A`oodhu billahi min ash-Shaytani ‘r-rajeem. Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem.

Alhamdulillahi Rabbi 'l-`Alameen, wa ’s-salaatu wa ’s-salaamu `alaa ashrafi 'l-mursaleena Sayyidina wa Nabiyyina Muhammadin wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi ajma`een.

Alhamdulillah alaa kulli haal siwwal kifri wa tallal. Akamaal ibaad fi maa araad wa lahul muraad fi maa yureed. We have to thank Allah (swt) endlessly, without stopping, for His ni`mah that He sends on us. Wa in taoodoo ni`matullahi laa tahsoo, “If you count the ni`mah of Allah (swt), laa tahsooha (there are) so many,” which is why you cannot count them. It is not one ni`mah, it is ni`mutullah katheera, so many; ‘ni`matullah’ is one ni`mah, that is why He said it is plural and singular in the same ayah. Wa in taoodoo ni`matullahi laa tahsoo, “If you count ni`matullah, it is so many and impossible to estimate.”

All ni`mullah come under the one umbrella that all ni`m Allah comes under it. That ni`mAllah Allah is mentioning is confirmed: you cannot reach it or estimate it, lan tadrikuha. Every cell in the body is a ni`mah: if that cell is sick we are sick. How many cells are there in the body? Trillions. Sometimes a mosquito bites you and your hand is aching for many days, then you cannot count that ni`mah Allah has given us in our physical bodies.

What is bigger, the body or the spirit? The body is limited and the spirit, soul is unlimited. Even in the grave the body is limited, but the soul can go freely: if you are from Ahl al-Jannah, Allah will free the soul to go anywhere. If someone is from Ahl an-Naar, may Allah protect us from that, then he is limited by limits of the Fire.

We cannot estimate or evaluate the ni`mah Allah gave as it from His Treasures. He gave you a soul that we don't know from where it came, we only know Allah created it. In another lecture, they put a question mark: how the soul enters the womb of the mother. [Outdoor strange noise is heard.] Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. They are passing from here and going, ni`mullah. May Allah grant us to be under that big ni`mah of being Muslim as you didn't get that ni`mah kasban, with your effort. No, Allah gave you that and He created everyone on Islam, as in the Hadith:

يولد الانسان على الفطرة ، فأبواه يهودانه أو ينصرانه أو يمجسانه

Man is born upon fitra (innocence), but his parents make him a Jew, a Christian or a Magian.

(Bukhari, Muslim)

Allah created him clean and pure, and either his parents make him follow the Christian, Jewish or Zoroastrian religion.” He did not say ‘Muslim’ because you are pure at that time, without sin. So when Allah orders the Angel of Souls to send that soul, it is arranged in battalions like in an army, and it immediately goes to the womb of the mother it belongs to. How do they know? Every day how many children are being born? Let's say one million. How do those one million souls run to the wombs without an accident? They don't make a mistake and go to the womb of an undesignated mother. Today when a lady gives birth, they put a bracelet with the mother’s and father's name on the baby in case someone tries to kidnap or switch it. So what about the souls, how don't they get switched?

Look at the animals: each baby animal knows its mother. How? Who informed them, “This is your mother.” If you put a young animal in a herd, it will find its mother. Who is guiding it? That soul coming from Heavens, entering the body of the mother is an honor for ladies. How do all these souls coming at the same time not have accidents? Driving on highways we get into hundreds of accidents, and these souls travel in fractions of a second by Kun fa yakoon. They are in the Divine Presence, and when Allah sends the soul to the womb of the mother they are immediately there.

Bismillah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem, there is an angel in charge of these souls coming from Heaven. Allah is giving us this big ni`mah. Can you accept any mother other than your own? Everyone has his own mother, that is ni`mah also; if there are two mothers then there will be problems. Allah (swt) gave so many ni`mah and preserves their respect and honor, and biggest honor is our existence in this life. Prophet (s) said, “The best for me is when Allah calls me `abdee, ‘My servant’.”

