strive in seeking forgiveness! So, O what a reward it is for those seeking forgiveness! Astaghfirullah.