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَى بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلاً مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى

Glory be to He Who transported His servant by night from the Inviolable House of Worship (at Mecca) to the Remote House of Worship (at Jerusalem). (Surat al-Israa’, 17:1)

That is a ni`mah. Wherever the queen bee goes the other bees follow and we are the bees, so we follow. They don't bite each other, that is ni`mah; if they bite each other there will be bloodshed as each beehive has thousands of bees, and typically 30,000 bees give honey, which is ni`mullah. But Allah put them under one ni`mah and said, “You cannot estimate how many ni`mah.” We must thank Allah for the ni`mahs He grants every day. What is the greatest ni`mah on Earth and in Heavens that angels try to understand, that all prophets mentioned to their nations from the time of Adam (a)?

Iblees, may Allah curse him, knew it is a treasure of important favors that Allah gave all Creation, so he worshipped non-stop. `Ulama and Awliya agree that Iblees did not leave a space anywhere in all Creation where he did not make sajda on it, assuming that ni`mah was for him. He kept worshipping everywhere to get that ni`mah, but in reality he sought something that did not belong to him. He was delighted to think he would get it, but Allah did not give it to him, He gave to Adam (a)! Allah showed a fraction of that ni`mah to all angels so they could understand something about that Light that appeared on Sayyidina Adam’s forehead! Had there been no such Light, there would have been no competition from Iblees to take that ni`mah.

When that Noor appeared on Adam (a), Allah ordered angels to make sajda and all of them did, except the one cursed by Allah. He believed in Allah (swt), the Creator, and sought Allah's favors up to Judgement Day, and Allah granted him that.

Iblees asked, “Grant me long life so. I can make human beings do what I want.” Allah (swt) replied:

وَقَدِمْنَا إِلَى مَا عَمِلُوا مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ هَبَاء مَّنثُورًا

And We shall turn to whatever deeds they did (in this life), and We shall make such deeds as floating dust scattered about. (Surat al-Furqaan, 25:23)

Allah said, “Do what you want with them! We will make it habaa'in manthoora, as dust blown in the wind,” as if it never existed, for it has no meaning. This camera is ni`mah for viewers and those who invented it, and who facilitates ni`matullah to broadcast everywhere will be favored on the Day of Judgement. Allah might forgive everyone on the Day of Judgement because of that, for those who are using it for a good purpose, to spread teachings of Imaan, Ihsaan, and the Maqaam al-Ihsaan.

أن تعبد الله كأنك تراه، فإن لم تكن تراه فإنه يراك

That you worship Allah as if you see Him, for, if you don't see Him, truly He sees you. (Bukhari)

Allah will favor those who used these cameras for Islamic and peaceful dawah and everyone will share that ni`mah. How can you reach hundreds of thousands or millions without it? No way! But Allah (swt) gave Ummat an-Nabi a better camera than this, about which He said to, “Come to Me, love Me. If you really love Me, love My Prophet.”

Say (O Muhammad), "If you (really) love Allah, then follow me! Allah will love you and forgive your sins, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Surat Aali-'Imraan, 3:31)

When Allah loves you, He will give you the power to see what no one can see and to hear what no one can hear. That is a modern, heavenly camera that takes the `abd from haalun an-nafs to Maqaam at-Tawheed, from the mud of sicknesses and sins into the Station of Oneness, love of Allah (swt) and His Prophet (s). These cameras play a role and our heart plays a role. That value of that ni`mah Allah gave to humanity cannot be estimated. All treasures are opened for you when you want to get that ni`mah. Allah (swt) gave it to Sayyidina Adam (a) to carry in his Trust and when it appeared on his forehead, Allah said, “I am dressing My Servant Sayyidina Muhammad (s) with this ni`mah.”

That is why Iblees did not make sajda and said defiantly, “I am better than Adam! Why did You give that to him and not me?” That moment, arrogance and pride threw Iblees in Hellfire, in awhaar ad-dunya, the mud of sins! That greatest ni`mah is Sayyidina Muhammad (s), whom Allah (swt) wants all angels to know. He did not say ‘salloo `ala an-Nabi’ discreetly, in private; rather, He openly addressed all the angels a simultaneously, saying, “All of you must respect Prophet (s) and make salawaat on him!”

At that moment, when the Light of Prophet (s) entered the forehead of Adam (a), Allah (swt) taught Adam (a) the names of all things in Heavens and on Earth.

وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الأَسْمَاء كُلَّهَا

And He taught Adam the names of all things. (Surat al-Baqara, 2:31)

Those names are the secrets of Asma’ullah al-Husnaa and are the most powerful Names. Under Allah's Ninety-nine Names are another Ninety-nine Names, and under those are another ninety-nine, and `ulama say there are no limits. We know the Ninety-nine Names, and there are limitless others, each within its own existence from which Allah created other Creations. You cannot see them, but Awliyaullah see what Allah (swt) gave Ummat an-Nabi (s), and we are the last Creation.

I heard Grandshaykh `AbdAllah and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q), may Allah give them endless blessings, and if we make mistake we ask them to forgive us, say that Adam (a) asked Jibreel (a), “When did Allah (swt) create Creation?” and Jibreel (a) said, “One day I asked Allah to show me His Creation and Allah said, ‘Yaa Jibreel, extend your six-hundred wings, with move with all your speed and you will see some of My Creation.’”

It is well documented in seerahs that Jibreel has six-hundred wings and when he came to Prophet (s) he used two wings. Jibreel (a) went with full speed for 70,000 years, got tired and stopped. He asked, “Yaa Rabbee, is there more?” and Allah said, “Yes, yaa Jibreel. You only covered one corner; the rest of My Creations you cannot see, they are for My Beloved One, Sayyidina Muhammad (s),” from whose Light all Creation was created. We are part of that Creation as the Muslim Ummah. Thank you, yaa Rabbee, thank you, yaa Sayyidi, yaa Rasoolullah, and our thanks to all Awliya, `ulama and good people! May Allah bless you and bless us all.

So when Allah gave that ni`mah to humanity, he also gave the Qalam.

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ. وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ

And he who did an atom's weight of good will see it, and he who did an atom's weight of evil will see it.

(Surat az-Zalzalah, 99:7-8)

Allah finished that hukum, judgement, by Kun faya koon and ordered angels to give the Pen to Prophet (s), whom He ordered to sit in his assigned station, al-Maqaam al-Mahmood. That is why Prophet (s) always told the Sahaabah and all Ummat an-Nabi (s) to recite: Allahumma rabba hadhihi ‘daʿwata t-taammah wa ‘s-salaati ‘l-qaaʾimah aati Muhammadan al-waseelata wa ‘l-fadeelata wa ‘d-darajata ‘r-rafeeʿah wa-’bʿath-hu maqmaan mahmoodan alladhee waʿadtahu innaka laa tukhlifu ‘l-meeʿaad.[1]

“You promised to give him Maqaam al-Mahmood.” That maqaam is blessed: there is only one and Allah gave it to Prophet (s) alone. When Allah opens it for him and gives him the Pen, He will say, “Take whom you like to Paradise and whom you like to Hellfire, I am leaving that judgement to you.” That is Maqaam al-Mahmood, that Allah granted that judgement to Prophet (s). What will he do? He is happy to send everyone from his Ummah to Paradise, ummatahu afdal al-umam. Is ‘afdal al-umam’ only those we know? It means all of Creation as Prophet (s) is also the prophet of Creations we don’t know. So what will happen? Allah will put him on a chair of judgment, not a physical chair, but a seat of Light, yareeq bi sha'ni an-Nabi, that is befitting for Prophet (s). Scholars have deeper knowledge about where that seat was and I don’t want to go into that very delicate subject. We know that Allah (swt) gave him the Pen and said, “Send whom you want to Paradise and whom you want to Hellfire.” Allah made that judgment.

When Prophet (s) takes the Pen from the angels, at that moment, as mentioned by many scholars, Allah will send the Manifestations of His Ninety-Nine Beautiful Names and Attributes on Ahl al-Mawqif, the People of the Gathering, the people Allah is judging, which means the Creation. He will send on all of His Creation the Manifestation of His Ninety-Nine Beautiful Names, turning everyone into a star, a radiant Light that can be seen all the way to Paradise! In a fraction of a second, bridges and bridges will be put over Hellfire so that the mu’min and Muslim can cross to the other side. When Prophet (s) sees that he will say, Anta ‘l-arhaama ‘r-Raahimeen, “You are The Most Merciful of those who give mercy!”

Prophet (s) will be so surprised to see his whole Ummah in good shape, all of them shining with Light from the rahmah that will come on them on the Day of Judgement, like stars on a dark night. When Allah dresses Prophet (s) with that, he (s) will say, “Yaa Rabbee! Take all of them to Paradise, yamhullah ma yashaau wa yuthbit wa indahu umm al-kitaab.” In that moment, Allah will erase all the sins of the entire Ummat an-Nabi (s)!

And with praises that befit His Prophet and Himself, Allah will send the whole Ummah under the Shining Dome of Prophet (s). Creation will move, but not like us on Earth when we stampede and tranple people and they die. As soon as Prophet (s) says, “Go to Paradise,” all the domes and bridges of Heavenly Light will appear and as soon as people take one step they will reach their assigned destinations, like the story of Mawlana Shaykh (q).

Once a shaykh sat with his mureeds and said to one of them, “Move, walk!”

When the shaykh orders you to go, you want to know where to go, so the mureed said, “Sayyidi, where do I have to go?”

The shaykh said, “Sit down, you failed.” Then he told another mureed, “Go!” That mureed looked at the first one and said to himself in his heart, “Go where?” Immediately, even without the mureed saying anything, the shaykh said, “You sit down also.” He knew that in his heart the mureed still didn’t know where to go. When the shaykh said to a third mureed, “Go,” without looking back or ahead, that one immediately one went and as soon he exited the door of the masjid, he found himself in India!

In Ibn Taymiyya's encyclopedia on Maqaam al-Fana`, Vol. 2 or Vol. 4, Fatawa Ibn Taymiyya Kubra, a similar story is mentioned regarding two people who were taking wudu on the river bank and one fell in and was drowning and the second one found himself drowning with him.

When the shaykh tells you to move, you move. If you hit obstacles, khalas, no problem, it is rahmah: it teaches us that when we move without questioning we will find our goal there. May Allah (swt) give us what we wish for and what we like, because everything is His ni’mah. May Allah (swt) make us from His sincere servants, and accept our du`as and make all of us successful in dunya and Akhirah, men, women and children, and may Allah save us from difficulties, miseries and problems.

Bi hurmatil-habeeb bi hurmati ‘l-Fatihah.

The story I mentioned is to teach us how much shuyookh love their followers and want them to succeed, and how they try their best to bring them in a state of full submission. We say alhamdulillah for His ni`aam, we thank Allah for granting us guidance from within ourselves.

If Allah (swt) wants goodness for His servant, He will make for him a guide in his heart.

(Abu Na`eem al-Ispahani in Hilyat al-Awliya fom Ahmad bin Hanbal)

Alhamdulillah, Mawlana left dunya happy with many people around him. Everyone speaks highly about Mawlana Shaykh Nazim (q) because he did his best for the Ummah. Those who were around him and helped worked like ants.

We ask Allah (swt) to forgive us and to give us from His Endless Treasures and Pleasures. Many people come asking questions and so on, may Allah (swt) fulfill their needs.

Bi hurmati ‘l-habeeb bi hurmati ‘l-Fatihah.
